That explains the situation right now, it was a room of white wall and floor with nothing around it. One person wakes up from his slumber which to be Kudou Shinichi. As he wakes up, he was surprised to see that his hand was handcuffed to someone which to be his childhood friend, Ran
"Ran! Wake up, Ran!" shout Shinichi
"Uhm… Shinichi…" said Ran as she wakes up
"Ran… eh"
Shinichi look at Ran's other hand that was handcuffed to someone else which to be his little brother, Conan
"Oi Conan! Wake up, Conan!"
Conan seems to struggle to wake up which make the high schooler worried while Ran trying to wake up someone right beside Conan which to be his father, Mouri Kogoro. Suddenly Shinichi found a letter on the side of the room but he can't move due to Ran being handcuffed to him and Conan too
"Ran, take Conan with you. I want to go on that side" said Shinichi
"Eh... ah okay"
Ran quickly hold the unconscious boy so three of them goes to that side. Shinichi quickly take the letter on the wall and read it
"Beloved Shinichi-sama,
I'm your fan.
I have been following your achievements.
You're a wonderful detective.
This white room is a present for you.
Please enjoy yourself"
Shinichi got angry and threw the letter on the ground in anger. Ran seems confused by all of this and she looked to the sleeping boy
"Shinichi… what is going on?" asked Ran worried
"I don't know… the one thing for sure is that someone is holding us prisoner" said Shinichi as he looked around the room
"Who… And for what reason?"
"I don't know but-"
Suddenly they heard a groan from Kogoro. Ran quickly goes to him in worried. Kogoro wakes up and surprise on where they are now. Ran quickly explains the situation but then Kogoro start to get mad at Shinichi for making him and Ran get involved with his enemies. Moments later, three of them look down to Ran's arms which to be the little boy waking up slowly as he rubbed his eyes. He then realizes where is he and the position of his hands and Ran holding him in her arms
"What? what? what is going on?! Why am I handcuffed?! And why Ran-neechan holding me in this position!" shout Conan looking around
This time, Shinichi is the one who explain to the boy and Conan who have been in Ran's arms just sigh
"You got to be kidding me… So we basically stuck here and I have to be in Ran-neechan arms for the rest of the day… just great" said Conan unhappy
"We have no choice, sorry Conan-kun" said Ran giggle
"Hahaha…" laugh Shinichi
Suddenly a loud noise coming out from the ceiling like a bomb. All of them bend down in surprised until suddenly a miniature of a plane appear on the side of the room with the monitor right beside the miniature. As they got closer, under the miniature, there's a plane ticket with Conan's name on it
"This ticket says SKY-J 865" said Kogoro as he sees it closely
"SKY-J 865… Oi oi you don't think!" said Conan realizes it
"Ahh… that murder case on the plane… which almost kill us all" said Shinichi serious
Two months ago
Ran, Sonoko, Kogoro, Professor Agasa and Detective boys are now at the airport with the actors of the play
"You've shown us too much kindness. Even going as far as inviting us to attend the post performance celebration party" said Kogoro thanking the actors
"It was thanks to everyone that the gemstone is safe" said Yaguchi
"That's right, rather than dwelling on that, let's enjoy Hakodate" said Narusawa
"You know, Juri sure is late..." said Ban as he looked around
"Ah Juri is having her make up done with Natsuki in the car" said Yaguchi
"Speaking of late… oi Ran, that glasses brat hasn't arrived yet?" asked Kogoro
"I know right…" said Ran worried
Moments later, Conan arrives with someone beside him who also wearing a backpack just like Conan. Of course, Ran know immediately who is it
"Shinichi!" shout Ran surprised
"Ahh detective brat! What are you doing here?" shout Kogoro
"Conan invite me to come along since I already recovered from my cold few days ago. Conan said that he already informed Juri-san about it" said Shinichi looking at his little brother
"Is it really Shinichi? What if he-" said Ran but interrupted by Conan
"Don't worry, he's the real one" said Conan smiling
"Ah I heard from Conan that phantom thief tried to disguise as me" said Shinichi unhappy
"Luckily Conan and his friends realize it quickly" said Ran smiling
The actors start to get confused by the sudden appearance of someone that they never met before
"Ahh who is this?" asked Yaguchi confused
"Sorry my late introduction. My name is Kudou Shinichi, high school detective. Don't worry, I'm not the phantom thief like at that day in the play. Conan can confirm my identity" said Shinichi
"I see… nice meeting you Kudou-kun" said Ban while shaking hands with him
Moments later, Juri arrive with Natsuki beside her. Of course everyone scolds her for being late and Kogoro ask why only them for the celebration party and not include the other extras which Juri just say that there's no need to invite extras to the party. As Juri said that, Conan suddenly feel a murder lust
"Conan?" asked Shinichi surprised
"Eh ah no… just my imagination I think" said Conan in low voice
Time Skip~
In the plane
Shinichi sit right beside both Ran and Sonoko while Kogoro sit by himself behind. All of them are taking the first class cabin. The three childhood friends talk together about the last Kid heist
"Eh?! the brat had a sky race with Kid-sama?!" said Sonoko surprised
"Really Shinichi?" asked Ran
"Yeah, Haibara-san told me about it that he fight with the phantom thief on the roof and the next thing, he was already on the roof of the train" said Shinichi in bored look
"But how? Did he have a hang glider like Kid?"
