Akira had walked into UA like he owned the damn place. He had sauntered on up to the 1A door and pulled it open with a casual grace you couldn't get from practice, it was all natural. He knew he was flaunting, and he didn't give a shit. He would flaunt if he damn well pleased. He walked into the class to see an argument in progress, he ignored it. He honestly couldn't care less. He sat in his seat and propped his feet up while leaning back, he felt like a million yen. He noticed he was sitting next to a girl that seemed to have audio jacks coming from her earlobes. He put a casual smile on his face and called her attention over, "hey", she turned to face him, "I didn't expect a cutie like you to be in here what's your name?" She blushed at the compliment and stuttered out, "K-kyoka Jiro." His smile broadens, "nice to meet you Jiro, I'm Akira Takami." She tried to hide in her purple bangs as her jacks tapped together, "n-nice to meet you too." She was obviously still flustered from the compliment, and Akira was loving it. 'I know I said she was cute, but this is almost more than I can handle! Oh, I've got to make her mine.' He was snapped out of his thoughts by someone yelling at him, "You there! Why are your feet on the desk? That's disrespectful!" Akira scowled at him, "yeah? Well so is yelling in someone's face."

The blue haired kid bowed, "ah, I apologize, I am Tenya Iida from Somei Academy." He was going to continue, but Akira put a wing in front of his mouth, "Yeah, I'm gonna stop you right there. Why in any of the levels of hell should I accept your apology? First you call me out at the explanation of the practical, and now this? And you don't seem like you mean it either, so I'm going to ask you to kindly fuck off. I don't know how other people have taken your bullshit, but I'm not. Now get the fuck away from me." As soon as he finished speaking, Akira noticed that the room had gone quiet, apparently the other students had gone quiet to listen to his mini-rant. Someone near the front of the room cleared their throat, It was a bedraggled and frankly homeless looking man. "You got them to shut up, thanks for that. I'm Shouta Aizawa, your homeroom teacher", he pulled some gym uniforms from seemingly nowhere, "put these on and meet me on the field."

Akira got up, grabbed a uniform, and went to change. He had been the first to go and as a result was the first student on the field. He nodded to their teacher and waited for all the others. He smirked when he noticed the look on Iida's face, it was a mix of confusion and anger, and it was priceless. Akira turned back to the teacher as he called for their attention. "today, we'll be doing a Quirk Apprehension Test." Someone called out, "what about orientation?" The teacher's gaze hardened, "we've got three years to turn you into heroes, and every second counts. Orientation is a waste of precious time, so we're doing this instead. This will give a baseline of where you're at with your abilities and form a foundation for future improvements." He turns to Akira, "Takami, you scored first in the entrance exam, come over here." Akira did so with a smirk of satisfaction at the reactions of his classmates, especially Iida's, to the fact he had snatched first in the practical of the entrance exam. He stopped in front of the teacher and caught the ball that was tossed to him, "What was your farthest record for the softball throw?" Akira cracks his neck, "67 meters", Aizawa nods and gestures to the circle, "use your quirk this time, anything goes as long as you're in the circle." Akira smirks and pulls a long feather from his wing as he steps into the circle. He hardens the feather as he throws the ball straight up, and then hits it like a baseball. He didn't stop there though, he started plucking feathers and sending them after the ball. He controlled them until they were about to hit the ball at which point he hardened them for extra impact. He did this until the ball was out of his effective range.

When the ball hit the ground he turned to Aizawa to see his score, a clean 800 meters. He turned back and rejoined the ranks of his class, winking at Jiro along the way. She blushed and tried to hide her face while muttering, "stupid." Akira grinned and continued on with the tests along with his classmates. He scored pretty well in all of them thinking of interesting solutions to the problems presented. For things like the dash and long-jump, he had no issues, he simply used his wings. For tests like grip strength however, he had to flex his creative muscle. He maneuvered a few feathers onto the machine and wrapped them around it along with his hand. When he squeezed his hand he also caused the feathers to squeeze as well as harden for that extra oomph. The testing continued as such, with an earlier threat of last place getting expelled hanging over their heads.

At the end of the testing, the scores were presented. Akira was happy (and a bit smug) to note that he had taken first. He glanced over at last place who was currently crying on the ground. He was a short boy with purple balls for hair, and he was begging Aizawa not to expel him. "Please Sensei! I haven't even gotten to touch a girl's bre-", he was suddenly cut off by some feathers poking into his neck. Akira was glaring down at him, "finish that sentence, I fucking dare you." Everything had gone eerily quiet. "I don't know about you, but I was taught to respect women. Say one more goddamn perverted word and I swear to every deity to ever exist I will make the remainder of your life make hell seem like an amusement park." No one spoke, no one dared move, some of them didn't even dare to breathe. Akira let the feathers fall to the ground as he walked away, the boy behind him passing out from fright. Aizawa cleared his throat, "I think you'll be happy to note that he is getting expelled." Akira nods and goes to change as Aizawa dismisses the rest of the class.

Aizawa was left to wonder, 'what the hell is up with that kid? That was the kind of bloodlust you only see in the worst of villains. Just who is he? And what does he want?'

(back in the classroom)

A boy with red spiky hair approached Akira, who was leaning back in his chair, feet propped up again. "Dude! How did you do that? It felt like I couldn't even move if I wanted to!" Akira shrugs, "I think it's really just a matter of presence and the right phrasing. I picked it up from my brother, he usually does it to the truly despicable villains." This caught everyone's attention, "no way dude! Your brother's a Pro Hero?" Akira mentally scolded himself for the slip-up, 'never give away more than necessary', he nods, "yeah, he's pretty good at his job too." The red haired kid, who Akira now remembered was named Kirishima, got an excited look in his eyes, "That's so cool dude! Which one is he?", Akira silently thanked the gods that he didn't look all that much like Keigo, he put on a sheepish look, "Ah, I've already said too much, he doesn't really like it when I talk about him." Kirishima looked disappointed but he nodded, "I understand, It's real manly that we get to work with someone related to a pro though!" The class banter continued with lighthearted conversations going on around him, but he could swear he felt someone's eyes on him.

When the final bell rang he packed his stuff and went to leave, but on the way past Jiro, "It saddens me that I'll have to leave your beautiful presence, but I do suppose that I'll see you again tomorrow", he walks out as she devolves into a flustered mess.

(back home)

Akira walks in to see Keigo already home, "well that's unusual, to what do I owe the pleasure of you being here?" The wing hero smirks, "Today was slow, so my sidekicks said they'll take over and let me get back home to you." Akira rolls his eyes, "honestly, I don't know why you insist on bragging about me to everyone you work with, It's unnecessary risk." Keigo chuckles, "I can't help it Akira, I'm just excited for when we finally get to work together." The younger of the two chuckles, "you better not forget to send that internship request birdbrain." The elder stands and puts an arm around his brother's shoulders, "don't worry, I won't. So, anything interesting happen at school today?" Akira smirks, "well, I met a cute girl." His brother's eyes widen as a look of excitement crosses his face, "oh please, do tell"

AN: another chapter down, this is honestly really fun to write and I'm glad to see at least a few people are enjoying it. With that, I'm gonna wish you all a good day/night/whatever, I'll see you next time.
