(Sorry, but we're skipping Ruby's talk with her mother's grave. Team BDSS wasn't there for that. It's a cute moment, but it doesn't really do anything for the plot.)
The music is intense as we approach a flying arena in the sky and see the crowds cheering for the fight about to happen. Professors Port and Oobleck were the announcers of the fight of the fight as Team RWBY was in the ring, fighting a currently unknown team, Ruby slashing and spinning her scythe with skill before rushing in, Blake blocking attacks from a weird weapon wielded by a punk rock skater-looking girl, jumping back before rushing in again, Weiss swinging her sword and rushing in and Yang blasting herself away from her opponent, firing a couple shots and rushing in. "Ho ho! It seems like we've got another exciting bout ahead of us! Wouldn't you say, Professor?" Port asked, turning to his co-host.
"DOCTOR." Oobleck growled. "And yes, Peter, this is likely to be one of the closest match in the 4 on 4 bracket of the tournaments. It's a good thing we have a voluntary medic team on stand-by. Beacon's very own team BDSS!" Oobleck said, looking over to a corner just outside of the ring.
A foot stepped on the ground as the camera panned up to reveal the new and improved team BDSS. "Backstreet's back! ALRIGHT!" We said together.
Since the last time, all of team BDSS has gotten an upgraded look. My silver hair is now a shorter version of Axel's spiky hairstyle from Kingdom Hearts, a stylish black vest with spikes and flame designs in place of a shirt, black shorts torn at the bottom of the legs and badass spiked combat boots. I still have my classic trench coat, but it's tied around my waist instead. Draco's hair is slightly longer now, reaching his shoulders and along with the mask he's never without, he now wears a black fedora, an open blood red vest torn black jeans and red shoes, he's also buffed up, about as much as Wolverine. Damion's hair is now slicked back and while close to the same, his (still) all-black outfit is slightly different: he now wears bladed elbow and kneepads over his leather jacket and cargo pants and instead of fingerless gloves, he wears metal gloves that (somehow) move like leather and have spiked fingertips and smaller and lighter, but more powerful combat boots. Lastly, Nicolas traded his moustache for a goatee and now wears a suit of armor (minus a helmet) that looks like a silver skeleton, "It's good to be back." I said.
"I'd hate to say it, but for once, I agree with you." Damion agreed.
"Yep. Medics now, then in the next round, we show how badass WE are." Draco said.
"Let's fuck shit up!" Nicolas cheered.
"For those of you just joining us: WELCOME TO THE VYTAL FESTIVAL TOURNAMENT." Port said loudly, giving us a great view of the course, half an icy tundra, half a desolate, fiery wasteland. "Broadcast live from the Amity Colosseum!" He announced as we see airships flying into it from everywhere and that it was floating above Beacon. "If this is your first time watching, allow US to break down the rules." He finished.
It was Oobleck's turn to explain now. "The tournament is divided into 3 distinctive rounds: teams, doubles and singles! Age and school year are irrelevant! In this tournament, the only attribute being tested... is skill." He said, pushing up his glasses.
With Team BDSS...
"Well, probably strength, speed and strategy as well. Skill great, but it doesn't get you too far if you: can't catch your opponent, can't stand up to your opponent or your opponents strategy beats your skill. They're two different things." I said, the guys nodding.
Back to them...
"Correct! The winners of this battle will elect 2 of their members to represent them in the doubles round. Followed by the winners of that round choosing one member to advance again. The remaining combatants will then fight their way through the final bracket in hopes of achieving victory for their kingdom!" Port explained proudly.
Back to us...
"And I think we all know who's gonna be achieving victory here." I said, gesturing to the 4 of us. "As long as no foul play is involved or nothing crazy happens like a massive Grimm invasion or an attack from the White Fang." I said.
Back to them...
