THE NEXT MORNING
Harry woke up early next morning and went to prepare breakfast...Just as he was finishing the breakfast Mrs. granger walked down still a little sleepy..
"Good morning Mrs. Granger, breakfast is almost done." Harry greeted Mrs granger handing her her coffee..
"Thank you Harry, but you didn't have to prepare breakfast, you are our guest here... Hmm, I must say this coffee tastes great... "Emma replied drinking her coffee
"No problem Mrs. Granger i had to do something in return for all the help you are doing for me i don't know what i would have done otherwise."
"Nonsense Harry, you are always welcome here and please call me Emma, Mrs. Granger kind of makes me feel old and you can call Hermione's dad Danielle."
"Good morning Emma, good morning harry" Danielle greeted the both of them coming down the stairs...
"Good morning Mr. Granger." Harry greeted back giving Danielle his cup of coffee.
"Thank you Harry and oh don't try waking up Hermione. She usually gets up late during the holidays... "
Harry nodded in agreement although he was surprised to hear that Hermione wakes up late during the holidays.. He always thought that Hermione was an early riser...
2 HOURS LATER
Harry was sitting on the couch watching T.V when Hermione came down the stairs still in her P.J'S.
"Morning sleeping beauty. Your breakfast is in the kitchen." Harry greeted cheerfully.
"Morning Harry. Did you wake up early?" Hermione asked sitting next to him on the couch with her breakfast.
"Yeah i kind of thought i could prepare breakfast, you know as a way to thank your parents for letting me stay here. So, do you like my pancakes?"
"Yeah Harry, they taste great thank you" Hermione replied giving him a kiss on his cheek surprising them both..
"Ah.. so...w...what would you like to do today after finishing your breakfast." Harry asked regaining his composure.
"Hmm. hey Harry can you help me cook some cookies, after that we can go outside and take a stroll in the park." Hermione replied.
"Sure Mione, it will be fun. Besides, i will get to teach you something for the first time. It is kind of exciting you know, being able to tech something to the brightest witch of her century..."
Hermione just poked her tongue at him and walked into the kitchen to pick out the ingredients necessary for preparing cookies (A/N: i don't know how to make cookies so I am not mentioning any Ingredients in here...).
Harry's P.O.V
Me and Hermione were in the kitchen and she was currently mixing the batter for the cookies and i couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked. I just can't stop staring at her but i realize i am not supposed to do keep staring because she probably loves Ron just like Ginny told him.
Oh seriously Harry why do you think Hermione loves a person who keeps insulting her and makes her feel disappointed each and every hour of the day...
But, Ginny said that Hermione told her that she loves Ron. She also told told me that Hermione and Ron are dating.
Oh! Bugger off Harry are you really that dumb. Don't you know that Hermione will never keep any secrets from you? She will always be honest with and on the other hand never believe Ginny; she will play all types of dirty games to win your heart...
But, how will know if Hermione is dating Ron or not. I can't just go and ask her now can I?
Why not?

Oh alright...Here goes nothing
"Hey Hermione can I ask you something?"
"Yeah Harry what is it?"
"Are you and Ron dating?"
There you go easy as a cake. Shut up! She looks shocked oh probably because she got caught by me maybe she thought that I would never find out. I should have known this was a bad idea. This is all your fault
Shut up idiot look at her she is not shocked, she is laughing her socks off

Harry's P.O.V
"Her..Hermione?" Harry asks with uncertainty written all over his voice...
"Gi...Giv.. Give me a second harry" Hermione says in between giggles
"Al..Alright... From Where did you get this ridicolous idea of me and Ron dating Harry?"Hermione asks once she had calmed down.
"Ginny told me.. She told me that Ron asked you out after our time travel incident and she also said that you kissed him after...
"What!Why did she that? And for your information Harry I never dated Ron nor have I kissed anyone...I love Ron only like a brother.. I assure you I have no romantic feelingsfor him whatsoever."
Harry
I released a breath I never knew I had been holding. I felt relieved to know that Ron and Hermione were not dating... But why would Ginny lie to me then?
Don't you get it, piggy has a huge crush on you but she also knows that you fancy Hermione so she gave you wrong information about Hermione so that you will stop dreaming about her and start looking for someone else. Aaand Ginny was positive that you will surely fall for her once Hermione is out of the way...And I am sure that that eating machine von-von would have helped her. Remember he too lied to you about this when you asked him...
Yeah you are right, which means I have to be more and more careful around the Weasley family now... I have a strong feeling that Molly has also put her dirty hands to work in here and i fear that she will not hesitate to use any dirty tricks to accomplish her little girl's dream. Which so happens to be her getting married to me which I have no intention of fulfilling..
General P.O.V
A handful of batter thrown to his face interrupted Harry from his thoughts. He looked over to see Hermione standing there with a cute smirk on her face...
"Hey potter back to Earth are we?" Hermione asks with a smirk still planted on her face...
"OH you are going to pay for that one Granger" Harry replied tossing a handful of batter back at Hermione...
This started a whole batter fight between the two best friends... Both of them were now covered with batter from head to toe and the whole kitchen is a mess. In the end, Harry now has Hermione pinned to the wall..
"Harry let me go" Hermione said trying to escape from Harry's strong grip which turned out to fruitless as he tightened his hold on her keeping her pinned to the wall...
"I got you now Mi" Harry said with his famous lopsided grin...
The teens were now looking into each other's eyes and were lost to the rest to the world... Harry was unknowingly leaning towards Hermione, his lips mere inches apart from her's. Hermione could feel Harry's breath tickling her skin sending a shiver down her spine...