"No, he got a paraglider. He wear a bag that time right"
"Now that you mention it… he did wears the bag all the time. When his friends ask him, he just said something important"
"Those two and their rivalry really scares me" said Sonoko bitter laugh
"You have no idea…" said Shinichi as he looked at Conan who's talking with Haibara
***For the continuation, it's exactly the same as the Movie so I don't need to write it down again so I'm skipping to the Case***
Suddenly Juri shout in pain after eating the chocolate. Seconds later, she stops moving and become limp. Shinichi quickly check on her along with Conan and they smell an almond scent which hint to be Cyanide poisoning.
Few moments later
Juri already positioned in her seat and put on a blanket on her. Both Kogoro and Eri already trying to find the poison which almost all of them point toward Yaguchi's chocolate. The brothers on the other hand are pulling their heads together and Shinichi bend down to Conan's size
"Still putting the poison on the chocolate seems to be a big gamble since we don't know which one is poisoned. If it is like that, shouldn't be Occhan who got it?" asked Conan serious
"Yeah… there's a lot of times other people get close to Juri-san" said Shinichi
"All of them are practically suspects"
Suddenly they heard Mitsuhiko scolding Genta for eating
"How can you eat at a time like this?" asked Mitsuhiko scolding Genta
"Because it all go to waste otherwise" said Genta smiling as he's eating
Genta quickly eat the rest of the snack and lick his fingers which make both brothers realize how the poison is transferred. Both of them quickly wrack their brains on remembering who have contact with her
"Nee Niichan, if I remember correctly, when Juri-san went into the toilet, she came out rather quickly" said Conan
"Hm? But how did the poison administered to… the…"
Suddenly both of them look at each other surprised as they remember that Juri-san was not feeling well as the plane start. Both of them smirk achieving the truth which suddenly a shout can be heard from behind them
"Ahhh! Those two seem to have solved the case!" shout Sonoko
"Eh?" asked all of them in the cabin surprised
"Oi Sonoko!" said Shinichi
"Well Sonoko-neechan is not wrong… you did solve it" said Conan smiling
"Not me Conan, we did. Should we do it together?" said Shinichi as he stands up
"Okay okay…"
Shinichi quickly do his deduction with Conan this time to which they quickly apprehend the killer is Sakai Natsuki. Natsuki put poison into Juri's makeup, knowing that Juri would go to pop her ears in the bathroom when the plane took off, pinching her nose with two fingers. That way, the poison got onto her fingers and when Juri licked them after eating chocolate, she ingested the poison and died. Natsuki tearfully confesses, saying she had enough of Juri making her to be Juri's personal assistant which make her can't go abroad for her Hollywood make up opportunity. Just as the case close, Suddenly Conan remembered that Juri went to the cockpit to meet the both pilot and co-pilot and quickly alarmed Shinichi. Both brothers quickly dash toward the cockpit and happen to see one of the attendant about to go in the cockpit
They see the cockpit and surprise to see both pilot and co-pilot are in pain due to the poison. All of them panic until suddenly the pilot lost consciousness and rest his head to the handle which make the plane to dive from the sky due to the autopilot has been disengaged. Shinichi ask the attendant to move away, Shinichi quickly pull the pilot away from the control handle but he can't take the control handle for the flight
"Conan! Take the control handle and pull it" shout Shinichi
"Eh? me?!" shout Conan while holding on to the door
"Just hurry!"
