Letters to Remus and Sirius

November 1972

Dear Em,

Thank you for the latest delivery - Sirius managed to get into my secret stash again and I was in desperate need of more chocolate. He has decided he quite likes those teacakes you keep sending me, so I'm going to have to find a new hiding place, lest he eats them all again.

Mum's doing much better, but they reckon she might've passed that bug onto me. Been feeling a bit ill the last week, so don't be surprised if my next reply takes a while to get to you - I might have my head in the toilet.

School is ok so far. James and Sirius keep fighting with this other kid, Snape. I think James is trying to show off to Lily, but she's having none of it and neither are her friends. Cass caught the wrong end of one of Sirius' pranks and her hair turned green (picture enclosed) - I've never seen her so angry, so maybe that'll stop them from pranking anyone else for awhile…or not.

Your dearest friend,

Remus

P.S - I'm halfway through 'Emma'.

December 1972

To Withers,

Send more teacakes. Remus has decided to hide and stash away your latest delivery - I think he may be more squirrel than boy.

He also said you gave him that girly book he keeps reading under his covers when he thinks we're all asleep. Do you know what books might impress a girl? I'm this close to getting Marlie to snog me.

Don't worry about Remus - he's been ill like this before and we kept an eye on him fine, promise.

In desperate need of teacakes,

Siri

March 1973

Dear Remy,

Sirius says you were ill again last week. He thinks you might be better friends with the toilets then him and James. I'm not surprised - Sirius is annoying. Can you get him to stop begging me for teacakes, mum's getting worried about how many I'm eating. I haven't told her yet that I've been getting Bernie to fly them to you.

Can you also tell that sister of mine to reply to my letters or else! I don't care about her studying priorities, family comes first!

Have you got to the part with piano yet? You're such a slow reader!

Yours,

Em

P.S - I would keep an eye on Marlie, Sirius keeps writing about how close he is to snogging her. I fear he may be closer to getting kicked in the balls instead.
