Shinichi, Kogoro, Ran and Conan are eating dinner together in Shinichi's house. Shinichi tried to compile everything that Kogoro told him
"Still the fact that he's challenging you means that he's very confident. He even exploded a bomb right in front of you as an evidence" said Shinichi confuse as he eats
"Did he say something weird?" asked Conan
"There's one, when dad can't understand him about the code for the first time. The culprit shout 'Hand as in handling!' like that"
Conan eyes shot up and then smirk. Shinichi was surprised as Conan change of face
"Oi… you know something?" asked Shinichi surprised
"Eh? You don't understand?" said Conan in shock by his big brother
"No…"
"Ah right! You were talking with Hide-san when it happens. That day in the J-League convention, Professor Agasa give us that riddle and the one who answer it happen to be Endou-san. He said the exact words as the culprit since it is the answer of the riddle"
Shinichi, Ran and Kogoro then look surprised and understand what Conan approach on. In other words, the culprit happened to hear Professor Agasa's riddle to know those words
"So there are four suspects then. Yamamori Shinzou, Kouda Kaoru, Sakaki Ryousuke and Motoura Keiichirou" said Kogoro smiling with confidence
"There's one more… At that time, another person was on a nearby bench. Nakaoka Kazumasa-san was there too" said Conan serious
"You mean the miraculous lone striker that I mention to you before? I didn't know he was there!" said Shinichi surprised
"Sorry, forgot to tell you"
"Then, there are five suspects…" said Ran worried
"We should tell Megure-keibu tomorrow about our deduction but for now, let's sleep. Ran, you can wear my mom's clothes if you want" said Shinichi as he gets up
"Alright, thank you" said Ran as she stands up as well
Shinichi and Ran quickly wash the dishes together while Conan quickly turn off the living room and light up the guest rooms for both Kogoro and Ran. Luckily, their house have three guest rooms which is convenient if something happens. Ran and Conan are already gone to their rooms while Kogoro stop Shinichi to which make both of them stay in the kitchen for a while
"Shinichi, I need you to do me a favor…" said Kogoro serious
"What is it Occhan?" asked Shinichi as he sits down by Kogoro's side
"Can you and that brat stay with us until this is over?"
"Eh why?"
"Culprit is indeed targeting me… In other words, Ran may also be in danger. I want you and the brat to help me protect Ran"
Shinichi was surprised at first but Kogoro now is very serious to him to which Shinichi nod to him as an agreement
"Alright, Occhan. We will protect Ran and of course you as well" said Shinichi with a serious smile

Two days after the incident of Touto Stadium, the police officers are giving their result of the investigation about the five suspects that Kogoro, Shinichi and Conan pointed. Inspector Megure, Inspector Shiratori and Chiba are present with them
"We already investigate about the five suspects that you mention in the phone, first is Yamamori-san. Thanks to the explosion incident, the ratings have gone up and he managed to avoid getting fired as department head" said Inspector Shiratori looking at his notebook
"So the incident helped him" said Inspector Megure serious
"Next is Kouda-san, the incident also help her back to her previous position at the local news section due to her scoop pictures of the incident"
The brothers look at the board seriously with each of suspects pictures
"Next, Sakaki-san. At this point, we haven't found any motive that would cause him to blow up Touto Stadium. Sakaki-san's own goal fiasco during college ridiculed by you or so we heard, Mouri-san" said Inspector Shiratori serious

Ran and Shinichi look at Kogoro in an annoyed look to which he can only sigh by his actions. Conan was more focus on the suspects pictures
"Next, Motoura-san. His only son, Tomofumi-kun after watching the J-League all-star game that took place at Touto Stadium and was broadcast on TV last year, suffered a heart attack" said Inspector Shiratori
"Heart attack?" thought Conan
"He was rushed to Touto Hospital in an ambulance, but… We found out he passed away in spite of the medical intervention"
"Touto Stadium… Ambulance…" said Kogoro while thinking
"What's wrong?" asked Shinichi surprised
"No, it just somehow rang a bell"
"Eh really?" asked Inspector Megure surprised
"Maybe not…"
"Oi oi oi…" thought Shinichi
"Anyway, last but not least, Nakaoka-san. Three years ago in February, after causing a bike accident, he underwent surgery immediately but despite staying in rehab for half a year, his left foot didn't fully recover its function and the Spirits rescinded their offer" said Inspector Shiratori
After they heard Inspector Shiratori's investigation on the five suspects. Conan looks serious as he looks at the pictures

"Nee Niichan, can you ask Shiratori-keibu to look through Tomofumi-kun's death. It seems Occhan have something to do with it" thought Conan as he looks at Shinichi

Shinichi quickly agreed since Conan's gut feelings are strong like their mother's. Inspector Megure concluded that Nakaoka is their possible culprit for now and so they all go out to go back investigate the case in the police headquarters. Just as Inspector Megure and Chiba goes out, Shinichi stop Inspector Shiratori asking him to look into Tomofumi's death