Conan run quickly to where Shinichi and jump to the pilot's lap. He took the control handle and then pull it hard which make him scream due to the weight. Moments later, the plane stop falling and rebalanced. Shinichi quickly switch the autopilot so that Conan can stop controlling the plane
"Not bad you two" said Shinjou who come closer to both of them
"Shinjou-san" said both Shinichi and Conan
"Everything's all right now, call a doctor immediately"
"Got it!" said Kogoro serious
Moments later, the doctor arrives and examine both pilot and co-pilot and he asks to move both of them to the passenger cabin so that he can apply first aid. Kogoro ask for Narusawa and Ban to help move them. Shinjou take the communicator from both pilot and co-pilot and start contacting the mission control. Conan are now waiting for both pilot and co-pilot update on their condition
"Nee Conan-kun, why did the both of them also got poison?" asked Sonoko
"Earlier, Juri-san entered the cockpit. At that time, both of them took Juri-san's hand and kissed it" said Conan looking at his big brother and Kogoro gently take the pilot to the cabin
"I see, so that's when the poison that was on Juri-san's fingers transferred to them" said Professor Agasa understand the situation
Shinichi and Conan move closer to the cockpit and see that Shinjou already talking with the mission control. Kogoro told them that both pilot and co-pilot life is not threating but they can't operate the plane due to their state. Shinjou also told the mission control that he has experience with plane so he will be taking over the pilot
"So that's that. I will take over the pilot's seat, as for the co-pilot seat… Could I get you to take care of it?" asked Shinjou pointing at Conan
"Eh?" asked Conan surprised
"Your skill earlier was pretty impressive, I'm sure you have a lot of information about plane than I do"
"Oi wait, what are you-" said Shinichi both stop by Conan as he smirk to him
Shinichi was surprised until he nodded to him and Conan quickly act like a child and taking the co-pilot seat which of course make his friends jealous. Shinjou yell at them that it isn't a child's play which make all of them confused. Shinjou said that he needs him to assist him on controls for landing, Kogoro added in confused by choosing the glasses boy rather than the detective high schooler but Shinjou didn't answer and force them out. All of them are out except of course the high schooler. Shinjou can see how serious Shinichi is so he sigh
"Okay you can stay… I can't argue with the big brother after all" said Shinjou
"Thank you for the understanding" said Shinichi smirking
Shinjou quickly sit on the pilot's chair while Shinichi took the jump seat right behind the pilot. Shinichi and Conan both look at the controls and then to Shinjou again
"You're Kid right?" asked Shinichi smirking
"Hm? What do you mean?" asked Shinjou
"Stupid, drop the act already. In what world would there exist someone who let a grade schooler take the co-pilot's seat" said Conan with bored look
"You got me there, the real Shinjou is-" said Kid as his voice change to his usual one but interrupted by Conan
"Is now at Hakodate dressing up as Kaito Kid right?"
