"So how many matches you need to do?" asked Conan as he prepared a cup
"Tomorrow is the last one" said Shinichi as he read a newspaper
It was already nighttime, Shinichi and Conan are inside their house. Shinichi has been having friendly soccer matches between school for two weeks. Just last Saturday, he won the match between his team and Haido High School soccer team
"Quite hectic huh… Tomorrow is weekend, yet you have another friendly match" said Conan as he gives a cup of hot tea to Shinichi
"Well can't be helped, our captain really want for us to get ready for anything" said Shinichi giggle
"So where it will be?"
"This time, we're going to Ekoda. We will be having a match between our team and Ekoda High School"
"I see…"
Suddenly Conan's phone rings, which to be from Ran
"Hello? What's wrong Ran-neechan?" asked Conan as he sits on the sofa
"Ah Conan-kun, do you have any plans tomorrow?" asked Ran
"Hmmm nothing in particular, why?"
"Do you want to see Shinichi's friendly match tomorrow in Ekoda High School?"
"Hm? They are allowed to bring supporters?"
Conan looked at Shinichi in confused to which Shinichi slap his forehead
"Yes! Sonoko told me about it. What do you say Conan-kun?" asked Ran
"Alright then I will come as well" said Conan with a sinister smile
Conan then done talking with Ran and after that he slightly glare at Shinichi who seems trying to find a good excuse
"Ah well Conan-kun…" said Shinichi nervously
"Seriously, you didn't ask me to come yet Ran-neechan ask me. What is going on?" asked Conan who seems irritated
"I thought that you may not be interested… I mean, you didn't watch my match with Haido High last week"
"Fine then, I will not make your lunch tomorrow, so good luck finding food on your own. I hope you lose tomorrow"
"Eh?! Oi! I'm sorry!"
Conan ignore his apology and go straight to his room. Shinichi sigh as he looked at the empty cup in front of him
"What should I do… The chance of him meeting Kuroba again is very clear now. I don't have a choice, do I?" thought Shinichi sigh
Time Skip~
"Ehh Conan-kun is angry at you?!" shout Ran in front of the agency
Shinichi is meeting Ran before he goes straight to Ekoda using his bike. Conan said that he will go with his friends later with Professor Agasa's car, so he can go on first. He meet Ran first to tell about what happen between him and Conan
"Yeah, I'm doomed now… He didn't give me lunch either" said Shinichi unhappy
"Well it is your fault for not inviting him faster than me" said Ran giggle
"That's why take responsibility for my lunch, Ran"
"Alright alright, in exchange, you have to win the match"
"Well I hope we can. Ekoda High did win last year soccer tournament after all, it will be hard"
"I'm sure you win. After all, Conan-kun will be there cheering for you, so that should be enough boost, right?"
"Hahaha if he cheered me on, well I'm going Ran, see you later"
"Alright!"
Shinichi quickly drove with his bike to Ekoda. Few moments later, he arrived in front of Ekoda High School and he tried to look for parking lot, but then he was greeted by unexpected person
"Kudou-kun right?" asked a girl
"You are… Ah! Nakamori-keibu's daughter!" said Shinichi remember
"Yes, my name is Nakamori Aoko! You better remember it next time. Are you here for the friendly match?" asked Aoko smiling
"Yes, I am a soccer player after all. May I ask where is the parking lot for students?"