"Nakaoka-san was arrested?!" asked Conan surprised
Takagi and Sato are in Mouri Detective agency giving their statement on looking after Nakaoka yesterday with Inspector Megure who has been with them since in the morning. It turns out, last night when both Takagi and Sato were staking him out, he got enraged and try to throw a punch at Takagi
"I see… So have you two got any lead from him?" asked Shinichi
"We heard his story this morning after he calmed down and it seems like it wasn't the case that he had a grudge against the Spirits" said Sato
"What!?" asked Kogoro and Inspector Megure surprised
"When we questioned him about how the Spirits rescinded their offer to him. He said that it was a huge misunderstanding"
"Misunderstanding?" asked Ran confused
"It turns out the Spirits never rescinded their offer and the one who declined the offer was himself. The Spirits also footed his surgery bill and rehab costs after his accident" said Takagi
"But it seems his left foot never really recovered and they said they will be willing to honor their contract be it only for 15 minutes, the Spirits still wanted him as forward" said Sato
"Then why he rejected the offer?" asked Conan serious
"He said his pride can't take it. He said that the person who cannot stand by in the field for 90 minutes has no qualification to play soccer as a professional J-Leaguer"
Shinichi eyes turn serious after hearing the words. Only Ran who notice Shinichi change expression after hearing the statement but she stays silent to continue hearing the investigation
"We already got the same statement as the Spirits and from the motorbike shop owner he was working part-time for, we acquired this" said Sato as she gives a picture to the desk
It was a picture of Nakaoka playing soccer in South America. Conan then become serious as of this he started to think that Nakaoka may be not their potential culprit. Shinichi then close his eyes as he's trying to digest every information from Sato and Takagi
"Wait a minute… If I'm sure that time, I accidentally look at Kaoru-san notebook and if I'm not wrong it says… Suginami Sports park, 6:00 AM, K.K. Who's K.K?" thought Conan confused
"K.K?" asked Shinichi through his thought as he looks at Conan

The clock shows to be 5 AM and most people are still asleep but Conan already wakes up from his sleep and goes to where his big brother's futon is
"Niichan… wake up Niichan" said Conan softly
"Um… Conan? What time is it?" asked Shinichi as he tried to open his eyes
"It's 5 AM, come on. Let's go to the living room"
Conan goes to the living room as Shinichi open his eyes. He goes to the bathroom to wash his face and then change his clothes along with Conan who already change
"So, what is it? You did say that you will tell me in the morning but I didn't think it will be this early" said Shinichi as he sits down on the living room while Conan giving a cup of tea to him
"Sorry… Actually that time at the J-League convention, I accidentally look into Kaoru-san's notebook" said Conan as he sits down
"What it says?"
"O.Y, Shiodome Arena and K.K, Suginami Sport park, 6 AM"
"O.Y… Shiodome Arena?"
"I don't know about that one, but how about we look into the K.K one?"
"I see… Suginami Sport park right, let me get our jackets and bike key" said Shinichi as he stands up taking his keys
"Alright, should we leave a note to Ran-neechan?"
"We should be back at seven so I don't think we need to do that"

At Suginami Sport Park
"We're here" said as Conan look around
"Suginami Sport park huh… It's been a while" thought Shinichi as he smiles
"You have been here before?"
"Yeah, I always train here for the middle school championship. I never play here again after high school"
"I see…"
Suddenly both of them spot someone running to which Conan quickly use his glasses to see but much to his surprised to see a J-League soccer star instead
"No way…" said Conan shock
"Who is it…" said Shinichi confused
"It's… It's…"
"Hello you two, you two are early" said the person as he passed by
Shinichi was surprised and then he noticed immediately which to be Miura Kazuyoshi
"Good morning!" said both of them surprised
Kazuyoshi wave at them as he jog away
"That's Miura Kazuyoshi… How in the world…" asked Conan
"I see, K.K means by King Kazu" said Shinichi as he realized
"Oh! I understand now…"
"Should we go to him?"
"OF COURSE!"
Both of them quickly goes to Kazuyoshi which he's now having a stretching
"Excuse me, may we ask a question?" asked Shinichi as he goes to him while Conan stay beside Shinichi
"Sure, what is it?" said Kazuyoshi
"Do you know Kouda Kaoru? from the Nichiuri newspaper"
"Kouda Kaoru… Nichiuri… Ah, Wonder where she got that from, she knew about how I sometimes train myself here and she asked to take a picture of me"

"But I refused"
"Eh?" asked both Shinichi and Conan surprised

"Edogawa Conan…" said Conan as he looked to Kazuyoshi blushing
"Do you like soccer?"
"Yes"
"Then…"
Kazuyoshi take out a soccer ball and throw it to Conan's directions to which he quickly caught it
"How about we play?" said Kazuyoshi as he looks at the field
"Yes!" said Conan happily
"Kudou-san, how about you?"
"I think I prefer to watch, play with him strictly okay. He's an ace in soccer after all" said Shinichi as he pushed Conan toward Kazuyoshi
"Niichan!" said Conan blushing
"Hahaha very well then, let's go boy"
"Alright!"
Kazuyoshi and Conan quickly goes to the field while Shinichi sit by the bench looking at Conan playing soccer
"If only I don't wear this uncomfortable pants… I would gladly play as well" thought Shinichi unhappy
Conan passing the ball to Kazuyoshi happily as they play very well and Kazuyoshi also teach him some moves as well. Shinichi can see how happy Conan is now to which ease him down
"Well, watching him play sure is worth it but with this… It concluded that K.K has nothing to do with the case and what is O.Y…" thought Shinichi as his face turn serious

After playing, Kazuyoshi gives a white wristband to Conan as a gratitude for helping him practice.
"Wristband?! Are you sure this is okay?" asked Conan surprised
"It's fine, you're the second boy. The first one I gave was a red wristband, I think" said Kazuyoshi as he took his bag
"Red wristband?" thought Shinichi
"Guess it's been 14 or 15 years since then. I was practicing alone with a boy just about your age and he also made an amazing shot like you"
"Is that boy in the J-League now?" asked Conan
"Who knows… I didn't ask for his name but if he still plays soccer then I bet he had become a J-Leaguer now"
Conan then smile to Kazuyoshi and becomes happy with the present. Shinichi just smile seeing his little brother whose now in very happy mood after practicing with the J-League. Shinichi walk away seeing the dog that happen to passed by but suddenly Kazuyoshi bend down to Conan size
"You are not interested in being a J-Leaguer?" asked Kazuyoshi
"Well, I actually haven't thought about my future" said Conan blush
"I see… Your skills are almost the same as my junior… Do you practice alone?"
"No… I ask Shinichi-niichan to teach me and sometimes I play with my friends"
"I see, then I think you already have your future set on"
"Eh?"
"You will understand later on. By other people's view, we can already see what is your future, Conan-kun"
Conan blush immediately as Kazuyoshi wave at him and goes out from the park. Shinichi look at his little brother who seems to be paralyzed on the spot
"What's wrong?" asked Shinichi
"Ah no… Nothing, should we head back?" asked Conan
"Yeah"
Conan quickly put on the wristband on happily which Shinichi smile and then take him up to his shoulders and run out from the park

