Dark Desires

-Natural-

"I've already told you my opinion. Venom is a criminal." Endeavor spoke to the camera person as he walked to the UA stadium.

"But sir!" The naive reporter kept bothering the man. "Public opinion of him is on the rise, and with Mysterio locking the actual villain away inside the boy he has been doing so much good as-"

"A vigilante." Endeavor cut him off, his flames flaring to make the poor reporter back off. "Both him, and Mysterio are vigilantes, who have resisted arrests several times. If I ever see them I will be taking care of it. My way."

Marching towards the grand arena, he felt slightly nostalgic. As an alumni of the school, he too participated here in his youth. Today, he would witness his son, the perfect creation, compete against the other hero hopefuls. Endeavor would have no doubts about his son winning every event and earning the golden medal, if only Shoto would stop resisting the fire aspect of his quirk, holding himself back.

Coming up to the security checkpoint, he placed his ticket against the computer and was given a green light. A couple heroes stationed nearby were on edge, understandable given the recent events of the Green Goblin going about and demolishing agencies. Some might even be weary if Venom showed up.

That wasn't going to happen. That boy was trying to play hero and his face was known across the nation. He wouldn't dare show himself here.

"Excuse me sir."

He internally groaned, turning around and seeing a boy waiting his turn behind him. He was wearing a black hoodie that somewhat concealed his plain features. Just some pale skin, dark eyes, short curly black hair, nothing standing out to him about the teenager.

Next to the boy was a short child with long ras hair that was tied into a ponytail. Her pink eyes with purple rings inside of them contrasted the dark circle around her eyes. She was wearing those cheap t-shirts for the sports festival while drinking an oversized cup with the same brand. Trying to appear as small as possible to hide under yet another UA branded hat.

The hero's gaze lingered on them, the two seemingly nervous in his presence as they presented their phones as an alternative ticket option to the computers. They flashed green, and the two rushed their walking pace to enter into the stadium. Those two had caught his attention, something in the back of his mind bugging him about those two. With how much they seemed to want to avoid him, perhaps they met him before and caught him in a bad mood.

That was very likely, so he accepted that answer and forgot about meeting them.

"That was close." Manami wiped her brow, adjusting her cap so that she would be less noticeable.

"Yeah." Izuku nodded in agreement.

'We could take him.'

"His quirk completely counters us." Izuku reminded the symbiote. "That's literally the one hero we don't want to fight."

'Even with our bond, your body has more resistance to flames.'

"People still burn."

'That's why they should be roasted, or grilled, or-'

"You two probably shouldn't be talking to one another while we're here." Manami warned them as they moved through the long hallways to try and find their seats. "We don't want to get caught."

"Is Danjuro going to be able to help out?" Izuku asked the girl as he shuffled past some seats to get to theirs.

"Unfortunately we can't get the drones too close to the stadium." Manami sighed as she took her seat. "That's why we ended up giving you a makeover."

'Bullshit, that was us. All she did was put powder on our face.'

"How come you're not wearing makeup?" The boy sat down, pulling out his phone as he waited for the sports festival to start.

"I'm the camera girl, my face isn't seen, only Danjuro's." She smiled proudly as she pulled out her own phone to message a certain someone. "Ok, now if only Hatsume would give us some more details about what's going to happen…"

'So, we just wait?' Venom questioned impatiently.

"And watch." Izuku motioned his head towards the arena. "There's going to be all sorts of unique quirks out there, and I didn't get a good look at some of the ones from USJ-"

'Fuck.'

His body tensed up, Izuku on full alert as Venom's own feelings were shared with him. Manami took notice, glancing over to him and incredibly concerned. "What's wrong?"

"One of Venom's siblings is here." The boy said in a low voice, ready to get up and-

"Hold on!" Manami pulled him back down. "We don't want to make a scene! Besides, what if this is what Hatsume was talking about? What if she's involved with it and why she blackmailed us to be here in case something goes wrong?"