"Actually, our school is prohibited to bring our own vehicle. If you want, you can park on the building over there. Follow me"
Aoko then lead him to a parking lot right beside the school. It seems it's a parking lot for the office near the school. Shinichi park his bike and then take his bag
"Thank you Nakamori-san" said Shinichi smile
"You can call me Aoko, so you don't get confuse with my dad. Let's go, I will lead you to the field" said Aoko smiling
"Alright Aoko-chan, let's go"
Shinichi and Aoko walk together to Ekoda High which seems invited some stares, both of them talk about Inspector Nakamori's latest Kid heist that Conan missed due to his injured shoulder which in exchange, Hakuba was presence in his stead and they almost got him, yet they failed again
"Your dad sure been through a lot" said Shinichi laugh
"Not as much as Conan-kun, I heard from Hakuba-kun that Conan-kun always one step ahead from my dad which make him always have one on one battle with Kid" said Aoko smile
"That's my relative after all. He poured all his skills on finding Kid in disguise, after all he's just a stupid and overconfident magician"
"I know right! He's a real jerk, he should have been caught early if he can't use magic"
"That can't be helped, he is a phantom thief after all" said someone behind them
Both of them look behind in shock, which to be Hakuba Saguru with a smile to them
"Hakuba/-kun!" said both Aoko and Shinichi
"You two sure are close" said Hakuba smiles
"We meet by chance near the gate. Kudou-kun is playing against our soccer team" said Aoko greet him
"Do you have something to do in school?" asked Shinichi
"Well, I want to watch the match since I heard our school is the best when it comes to sports" said Hakuba
"Ahahaha you're right" laugh Aoko
Far from them, some Ekoda students are looking toward the three
"Hey that's the famous high school detective, Kudou Shinichi right!" said one girl
"You're right! Is it because the friendly match between Teitan High School?" said other girl
"Hmmm interesting" thought one girl as she approached the three people
Aoko look at the girl who's approaching them and then wave at her
"Ah Akako-chan!' said Aoko happily
"Ah ra Ah ra Nakamori-san, Hakuba-kun. What do we have here?" asked Akako with a smile to them
Shinichi who sees Akako can't help to blush, which make Akako smile evilly. Hakuba also slightly blush but manage to hide it
"Ah where are my manners, my name is Koizumi Akako. Nice to meet you, Kudou-kun" said Akako smiling
"Kudou Shinichi… Nice to meet you too Koizumi-san" said Shinichi slightly blush as he greets her
"Oh yeah Kudou-kun, I think your friends are trying to call you"
Akako point at few boys who seems blushing looking at her which to be Shinichi's teammates and so he excuses himself as he goes to his teammates. Of course as predicted, the boys quickly ask Shinichi about Akako which is laughable
"Oi Kudou, you sure you don't know her that much? She's hot!" said Nakamichi happily
"I don't know her, we just met today" said Shinichi sigh
"Oh yeah Kudou, you don't bring your usual three stack lunch?" asked Aizawa
"Ahh my brother got mad at me, so he didn't make me one"
"That's too bad, he made great lunch for you after all. You should apologize to him Kudou" said Nakamichi giggle
"Shut up…"
Time Skip~
The match is about to begin, so they are having a meeting together
"Okay, this is the positions for today. Kudou, can you be the midfielder for today?" asked Aizawa
"Sure, I can handle that" said Shinichi serious
"Alright guys, let's win today's match fair and square!"
"OOHH!" shout the whole team
Shinichi is already on his position waiting for the referee to put the ball, he looked to his front which see the most familiar face he didn't expect to see
"Kuroba?!" said Shinichi shock
"Hello there, Meitantei" said Kaito smirking
"Oi oi, you are one of the soccer player?!"
"Not really, one of their midfielder got into an accident yesterday, so they ask me to take his place since I sometimes help with the team"
"I see, then… Let me do the favor of fighting you here oh magician"
"With pleasure, let me warn you… Our team will win"
The two boys become serious which after that the ball was given and the match officially began. The cheering sound from each school practically resonance the whole school field. The match itself was very intense and as of half-time, the score was 4-3 with Ekoda High leading the score
"They are last year's winner for a reason" said Nakamichi as he's panting tiredly
"I never expect Kuroba will be this good, maybe dodging Conan's soccer ball train him to be like this" thought Shinichi serious
Shinichi look to the audience for Teitan High and see that Ran, Sonoko, Professor Agasa and Conan's friends are cheering him on, but he can't find his little brother anywhere. Ran notice Shinichi who's searching for Conan which she signal him to check his phone. The high schooler quickly take his bag to see his phone which he found a message from Ran saying that Conan has something to do which he might can't come to see him play. Shinichi quickly sigh as he gave a bitter smile
"Seriously, now I understand how Ran feels when one of your closest person are not here to see you play" thought Shinichi
"You seemed troubled?" asked someone from the audience near him which to be Hakuba
"Hakuba… Ah no, nothing. Your school is indeed a formidable opponent" said Shinichi smile as he goes closer to Hakuba
"Why thank you for the compliment, but it seems your mind is not here right?"