Shinichi read through the message that Ran received in the morning when he and Conan are out to Suginami Sport park. The police officers are by them now since when the brothers arrive, all of them are already in thinking poses
"I see… then you concluded that the next place should be more than 80,000 people because last time in Touto Stadium, there were 80,000 people" said Conan as he read
"Yes, there should be no mistake about it" said Inspector Megure
Suddenly they heard Chiba scream as he points at the poster of a concert right on the agency wall
"There will be a concert in Shiodome Arena with total of 100,000 people will be watching" said Chiba
"Shiodome Arena…" thought both brothers as they look back
Chiba quickly took the board of suspects again and he told them that the sponsor of the concert is Nichiuri TV Station, to which Yamamori Shinzou expected to be the producer of the live broadcast. He also tells them that Kaoru has a personal grudge on Okino Yoko due to not getting a scoop from her due to tight guard
"Okino Yoko…" thought the brothers
Suddenly the two look at each other as if understanding the meaning of the note that Kaoru put beside Kazayoshi's to which to be her intent to get a scoop from Yoko
"Kudou-kun, Conan-kun? What's wrong?" asked Sato who notice the brothers behavior
"You tell them Conan" said Shinichi
"Actually, that time at the J-League convention, I actually happened to look at Kaoru-san's notebook and it said O.Y, Shiodome Arena" said Conan
"Really?!" asked Inspector Megure shock
"You brat! Why you didn't tell us sooner?!" asked Kogoro angrily who was hold by both Shinichi and Ran
"Now now, Mouri-san. We haven't determined that Kouda-san is the culprit" said Takagi calming the sleeping detective
"But with that, the two rise up as potential suspects again" said Sato serious
All of them start thinking until Sato realize about the mail
"Ran-chan, about the mail from the culprit. Do you know when it was put inside your mailbox?" asked Sato
"I'm sure it wasn't there when I peeked into the mailbox yesterday evening" said Ran
"So it was put into it before…"
"Which means Nakaoka is not the culprit" said Takagi understands it
"Eh why?" asked Shinichi surprised
"Because he's still at the detection center. He will be released this afternoon"
Shinichi seems to look serious by the alibi of Nakaoka. Inspector Megure ask about the mail envelope that Ran receive in the morning along with the mail from the culprit which to be a gift from the Tokyo Spirits supporter. Ran gives the envelope to Inspector Megure which he notices that there's some glue on the edges of the envelope. After that, Inspector Megure told the police to investigate more about Kaoru and Shinzou as the possible culprits
Shinichi and Conan feel something off so they stayed in the agency while Ran prepare dinner and Kogoro also goes with her. The two look at the board with the five suspects pictures seriously
"Conan… Do you think it's weird that the culprit pinpoint the location on his message" said Shinichi serious
"Yeah… Security will be tightened in response and it will only deter the culprit from committing the crime" said Conan as he looks at the copy of the message
"That's right, even under tight security… Does the culprit still have the absolute confidence of being able to set up and bring in the bombs?"
"Nee Niichan… Is it possible that the culprit employ a wordplay trick to mislead"
"I have been thinking of that… Because, on that day of the concert, happen to be..."
"Final matches of the J-League season" said both brothers together
Both brothers look at each other and smile by their same thinking on other bombing possibilities
"Knowing the culprit bombing Touto Stadium when Tokyo Spirits and Gamba Osaka held the match, it's possible the culprit also trying to bomb another J-League match" said Shinichi
"But the stadium that has more than 80,000 people on it are only Shiodome Arena… Then why the culprit told us that he wants more audience?" asked Conan confused
"Either he picks one place but with wider area which can make people in and out of the stadium get hit or simulate all 10 matches or in other words, 10 stadiums at the same time"
Conan eyes shot up in shock on what Shinichi just told him. His big brother got the point there to which he looks serious to the board
"Should we tell Megure-keibu about this deduction of yours?" asked Conan worried
"I will call him later tonight. Seriously I'm confused why the culprit challenging Occhan knowing that he's a famous detective" said Shinichi irritated
"Personal grudge?"
"On what? Occhan did sometimes make mistakes on cases but when it comes to person life, I don't think he made that kind of mistakes"
"This is just my gut feeling but… I'm still suspicious on Motoura-san"
Shinichi seems surprised that Conan suspect the one that wasn't in the discussion today. He looks at Motoura's picture and also his son, Tomofumi
"What makes you think like that?" asked Shinichi as he looks at the picture
"About Tomofumi-kun died due to medical intervention… I don't know why but I feel like it's related to the case" said Conan as he folded his knees
"Hmmm… I think Shiratori-keibu secretly looking into it. I will also talk to him tonight"
"Okay"
Just then, Ran comes in bringing snacks to the brothers
"You two, don't get too focus on the case and eat" said Ran smiling
"Hahaha thanks Ran" said Shinichi giggle
"Thank you Ran-neechan" said Conan as he takes the snack
"Are you two still looking into those files" asked Ran
"Yeah… There are some points that we're still confuse on" said Shinichi
"I see… but I'm surprised both of you're staying here as well. Are you two really worried about my dad?"
"It's a case that interrupted J-League match that both Conan and I are in it. How can I not be involved when it comes to something I like other than being a detective"
"Fair point…"
Both brothers look at each other as they keep the secret that actually Kogoro who ask them to stay to protect Ran from danger

