Gary-Stu Johnson

The tubes rose. I looked around. There were stands with colorfully lettered signs. A giant wheel loomed in the distance. In the place of a cornucopia, a prize rack with various toys, as well as supplies and weapons. I knew what this was, but I doubted people from the poorer districts did. We were in an amusement park. An explosion interrupted my thoughts.

Oedipus Daddario

That scrawny kid dared me to. I couldn't say no. I never said no to a dare. I jumped. A cannon fired. Was that mine? Wait, why can't I feel anything. Everything stopped.

Archimedes Einstein

He did it. He jumped. I predicted he would, and I was right. What a simpleton. I was perplexed by the piercing noise that followed. I realized it was a scream, from right next to me. I turned, and saw that a girl had shrieked. She jumped back, and a second explosion happened.

Pine Treé

OHMYGAWDHEDIED! I screamed and jumped back, terrified. I realized my mistake too late.

Sanguis Bellum

Blood splattered on my face. Oedipus was dead. What a moron. I understood not being able to wait to start killing, but I knew there were mines. Did he not? Oh well. More kills for me. I grinned at the thought and glared at the puny kid on my other side. I'd rip them apart. Or maybe I'd go after someone else first. I thought of a person.

Donald Jensen

30 seconds left. The games hadn't even started and two people were already dead. Well, I knew I could kill but I was glad a career was gone. I wasn't great at avoiding conflict.

Cameron Mazda

I was in between Myra and Sanguis. Both were looking at me. It was a matter of who got to me first. Sanguis looked away, and I was left with just Myra staring into my eyes. She winked at me. Please no. Please wake up Cameron. This is all a dream. Oh nononononononono. I started to cry. I was sobbing. It wasn't fair. I wanted to live.

Splinter Ironwood

On my right, a career. On my left, a feral child. He looked at me. I shook my head as he leaned towards me. He was going to jump at me. I didn't know how to stop him. Then he turned and stared at something.

Loom Weaver Basket

I was in a good place. The closest threat was Gary-Stu and there were two tributes between us. I didn't know if I should run in. How long would I last without supplies? I could get sponsors. But I might not. I looked around. I thought about allies. I could try and run across and see if Dora would ally. I hated to say it, but Cameron was a lost cause where he was. I just had to decide.

Power Luis Stores

I was ready. Maeve was right next to me. I'd go after her, and kill her. She was a career. She deserved to die. I could beat her. She wouldn't expect it. And I didn't need a weapon.

Delvin Devaruda

Crap. There was a career right next to me. I turned around and looked towards the way behind me. There were booths. There was also a patch of grass. And a knife lay in it. I formed a plan.

Strawberry McMuffin

Well that sucks. A chunk of the girl next to me was in my hair and I couldn't get it out. If I moved too much I might fall like she did. Ughhh I was gonna look terrible on TV!

Laicao Dust

Bright lights are pretty. What are they? I must watch. I heard a loud noise. People were moving.

Welp this was planned for a while. The arena is an amusement park! I don't have an exact map, but I'll try to keep things consistent. Good luck to all! Time for the eulogies.

24th Place | Oedipus Daddario: Exploded

Oedipus was cool. He could've been a major player. However, one thing in his form stood out to me. He can't say no to a dare. Archimedes determined this and took advantage. It sucks to die first and I'm really sorry, but I wanted a surprise death and he was the man. Thanks Ladyqueerfoot for this tribute. I'm gonna say right now, I don't mind if y'all resubmit these tributes elsewhere if you aren't happy with how things end up.

23rd Place | Piné Tree: Exploded

Piné was requested to die pregames. I could've had her die in the Capitol, but I felt that this suited her. She freaked out and it cost her. It's great to get tributes sent to die because then I don't have to kill as many others. I really appreciate it, so thanks to adoxographyy. I'm glad I had Piné and she will surely be missed by some. Her interactions with Perfecta were fun, and she was really funny. I no longer have to worry about getting her name right, so that's nice. LOL.