"As expected from the detective of London. You could say that…"
"Ehh Kudou-kun, are you not well?" asked Aoko as she goes closer to both Hakuba and Shinichi
"I'm fine, don't worry"
"The fight between the two lights huh… You might get an unpleasant surprise later" said someone
Three of them look at the source which to be Akako who close her eyes as she recited her words. Both Hakuba and Aoko just look at Akako confuse while Shinichi look surprised until Kaito comes to them
"Let her be, she's always weird" said Kaito unhappy
"Well sorry for being off" said Akako slightly unhappy
"Ah Kaito, good work out there" said Aoko smiles
"It was hard, beating this guy sure is tiring" said Kaito pointing at Shinichi
"Oi are you mocking me" said Shinichi unhappy
Ran and Sonoko who notice that Shinichi seems talking with students of Ekoda High got them interested
"Nee Ran, that's the detective we meet in one of Kid-sama's heist right?" asked Sonoko
"You're right, if I remembered, his name is Hakuba Saguru" said Ran
"It seems Shinichi-kun is hitting well with him and his friends"
"You could say so, we can always ask Shinichi to introduce us to them later"
"Alright!"
"But it's too bad that Conan-kun couldn't join us" said Mitsuhiko
"Yeah, if he's here then Tantei-niichan should win" said Genta as he ate some snacks
"Can't be helped, he was called after all" said Haibara
"I feel bad for Shinichi-oniisan. I'm sure he wants Conan-kun here to cheer him on" said Ayumi in sad look
"He got what he deserves, one time he left Ran when she was having a Karate championship for a case. He should feel what it feels like to not be watched" said Sonoko harshly
"That's quite evil you know" said Professor Agasa
"But why did Nakamori-keibu call him out… There's no Kaito Kid notice right?" asked Ran confused
"Even I don't understand" said Sonoko confused
Suddenly Professor Agasa's phone rings which he quickly answered. Few seconds later, Professor Agasa's face change to pale, and he close his phone
"I'm sorry Ran-kun but can you look after the kids for me" said Professor Agasa serious
"It's okay, what's wrong?" asked Ran
"There's something I have to do, Ai-kun come with me"
"Eh?" asked Haibara surprise
Both Professor Agasa and Haibara quickly ran out from the audience, which confuse the rest. The match continues with formidable play. Both teams trying their best until the end of the match, which let out the audience to cheer them on even louder. Aoko look at her phone which she got a message from his dad to give her some change of clothes in Ekoda Hospital
"What's wrong Nakamori-san?" asked Akako
"Ah no, my dad ask me to bring him change of clothes in Ekoda Hospital… I wonder why he's there" said Aoko confuse as she messaged him back
"Hmmmm"
The match ends with a draw of 5-5 which they have to do a penalty to figure out the winner. Both teams are trying to strategize their plan to win and the crowd goes louder. In the penalty, Ekoda made a mistake of making a missing goal which leave the win for Teitan High in the hand of Kudou Shinichi. The high schooler put the ball in front of him and look at the goalkeeper serious
"Come on Shinichi-kun!" shout Sonoko
"Shinichi!" shout Ran as well
"Go!" shout Genta, Mitsuhiko and Ayumi
"Kudou! You can do it, Kudou!" shout Nakamichi behind him with his teammates
Shinichi take a quick breath as he goes to position, suddenly his mind was interrupted. He felt something is off, very off. His heart started to beat faster and his mind suddenly goes to his little brother instead of the match
"What is this… Why am I feeling something is wrong…" thought Shinichi as he holds his head
Ran who notice Shinichi change of behavior can't help to worry
"Shinichi…" thought Ran worried as she held her hands praying
Shinichi quickly shake his head and focus again on the front
"No, I can't think of it now… After this, I will properly apologize to Conan… Maybe I can feel better after that"
Shinichi take another breath and this time he toward the ball and kick it to the goal, he closes his eyes and suddenly he heard a cheering sound and so he looked up which to find the ball inside the net which means his team just win the friendly match
"KUDOU! YOU WIN IT!" shout all his teammates as they run to Shinichi
"OI OI HOLD ON!" shout Shinichi angrily
Kaito who see just smile at his lost with Shinichi. He quickly walked toward Shinichi ask to shake his hand, Shinichi smile as he shook back
"You win it this time, but there will be no second win" said Kaito smirking
"Oh you're on Kuroba-kun" said Shinichi smirking
"Just Kuroba is fine"
After both Teitan High and Ekoda High shake their hands to each other, Shinichi and Kaito are sitting on the bench. Ran, Sonoko and three kids goes to him immediately
"Good work out there Shinichi" said Ran smiling
"Yeah, it was tiring" said Shinichi as he took his bag
"Great job on losing, Kuroba" said Hakuba who comes to them along with Akako and Aoko
"Shut up" said Kaito unhappy
