Three years after the marriage of Walder Frey and Alora Frey nee Reed, a year after their marriage bore fruit two twin girls named Nymeria and Visenya.
In that year the council of Agartha was created made up of trained commoners picked by Walder Frey, the spymaster was a woman named Alys Snow using the Frey owned brothels, inns, and Frey merchant company as a spy network in procuring information and the moving of it without suspicion in the future and help move assassins to targets.
The master of coin was a man named Jarrad Rivers a son of a merchant as master of coin he would keep the accounts of house Frey and its many streams of revenue from taxes to businesses.
Agartha was built on a grid. In the first layer of Agartha on either side of the river is in the shape of a half circle its walls connecting to the river wall same for the second layer.
When the second walls were being built, Walder decided instead of using solid stone for walls he had bricks made using dirt, crushed rock and fired. He had the wall, towers and gatehouse built close to the same fashion as the roads.
Same as the twins the defenses mirrored each other, walls had rounded towers, gatehouses had a gate, murder holes, and had portcullis at either end of the gatehouse entrance. Upstream and downstream new river chain walls were built.
The new sections of Agartha on either bank were made of the same grey brick, the eastern bank had the headquarters for the prefects, city guard, and the minister of justice built along the main avenue.
Including homes, Forges, tavern, orphanage, a small arena for bare knuckle fights, and a public bathhouse.
The western bank had the headquarters for the mayor, revenue master, and harbormaster. Homes, tavern, orphanage, another arena, and another bathhouse. Walder had sewer system in the built throughout Agartha.
In the second year, Walder had a fortified compound built around the vineyard, brick walls with towers at the corners. A bathhouse, barracks, armory, villa and a training area.
He recruited failed maesters to teach reading, writing, and mathematics to the orphans in Agartha orphanages. Had some stationed at the vineyard complex for a later date.
In the third year, Walder and Alora had their third child a girl named Octavia.
The Walder Frey renamed the Frey merchant company to the Grey Towers company. Soon he expanded the company buying a cog in Seagard, Saltpans, and Maidenpool. Each ship had an established route for certain ports.
Built and staffed new offices in Gull town, Lannisport, and Kings landing.
He had his uncle add simple calisthenic to the yearly training regimen of the levies.
Walder was planning his expansion of his interests.
Walder Frey pov:
I had just finish writing three letters when there was a knock at the door.
Sealing the letters, "Enter." I said
Maester Harran walked in with my uncle taking a seat in front of my desk.
"Milord the white raven has come." Maester Harran said
"Winters here, Harran send these letters to the houses I wrote on them." I said
As he left the room I turned to my uncle.
"As winter has started uncle, I would like you to go to Braavos to open an account for house Frey, the Grey towers company, and open an account for a sellsword company I would like you to establish." I said
"How many men?" He asked
"One-hundred young men with some veterans to command and run the company without you there." I said
"How long do you want me there for?" He asked
"A year or less and I want to introduce a practice where we adopt children raise and train them here and when the sellsword company is established in essos."
My uncle had pensive look on his face.
"Uncle if you have something to say, say it." I said
"Walder you're acting as if a war is on our door step." He said, with worry in his voice.
"I want people truly loyal to me, it is easier create competent loyal followers than it is to find these individuals." I said
"I have planned this. The orphanages I had built will supply boys at seven name days old they will be taken to the vineyard to begin their martial and intellectual training." I said
"When their training is done, they can choose to stay here at house Frey, join the sellsword company, and or go out on their own." I said
There was a knock at the door a guard walked in bowed.
"Milord, Jason Mallister here to see you." He said
"Bring him here." I said
The guard left and my uncle got up to leave.
"Uncle stay this involves you too." I said, pulling a rectangular box from the desk.
Lord Mallister entered the solar, "Lord Frey, Lord Myke." He said, taking a chair next to my uncle.
"Lord Mallister I believe our interests and goals are the same." I said
"Instead of just forming a coalition of sorts. I believe that we form a society that will further are own singular interests but also strengthen the Seven kingdoms as a whole." I said
"If I was to say yes to this, how would this group work?" He said
"Each member can recruit initiates, but you can not tell them anything about the rest of the society. We will help each other further are goals as long as they further the Seven Kingdoms as a whole." I said
"Using our power to influence the world by direct action through agents or subterfuge by infiltrate or recruitment." I said
Opening the case pulled out three rings placing two of them on the desk in front of them. Placing the third on my middle finger.
The rings were gold seal signet rings with the eye of Providence on them I couldn't help myself.
Lord Mallister and my Uncle to the rings placing them on their middle fingers.
"Welcome to the Eye my fellow lords." I said
"Nephew how will we communicate without anyone knowing?" My uncle said
"Invisible ink written in mundane letters using invisible ink made from water and lemon juice revealed when the parchment is heated up." I said
"If we are helping each other further are interests, I would like to be part of the grey towers company get a share of the profits, I will supply some ships and money." He said
"That is doable I believe some other people would like to join in the future, we should form a council for governing the company." I said
"If your going to be part of the company you can help by having your merchants become part of the grey towers company and get free merchants to join it." I said
"Uncle when you go to Braavos do the same but have one for the company itself then two separate ones for lord Mallister and I. Every three months three percent of profits from grey towers company will be put in are accounts." I said
Standing up from the chair, "I believe we should part ways here." I said
Shaking Lord Mallister hand hugging my uncle they left the room.
