What's your name (real or screen, your choice)

Matias, although that's a name I rarely hear outside of the family circle. Among friends I'm known as Firnen (Firn) or Xman (reaaaally old friends)

Tell me about yourself, age, where you're from, what you do, anything you want others to know about you, sex, etc.

Let's see… male, 26 years old (26?... yeah 26). I'm from Argentina. Studying to become an architect. I… don't know what others might want to know about me, they are free to ask whatever they want though.

What brought you to the Zootopia fandom?

The short answer is DeviantArt's Algorithm.

Who is your OC today?

Felix Illarion Roux Nash. Firn or Firnen for short. Nicknamed Mirror for reasons.

What animal are they?

South American Gray Fox. Lycalopex griseus.

What do they look like? Special markings, colorations, etc.

Small adult fox (specific age might vary), around 3.5ft (though I'm not sure if that would be small, average or big in comparison to other foxes of the same species). He has a predominant gray ash fur, an even lighter gray, almost white, on the front and in a few areas near the dark orange fur that covers his paws, the top of his snout and the point of his ears. He has a tiny, mostly imperceptible, scar to the left of his left eye. Speaking of the eyes, his is a combination of red, orange, yellow, and black, maybe fire eyes would be an accurate way to call them.

What inspired you to create them?

Inspiration? I don't have a clear answer for that. As my first OC, his creation was a complete chaos. He was born from a RP, just as an undefined fox named Firnen and evolved from there, making use of everything that was thrown in his direction. At some point, I took all that chaos and filtered it into what he is nowadays.

So this interview is probably one of the hardest for me because I actually got to be there and influence some of Felix's characteristics. So I guess the first question is how or what got you started in the role play that Felix became a permanent figure in?

I find it difficult to pinpoint the exact reason or circumstances, I barely remember the first time he appeared. If I had to guess... either out of curiosity, boredom, or both. From there, it became a game to see how to adapt everything that was thrown in his path and see how others will adapt to his actions. The fact that I was surrounded by people with crazy and different ideas made it a lot more interesting and fun.

What were some of the ways you adapted?

If I remember right, one of the first, and probably the most significant, was a RP scene where he traded a kiwi for a mirror... and you know how that ended hehe. I can name a few other changes, though those depended on the kind of story he was in, like having a giant spider pet, having 10000 clones, or becoming an un-... I think that would count as a spoiler.

What are they like?

A few of his characteristics depend on the story he is in. But his personality tends to be always the same.

Calm and collected, but a little mischievous and crazy from time to time. Most of the time he won't be the one to start a conversation unless it's about something he considers important. He prefers to not be involved in trouble and will always try to de-escalate any situation with humor (though not necessarily the best of humor). But he can be serious when he needs to be and very protective of those he cares about. As someone else said, he has a magical ability to resolve problems, always finding a creative and unexpected solution to most of them. Loves magic tricks and capes (dark green ones). As a funny fact, it's rather common to find him sleeping on couches, either on top of them or under.

What's their family life like?

I'm not really sure. In most of the scenarios he has been his family is no longer around. If I have to guess he will chill around those he considers family and help them whenever they need it.

Do they have a love interest?

The last time I checked no, but I'm not sure what he has been up to lately.

Do you have any stories written about them or that they're included in?

The keyword is "written". I wrote the beginning of a story but despite having the whole plot in my head I'm too lazy to finish it. That aside, he's a secondary character in LTR if I remember correctly.

So there were plenty of shenanigans going on in the RP. What did you think when the RP transitioned into a published story?

I thought it was really cool. The shenanigans in the RP, as ridiculous as they were, were meant to make people laugh, and incorporating them into a published story meant that it could reach more people.

How big of a role do you like to see culture have in stories?

I like to see different cultures as a part of a story, either if they are a creation for it or a representation/adaptation of a real culture. Culture can be part of the main plot or just part of the world-building of the story, I'm fine with either as long as it serves a purpose in the story.

Ultimate Zootopia question. Are you a WildeHopps shipper or do you prefer them with a different ship?

WildeHopps shipper till the end.

