Third person pov:
It is the morning after the wedding between Walder Frey and Alora Reed, Walder was in his solar.
He was planning out his next move in his building his dream.
He rang a bell; a guard stuck his head through the door "please bring me my uncle for me." He said
A couple minutes later his uncle walked in "You wished to see me nephew." He said
"I need your advice in making a council that will help run Agartha and another run the future house Frey." Walder said
They discussed it until they came up with positions but not the candidates for them.
The council in charge of maintaining and running Agartha would be harbormaster, Revenue master, Mayor, head of the prefects, head of the city guard, and the minister of justice.
The revenue master was in charge of collecting revenue from local businesses, people, and taxing people at the gates and harbor.
Harbormaster is in charge of running and maintaining the harbor, keeping track of what comes through the harbor.
Mayor is in charge of running and maintaining Agartha.
The prefects are in charge of enforcing laws and maintaining them in Agartha.
The city guard was in charge of the defense of the city in war and peace time.
The minister of justice was in charge of the prosecution of law breaker.
"we'll build the headquarters of prefects and the minister of justice on the eastern shore inside main wall." Walder said
"The same for city guard build on the eastern bank." He said
"Then the revenue master and the harbormaster headquarters built on the western shore inside main wall." He said
"What about the mayor." Lord Myke said
"the mayor's headquarters will be on the eastern bank in the wall." Walder said
"In the future I will need a master of coin and spymaster." He said
They heard a knock from the door, "Come in." Walder said
Maester Harran walked in, "Milord, Lady Alora is in the training yard." He said
"Why is it important where my wife is?" Walder said
Maester Harran put his hands behind his back.
"It is unseemly for ladies to train to fight and other lords may start rumors."
Upon hearing that his uncle looked as if he was about to comment but held back.
Walder leaned out of his chair, "The only lords here right now are her family and the lords that I allow to be here." Walder said
Walder pov:
I started to leave the solar, Maester Harran and my uncle followed me out of the solar.
Walking to the yard, "I want portcullis built at either gate house for Agartha, and I want scorpions lining all the walls of the Twins river side and along the kill zone of Agartha."
"Have the river wall on each bank expanded north and south, start planning out the next curtain wall until that we start building it have a wood fence and gate built connecting where the new river wall." I said
"We will have to plan for expansion of the docks." I said
"Walder, don't you think your being over zealous in the security of house Frey." My uncle said
I stopped outside the courtyard, "The security of house Frey, lands, and its people is the upmost importance."
"The Riverlands has been the battle ground of the Seven Kingdoms for centuries and house Frey can be disposed or replaced by lord paramount or the king." I said
Sitting down on the stairs, I watched Alora duel a Reed guard, she was fighting with a forked spear wearing training leathers.
"By next year I want both councils set up and expand the towers trade company." I said
"Set up offices in Seagard, Saltpans, Maidenpool, and here in Agartha. Train more merchants and train people to staff the offices and buy brothels and inns in the Riverlands." I said
Still watching her duel, "Maester Harran I read that a maester at the Citadel developed a new plough?" I said
"Yes, milord it's a heavier plough that would turn up the soil more, would you like me to procure the plans for it." He said
"Yes, once we do have some built distribute and instruct the farmers in my lands to use." I said
I decided instead of trying to bring tech from my era I will build my own engineer corp.
Walking out on to the training yard, "Alora would you be up to a duel?" I said
She stepped away from the reed guard, "I would've thought southrons such as yourself would admonish a lady fighting." She said
Pulling off my shirt handing it to a guard, "To be husband and wife is to be part of a partnership, for what ever course we shall take, we will do it together." I said
Drawing my sword, was handed an oval shield by a guard.
Holding my shield up with my sword at my side, "Ladies first." I said
She didn't respond only lunged forward, blocking her lunge to the side with my shield.
As the fight went on neither of us was allowing the other to get close to the other. Soon I grew tired of the speed of this duel.
Pushing her spear out of the way with my shield, she dropped her spear as I placed my blade at her neck.
"It seems I won my lady." I said
"I don't think so milord." She said
I wondered why she said that, she motioned down with her head.
Looking down she had a knife in her hand leveled at my crotch.
Leaning into her ear, "What about we continue this in are bedchamber." I whispered
Handing off my shield and grabbing my shirt, I took her hand in mine as we made are way to the bedroom.