"As expected of Kid Killer, you read me by book"
"Okay okay both of you, continue your rivalry later after we land this giant bird" said Shinichi behind who feel left behind
"Alright, let's do it" said Kid smirk
Time Skip~
After alarming the air traffic tower, they quickly do the procedures that they told them to do on the plane. Conan and Shinichi who know which button of it ease the phantom thief who's now controlling the plane
"Now we can relax for the moment" said Shinichi looking at the cockpit
"Can you handle operating the flaps and landing gear?" asked Kid to the brothers
"Yeah, my father taught him how to pilot a Cessna in Hawaii. I happen to be with them" said Conan smirking while pointing toward Shinichi
"I see, I guess I didn't pick the wrong person for the job after all"
"Don't get your hopes up Kid, that was all with the feet planted firmly on the ground. We never really flown for real" said Shinichi look at Conan with a serious smile
They start to get to descend about to arrive in Hakodate. It was scary due to the weather being so bad but Kid manage to get a hang and almost to land on the airport until suddenly a lightning hit the plane. The lightning cause power shut on the monitor. The control chief told them to turn the white knob next to the glare shield which make the monitor goes on. But Shinichi immediately told them that the autopilot is not engaged. Conan quickly told the chief which they told them to abort the landing, Kid tried his best to fly up the plane again but due to the strong wind which make him off course and the plane hit the tower. One of the engine's plane fall to the airport and causes fire all over the place but thank goodness that there are no injuries on the airport and tower. They have no choice to stabilize the plane and wait for the airport to cleared out
Moments later, Detective boys rush into the cockpit and told Conan that one of the engines fall but Conan immediately told them not to worry
"But it will be fine right?" asked Mitsuhiko worried
"We can still land safely using three engines that are left and we still have plenty of…"
Conan pause his words as he looked at the screen in shock, Shinichi quickly gets up and goes right beside his little brother
"What's wrong?" asked Shinichi serious
"We're almost out of fuel…" said Conan worried
"What?!" shout both Shinichi and Kid using Shinjou's voice
The news shock the three kids which immediately caught attention to the attendant, Ran and Sonoko who arrives to the cockpit. Shinichi look through the whole cockpit and notice that the cross-feed valve is open
"Conan, what is that cross-something?" asked Genta
"It's cross-feed valve, pressing that switch opens the valves that separate the tanks making it all one big tank" said Conan worried as he looks at Shinichi who quickly press the buttons up
"How did this happen?!" asked Shinichi angrily
Detective boys remember that Ban accidentally put his hand on up cockpit which maybe that's the cause of the switch to be open. Shinjou or Kid got angry and told both brothers that they have no time to lose. Conan ask Detective boys to get him a map while Shinichi took Conan's headphone and put it on his own as he and Shinjou tried to tell the tower about their situation. But the tower is not responding as if it's broken due to the lightning
"Damn! The autopilot, the runaway, the fuel and now even the radio communication are gone as well!" shout Shinjou in anger
"Eh?! did you say the autopilot is gone?!" shout Ran shock
"Then, you're piloting manually right now?!" shout Sonoko
All of them got scared by the news about the autopilot. Ayumi bring the map to Conan and he quickly looking for a place to land along with Detective boys. The adult and teenagers turn quiet by the Conan and Haibara's explanations on each suggestion where to land which they conclude to Sakimori Pier but then Shinjou look worried which Shinichi realize it
"It's impossible, Shinjou-san hurt his hand right" said Shinichi serious
"Eh?" asked all of them in the room
"Kudou's right. When we collide with the control tower earlier, I took a strong blow to my left arm.. I have been mostly controlling the plane using only my right hand ever since. If we want to land manually, I need both hands to hold the plane's control handle" said Shinjou looking at Conan with a small smile
All in the cockpit became worried until Shinjou look at Shinichi
"Kudou, did your father teach you on control handle?" asked Shinjou serious
"Yeah he did but we said it earlier that we have never flown before right which make not qualified" said Shinichi
"No, you passed indeed. Take over for me to land this giant bird"
"What?!"
Suddenly the plane fall due to no one controlling it which causes panic
"Niichan! Hurry and sit!" shout Conan serious
Shinichi quickly take over the pilot's seat and take the handle firmly and rebalanced the plane again. Conan quickly turn the bearing into 023 degrees to help Shinichi. Shinjou ask the attendant to announce that we're heading to Chitose Airport
"Also please transfer everyone on the second floor to the first floor"
"Eh why?" asked the attendant surprised
"If they discover a high schooler is piloting the plane, they may well panic. No matter how popular he is" said Shinjou while looking at Shinichi who's seriously looking at the sky
Shinjou or Kid also told the kids to go back to the cabin but Ran on the other hand didn't move
"I'm staying" said Ran serious
"Ran…" said Shinichi surprise as he heard her
"I can't let Shinichi and Conan-kun do this all by themselves"
Ran look serious too Shinjou as if no turning back which Shinjou give in to her of course. Ran then quickly sit on the jump seat and look to both brothers controlling the plane with Shinjou's help. Sonoko smile to her as she gets back to the cabin with the others. Moments later passed, they finally arrived to the destination of their landing
"I can see lights" said Ran looking forward
"That's Muroran Harbor! Sakimori Pier is more to the left on the other side of Hakucho Bridge!" said Conan as he looked around to find the pier
Just then realization comes to his mind the fact that it was too dark to see the land
"Oi it's too dark to see" said Shinichi start to get restless
"Wait, is that really where we're going to land?!" asked Ran panic as well
"What now… we can't turn back now" thought Conan thinking hard
"Can we do this, Conan-kun?"