For the purpose of the OC interview the setting is the creator's OC is about to be interviewed by my co-owned OC Vicky Chola. A north american grey fox vixen in her mid 20s. They're both in a studio booth with headphones on and microphones to speak into. The interview we did earlier about the creator and their OC is considered a pre conversation between these two before going on the air. Vicky will ask questions based on the answers provided by the creator. Enjoy!

"Welcome everyone to another edition of the Characters of Zootopia show! I'm your host Vicky Chola and with me today is Felix Nash, also known to me as Uncle Firn. I'm so excited to have you on the show today!"

"Glad to be here, it's been a long time since I last saw you little light."

giggle "I know, you need to pop in more often."

"I totally would, if I didn't have nearly ten thousand problems to watch over." coughs "So how have you been? It looks like you have been doing well for yourself here."

"It's a good start. I got really lucky when they picked me to do this. I'm really grateful for the chance and it's been a lot of fun so far. But why don't you tell everyone how you got to be uncle Firn."

"Maybe we should ask your parents why they allowed it." chuckles "Not everyone lets a crazy magic fox get involved with their family."

"That's a good point. Mom's going to come on eventually, maybe I'll ask her then. I do remember when you were teaching me a few tips and tricks one time, I asked dad how you came to be a part of our family. He said he and uncle Frank were moving a couch one day and you just fell out."

"Oh, right! My memory was never the best and it's getting worse with the age. Anyways, I think it was around twenty or thirty years ago? I sensed that an interesting event was about to take place, but I didn't know exactly when or in which universe. So, I started jumping from one to another and... somehow ended asleep on that couch. Till this day I have no clue how that happened."

"Oh, we should probably let everyone know this. You are an actual sorcerer. Not a magician right?"

"Yes, I think that's relevant information, otherwise all I say would sound like nonsense to them hehe. And yes, you're correct. I'm a sorcerer specialized in magic of shadows and illusions."

"So do all sorcerer's have specialties?"

"I think it depends on the sorcerer. Some are considered 'jacks of all trades', controlling all kinds of magic to a certain degree. Others practice and become really good at controlling one or two, and become known due to the creative ways they use it."

"Can you tell us some of the different specialties sorcerers can choose from?"

"Where to start? Some sorcerers specialize in protection magic, these individuals are able to create any kind of barrier. Others manipulate magic energy to create something out of nothing, like rain, lightning bolts, or wind. Though for some reason most of them prefer to create fireballs. A few choose to learn the art of divination and become good at finding stuff and predicting the future. I think I saw a few of those in this world, but I doubt their abilities."

"What's it like training to be a sorcerer?"

"A lot of trial and error, getting 'unexpected' results more often than not. Some will say that's because magic is wild and unpredictable, but they are only half right. After enough practice, you start to realize that it isn't as unpredictable as it seems."

"How's that?"

"It's more about understanding your mind than understanding magic itself. If you can clearly and precisely visualize what you want to do, you probably can do it. But the minor distraction or doubt can give you a different result. Fail enough times and you will learn how magic will react. Know your mind and you will control magic."

"Can you tell us more about your specialty?"

"My domain in magic involves the creation and manipulation of shadows and illusions. I also have a special affinity with mirrors. If I remember correctly, due to my creative use of them, I got nicknamed 'Mirrow' by an archer friend of mine back in my world. It wasn't the best of nicknames, but considering that he called himself 'Arrow' I can't complain."

"Now that being said, where are you really from?"

"The exact place where I was born was lost in time. I know that the lands currently form part of what their inhabitants call the Kingdom of Khui. In the universe UNKS-03... or was it ND-00? ...meh, I will remember it later."

"Needless to say you're not from around here are you?"

"Yeah, not even close." chuckles "There are some similarities, but if you want to get a better idea we would have to go back to the times of armored knights and kingdoms."

"I think we'll stay here where air conditioning exists. So what do you do here?"

"Well, since I've already intruded on the events of this world, which I don't regret, I decided to stay to make sure everything goes smoothly. I usually just solve some problems caused by them or travel around to pass the time, waiting that a certain someone makes up her mind to start training her skills."

clears throat "Right, well on that note, I think that's all the time we have for today. Thanks for joining today!"

Chuckles "My pleasure. Oh, just so you know if you see 'me' around in the near future give me a call. You know what I mean."

giggles "I'll remember that. And thank you listeners for joining us again. We hope to see you in the future."