It was the day of the concert and the final matches of the J-League season. Sonoko comes by asking Ran to accompany here to go to the movies which Kogoro of course let them
"Alright alright, Shinichi… Do you want to come?" asked Ran
"Where are you going?" asked Shinichi
"Watch a movie, if you want to go then let's go Shinichi-kun!" said Sonoko
"Fine, I will come… Conan, if there's anything about the case, quickly message me okay"
"Alright, see you later"
Shinichi and Ran go out from the house leaving Kogoro and Conan alone
"Why didn't you go as well?" asked Kogoro confused
"Niichan ask me to stay to look at the case. Ojiisan, you did ask Shinichi-niichan to protect Ran-neechan after all" said Conan smiling
"I see, well that's fine by me but don't disturb the investigations!"
"Yes yes…"
Inspector Megure, Takagi, Sato and Chiba arrive to the agency and Inspector Megure look around trying to find Shinichi which he was not present
"Sorry keibu, Shinichi-niichan is out with Ran-neechan and Sonoko-neechan" said Conan as he took the cup of tea for the police
"I see… Then I should be telling you then, Conan-kun. Kudou-kun did tell me if he's not present, I should tell you what I got" said Inspector Megure as he sat down
"About Shinichi-niichan's call last night right"
"Yeah"
"What is it?" asked Kogoro confused
"Kudou-kun call me about the potential location beside the Shiodome Arena. He said that today happens to be final matches of the J-League season so he asked me to in case to look into it as well"
"Just a coincidence. Why would the culprit after J-League"
"The first bombing happen right at a J-League match after all… We can't deny other potential, Ojiisan" said Conan serious as he sits down beside Kogoro
Kogoro and the police officers take Conan's words immediately to which they are now can only wait for further instructions
At National Stadium
"Oi Sonoko! How in the world you get the tickets this fast?!" asked Shinichi shock
"I have my ways Shinichi-kun. Come on, the game is starting" said Sonoko happily
"But why lied about going to the movies?" asked Ran confused
"Sorry, figures if we told your dad that we're watching soccer then he would stop us"
"Of course! The first bombing occurred right in the middle of the game! I was practically there" said Shinichi unhappy
"Then if something happens, Shinichi-kun can be there for us"
"Oi oi oi"
Shinichi look at his phone that there's no message from his little brother yet so he sighs as he sits down beside Ran
"But I'm surprised that you want to join? I thought you would be interest in the case instead" asked Ran
"Change of pace wouldn't be a problem right? Not to mention, right now Occhan and the police have Conan with them so I'm sure everything will be okay" said Shinichi as relax
"You really trust him Shinichi…"
"Of course, he's my partner after all. Not to mention, if the case is surround about soccer then the only detectives that can solve it are both of us"
Shinichi said that with a proud smile to which make Ran slightly blush. Suddenly Sonoko shout cheering for Higo which they find laughable
"I'm sure this is how Conan feels if he's with Haibara watching Big Osaka" thought Shinichi smirking

Right in the middle of the game, Shinichi gets a call from Conan so he quickly told Ran and Sonoko that he will be taking the phone. Shinichi gets up and goes to the entrance of the stadium which has less shouting from the supporters
"Hello?" asked Shinichi
"Niichan, I already send the new notice from the culprit, use your earphone to talk so we can look at it together" said Conan serious
"What?!"
Shinichi quickly attach his earphone to his phone and look at the pictures that Conan send which to be the notice from the culprit
"Red wristband…" said Shinichi serious
"I already told Haibara about this so she should be the one who will tell me of the updates later for now, we have to find out the instruction on how to disarm the bomb" said Conan serious"
"Alright"
Shinichi look closely to the first page to find what is the instruction, suddenly he put his phone horizontally by the air to which he notices the red ink that was stop by the staple.
"Oi Conan, where did the ink stop at?" asked Shinichi
"Right in the middle of the staple"
Suddenly a realization comes to Shinichi's mind as his imagination play with him
"Conan! Hear me right now, the instruction is the red ink and the staple" said Shinichi serious
"Eh what?!" said Conan as he looks serious
"Look closely to the notice horizontally"
Conan looks at the real notice on the desk that was putted by the police. Suddenly his imagination plays him a soccer field and so he quickly goes up and took the notice from the desk. His actions of course caught the police and Kogoro's attention immediately
"I see… This is what you mean, Shinichi-niichan…" said Conan as he smirks understand the instruction
"I will go there immediately, tell everyone the instruction for me okay!" said Shinichi
"Alright!"
Both brothers close the phone call. Conan let go of his earphone and quickly told everyone in the room about the instruction while Shinichi on the other hand, quickly run to where Sonoko and Ran is
"Both of you! We have to go!" said Shinichi serious
"Eh? but we are still in good-" said Sonoko but interrupted
"Listen to me will you!"
Shinichi's anger caught the two surprise to which Ran listened to him and she stand up and she also forced Sonoko to go as well. Three of them quickly run out from the National Stadium and meet Sonoko's driver to which they quickly go inside the car
"To Mouri detective agency immediately!" said Shinichi serious to the driver
"Alright Kudou-sama" said the driver
"Shinichi-kun, what is going on?!" asked Sonoko unhappy
"Another notice arrives to Occhan and my deduction yesterday was right, the culprit aiming the J-League final matches" said Shinichi serious
"Which means…" asked Ran shock
"Yeah, right now all 10 stadiums has bomb in it. The culprit demand that the ace striker has to be the one who disarm the bomb"
Sonoko and Ran are shock by the realization and worried of the supporters on the stadiums
"No way… Then if the striker failed then the bomb explodes?!" shout Sonoko surprised
"Yeah, so that's why getting you two out of there is my priority for now and I want both of you to stay watch the game at home. The police will be there protecting the house as well so you guys don't have to worry" said Shinichi serious as he looks at the time
"Then Shinichi… what are you going to do?" asked Ran worried
"I will help the police to find out the culprit to stop the bombs…"

