"Where is she." Sherman growled maliciously. I waved to him. "Hey bestie! How are you?" I smiled. What was this idiot doing here? Eh, it doesn't even matter.

"Shut up," Sherman shouted. He turned to a very confused centaur. "Chiron, I demand a punishment for this crazy girl!"

"She started a fight with me over nothing and left me stranded in the middle of the woods. I could've died!"

Mutters and whispers broke out amongst the campers. Lilith whacked my shoulder. "Not a very good first impression huh?" I scoffed. "Yeah, whatever, "I muttered to her, then to Chiron I said: "Chiron, if I may, Yang was being very disrespectful. I want you to note that I don't lash out like this very much, so what he said really got on my nerves." Chiron ran his hand through his hair and heaved a sigh.

"Everyone, please lower your voices. Perhaps this should make sense." The campers slowly became silent. "Olivia Flinn, daughter of Ares; god of Warfare." The room became completely silent. It was almost as if everyone held their breath. "What?!" An incredulous cry came from Sherman Yang. "Impossible! I refuse to live under the same cabin as her! She deserves a punishment, and I want to give it to her."

I snickered. "Yeah, not happening, Sparkles. There is no way I'm listening to a dictator like you. Also, Ares? Huh. That's…interesting." Chiron nodded. "It seems as if the god has taken a special interest in your violent and brave manners." Chiron explained. I felt the eyes of every camper in the mess hall on me. "So…uh, what about my friends?" I asked, trying to break the awkward tension.

"Ah, Lilith Preston. Daughter of Apollo, God of music and archery. Apollo has seen your gifts with music." Lilith stared at Chiron, blank faced. With shock or happiness, I wasn't so sure. "Cassandra Foxx. You are a daughter of Hephaestus, god of blacksmith and fire. And finally, Nicole Whatson. Daughter of Athena, Goddess of warfare and wisdom." Cassie grinned at Leo. "What's up, bro!" Leo laughed. "Come sit with us, brand new sis."

Cassie glanced at Lilith, Nicki and I. "Go ahead," Lilith told her. Cassie hopped on over to the Hephaestus table and sat down. I gave her a little smile. Will and Blake, I think was his name, waved Lilith over. She walked over to the Apollo table and flashed Nicki and I an excited grin. Annabeth introduced Nicki to the Athena table.

That left me.

"I'm good." I told the Ares kids. They stared me down from their table. Ok, then. Not so friendly: noted. "As for Olivia's punishment," Chiron spoke again. My head shot up to him. So did my friends', I noticed. Sherman smirked as he sat down at the Ares table.

"Wait!" A voice cried out.

It was Ace. What was that idiot doing?

"It was me. I beat him up." Ace lied. He stared at Chiron. Oh no. No way he was taking the blame. "No. It was me. I beat him up. Ace is lying." I protested. "No. It was me!" A different voice called out. It was…Cassie's? All heads turned toward her. "Both of them are lying! It was me. I've always hated Sherman."

Gears in my head started to turn.

"Stop, all of you!" Sherman tried to argue. Lilith stood up. "It was me! I ditched my tour group and showed Sherman who's boss." Nicki also stood up.

What…why?

"All of you. Stop. Sherman ticked me off. I did this to him." Nicki faked. Chiron rubbed his temples. "Now, children—" Sherman cut him off. "It was Shorty! She did this to me." Nicki walked and stood in front of Sherman Yang defiantly. "And we're supposed to believe you? When's the last time you told the truth? You probably lie with every breath."

Sherman stopped and sneered at Nicki. "Shut up, freak." "Hey, you shut it yang." Annabeth frowned. Shouts arose from the campers.

Chiron stomped his hooves and silenced the mess hall. "Enough! There will be no punishment for anyone, for we cannot find a culprit." His eyes glinted mischievously.

"Now that dinner is over, please report back to your cabins and have lights off. The harpies are quite eager tonight." Chiron ended.

"Hey," A voice greeted behind me. Ace hip-bumped me. "You didn't have to do that." I chided. Ace shrugged. "I couldn't let my Mama Bear get in trouble." I raised my eyebrows. "Your? I am no one's. Understood, muscles?" Ace laughed. "Yes, sorry ma'am."

"You sure you can survive in the Ares cabin?" Ace asked, concerned. "I don't know, can you walk?" I asked, sarcastically. Ace walked into his cabin. "Bye, Mama Bear." And with a salute he disappeared inside. I shook my head. That nickname's definitely going to stick, huh?

I slowly walked into the Ares cabin. A few guys and girl were asleep on their beds. A few of the guys walked towards me and started snickering. "Did you really beat up Yang? That's awesome." Guy number One chuckled. "Yeah, so? Now show me my bed. And if it's booby trapped, you will wake up with no fingers." I threatened. Then smirked when their smiles disappeared. "I'm kidding. But seriously, bed. Now." They showed me a big dark maroon quilted bed on the back corner of the cabin. "I'll take it." I said, suddenly really tired. They smiled and dozed off in their beds.

I climbed on my bed and slept almost immediately. But then the nightmares began.