"And yes, Peter, these certainly are some spectacular spectacles in which to spectate on!" Oobleck said, getting in Port's face and adjusting his glasses again. We now see people watching this in a bar, a high-tech-looking home, probably in Atlas, a fancy high-tech-looking RESTAURANT, not likely in Atlas from the lack of staunch, bland uniforms and lastly, outside of a trailer in the boonies of Vacuo. "And I don't think anyone tuning in around the world will disagree with me on that one."
Port chuckled at this. "And why would they? Now let's get back to the match between team RWBY of Beacon and Team ABRN of Haven." He said.
"Well, I mean, come on, it's Team RWBY, the main characters of the series besides, us, we know they're going to win." I said.
"Of course. No way my baby could lose." Damion said.
I started fake coughing. "Neo!" I coughed, before backing away as he glared at me.
We now see the punk chick flying on a hoverboard through the icy tundra, jumping and throwing her board towards Blake, who, with a well-placed flip before striking, deflected the board, sending it back to the girl, who simply punched it back at Blake, who once again deflected it before leaping at her opponent, who blocked at the last minute as her board boomeranged back to her, managing to hold her own against Blake's rapid assault and even staggering the faunus ninja, cartwheeling and backflipping before landing on her board and rising into the air again, flying towards Blake, who cartwheeled out of the way, leaving an ice shadow behind for the girl to crash into, taking her off-course despite not really slowing her down and allowing Blake to deliver an upward strike, breaking the board in two, at which point it turned into SMG's for the girl, who fired at Blake after the girl flipped in mid-air, but failed to realize that she was returning to the ground and landed hard on her ass and tail-bone, everyone, Blake included, wincing and groaning in sympathy.
"Ooh, that was a rough one! Let's see what our medic team's thoughts are on this?" Port asked, the camera changing to behind us, viewing the girl's painful landing.
"Oh, shit! Oh, my gods! I KNOW she fucked up her coccyx!" I said, the guys and the cameraman turning to face me specifically as I looked back at them. "D-don't ask me how to spell that," I said, turning back to the fight. "But that shit is BEYOND bruised!" I finished.
"You should just stay yo' ass on that ice!" Draco said.
"I bet she's got 2 cracks now!" Nicolas threw in as Damion simply facepalmed.
"They may be idiots, but they're right. She'll be feeling that for a while." He agreed.
Back to the fight...
Yang let out a war cry as she fell from the air, slamming her fist into the ground as her opponent jumped back. We now see her opponent has some kind of weird afro and some kind of karate gi. Yang re-engaged and the two matched each other move for move, the girl managing to stagger Yang a bit before both unleashed one incredibly powerful attack that created a large shockwave, sending both of them back, Yang's opponent having to slam her hand into the ground and rip some of it up to bring herself to a stop. Again, the two re-engaged and dodged or deflected each other's moves when suddenly, the girl pulled out some kind of string and wrapped it around Yang's legs, pulling her off-balance and kicking her away and sending her skidding across the ice.
"Ooh, without aura, that would've been a bitch." Draco cringed..
"Oh, that's bullshit!" Damion snapped.
"Kinda cheap, but effective. But then again, I'm a ninja. We're not SUPPOSED to play fair." I said.
Yang struggled back to her feet on the icy ground, but her opponent flew in before she could get her bearings and knocked her down again, sending her skidding to one of her teammates, who took aim at Yang, but was suddenly hit in the back, white mist filling the area. When it cleared, we now see the guy's legs were frozen up to his upper thighs, as well as being a few inches off the ground within the icy trap. The guy looked to the side and groaned.
Surprisingly, we see it was actually Ruby who did this, aiming with her sniper rifle. "Got your back!" She said.
"Huh. I was expecting Weiss." I said.
"Do you think it was the field that let that happen, or does Ruby have Dust Bullets?" Draco asked.
"We never know, it's not explained. Good question, though." Damion said.
"On one hand, we never see Ruby use Dust Bullets for the rest of the Volume..." Nicolas ponders.
"She only fights one more time in the Volume." I said.