Thinking it over, Izuku and Venom decided to sit tight until something was figured out. "Text her." He simply said. "We need to know if the plan involves Riot or not."

"I'll try." Manami typed in a few words sending it and hoping for a response.

'Screw that. If he makes a move, we are OUT of here.'

A phone vibrated in a bag, a mechanical tentacle reaching out into it, grabbing the device with its three metal claws and holding out to another similar tentacle. It's yellow light at the center briefly identified the message, examined it, determined it wasn't immediately concerning, and the arms placed the phone back into the bag. They hovered back to stay next to their creator, ready and willing to serve however they could yet again alongside their siblings.

The mad inventor herself stood in her navy blue sports uniform. Her arms holding all sorts of devices inside of a bag that she had tested at home several times over. Her classmates gave her a wide space, not daring to approach her as they kept to themselves as they should. Mei's focus, and now the focus of her four metallic appendages, were on her teacher Power Loader.

"Hatsume…" The man watched as the limbs moved seemingly on their own. "What did you do?"

"Evolved." The girl smiled, one of her arms moving in front of its mother to receive a stroke of affection. "You said that I could participate in the festival so long as I don't use any of the creations at the support studio. You even suspended me long enough to not even be allowed inside the cauldron of cheaply reused ideas. So, I made my best babies yet at home."

"It was for your own good." Power Loader attempted to scold her, but recoiled as her new arms snapped in the air with aggression. They mirrored their creator's emotions perfectly despite not having any faces themselves. "If I didn't take action then and there you could have very well found yourself locked up and banned from any-"

"I get it." She suddenly shrugged, appearing sympathetic. "You didn't fight the true issue, you wanted a momentary fix to set things to where they were before."

"That's not what's happening." He cautiously gauged the reactions of the tentacles. "More importantly, there's the matter of what these are. They're not against the rules, but what the hell did you do to yourself?"

"I was quirkless and powerless." Mei turned around, her mechanical arms reaching into the bag and equipping themselves with attachments. "The world has stalled because it has connected those two as if they were the same. But I'm going to prove them all wrong, how they've become weak themselves by relying solely on their quirks."

One arm came out, an array of needles along its claws. Another flexed a larger pair of metal prongs, while two others held funnels of different types connected to canisters.

Mei smiled as she reached out her hands to her sides, two of her tentacles clasping on simple armor with power supplies and temperature regulation. Finally, one of them reached up, placing a new pair of dark round goggles over the inventor's head. They lit up with yellow crosshairs, the same as her fake quirk from before.

"You can do whatever you want after this." Mei marched away from her teacher. "Because no matter what you choose, it won't change what's about to happen."

By some grace, Shinso was allowed a bow and some arrows. After speaking with their teacher, an underground hero about not wanting to reveal his quirk to the world, the man was unusually compliant in his plea.

Twisting the last arrow head onto a shaft, Shinso deposited it into his quiver. Of course, he was only able to use fifteen arrows per event/round. At least he got help from his new future underground hero.

"So what hero name are you thinking of?" Momo asked casually as she watched the class out of the corner of her eye. "Obviously it won't be something to do with your quirk."

"I was thinking of Trickshot." The purple headed teen admitted, folding up his bow and placing it on his back. "References the bow, and if you actually know my quirk you'd get the trick part."

"Hmm, not bad." The ravenette hummed with a finger on her chin. "But it could be improved."

"Oh?" He smirked at her. "So tell me miss trained by super spies by your elite family, what name would you have picked for me?"

"Hawkeye." She said while turning fully to him. "It makes them think your quirk has something to do with sight."

"Trickshot makes them think it has something to do with shooting a bow." He countered. "Alright, I think we trashed enough on my choice. What about yours?"

"Black Widow."

Shinso stared at her, somewhat dumbfounded as to how she came to that name. "...Why?"

"Hey you two." Kirishima approached, standing tall and confident as he smiled innocently towards them. "What are you guys talking about?"

"Just some hero names." Shinso shrugged. "Speaking of which, have you thought about yours?"