Three of them arrives right when Kogoro and Conan goes out from the house
"Dad/Conan!" said both Ran and Shinichi
"Ran! Perfect timing, you stay inside. I'm going to meet someone now" said Kogoro serious
"I'm coming, Sonoko will be with Ran so don't worry" said Shinichi serious
"Alright, let's go"
"You two stay and don't go out from the house"
Both Kogoro and Conan go in the police car while Shinichi bring his bike and leaving the two high schooler girls
"Shinichi…" thought Ran worried
"It will be fine, Ran. Let's go inside to watch the rest of the game" said Sonoko as she takes her friend's hand
"Alright"
Time Skip~
They are now at Motoura's house. Inspector Shiratori already with him before hand to which surprised him to see Kogoro in front him
"Mouri-san? What's the deal with this?" asked Motoura confused
"We don't have much time so allow me to cut the chase. Actually, I looked into your son, Tomofumi-kun's death and it turns out that the hospital your son was sent to by an ambulance and died at was in the vicinity of Touto Stadium where an explosion happened the other day. That day, inside the stadium, the J-League all stars game took place and when the ambulance carrying Tomofumi-kun passed by the stadium, it was surrounded and blocked by some excited supporters which so the ambulance couldn't move for a while" said Inspector Shiratori telling everything about his investigations
Of course, people inside the room were surprised by Inspector Shiratori's investigations. Suddenly Kogoro's eyes change in surprised which Shinichi notice immediately
"The supporters were having an uproar and pounding at the ambulance with their hands and megaphones… and the one who incited the supporters was Mouri-san" said Inspector Shiratori serious
"I remembered now" said Kogoro realize
Both brothers look at Kogoro surprised by his actions but they believe there must be something which makes Kogoro do such thing. Inspector Megure and Inspector Shiratori quickly press him that he's the culprit behind the bombing of the stadiums due to his grudge against Kogoro for stopping his son's ambulance but Motoura's expression was surprised instead
"Motoura-san… We figure out the code not long ago and confirmed with Sakaki-san and we are certain you are the culprit" said Inspector Shiratori
"What do you mean by culprit?" said Motoura confused
"What kind of shot did Tomofumi-kun do to score the goal?"
"It was… The ball hit the middle of the crossbar of the goalpost and went into the goal just like that…"
"That was the same as the answer to the culprit's code that we received today"
"Wait a minute, I don't understand any of this"
Shinichi and Conan look serious because Motoura didn't show any look of the culprit that was cornered. Suddenly Kogoro step forward and look at Motoura serious
"Motoura-san… There's something you have to know. That day when I stop the ambulance… I was actually trying to help an elderly man who fainted due to hyperthermia" said Kogoro serious
"Eh?" asked Motoura surprised
"I was waiting for an ambulance that I called to come while providing first aid treatment. When your son's ambulance comes, we thought it was the ambulance that we called for the elderly man so all of us tried to call him. But it turns out the ambulance for him arrived later on and he was eventually saved"
"Is that so…"
"Although it was a mistake, I nevertheless stopped your son's ambulance and I'm sorry for doing such thing. I won't retort even if you hold a grudge on me but please don't put other innocent lives along with it"
Motoura was surprised by Kogoro's words to which he still didn't accept the accusation of being the culprit of the bombings. Kogoro took Inspector Shiratori and Inspector Megure for a moment while both Shinichi and Conan look at Motoura serious
"Conan… I think Motoura is telling the truth, he's not our culprit" thought Shinichi serious
"Yeah, I think so too… If he's the culprit then he would have look at the time often to predict when the bomb will explode" thought Conan agreeing
Shinichi quickly told them that Motoura-san is not their culprit due to not being anxious by the time, Chiba comes in and informed them that the only stadium left is National Stadium which Inspector Megure ask to open the TV immediately to look at the game. Shinichi look at Conan who seems to be looking at the picture frame seriously
"Nee Motoura-san, the man in the picture who's holding a video camera is you right?' asked Conan as he is holding the picture and the camera
"Eh? yes… I took a video of him and my wife took that picture on the opposite side of me" said Motoura surprised
"You used this video camera right? Can I take a look?"
"Sure"
Shinichi quickly bend down to Conan's size and he looks at the picture and he realizes that Tomofumi is waving at someone instead of his mother. Conan play the video and both brothers was surprised to see the unexpected person in the video
"That person!" thought both Shinichi and Conan surprised
"But… He has a perfect alibi?" thought Conan as he looks at Shinichi
"There must be some kind of trick…" thought Shinichi
Suddenly the two look at TV which showing that Sanada is giving a free kick. By the look from the TV, the ball didn't get hit properly to the crossbar but instead reach inside the goalpost creating a goal. Conan unconsciously hold Shinichi's sleeve in shock by the situation and as the time is up, there was no explosions happening
"No way…" thought Shinichi surprised
"The time has passed" said Chiba as he looks at the clock
"But why it didn't explode..." said Conan confused
"It must be when Sanada-san shot the crossbar before we got here. I believe the device on the scoreboard has malfunctioned" said Kogoro serious
"Which means, we are indeed lucky but so who's the culprit?" said Inspector Shiratori serious
"I already mention that I'm not the culprit!" said Motoura angrily
Shinichi stand up as he thinks after the revelation of the culprit that Conan get to which he deduces that there must be a relationship between Tomofumi and him
"Motoura-san, did anyone else ask you about Tomofumi-kun's death?" asked Shinichi serious
"Hmmm… Now that you mention it, I heard my wife told someone else about it but I can't be sure who that was" said Motoura as he think
"I see..."
Shinichi trying to deduce on how did the culprit created the alibi until suddenly he looks to the papercraft that was created by Tomofumi. The nameplate's glue was coming off which then triggered Shinichi's memories about the glue edges of the envelope. As he realizes it, he ran out from the room in hurry. Conan was surprised by his act to which he quickly chases him out. Shinichi go to his bike and put on his helmet while Conan was paced behind him