"On the other hand, her teammate and partner is Weiss Schnee, who's like the dust EXPERT, so either solution is TOTALLY plausible..." Damion finished our thoughts.
The star thing appeared above us. The More Questions You Have!
"Who's got your back?" A voice rang out and Ruby looked over her shoulder to see a guy with a staff behind her. However, before he could attack, a black glyph appeared beside him and Weiss kicked him through it, sending him into a big rock.
"My BFF!" Ruby said happily, but-
"No." Weiss said, before rushing after her opponent.
"Yes!" Ruby said quietly, doing a small fist pump.
"Aww, that's just like us." I said, putting an arm around Damion's shoulders... Which he prominently ripped off. "You know we're besties." I said.
"I hate you. I hate you so much." He said.
The guy with the staff recovered as another glyph appeared in front of him. Despite seeing it and knowing Weiss would be near or landing on it, he wasn't prepared as she did so and rushed past him at high speeds, slashing him as she did so. He managed to block her next attack as she leaped over him, but then her sword began to glow red, she created another glyph behind her which Ruby landed on and launched herself into the air, firing her scythe as she descended and strikes down at him. He managed to block it, but this again created a massive shockwave, ripping up more of the ground. Ruby growled at this and fired again, grounding the guy and launching herself back. She landed a little behind Weiss and the two of them prepared for an attack. The guy got back up and rushed in, managing to dodge Weiss' small number of ice shards and stopped Ruby's attack, even managing to somehow disarm her of Crescent Rose. "WHAT?!" She said in annoyance.
He then broke off a shard of the fire dust thing beside him and tossed it to the skater girl. "Oh, okay, so it was the arena." Nicolas said.
The girl then somehow equipped it to her board, causing its lights to change from green to red, much to Blake's curiosity. "Oh, come on, Blake! The other guy was gonna shoot Yang while she was down but that girl was on her ass for all of 2 minutes and you didn't bother trying to attack?!" Draco asked.
"She's nice like that, she doesn't hit people when they're down." Nicolas defended her.
"Torchwick?" I asked.
"He's an asshole, that doesn't count." Nicolas said.
The girl winked at Blake, got on her board and hovered past her frozen teammate, her board becoming hotter and melting the ice. "Oh, I call bullshit! If it was that hot, it would've melted or at least burnt her boots! And the ice melting around him that quick would've been BITCHING hot and have probably burned him, too! Neither of them could have been safely near that board!" I argued.
The girl then glided back towards Blake and tried to hit her with her board, which Blake blocked, but leaned back to avoid being burned, allowing the girl to smash her through an ice pillar.
"See! It was burning Blake to be that close to it!" I confirmed.
"Dude, it's anime logic. Besides, aura." Damion said.
"Okay, good point." I said.
The girl then tried to slam down on Blake, who rolled out of the way, but the girl continued her pursuit, attacking Blake and forcing her to use a shadow to avoid an attack, at which point she flung Gambol Shroud in it's Kusari-Gama form and swung off somewhere. The girl flew around and found Blake just standing there and smirked, flying in. But it was just a shadow, the bait in a trap Blake now sprung, tossing Gambol Shroud across two ice pillars and pulling it tight, making a rope which she pulled tight, catching the girl at the stomach and sending the board flying, before Blake somehow came from behind and did a flying kick to her stomach as the girl fell in mid-air, sending her flying out of the ring and into a forcefield before she hit the wall or crowd. "YEAH! That's the way, baby!" Nicolas cheered, jumping up and down.
"Dude, I get it, that was awesome and you're hyped but bring it down at bit." I said, putting giant-ass chains on him too heavy for him to jump with.
"Ooh, Double Whammy! Reese Chloris is out by Ring-Out and Aura level! Ouch!" Port announced.
"Really should've worn a helmet." Oobleck added.
"See, kids? Safety first. Always wear your helmets." I said, pointing to the 4th wall.