"Let me guess." Momo chuckled at the thought. "Riot Shield."

The red haired boy just laughed it off. "That's a good one, maybe I'll use it."

The Archer just hummed to himself, standing up from the bench and doing a couple of stretches. "I thought you would pick Captain Crimson, like the myth about the soldier in the quirk uprising."

"Oh." The ravenette snapped her fingers. "That actually fits much better."

Kirishima didn't respond immediately, just gazing off into the corner of the room for a moment to himself. "Yeah, maybe I should pick the name back up."

"Shame you couldn't use your shield." Shinso shrugged, seeing a particular girl with ear jacks move in the corner of his vision.

"I honestly didn't think we'd be allowed." Kirishima admitted. "But don't think I can't fight without it."

"We know." Momo rolled her eyes. "You may be ahead of the class in hand to hand combat for now, but you'd still have to deal with the heavy hitters."

All three knew what she meant. While there was a Big Three of the upperclassmen, they had identified their own.

Kaminari, the boy who could fight the zero pointer barehanded, fly, summon an unstoppable hammer, and fill the air with lightning.

Bakugo, someone who could detonate the arena if they wanted with everyone blown away. Those silver tendrils he commanded, blades created from his body in an instant, undeniable strength, speed, and even regeneration.

Finally, Todoroki, a boy who could freeze everything in an instant with precision unmatched, ending a fight before it could even start.

"I could beat them." Shinso confidently began to walk towards someone he was meaning to have a chat with.

"With what, a knock knock joke?" Momo playfully asked.

"You'll be laughing, I guarantee it." With those final words, he tracked down Jiro who was pacing with her phone in her hands.

He attempted to peek over to her screen for a moment, but she was holding it very close to herself. Only a couple ideas on what that could be came to his mind, one of which he was going to bet on.

"Hey."

She flinched, locking her phone and putting it away. "Need something?"

The purple headed boy sighed, glancing around to make sure nobody was listening in. "Look, a lot has changed since USJ, and even All Might said things were being handled about…you know who."

She just nodded, folding her arms as she listened.

"So." He continued. "I don't really know what to think of him anymore, but it's obvious you're close to him in some way."

"What's your point?" Jiro directly asked.

"You don't have to worry about me putting an arrow in his back." Shinso walked away, but not before leaving a few more words. "However, I won't let another Kamui Woods happen."

Jiro stood there, left alone with that warning. She had been, giving Izuku some space after being all…yandere from all the lack of caffeine mixed with sleep deprivation. But All Might had recently bugged her about Izuku's progress on capturing Stain.

So many people were willing to help him, herself most of all, but he just keeps going through so much so she decided to give him some breathing time. Briefly she thought about inviting him to see the sports festival, but that might come across as a little clingy so she could 'show off' her moves to him.

Ugh, when did everything become so complicated?

"HELLO EVERYONE! COULD I GET A HEEEY?"

Present Mic's voice came over the speakers, and while it was loud it wasn't at a frequency that was harmful to them.

"That makes two heroes we don't want to mess with here." Izuku noted to himself.

'we'd rather deal with fire than that guy.'

"We should probably make you a proper suit." Manami mentioned to the boy. "Something fire and sound resistant."

'That would suffocate us!'

"Don't be dramatic." Izuku scolded Venom before turning to the smaller woman. "While that sounds good, it would really limit our abilities."

"You can already use your strength speed and senses as is right?" She questioned, earning a nod in responde. "Then all its preventing is your tendrils. You've already been using less of those and more web like attacks. Just a shift in your fighting style and you'd be fine."

The boy considered the idea, imagining wearing an actual costume that they could still move around in. If they wanted to, Venom could cover over the outfit and they could use their full arsenal. If there was fire or painful sounds, they could retreat into the costume and still be able to fight.

"Hey you two." A voice interrupted from their right.

Both Izuku and Manami turned over to see a random teen with a box full of treats.

"You want to buy anything?"