"Oh let me introduce you, this is Kuroba Kaito, Nakamori Aoko and Koizumi Akako. They are Hakuba's friends. You guys, this is my childhood friends, Suzuki Sonoko and Mouri Ran. These kids are my relative's friends, Kojima Genta, Tsuburaya Mitsuhiko and Yoshida Ayumi" said Shinichi introducing
"Nice to meet you" said Ran, Sonoko and three kids
"Ah nice to meet you!" said Aoko happily
"Nice to meet you ladies" said Kaito as he gives roses to Ran, Sonoko and Ayumi
"Oi oi" thought Shinichi
"Leave him be, he's a magician after all" said Hakuba
"I see, a magician huh just like Kaito Kid then!" said Sonoko happily
"Maybe, but he's better than me" said Kaito smiling
"Ahaa you are very sure there, Kuroba" said Hakuba smirking
Kaito just look annoyed by Hakuba, Aoko just laugh by the situation while Akako just look smirking to them. Akako then left them alone saying she has something to do, which they bid farewell. Aoko bend down to the kids
"Nee, if you guys here then Conan-kun is here as well?" asked Aoko to them
"No, Conan can't come" said Genta shake his head
"He was called by Nakamori-keibu, maybe Kid notice arrive?" said Mitsuhiko
"Eh?" asked Shinichi, Aoko, Kaito and Hakuba surprised
Shinichi look at Kaito which he shook his head without everyone notice. Aoko on the other hand look surprised
"Wait, my dad did?" asked Aoko surprised
"Dad? You're Nakamori-keibu's daughter?" asked Sonoko surprised
"Ah yes… Dad did message me earlier that he needed some change of clothes but weirdly that, he's now in Ekoda Hospital"
"Hospital? Did he get hurt?" asked Hakuba serious
"No, he said someone got hit-and-run right in front of him, so he is looking after the victim"
"Oi oi, that coincidence…" said Kaito began to look serious
"Now that you mention it, Professor Agasa and Ai-chan left just now saying they have something to do…" said Ayumi
Shinichi heartbeat start to get faster and his mind start to play negative scenarios due to the coincidence. Suddenly a phone rings which to be Aoko's phone it seems from his dad
"Hello dad?!" asked Aoko worried
"Ah Aoko, is the match over?" asked Inspector Nakamori serious
"Yes… What's wrong dad?"
"Do you know Kudou Shinichi? Is he still in your school"
"Eh? Kudou-kun?"
Shinichi look serious as he looked to Aoko which Aoko gets it and give him her phone
"Hello keibu, this is Kudou" said Shinichi serious
"Ah Kudou-kun! Actually there is something you need to know" said Inspector Nakamori serious

At Ekoda Hospital
Shinichi run with his might in the hospital with worried look plastered on his face as he remembered the call between him and Inspector Nakamori
"Conan-kun got into a hit-and-run case, but we manage to catch the culprit thanks to him. He's now in Ekoda Hospital for treating his wound"
Shinichi found the room, and he quickly open it which greeted by the unconscious form of his little brother on the bed with Inspector Nakamori and Haibara looking after him
"Conan!" said Shinichi as he goes to his side
"He's asleep for now, luckily he managed to dodge the culprit, but he wounded his head due to that" said Inspector Nakamori
"Edogawa-kun manage to throw a transmitter to the car who hit him and with Professor's help, the police manage to catch the culprit of the hit-and-run" said Haibara serious
"Why didn't you tell me or the others about this?" asked Shinichi in anger
"Sorry Kudou-kun… Before the boy passed out, he told me not to tell anyone beside Professor Agasa and his little friend. He did mention you have an important soccer match when I talk with him before the incident" said Inspector Nakamori
"Baka… How can I focus on the match when you said you are going to be there, yet you didn't" thought Shinichi as he held Conan's hand in worried
"But the culprit is already with the police right? Then why are you still here?" asked Haibara to Inspector Nakamori
"There's a possibility that the hit-and-run culprit is just an underling. Conan-kun may have been targeted by the real culprit, so I will look after him to prevent anything happen" said Inspector Nakamori serious
"But why the culprit is after Conan… Does it have to do with my previous cases?" thought Shinichi worried
Shinichi look serious to Conan until suddenly he noticed a jacket on a chair which to be Conan's size, but it's the first time he sees this jacket. He looked to the counter and found a book which Conan would never read, so he quickly inspected it, and he found something shocking inside the book which confirm his suspicious
"Haibara, do you know this jacket?" asked Shinichi as he pointed at Conan's jacket
"Ah yes… When Edogawa-kun and I got to the Beika shopping center month ago, he found liking to the pattern and then he ordered it. I heard from the staff that it's limited edition pattern that they only produce three jackets. I think he got it just last week and wear it for the first time today" said Haibara remembered
"What is the store name? Nakamori-keibu, can you look into it for me?"