Now, Yang was in hot pursuit of her opponent, chasing after her with her gauntlets as the girl skated around with her wire. We now see the dude who got frozen taking aim at Weiss, but she made another black glyph and sent the dude with the staff into them. "Damn, these modafuckas stupid. But you know, they really need to tell us what Weiss' different glyphs mean." I said.
She then jumped forward and created another giant glyph, creating a tornado along with ice shards in it to keep the guys in place, before dropping them, but then Weiss created a white glyph, creating a MASSIVE hand of ice that rose from it and grabbed the two of them, before turning into a giant ice ball, sending them rolling out of control. The other girl noticed her teammates were in trouble, rolling her eyes and stopping herself close to the ring's edge, slamming her back foot down to lock herself in place, I guess, doing some hand movements and doing some hand movements and slamming them into the ball, shattering it and releasing her teammates. "Damn, she's tough." Damion said.
But this, too, turned out to be a trap. "Yang!" Weiss called. Yang looked to her teammate and created an ice slide/ramp in the direction of their opponents. "NOW!" She said.
Yang fired her gauntlets backwards and took off down the ramp, catching Gambol Shroud as Yang threw it to her. She then jumped on Ruby's back as the leader aimed her scythe behind her and fired, launching her friend and sister towards their still recovering teammates, who turned just in time to see... they fucked up.
Blake flew forward, spun around and whipped Yang forward even faster, sending her flying at her enemies with another battle cry (great song), slamming her fist into 3 conveintly lined up enemies and sending them flying into the wasteland area and exploding them, to which the crowd cheered. "YEAH! You did it Yang!" Damion cheered.
"Way to go, Blake!" Nicolas also cheered.
"Team RWBY's awesome!" Draco said, waving his RWBY banney.
"See? Just like I told you. And also like I said, strategy over skill." I said simply.
"Yes! Team RWBY is victorious!" Port declared.
"We did it?!" Ruby asked. Yang fist pumped to confirm her victory. "WE DID IIIIIIIIIT!" She said as the scene changed from the arena to the festival area, where Ruby now drooped down in hunger. "Is anyone else starving?" She asked in pain.
"I may have worked up an appetite." Blake said.
This caught everyone off-guard when her stomach growled LIKE A TIGER. "Gee, if only there were somewhere on campus to get food around here." Weiss said with shrug, the camera panning out to reveal they were surrounded with a bunch of different booths, many probably for food. "Oh, wait." She said.
"It's okay, Weiss. I forgot about the fair grounds, too." Ruby said, putting a hand on her teammates shoulder.
"I was being factitious!" Weiss said, pushing her arm away.
Ruby threw her hands in the air at this. "Wha-? Well, if you were hungry, why didn't you say so?!" She asked.
Yang waved for them to follow her. "Come on! I know just the place." She said.
"Count us in. We put in some good, hungering work tending to the asses of team ABRN you guys thoroughly kicked." Nicolas said.
"And we've got the next round. Then it's on to... Team JNPR." Draco sighed.
"Hey, don't count them out. They've got Pyrrha and Nora. Ren's pretty good, too." I said.
"And they're leader has graduated to being DECENT." Damion said.
"Alright! The more the merrier!" Yang said, then walked up to Damion. "And it will be great to spend some time together." She said, running her finger down Damion's chest.
"I look forward to it." He smirked, the two of them getting ready to kiss, but were pushed apart by Ruby. "SO! Sis, where was this place you were talking about?!" She asked urgently.
"I also wouldn't mind Nicolas and the others joining us." Blake said, walking beside him and holding his hand.
"Hey! I'm the team leader! The proper term is 'Sai and the others.'" I said, my team rolling their eyes at this. As we started to walk off, Weiss' scroll rang, revealing it was her father, but before I could hit the 'deny' button over her shoulder, she did it first. "Aww." I said, drooping and following them.
Suddenly, a dark-skinned hand held out a wallet. "Hey! It might be hard to eat without this." Emerald said.