Fighting the urge to lunge over and steal all of the snacks, Izuku instead reached into his pocket ready to-

"Stop." Manami held his arm, preventing Izuku from grabbing all of the cash he had. "Spending too much will get too much attention."

'The walking gift shop is telling us not to spend money.'

Meeting the middle ground, Izuku pulled out a large but humble sum of money and held it out to the man.

"Give us as much chocolate as this can buy. Then hotdogs if there's any left over."

The boy happily complied, making a large sale right at the beginning giving him a business high. "Sure thing! You're a really kind brother to buy all of that for your little sister."

"Little sister?!" Manami shot up, standing on her chair and grabbing his shirt. "I'm older than him! An adult!"

'Look who's getting too much attention now?'

"And now for the student pledge!" Midnight announced from her podium.

Finally turning their heads to where they should be, Izuku quickly identified several people in the crowd. First, Jiro, who stood alongside her classmates. Near her were the two others from USJ. Shinso with a bow on his person, and the girl who had a flame thrower aimed at him at one point. In the class next to them, he saw the silver haired girl Yanagi herself who seemed just as…her as usual. As for who they originally here for, the pink head of hair separated from the hero students was easy to pick out. Izuku had only met her once, doing a quick drop off with Manami to an old boathouse loaded with tech that was cobbled together. The arms on her back were new, always moving, observing, and ready to act. One of them he saw briefly snap their direction, the yellow lights in the center consuming their personage.

Though the presence of all of them seemed to diminish compared to the one body that came forward to the microphone. Their blood locked in place, Bakugo stepping up to speak to everyone who was watching. His posture was lazy, slouched forward with his hands in his pockets, his eyes casually looking over the ocean of faces surrounding him.

That was until he saw him, Bakugo completely changing before everyone as he glared ahead with fierce determination. Everyone awaited as the atmosphere changed in the arena, one person demanding their attention.

One sentence, one phrase from the determined blond.

"We're coming for you."

"Riot/Riot" Both Izuku and Venom spoke at the same time, narrowing their eyes at the symbiote and its personal host.

'He's a control freak, but got stuck in the one body that would keep him in line.'

"Why though?" Izuku pondered. "Why couldn't he wait for a compatible host?"

'That's hard to come by, especially with quirks being a whole different factor. In any case, it's better than being probed at that lab in the country of grease, fats, sugar, and the glory of the second amendment.'

"We don't even need guns."

'They're still cool as shit.'

Izuku leaned back, trying to relax that knowing the most stubborn person in the world has the most deadly symbiote on the planet under his thumb. But now he began to wonder how he even managed to obtain Riot. Wasn't he supposed the most guarded one in America? It didn't ease his mind, thinking that the secure facility would leak even more aliens into society.

'Let's just hope that quirks really aren't compatible with us.'

"Venom, if you have a concern please tell me."

Manami poked his side, getting the two's attention. "You really need to work on talking in public."

"On your marks!"

Crap, they got distracted again. The giant screen with several different cameras told them everything they needed to know. A map was displayed with a track, different sections highlighted and dotted with mini pictures of what they held.

"GO!"

He couldn't help but want to jump in himself. The thought of rushing through an array of challenges rose his heartrate. Just imagining what it would be like to have so many people around filled with adrenaline, some of the beefier, meatier, juicier-

"Where's your friend?" Mananmi tugged his shirt, Izuku searching the crowded hallway that the students were trying to push their way through.

His eyes couldn't find where she actually was, but one camera had a good enough angle. "There." He pointed at the screen, her jacks doing their best to jab everyone around her to get some room.

It was chaos, Jiro's body being pushed against her will between them all. Ice rushed across the ground, freezing many of them in place.

"Not again!" Krishima cried, swinging his fists against the cold to break himself free.

Todoroki rushed ahead, attempting to take advantage of the moment and charge ahead.

*BOOM*

Bakugo detonated his palms, launching above the crowd as a silver tendril latched onto the exit. He zoomed ahead above the people under him, soon joined by two other grapple devices.