Suddenly Shinjou or should we say, Kid presses some buttons up which surprise all of them in the cockpit
"What are you?!" shout Conan
"Looks pretty bad, so I'm bailing. Good luck!" said Shinjou as he walks out from the cockpit
"Hold on!" shout Ran panic
"Oi wait! Ran-neechan, take my place and put on the headphone" shout Conan as he take off his seatbelt
Conan jumps off the seat and walk out the cockpit. Shinichi look serious as he looked up and his brother
"Ran! Seat on the co-pilot for now" said Shinichi serious as she gives Ran the headphone
"Eh? ah okay… but Shinichi… what is going on?" said Ran as she sit on the co-pilot seat
"Just now, he was pressing those buttons… which means" thought Shinichi serious as he controlled the plane
Suddenly an alarm goes on which surprise both of them. Shinichi look to the screen and see the sign that one of the plane door is open
"What happen?" asked Ran
"That bastard… really bailing" said Shinichi in anger
"Eh?"
Moments later, both of them heard a sound from the headphones. Ran quickly shout since she thought it's from the tower but it's Conan
"Niichan, he really flew" said Conan
"I see, that's why he pressed the depressurization button" said Shinichi serious
"He?" asked Ran seems can't understand
"Shinjou-san was actually Kaito Kid, Ran-neechan. That's why he chooses me to become the co-pilot before" said Conan through the radio
"Kid?! Ehh…"
"Can you comeback here?" asked Shinichi to the boy
"I will, for now we can only circle around to take a closer look to the pier" said Conan serious
"Yeah, you're right"
Shinichi quickly turn the plane right so that they can get closer to look, Conan sees through the opened the door and it was too dark to see the land clearly and he head back to the cockpit. Conan arrives to the cockpit and when he arrives, his focus not toward the controls or the dark view
But to his big brother
His face change to serious as he walk closer to the seats
"Ran-neechan, hold the control handle" said Conan not looking at Ran
"Eh? ah..." said Ran as she hold the handle and can feel the unsteady handle
"Keep it steady, Ran-neechan"
Suddenly Conan jump and hop on to Shinichi's feet which of course surprise Shinichi. Conan take Shinichi's hands which confirmed his suspicious. Shinichi's hands are shaking due to panic
"I knew it… Niichan, you have panic attack" said Conan in low voice
"Does it important now, if I let go then-"
"Don't worry, Ran-neechan will keep it steady for a while. If you keep it a secret, how can you land this giant wings with that unsteady hands"
"Cih, I really can't keep anything from you"
Conan looked at Ran's who tried her best to keep the plane steady so he has no time to lose
"Nee, forget the fact that we're holding many people on the line and remember when dad teach us about Cessna at Hawaii" said Conan serious
"Oi but that time Cessna was not flown"
"Or do you want to remember what we talk few days ago?"
Shinichi was confused but seeing his smirk realize it. He talks about Ran at home which make him blush
"NO! THAT'S A BIG NO!" shout Shinichi start to blush
"You should just confess then, maybe you can-"
"That's not an option, baka"
Shinichi look away blushing while Conan smile as he sees that Shinichi's hands is not shaking anymore which means he calm down
"Finally you calm down" said Conan smiling
"Eh… now that you mention it" said Shinichi as he looked his hands
"Now you're ready"
"Seriously you are something huh Conan"
"You always do that to me when I have panic attacks. Might use it to you now right"
"As expected from my little brother, let's land this giant wings up" said Shinichi smirk
Shinichi take on the handle again while Ran quickly back to the jump seat to let Conan on the co-pilot and give the headphone to him because she knew that Conan knows more about the cockpit than her. Suddenly Ran saw red lights moving around, Conan and Shinichi look at it and smirk as if knows what it means.
"That bastard…" said Conan smirking
"Ran! Tell the attendant to make announcement for emergency landing" said Shinichi serious
"Okay!" shout Ran as she goes out of the cockpit
"Conan! Begin landing preparations!"