"Niichan! What is going on!" asked Conan serious
"Conan, you stay here. That's an order" said Shinichi as he turns on his bike
Conan then quickly goes in front of the bike and hold his bike to stop him from going further
"You are not facing the culprit on your own!" said Conan angrily
"It's dangerous for you to come with-"
"Didn't you promise me that you will always tell the case you do in detail after that white room incident!"
Shinichi eyes shot up as Conan mention the case that Shinichi really hate the most of his time as a detective. Conan was glaring at him as if not letting him move aside. Shinichi sigh as he takes out Conan's helmet and Conan who quickly put it on, sit right behind Shinichi
"Hold on tight, I will speed up" said Shinichi serious
The bike quickly goes in top speed as Shinichi race against time to go to where the culprit will be standing, the first bombing and will be the final goal of the end of his revenge, Touto Stadium
Time Skip~
Shinichi quickly park his bike slightly away from the stadium. The two brothers quickly go in the stadium and much to his surprised to see an unconscious guard
"Niichan, you go meet the culprit, I will look for other guards and try to move them away from here" said Conan serious
"Conan…"
"I will come to you later before he starts to explode the bombs so don't worry. I will not die here and so are you. I will hear your deduction from my glasses so do it high school detective"
Shinichi then nod to him as he runs away from Conan while Conan use his suspenders to drag the unconscious guard. Shinichi does his deduction show from the start of the bombings and his motive to which surprise Conan the details that he didn't know about. He's now facing the culprit of the bombings and the one who challenges Kogoro
Nakaoka Kazumasa
Few moments later, after Conan getting the three guards out of the way. He tried looking at the last guard around so that he can go to his big brother who's now in the middle of meeting the culprit of the bombing but he already look everywhere and can't find the last one. As he about to give up on his search, suddenly his badge rings
"Conan! We found an unconscious guard near the southwest entry" said someone by the badge
"This voice… Genta! What are you doing here?! Never mind, I'm coming there!" shout Conan angrily
Conan run to the southwest entry which he finds his four friends are standing while looking at the unconscious guard
"How did you guys…" said Conan surprised
"We have our best person to find you right away after all" said Mitsuhiko as he looks at Haibara showing the tracking glasses
"Seriously… Hear me now… This place is full of bombs, Shinichi-niichan is facing the culprit trying to stop him. I have to go to him now and I want you guys to stay outside of the stadium on guard in case the culprit's partner run away" said Conan serious
"But will you be okay?" asked Ayumi worried
"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Bring this guard to the other three guards near the stadium's security station for me okay… Thank you guys"
Conan quickly run away from his friends as he tried to go to the field where his big brother and Nakaoka are. He hears the conversation again to which hearing that Nakaoka is angry at Shinichi which means Shinichi told him the reason why Kogoro stop the ambulance that was holding Tomofumi. Conan arrive to the field and see that Nakaoka is holding a remote control
"Don't do it! Even if you do that, you will only sadden Tomofumi-kun!" shout Shinichi angrily
"Niichan!"
The two look at Conan who's now arrived to the field which Shinichi was glad for a moment but then he look at Nakaoka who is serious
"That boy… He was the one when Hide admit defeat… his name was…" thought Nakaoka surprised
"Conan! Get out from here! The bombs will explode" shout Shinichi to his little brother
"Like I will get away!" shout Conan unhappy
"Sorry, but I can't go back anymore…" said Nakaoka serious
"Stop!" shout the brothers surprised
Nakaoka quickly press the remote control to which create a wave of explosions right near the stadium's ceiling. Conan quickly runs to the center which he manages to dodge the rubbles. He quickly goes to Shinichi's side and both of them look at Nakaoka serious
"There's only one way to stop the bombs. Did you see the electric scoreboard? Although it doesn't mean anything now, as a trial for my striker, my device will cause repeated explosions every minute" said Nakaoka serious
"What?" asked Conan surprised
"And if this thing explodes in the end, it will induce chain explosions of the bombs I set up in other places, ending everything"
Nakaoka put down his bag which showing a lot bombs inside it
"That detective and the supporters will die" said Nakaoka serious
"Occhan and the supporters?" asked Shinichi surprised
"Brat, there's a huge mistake on your deduction. Regarding the stadiums mentioned in my threat letter, this place wasn't one of them. At that point, I hadn't set up any bombs in this stadium to which this place is not the 10th stadium but the 11th stadium"
"Then the 10th stadium is… National Stadium!" shout Conan realizes it
"That's right, the bombs in the National Stadium are linked to the detonators in the bag right here. The explosion will happen four minutes before the end of the game when I have scored that goal at the National Stadium. Since it was the sacred place where I bet my entire life, I decided to destroy it along with myself"
Suddenly, another wave of explosions happens again at the ceiling of the stadium. Shinichi look up and see that the rubbles are about to hit around them
"Conan, look out!" shout Shinichi as he holds Conan away from the rubbles
The stadium rubbles fall to their sight, Shinichi and Conan manage to get out from the rubbles but it seems few rubbles hit Shinichi's head and Conan's shoulder. Due to being hit on his head, Shinichi has a hard time to focus
"Niichan!" shout Conan worried
"This is bad! I can't focus my sight. I must have got a concussion" thought Shinichi as he holds his head
"Hurry and get out of here, you two" said Nakaoka
The brothers look at Nakaoka who seems looking serious. Both of their bodies are complement with Conan's bloody shoulder and Shinichi's bloody head
"I have nothing against both you. The only one who can stop the bomb is the 11th striker but that guy lost our game and is not here anyway. Two more minutes and my revenge will complete and with this, Tomofumi's grudge will be avenged if only a little" said Nakaoka
