In an alternate universe, Summer lives and finds Cinder in Atlas. She decided to bring her back to Patch. Due to her traumatic past, Cinder is hesitant to trust the family, but after a close brush with death, she opens up to them and is eventually adopted by the loving family. After a few years of training, she heads off to Beacon to train to become a huntress!

Artur Arc wanted nothing more than to grow up and take his father's place as Duke. Alice Barlow wanted nothing more than to have a nice, simple thirty-second birthday alone in her apartment, away from the bustle of New York. Fate, it seemed, wanted neither of these things.