"Already on it!" said Conan
Shinichi quickly turn the plane toward the pier that already light on thanks to Kaito Kid using the police cars. Ran comes back and sit again on the jump seat with seatbelt on. As they about ready, Conan quickly pull down the gear level and pull the flap lever. Suddenly there's a notice about the low fuel
"Looks like we're out of fuel…" said Conan serious
"Ah… it's one shot, do or die!" said Shinichi
As they about to enter the surface, the plan start to shake very hard. Conan looks worried but he looks at his big brother who's determined to land this plane safely, Shinichi quickly pull the thrust lever all the way up. As they start to feel the land, Shinichi put down the nose and reverse thrust immediately with Conan helping him.
"Stop stop stop!" shout all three of them in the cockpit
The plane is not showing any stop but there's a crane on the way
"Shinichi! There's crane! We're going to crash!" shout Ran
Shinichi look surprised and confused at the same time, he looks around to do something until his little brother help him
"Rudder! Press the rudder!" shout Conan in panic
Shinichi quickly do what he says and the plane goes to the right. They manage not to crash the crane and stop the plane safely. Ran open her eyes and see the view of the plane stop. Shinichi and Conan quickly loosen their body in relief that they finally stop the gigantic bird and save hundreds of people. Conan took off his belt and quickly hug his big brother happily and glad that it went well. Shinichi smile and hug him back
"We did it! We did it, Niichan!" shout Conan in relief
"Yeah… that was really a close one" said Shinichi
Ran quickly hug both of them in tears of joy and relief. Suddenly Kogoro and Eri comes in and told them to get off the plane now.
Few Moments later
Both Shinichi and Conan are drinking hot chocolate by the emergency staff. Both of them are now sitting on the pier together
"I'm just glad we are back on land" said Shinichi as he drinks the hot chocolate
"I couldn't agree more… On the trip back home, we will be using Shinkansen okay" said Conan
"Agree… I will arrange the tickets tomorrow. So how it feels to fly a real plane?"
"Crazy… it was crazy. We should really thank dad for teaching us about Cessna. It will be a doom if we don't know anything"
"Later if he visits us okay… I'm hoping this will be my first and last flying a plane and taking over cockpit"
"Same here.."
Both of them just enjoy the bridge view with many sirens and people talking behind them. Conan put down his cup and then rest his head to Shinichi's body
"Conan?"
"You work hard Niichan…"
"It's all thanks to you too Conan. If you are not there with me, I will be having a very hard time and mental breakdown… thank you" said Shinichi smiling
Conan smiled to his big brother and relief that everything will be okay
Back to present
"That time was indeed a close one" said Conan bitter laugh
"Ahh and the fact that rival of yours didn't tell his plan on light up the pier using police cars. You should scold him once in a while" said Shinichi
"Tell him yourself please, I had enough fighting with him"
"So you know the keyword, detective brat?" asked Kogoro serious
"Of course…"
Shinichi type 'Make Up' which quickly opens the door to the next room. Just before they enter, suddenly a glass wall goes through the middle of the room separated Kogoro with the others. Ran was worried until suddenly a big wind coming out through the ceiling forcing the three to go to the next room leaving Kogoro behind
"Dad!" shout Ran
"Ran! Stay safe, be careful!" shout Kogoro before the door fully shut
"Ran-neechan… we have no choice to move forward" said Conan while holding her hands
"Yeah… you're right, wait for us dad" said Ran in low voice
Both Ran and Conan look that Shinichi who was silent the whole time. They look toward the podium in the middle of the room which have a bomb on it and timer which to only have two minutes. The bomb was set inside the podium so both brothers can't disarm it.
"This date… what date is it?!" asked Ran starts to panic
"Wait wait let me remember… Akh! What happen this day" said Shinichi as he holds his head
"Niichan…" said Conan in low voice
Suddenly words show up above the boxes which seem to be hint
"When is the last time you eat a cake under the rain?"
Shinichi eyes shot up as he sees the hint and he quickly recognizes what case does this refer to so he quickly type 'Coffee' to the screen

So I'm reaching chapter 21! yeayy!
I will publish a long series for it, from Chapter 21 to 25 because 21 and 25 is two of my favorite numbers and my luckiest numbers.
For the plot, it's from the special Live Action Drama that was released few years ago. I thought the plot will be perfect for this long series. Also as for celebration reaching Chapter 21, I will publish my very first side story for Brothers Adventures!
