"You guys are okay!" I sighed, relieved. The anger died down in their eyes after Annabeth, Piper and Hazel came rushing towards them. Piper gave Jason a kiss—Annabeth did too, after scolding Percy for not listening to her. Hazel squeezed Frank in a hug. Leo just stood there. "Hey, those were some mad hammer skills, dude." He smiled at my compliment.

"Okay, we've got to hurry before more nasties come ringing our doorbell." Everyone nodded in agreement. I plucked my phone out of my pocket and made an emergency group message.

"Meet me in playground. Emergency meeting. P.S. Bring your parents' phone if you can." A crazy plan flitted through my mind.

"My friends will meet us at the playground. Um, you guys might want to freshen up. There's a bathroom in my room." I informed them. They examined their current clothes and shrugged. They followed me quietly back to my room. Nico was still sleeping peacefully. His black hair raised every time he let out a breath.

"I'll change first, then each of you can clean your faces. Sheesh, what did you do, get into a fight with a dirt monster? Did it win?" I snorted. They remained expressionless, except for Leo, who was hiding a grin. I yanked a few clothes from my closet and strode into the bathroom. A couple minutes later, I came out in black leggings and a dark blue sweatshirt.

Then everyone freshened up, and looked ready to go. Well, everyone but Nico. He still dozed off on my bed. I exchanged a few concerned glances at the seven.

"Uh…" I pointed at Nico. Piper sat on the bed, and shook Nico. "Hey, uh, get up." She said. Nico got up, drowsily, then shot to his feet when he saw me, but he wobbled and fell onto the ground. "Uh, I surrender!" I said stupidly. "What? Um, I mean, I'm one of the good guys." Piper helped him up, as he inspected me. I gave him a sort-of reassuring smile.

Frank gave him a quick update. "Come on, we're going to be late. Your friends might be waiting." Hazel reminded.

Frank continued filling Nico in as we walked to the playground.

The sky was peppered with stars in the cloudy black night. Nico stopped abruptly when Frank mentioned the part where I knew about them. I let out a nervous chuckle when he stared me down. I wiped my clammy palms on my leggings. The cold breeze blew on our faces.

I snuggled in my sweatshirt for warmth. I saw Percy and Annabeth gazing at the darkness. Their eyes held heartache and sorrow.

"Thinking about Bob and Damasen?" I asked before I could stop myself. They looked at me with shock and a little compliance. "How did—you know what?" Annabeth sighed. "Yeah, I was." She said, her voice hoarse. Percy nodded.

"we're here." I gestured to the playground. It wasn't much, 4 slides, a seesaw, 2 pairs of swings and gravelly sand on the ground. The playground was surrounded by bushes. Most people don't come to the playground, that's why they didn't spend too much money on building it.

It's also why me and my friends get some alone time to talk about serious matters, like seven people appearing in your closet, with one unconscious boy. There wasn't anyone there. "I guess we wait." Jason said. We all sat on the ground, some on the see-saw and a couple on the swings.

Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a swish of shadow. I shot to my feet, heart hammering. I gulped. The seven frowned at me.

"What's wrong?" Percy asks.

They all surround me in a semi-circle. They drew their weapons. The bushes rustled. "Who are you? It's me, Olivia," I call. I'm talking to a bush, I thought. It must be nothing. "It's probably just my nerves." I reassured them. They lowered their weapons.

Then the same shadow-y figure zoomed near me. This time, everyone saw it. It dove into a nearby bush. I gestured the seven to wait as I walked towards the bush. The sand crunched underneath my feet. The bush seemed to be trembling.

I separated the leaves.

There, I saw my friend, Nicole, trembling. "Dracaena," She whispered.