Ruby frantically checked her pockets and found her wallet was gone. "Huh?! Huh?! Huh?! Huh?! No, no, no, no!" She said, to which Emerald laughed.
"Good to see you, Ruby." She said, handing the wallet out to her red counterpart.
Team BDSS looked between each other with a suspicious expression, knowing Emerald was good with slight of hand, as we had noticed in passing that she had swiped the loose lien of passerbys in the hallway. "I smell bullshit..." I said in a suspicious tone.
"I agree with you, but why would she just give it back, then?" Damion asked.
"Meh? Sometimes thieves have a conscience and can be redeemed." I said.
"Did you steal that from Kung Jin in MKX?" Draco asked.
"SILENCE! I KILL YOUJ!" I said, putting my hand over his mask.
"Oh, thanks, Emerald! Guess I dropped it. Girl pockets are the worst!" Ruby said, slumping as Yang walked up.
"What's up, Em?" Yang asked.
"Just left the stadium after watching you're AMAZING fight. You guys were awesome!" She said.
"Yeah, totally. I taught 'em everything they know." I said.
Everyone looked at me and all said the same thing. "No, you didn't."
"Aww..." I said, getting called on the bluff.
"Oh, stop..." Ruby said, blushing before mumbling something incomprehensible.
"I heard your team progressed to the finals as well." Blake said.
"Yeah. I taught 'em-" Nicolas started.
"It wasn't even funny the first time, don't drag it through the mud any more." I grumbled.
"You know, I feel like we never see your other teammates." Weiss said.
"Because we don't." Damion answered simply.
"How'd they do in the fight?" Yang asked.
Emerald looked up to the sky as if trying to remember.
Flashback...
Emerald jumped back and fired at her opponents, Mercury doing the same. Some poor sap rushed in at Cinder and got another kick that sent him flying. He skidded to a stop as someone walked around him, a girl with black hair and green eyes, who leaned in with a smirk, her eyes changing to Neo's pink and brown before she stomped on his face. "You got knocked the fuck out!" I shouted from the sidelines.
Back to now...
"Really well." She said.
"Great! Why don't we all go out and get some victory food together?" Ruby asked.
"Or, in our case, pre-match food." I say.
"Oh, gosh, that's so nice of you, but my teammates are all kind of... introverted..." She said as we all leaned to the side to see Mercury sniffing an old, used boot and making an awkward face like he smelled something bad. Gosh, I wonder why?
"The fuck?" Damion asked.
"What is wrong with that guy?" I asked.
"REALLY socially awkward." She whispered.
"That's being nice for what we just saw." Draco said.
"Yeah, I can see that." Yang said.
"So, yeah. It looks like Merc and I are gonna be moving to the doubles round. What about you guys?" She asked.
"Well, as the leader of this team, I thought long and hard about this decision-" Ruby started, before Weiss slid in from the sidelines.
"We put it to a vote." She said, sliding out.
"Yeah, but I decided we should put it to a vote!" Ruby said.
"We chose Weiss and Yang." Blake answered.
"I will happily represent team RWBY." Weiss said with a curtsy.
Yang pounded her fists together. "Yeah! We're gonna kick some butt!" She said.
"Obviously, we have to get through the first round, but if-" I started, leaning back towards the guys. "When-" I said, getting them to chuckle before I leaned back. "-We do, I've decided it's gonna be me and Draco. Because Damion and I have had plenty of team moments and Nicolas weirds me out, so now it's Draco's turn." I said, putting a hand on the blood demon's shoulder.
"Hell yeah, man! They'll have to deal with the bad blood now!" He said as we double high 5'd, then I turned around with my hands behind my back and he double low 5'd me, grabbed my hands and flipped me over, then I landed, spun and we both pointed at each other.
Emerald laughed at these exchanges. "Well if Mercury and I see you down the line, don't think we'll go easy on you." She said.
"Wouldn't have it any other way." Yang said.
