HERITAGE
The next morning
Gringott's Director office.
"Good morning Mr. Potter, Ms. Granger and Lord Dumbledore.. What brings you to the humble office of Gringotts?" The director asked directing the three of them to their respective seats..
"Greetings director, may your vaults overflow with gold... We have arrived here to discuss an important matter. I would like to conduct a heritage test on both Harry and Hermione.. We would also like to read Harry's parents wills.." Dumbledore informed the director..
"Very well, I can arrange that. Please wait for a few minutes.." The director replied and tapped the bell on his desk. A goblin immediately came inside and spoke to the director in goblin language.. The goblin left and came back after some time with two other goblins who were holding two cauldrons of heritage potions. He ordered them to place it in the adjoining room and the three goblins left the director and his clients after giving them a bow...
"Come with me Mr Potter and Ms. Granger" The director told gesturing them towards the adjoining room..." I would like to collect a sample of both of your blood.. Can I? " The director asked showing them a small knife (real small). The two teens nodded their heads in agreement and the director took both of their blood samples and placed it in the two cauldrons and informed the two teens to wait outside in his office..
2 minute later, the director walked into his office carrying two pieces of parchment in his hands..
"This is a surprise. It seems that Mr Potter is the heir of gryffindor from his father's side and the heir of Sytherin from his mother's side and as for Ms. granger, you are the heir of Ravenclaw from your mother's side... Seems like you weren't a muggleborn as you thought to be Ms. Granger. I believe that magic was long lost in your family and all the other members of your family became squibs until you were born and restored the magic to your family blood...And as for you Mr. potter, your mother is distant relative of Salazar.."
Harry and Hermione were both shocked to hear this.. Hermione never in her life thought that anyone in her family other than herself could be magical... Harry, on the other hand, was shocked to hear that he was related to Salazar Slytherin...
"That explains your ability to speak parseltongue Harry and don't you remember, the sorting hat said that you would do better if you were in Slytherin" Hermione said breaking the silence..
"Yeah, it does make sense now.. But, i can't believe that i am related to Slytherin.. I mean really?"
"Salazar was not a bad person like everyone thinks Harry. He was an ambitious person... He believed in purity, but not in blood purity as everyone thought him to be... He wanted the education provide to his students to be pure... I can assure you, had he been alive he would have been ashamed about the way his Slytherin students are behaving right now.." Dumbledore added his own opinion to the conversation...
"Yes Mr. Potter, Lord Slytherin constructed the chamber of secrets to protect and provide a home to his familiar. He had no intention of hurting anybody..." The director said..
"Sir, what about about Hermione? How is she related to Rowena?" Harry asked.
"It seems that Mr. Potter, Rowena Ravenclaw's son got married to a beautiful and brilliant witch who was his best friend and they had two beautiful children. One boy and one girl. The boy was not like the other child. He had very little magic in him. He didn't like the magical world as they often bullied him and called him a 'squib'. So,with the the help of his mother he left the wizarding world and left to live with the muggles. He lead a very happy life and married a beautiful women who was a squib. For generations, none of their children showed any magical abilities. The Ravenclaw family was believed to be lost... until now.." The director replied looking at Hermione.
"What about the Girl child?" Hermione asked.
"Unfortunately, she was found dead. Nobody knows how she died." The director said.
"I remember now, the Sorting hat did say that I would have been the perfect Ravenclaw."
"True miss granger. You would have made Rowena proud." Albus said.
"Now moving onto business, we can read your parents will " The director said clapping his hands together. An official looking parchment came out of thin air and he held it in his hands.
"Shall we ?" The directed enquired
Harry nodded his head in agreement..
(A/N: I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT IS IN HARRY'S PARENTS WILL, SO I AM SKIPPING IT.. PLEASE FORGIVE ME)
Harry was shocked after hearing his parents will. First, he learned that he is extremely rich(like way too much for a 14 year old kid) and secondly, he now had evidence to prove that Sirius Black, his godfather was innocent as his parents had revealed in the will that Peter Pettigrew was their secret keeper..
"Professor.." Harry started
"Yes Harry, i will speak with Amelia as soon as i drop you both at Ms. granger's house.." Dumbledore replied...
"Thank you Professor.."
"So, Mr. Potter and Ms. Granger, would you like to claim your heritages and become Lord Gryffindor-Slyhterin-Potter and Lady Ravenclaw respectively."
Harry and Hermione looked into each other's eyes and had silent conversation...

"Yes, we agree.. We both agree to claim our Heritage." Hermione voiced both of their thoughts
"Very well, here you go" The director responded giving each of them a box..
Harry opened his box to find two rings inside.. One with the Gryffindor and Potter emblem and the other with a S imprinted on it..(PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT HE RING WHICH CONTAINS THE HORCRUX, THIS IS A DIFFERENT ONE..)
Hermione did the same and found a single ring with a R imprinted on it..
They both took the rings and placed it on their fingers.. Soon enough, they were both engulfed by a golden light which shown bright for some time and began to fade slowly.. When the light was completely faded, Hermione looked at her fingers to see that her ring had resized to fit her perfectly.. Harry did the same only to find that the two rings had molded into one to form a single ring with the Gryffindor, Potter and Slytherin symbols held together in one frame.. (much like the Hogwarts emblem)
"Congratulations Lord Potter-Gryffindor-Slytherin and Lady Ravenclaw.. You both are as of now emancipated and legally declared as adults.. You too are now free to perform magic as per as your wish, and Lord Potter-Gryffindor-Slytherin, this is a gift from your father. He had handed me this before his death and told me instructed me to give this to you when you are emancipated. It will hatch within 5 days.." The director said handing Harry a familiar egg..
"Thank you director." Harry replied gratefully..
"Thank you for your cooperation director, come children i have to take you homer Mr and Mrs. Granger are waiting for you both. Please hold onto me.." Dumbledore said and once again they all left in a flash of fire...
THE GRANGER HOUSE
Harry and Hermione arrived in the house in a burst of flames startling the Grangers.. Dumbledore had already left to meet Amelia bones..
"Where have you both been?" Mrs Granger asked.
"Hi mom, hi dad. We were both at Gringotts. You wouldn't believe what happened."
And so, Harry and Hermione explained everything from discovering their heritage to being emancipated to the Grangers..
"i can't believe it.. I was magical and i never even realized it? I am going inside the kitchen, I need something strong to clear my head" Mrs granger said rubbing her temples..
"I am also coming Emma. I have to clear my head too.." Dan said following Emma into the kitchen..
"Well i guess everything changes now, won't it Mi?" Harry asked holding Hermione close to him...
"Yeah Harry everything is going to , I will always be there with you until the very end.." Hermione said laying her head on Harry's shoulder..