"Alright"
Inspector Nakamori quickly call his subordinates to look into it after Haibara told him the store. Haibara find it confuse until Shinichi show a threat note inside the book. It says that…

Decline the inheritance or you will be killed!
Haibara then understand to which means the possibility of them misunderstood Conan as someone else by his appearance or in this case, his jacket that he just wear today. Inspector Nakamori manage to get the number of the store which Shinichi quickly call the store for information
"Hello? Do you remember about the limited edition jacket that you sold?" asked Inspector Nakamori
"Yes, we made the jacket just for three people who ordered it beforehand. The two order got their jacket in just one week after they order but the last one, we just give it to him last week due to different size" said the shopkeeper
"Beside me who just called you, is there someone who ask the same about it?"
"Yes, two days ago someone ask for information of the three customers in person. He said that he was looking for his family, and they happen to have that jacket"
Shinichi and Haibara who overhear the whole time sense that it must be a lie to get the information. Inspector Nakamori then told the shopkeeper to give him the information as well, and he will go there to get it for investigation purpose, which the shopkeeper agrees.
Time Skip~
Ran, Sonoko and detective boys arrive and shock to see Conan in the hospital bed. Shinichi and Haibara explain everything to them, since Inspector Nakamori is going to the shop to get the information.
"But why both of you went the shopping center?" asked Genta confused
"Edogawa-kun owe me some payment in exchange helping him to find information about one case" said Haibara smirking
"Must be Fusae Brand bag" said Shinichi half laugh
"I see… I'm glad that Conan-kun is fine" said Ran relief
"Yeah, he will discharge tomorrow so don't worry. For now, he's just asleep after being treated"
"I'm glad…" said Ayumi
"Haibara, you can go home now with the others. Thank you for looking after him"
"Alright… Be careful after this" said Haibara as she gets up
"Yes"
All of them quickly goes home leaving only Shinichi staying alone looking after Conan. Few moments later, Inspector Nakamori comes in with papers in his hand
"Ah Kudou-kun, this is the information of the customers" said Inspector Nakamori as he handed the papers
"Thank you Nakamori-keibu" said Shinichi as he took it
Shinichi read the information closely, which only have phone number and email information. Besides that, it also shows the size of the ordered jacket. Which means, the culprit must have look into three of them closely until he decided that Conan is the one they after
Suddenly, Inspector Nakamori's subordinate came in after meeting the two customers
"Keibu! I just meet the other two based on the information. The first customer name is Harawaki Tetsuo, he's a CEO of a talent agency. He initially bought the jacket for his clothes collection. The second customer name is Nishida Kyoko, she's a housewife and her husband is an owner of a game company. She said that the pattern caught her interest, so she ordered it as well" said the subordinate
"I see… so did they have similar situation like Conan-kun?" asked Inspector Nakamori
"Both of them did confess that once they feel like someone is stalking them for a while"
"It must be the culprit then" said Shinichi serious
Few moments later, Aoko and Kaito comes to Conan's room since Inspector Nakamori did ask her to give him some change of clothes
"Aoko…" said Inspector Nakamori surprised
"Dad… Conan-kun will be fine right?" asked Aoko worried
"Don't worry, he's just asleep after his wounds are treated. The doctor just said that they will overlook him overnight, so he can discharge tomorrow"
Kaito who sees the menacing aura can't help to shiver by the attitude of the high schooler who seems to be looking at Conan seriously
"Keibu… I have a plan to catch the culprit, can I have your cooperation?" asked Shinichi serious
"Alright" said Inspector Nakamori agreeing
Time Skip~
At midnight, Inspector Nakamori is going out from the room and walk away. A shadow quickly come closer to the room and goes inside. He goes to the hospital bed with knife on his hand
"I warn you, little boy… You should have decline!" thought the shadow as he shoves the knife
Just as he open the blanket, much to his surprise to see a pillow instead of a body. Suddenly, someone shoved a gun to the shadow's head
"Katayama Ishida! You are under arrest for hit-and-run of a young boy!" said Inspector Nakamori
"How… The sign says the boy is here" said Ishida confused
"We trick you of course…" said someone