"Cut the nonsense!" shout the two brothers together
"Not only did you run away from your broken dreams but you used Tomofumi-kun's death as an excuse to vent your rage at everyone else!" shout Shinichi angrily as he hold his head
"Limiting your potential all on your own, you're just a coward who given up your dreams!" shout Conan angrily
"You brats… Spitting out crap like that-" said Nakaoka but interrupted by Conan
"The only brat around here is you! Shifting blame to others, deeming everything that doesn't work your way as lies and trying to destroy them. That's an outrages, self-centered brat!"
"Don't you understand! What you're being doing is disrespect soccer which was the very thing that Tomofumi-kun loved and you're trying to destroy Tomofumi-kun's memory right now! Are you being stupid enough to realize that!" shout Shinichi
Conan raise his hand to wipe down his sweat but suddenly Nakaoka's eyes shot up in shock seeing red wristband on Conan's wrist. It turns out, Conan's white wristband was mixed with his blood to which make it change it's color
"Tomofumi… Why do you have that wristband!" shout Nakaoka as he walks backward
"Eh?" asked the brothers as they look at Conan's wristband which change to red
"That's the one I gave to Tomofumi… No, it can't be… I was wrong the whole time Tomofumi… I only wanted to avenge you and to go to where you are now so why are you denying me as well"
Nakaoka fell to the ground as he closes his eyes with his hands. The brothers understand that it seems he's hallucinating meeting Tomofumi due to seeing Conan's wristband
"There's no time… Hurry and run!" shout Nakaoka showing the bombs
Suddenly another bomb explodes by the sight, Conan quickly react as he runs toward the goalpost. Shinichi want to help his brother but his eyesight is still playing with him. He also notices the blood coming out from his head to which he quickly wipes it with his shirt sleeves. He looks at Conan to which he misses his shot which straight away to the seats instead. Shinichi can't kick the ball properly due to concussion so he takes off his soccer belt
"CONAN! CATCH!" shout Shinichi as he throws his soccer belt
Conan quickly catch it and surprised by the situation. He looks at his big brother who seems to be holding his head to he understand right away on why he can't kick the ball so he uses the second one and the direction is right this time but then the lamp from the ceiling fall right to the ball to which make the ball stop reaching the goalpost
"No way…" said Shinichi as he holds his head
"That's the last ball we have, we don't have ball again but even if we had another… With this many rubbles on the way, I can't aim at the goalpost directly…" thought Conan who look shock
Conan was frustrated until suddenly three of them heard someone calling Conan's name
"Conan-kun!" shout someone
"No way… Ayumi!" shout Conan shock
"We came to save you!" shout Ayumi as she waves
"Hurry and run! It's going to explode"
"Conan/-kun!" shout two boys which to be Genta and Mitsuhiko
Conan look shock as his friends are right now near him by the exploding stadium. The one thing besides Shinichi that he pledges to protect is also his friends
"You guys! I'm telling you to run away immediately! Even though I want to stop the bomb, there's no a single ball!" shout Conan angrily
"I have a ball right here!" shout Genta
"That's… Hide-san's signed ball"
"I don't know what's going on but if we can stop the bomb using this ball, let's go Mitsuhiko!"
"Wait, is it really okay using that ball!" said Mitsuhiko surprised
Genta quickly kick the ball right to Mitsuhiko to he quickly catches it. He looks at how far Ayumi is and look serious
"Ayumi-chan, I'm counting on you!" shout Mitsuhiko to Ayumi
"Alright!" said Ayumi serious
Ayumi quickly catch the ball and about to kick it to Conan but the distance between her and Conan are very far
"But what do I do… It's too far!" shout Ayumi to Mitsuhiko and Genta
"It's fine if you can just kick it over the rubbles!' said Mitsuhiko
"Think back to our soccer training!" said Genta
"Remember our goal, Ayumi-chan!" shout the two boys together
"Our goal… alright!" said Ayumi serious
Conan just look surprised by the seriousness of his friends. Ayumi then nod to them and she quickly kick the ball hard and was about to received by Conan but then the rubbles push the ball away
"Ah!" shout the boys
"No way!" shout Ayumi surprised
The ball stops right next the last child who wasn't seen the whole time which to be Haibara with a smirk
"You got to be kidding me, I have to babysit you even in the end" said Haibara smirking
"Haibara/-san!" shout Genta and Mitsuhiko
"Ai-chan, please give that ball to Conan-kun!" shout Ayumi
Conan look at Haibara by the rubbles to which she was serious of kicking the ball
"Edogawa-kun, I'm entrusting you with everyone's thoughts. Go and receive this!" shout Haibara as she kicks the ball high enough to pass the rubbles to which Conan can see the ball
The ball stops right in front of Conan to which he quickly smirks proudly by soccer playing of his friends
"Well played you guys…" thought Conan happily
Conan quickly lock on to where the goalpost there. He tried to think of a way so that his ball can hit the goalpost to stop the bomb. Shinichi look to his little brother who seems to be shivering, he quickly stands up and touches Conan's shoulder that's not bleeding
"Niichan…" asked Conan surprised
"Conan, do that corner kick that you learned at that soccer convention" said Shinichi serious
"Wait, I haven't mastered that kick yet-"
"You can do it, your friends is here giving you the best soccer skills that they ever achieved so believe in yourself to stop all of this"
Suddenly another explosions arise around the stadium. Shinichi quickly cover Conan from the little rubbles, suddenly few rubbles about to hit them to which Shinichi throw Conan away right near the ball while he got stuck on the other side of the rubbles. After the explosion stop, the time shows to be less than a minute.
"Niichan!" shout Conan worried
"There's no time! Hurry and stop it" said Shinichi as he touches Conan's cheek by the hole of the rubbles
Shinichi then took off Conan's glasses so that he can get better view
"Do it, Conan!" said Shinichi with a smirk
"Alright" said Conan serious
Conan stand up as he walks by the ball and look at where the goalpost is
"Hit the ball with an in-front kick… Rather than kicking it, scoop it with your feet" thought Conan as he dashes toward the ball