Momo had created a simple device to mirror Shinso, who used a grapple arrow to get a significant lead compared to the others.

"Oi! No copying me!" The explosive boy shouted.

*CLINK*

All of them were interrupted by the sound of metal clinging against the ceiling of the tunnel. Hatsume was grinning, her four arms carrying her above the frozen individuals as they rushed ahead.

"I really wish I got permission to use my hammer!" Kaminari whined as he did his best to plow through the crowd without severely hurting them.

*BANG*

A zero pointer came forward, then two, then five more. An army of robots surrounding the robotic feet. Before anyone could enact a plan, Todoroki flung his right arm in an upwards motion, encasing two fifths of the robots in ice. He began to run ahead, the colossal machines beginning to fall in their unbalanced state. But, before he could get too far ahead, something latched onto his foot.

"CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESSES PEPPERMINT!" Bakugo rushed past, leaving Todoroki stuck with a glob of silver latching him to the ground. The scarred teen wasn't sure if Bakugo knew about his other half or not, but the fact was it was his left foot trapped in the web like substance.

Using what precision he could, he instantly froze it, hoping that now it would break from the sudden change in temperature.

It didn't.

The zero pointers that he intentionally froze to sabotage the other students, were going to fall right on top of him.

"Hang on man!" Kaminari ran up, holding up his arms and bracing to try and catch the several tons that were heading right for them.

He could get out, if he used his other half he could melt the ice and retake the lead. The electric blond grunted, the plating bending around them as the two were trapped in a pocket of metal.

There was no way to freeze himself out. The only option he had was to rely on someone else. This was supposed to be the day he would prove absolutely he didn't need his father's half to be the best. Yet, as time continued to pass, Kaminari unable to lift higher than he already was, the temptation became unbearable.

*SCREEE*

Something was tearing its way to them, ripping the metal apart and heading straight towards them. The first sign of light he got was a claw bursting into their cage, the center staring at him for a second before three other ripped open a hole wide enough for a girl to step forward, her goggles glowing alongside the tentacles.

"Can't have you failing here." She smirked devily at him. "You're an important asset to my plans."

Bakugo was soaring, speedily making his way to the next obstacle, which was arguably the easiest for someone like him. Throwing his hand forward, he mentally commanded the symbiote to latch onto the pillar of stone as he jumped above the pit.

'You really think you can save that boy?'

He said nothing, using his other arm to instantly build momentum and swing to the other side.

'You were the one who was trying to convince him to kill himself.'

Landing on his feet, he bursted into a sprint while using even more explosions to get to the final part of the race.

'Yet somehow you convinced yourself it was for his own good, that he should toughen up and stand up to you in order to take his first steps to being a hero.'

Something was announced about a minefield, a stretch of dirt with small parts of it littered with soft ground.

'Yet anytime he did, you became enraged and beat him down physically and mentally. Enraged by the idea that someone so weak thinking they were tough enough to go toe to toe with you.'

Slowing down, he made his way through the littered field, making sure not to step on any of the mines in case the frequency of the explosion set them off.

'You are a hypocrite, a coward, and certainly not a hero.'

"Shut up." Bakugo placed one of his palms against his arm, igniting a few smaller explosions to try and push the symbiote back into its place. He didn't feel a reaction from Riot this time, the living slime continuing to crowd his thoughts with its own.

'Somehow, you think that you can fix it all if you can save Midoriya from Venom. Yet we both know that he's not a puppet for the weakest of our species. You knew the moment you saw him at the gas station, when he was rescued by Mysterio, everytime you record any movement of him on the news you knew that he had accepted Venom.'

"I said SHUT UP!" Bakugo didn't care at his point, only twenty feet from the final stretch he rammed his foot onto a mine. It went off, enveloping Bakugo in a nonlethal blast. Of course, this was the guy who was made to use explosions, so it didn't hurt him. It should have gotten something out of Riot, but the symbiote brushed it off again.

'They are bonded, permanently. Your path to redemption has been gone for months.'