Ishida look to the front which to be Shinichi who's glaring at him
"The boy actual room is actually one floor above, we use this room to trap you right now" said Shinichi serious
"No way I will get down easily!" shout Ishida as he shoves the gun and run away
Just as Ishida open the door, Kaito was already in front of the room and then shove him down to the ground. Kaito then sigh in relief as he caught the culprit with his hand before he run away. Shinichi smile in relief seeing the situation
"Thank you Kuroba-kun for the help" said Shinichi smile
"Don't worry Kudou, he did mess with my rival too" said Kaito smirking in low voice without Inspector Nakamori hearing it
"If only Conan knows about it"
"Haha"
Ishida then was taken away by the other subordinates since Inspector Nakamori still going to look after Conan in case of something happen so three of them on their way to Conan's room
"I see, so they thought Edogawa-kun is the person who got the inheritance due to being one of the three customers who bought that limited edition jacket?" asked Kaito
"Yes, according to my subordinate who investigate more about this, it seems the late owner of this big department store got help by someone when he was lost in the city. The only thing he remembered was that jacket, he was in debt by that person to which he wrote in his will that he will give all of his inheritance to that person since he can't trust his own family. His own son, Katayama Ishida on the other hand, didn't accept the outcome" said Inspector Nakamori
"Interesting, where did he find this information?" asked Shinichi
"It seems he asked the shopkeeper on who ask the information beforehand which turn out to be a lawyer of that late owner"
"So in the end, what will happen to that inheritance?" asked Kaito
"It turns out, the one who get it should be Harawaki-san, but he told the lawyer that he don't deserve it and I don't know the rest of the details"
"I'm just glad everything is alright now"
Shinichi smile as he looked to the front, and he saw the sight that broke his poker face immediately. Conan was waiting for him with Aoko looking after him in front of the door. Shinichi who sees the sight quickly run to him and hug him. Conan smiled as he hug him back
"Sorry for worrying you" said Conan with a soft smile
"No it's fine… I'm just glad that you're okay, I'm sorry for making you angry yesterday" said Shinichi in low voice
"You still hung up to that, I'm not that angry with that"
"Still… It really scares me out"
"Did you win the friendly match?"
Shinichi let go of Conan and then smile to him
"Of course I won… You should have seen me give the last penalty shoot" said Shinichi smirk
"I knew you would win" said Conan relief
Shinichi hug him again, but this time it catches Conan off guard. He just let him stay hug him for a while until he satisfied
"I know you did it for me, but please don't do it again. I was shock when I heard from Aoko-chan about the hit-and-run" said Shinichi as he about to cry
"I'm sorry… I will try my best I guess…" said Conan
"Baka, just say promise"
"I don't want to give a promise I can't keep… You also did that to me too after all"

Inspector Nakamori, Aoko and Kaito who look at the sight can only smile seeing the family bond between them
"They sure look like brothers" said Inspector Nakamori
"Well they are…" thought Kaito smirking
"Aoko-chan, thank you for looking after my relative" said Shinichi as he let go
"Thank you, Aoko-neechan" said Conan smile
"It's fine, I'm just glad everything is over now" said Aoko smiles
"Still I'm surprised that both of you are acquaintances with Kudou-kun" said Inspector Nakamori to both Aoko and Kaito
"We meet by chance few weeks prior"
"Just a big coincidence" said Kaito smiling
Shinichi and Kaito smirk to each other after what he said. Conan and Aoko just look confuse at the two and they look at each other and smile. And with that, the hit-and-run case is over. Both Kaito and Aoko then goes home while Inspector Nakamori is calling someone outside which leave the brothers inside the room
"Still, why Nakamori-keibu is looking into this case? Usually it's the first division who take on this kind of case" said Shinichi sit beside him
"Nakamori-keibu happen to walk close with me when it happens so he told the headquarters that he will take the case as the police who find it for the first time" said Conan
"I see, then… Why did Nakamori-keibu call you? Kid didn't send any notice after all"
"No… it's not about Kaito Kid this time"
Conan close his eyes as he said it which grab the high schooler attention by the change of behavior
"Niichan have you heard… About Lupin III?" said Conan serious as he looked at Shinichi