He quickly kicks the ball as what he just thought with the help of the power of his shoes
"Go!" shout Conan
"Curve around!" shout Shinichi as he holds Conan's glasses
The ball quickly curves around the rubbles and suddenly the heard a loud sound which to be a sound of the ball hit on the goalpost and the ball goes right into the net. All of them close their eyes waiting for the final explosion but when Shinichi open his eyes, he looks that the timer stops right in 16 milliseconds before zero to which he quickly laughs in shock
Conan who open his eyes also look at the timer and shock by the time to which he also falls to the ground as he sighs in relief
"YOU DID IT CONAN-KUN!" shout the three happily
Suddenly Nakaoka stand up and goes to Conan. Shinichi was shock seeing it and he quickly force himself out of the rubbles but then he look that Nakaoka stop right in front of Conan to which he sighs in relief
"You're really something huh brat…" said Nakaoka smiling
Nakaoka look at Conan with a smile to which Conan was surprised and smile at him
"The 11th striker was actually you huh? Edogawa Conan" said Nakaoka smirking
Conan just nod to him and suddenly he remembers his big brother. He looks around and sees Shinichi sitting by the ground but his knees were full of scratches and wounds due to the rubbles
"Niiichan! Are you okay!?" asked Conan worried
"Yeah, I force myself out of there" said Shinichi
"You're reckless… You should have wait for the police to arrive to save you!"
"Cut me some slack… You did great Conan"
Shinichi put Conan's glasses back on which Conan was surprised and then hug him in relief while Shinichi pat his back softly to calm him down. Moments later, the police arrive and quickly arrest Nakaoka. Nakaoka look at both brothers one more time until suddenly he remembers the one time when he about to do his plan. He takes a stroll on a certain park and sees a high schooler and grade schooler playing soccer together to which make him remember his times with Tomofumi
As he tries to remember, he realizes the two people that he sees that time is Shinichi and Conan who's playing together
"That time… It was both of you huh… You two will indeed be the best strikers that J-League need" thought Nakaoka as he goes away with the police around him
Shinichi and Conan go out from the stadium and see the detective boys who are waiting for their friend
"Conan-kun!" shout three of them
"You guys… You guys really are the best" said Conan smiling
"Hehehe"
"Genta, sorry about your ball"
"It's fine, we did save many people with that! Detective boys rules!' shout Genta happily
"Oohh!" shout Ayumi and Mitsuhiko happily
Conan just laugh by the situation, Haibara goes to his side and look at the bloody sleeves
"Seriously, you always get injured on every case you do" said Haibara unhappy
"Hahaha… cut me some slack" said Conan giggle
Shinichi slowly goes to the ambulance and ask for the medic to quickly patch his head injury and some of his knees wounds without Conan noticing
"You injured your head, Shinichi?" asked Professor Agasa
"Yeah, glad that Conan didn't see it when the blood comes out. He finds it traumatic seeing me bloody from my head" said Shinichi as the medic start to do their job
"Still, that was a close call Shinichi, you really did yourself"
"No, it was Detective boys victory. Conan really have great friends and partners when it comes to cases"
Professor Agasa and Shinichi smile as they look at Detective boys who seem very happy by their achievement saving hundreds of people from the bombs. Suddenly Kogoro and Inspector Megure arrive to the scene in surprised
"Kudou-kun!" shout Inspector Megure
"Keibu, everything is fine now… Only this Touto Stadium that explodes" said Shinichi as he did treating his wound
"The culprit?" asked Kogoro
"Nakaoka Kazumasa-san… His motive is Motoura-san's son"
"Tomofumi-kun?"
"Nakaoka-san was also close with Tomofumi-kun. That's why he challenges you Occhan. He didn't know that you were saving someone when you stop Tomofumi-kun's ambulance"
"I see…
"Still, great job saving the day again Kudou-kun" said Inspector Megure smiling
"No... this time, the achievement goes to Detective boys" said Shinichi as he looks at detective boys shouting happily and the medic team taking care Conan's wound with Haibara beside him
Inspector Megure and Kogoro just look confused but no one knows that Kogoro is clenching his fists under his pocket
"There it is again, I made them hurt… Even protecting my daughter that should be my job" thought Kogoro angrily
Inspector Megure then hold Kogoro's shoulder to which he seems to notice his friend change of behavior
"Mouri-kun, there will be a time for you to repay them. For now, you should be glad that everything turn out alright" said Inspector Megure in low voice so Shinichi didn't hear them
"Yeah… I know" said Kogoro as he looks serious to both Shinichi and Conan
With that, the J-League bombing that challenges Mouri Kogoro and almost killed all soccer supporters are officially over.

Special for one year anniversary of this series, I mark this chapter as the longest chapter that we ever publish for Brother Adventures! (*Side story is not count)
It's been a year since we publish this series in Fanfictionnet. Thank you so much for everyone who like and follow this series from the start we publish until now. I thought that this series will not be taken well since I thought everyone already used to the original plot which is "Shinichi and Conan are the same person". I never thought many of my friends and readers also like to see the Alternate Universe of where Shinichi and Conan are brothers. I almost want to abandon this series in the beginning but when I got reviews for this series encouraging me are basically my kick to continue updating even though I can only update only like 2-3 chapters each month now.
I know this series is very lacking from either grammar, original-made storyline and official storyline but I hope my friends and readers can understand this series and we will continue to grow. My hope for next year, I can manage to make and publish chapters of original-made storyline like Shinichi's first time meeting Conan when he's still one year old, New York case and Conan's life in LA before moving to Japan. I also want to publish the Movie that I always mention in this series but never publish the whole chapter about it... Movie 14. Lots of plans for the future and I hope we can manage to do all of it... If we can't do it then, we will do it in the 2nd year of this series!