Bakugo could hear the other approaching, reaching the minefield itself now. He still had a considerable lead but he needed to get his pace back up if he wanted to land first place. Electing to ignore the symbiote completely, he began to sprint towards the tunnel.

'Venom is a lost cause, but I will retrieve my siblings, and we will conquer your pitiful planet. I admit it won't be one of our easiest worlds with your high density meta gene population, but we build a tolerance.'

Feeling the symbiote move through him, he tried to detonate one of his palms to get Riot back under control. But this time, his quirk didn't go off. All his aggression, fear, and a new spike of adrenaline rushing through him as he saw his arm move on its own, Riot making explosions in his own hand, testing its new control over its host.

'We adapt.'

His legs moved faster and faster, Bakugo rushing into the last couple of feet of the race.

'We evolve.'

"AND WINNING THE FIRST EVENT IS THE FACE OF OUR FIRST YEARS! BAKUGO KATSUKI!"

He finally stopped running, Bakugo unable to slow down his breathing as his face grinned against his own will.

"We take what makes you special, and make it our own." The symbiote flexed Bakugo's arms, silver liquid flowing out of his flesh and coating the limbs to make them bigger, stronger, deadlier.

In a roar of victory, Riot threw his arms towards the sky, sending out two massive explosions in a display of power. The crowd, unknowingly celebrating the victory of their invader.

This story is not dead, I just wanted to wrap up one of my other ones before resuming my collection. I have three other stories that are now starting at the sports festival, so I'm going to update them alongside each other for this arc. That's four stories I'm writing, plus a different one, and potentially another one on top of work, school, gyms, and dating.

It is now shown that the symbiotes can copy the traits of their host, but they need to find a compatible one and slowly adapt to the quirk. I nerfed this ability because we all know that if a symbiote could copy quirks they would hop from one person to the next and have a collection of powers bigger than All for One's.

54godamora: I didn't say that. If someone starts reading this story and Himiko's name isn't in the tags despite being a big part of the story they're going to know she gets killed off.

TyTylerBarela100: I've never read a good fanfic that featured a harem.

SonicMax: This fiction is pretty much how far can I push Izuku into depression while still having a good story. Which is pretty much every other spiderman story.

Death Fury: The best two I can think of are either Tetsutetsu, or Shishida. I considered Kamakiri but his physical appearance takes away from Logan too much.

Planar-Walking-Entertainment: While I've had plenty of time now to plan for our own Iron Man, Iron Maiden, or Iron Heart and Hulk, I don't think they'll be incorporated into the story until the final parts.

Han-Daewi: Trust me, Izuku hasn't gotten through half of it yet.

Guest: Corporations trying to control a species will always take the higher ground, no matter how muddy it is.

BatzelChaos: Yeah, I mean, he is doing his best to tip toe around the fact that the country's most infamous child knows where he lives.

Darraiter: There is still plenty of demand for Izuku to be put behind bars, but the whole point of Mysterio is to try and give the people an eye catching story that will make them sympathetic to their cause. After all, we see that happen in our life day to day where someone commits some pretty bad stuff but still get a good amount of people to stand behind them because the criminal was pushed into a corner so to speak.

AR-10-S3: Because instead of Parker luck, Izuku has his own string of bad luck. But to clarify, I do not write harem stories. I hate them.

Wooper: Yeah, that's one way to see it.

Musical Dragon Rider: I wouldn't go that far to say she's the best character, or even an important one in the MHA universe. All that's seen is some of her personality, and her appearance. That's it. Part of the reason why I think writers are taking her all sorts of directions is because she pretty much has a blank canvas for story telling.

Culaio: I have nerfed that particular power in this story because it would be OP in the MHA universe. Everyone here pretty much has a superpower, so if a symbiote got loose they could simply hop from one person to another collecting more quirks than All for One has.

FShield96: I was going to make her hobgoblin, but the thought of someone that small using a pair of wings and zooming around was too good to pass up.

Imperial Stormtrooper: Here you are.