"Sounds fair, because we won't be either." I said.
"For real." Draco said in a deep voice, pulling shades from nowhere and doing an upside down peace sign before we stood back to back.
"Okay, you can stop making a mockery of our team now." Damion said, crossing his arms.
Nicolas slid over beside him with his arms crossed as well suddenly. "Yeah." He said, the two of them low 5'ing.
"Well, we're gonna go catch some more fights. See you later." She said as the 3 teams split.
"Have fun!" Ruby said, waving over her shoulder.
"See you later." Emerald said, turning and scowling when she was beside Mercury.
"So, how are the new 'friends?'" He asked, putting it in quotes.
"I hate them." She said.
"Orders are orders." He said, shrugging.
"I just- HOW can they be so happy ALL THE TIME?! And Sai thinks he's so funny, but he's just annoying!" She ranted.
"Did you at least get what we want?" He asked.
"RWBY's sending the heiress and the bimbo. BDSS is gonna send Fire Face and Blood Boy if they win." She said.
Back to us...
Damion growled as he overheard her. "I'll never forgive her for that." He growled.
"You'll get a chance to kick her ass eventually, probably, maybe." I said.
Back to them...
"Well, we already know they will. But at least now, we know who we're working with." Mercury said.
Back to us...
We all sat at the booth Yang recommended. "I'll have a bowl of the regular, please." She said, looking at the giant bowl of noodles she received with an evil smirk.
"Ooh, I'll take the same!" Ruby said, clasping her hands together in joy as she received the massive bowl.
Weiss looked at the menu questionably. "Hm... Do you have anything with a low salt-" She asked, before being given the same thing. "Oh... Okay." She said.
Blake just nodded at the booth manager, who was revealed to be the old guy as he nodded back. "Is there any place where you DON'T work?!" I asked. He quickly came back with a giant bowl, but instead of being filled with noodles, it was full of tuna. She gasped and let out an awed breath at the meal, drooling with stars in her eyes. "Uh, Blake? You're letting your faunus-ness show." I said.
The guy then turned to look at us. Team BDSS all confirmed our order and it soon arrived: for me, a pu-pu platter, consisting of two chicken fingers, two chicken wings, two pork and vegetable eggrolls, two beef teriyaki sticks, 3 crab rangoons and a side of pork fried rice and the others just ordered the noodles.
Weiss then handed out her card, which shimmered as she held it out. "Wait, pause the show!" Draco shouted.
"What?" I asked.
"Just do it! Pause the show and give me your note pad!" He asked, digging through my trench coat pockets.
"What? What?!" I asked impatiently, pulling out my universal remote and pausing everything around us as well as my notepad.
"Okay, here we go..." Draco said, writing down Weiss' credit card number.
"Oh, that's genius." I said.
We restarted time after the guy took it. "Aww, Weiss, what's the occasion?!" Yang asked happily.
"Consider it thanks for sending me to the doubles round." She said proudly, but we were all shocked when he threw it into the table like a shuriken, the guy clearing his throat and pointing to the register, which said declined.
"What?!" How can my card be declined?! I was barely into my monthly allowance!" Weiss said as Blake looked around in fear and tried to slowly sneak her food, but the guy quickly took it.
"No!" She cried dropping on the table.
"Hey, you give that back to her!" Nicolas snapped,
"Maybe because you kept denying your fathers calls." I said, my phone ringing, revealing it to be my father. "Hey, dad, how's it going?!" I asked urgently, but happily. "That's good. Yeah, I'm doing great, too! Oh, by the way, you refilled my account, right? Thank you! Alright, I gotta go, me and my friends are about to eat. I love you, too. Bye." I said, hanging up. "See?" I asked, holding out my card for the guy to take, who instantly returned it and Blake's bowl of fish, to which I smirked, before Blake tackled me to the ground, nuzzling me and purring. "This isn't altogether unpleasant, but it does make the situation a little awkward." I said.
Team JNPR joined us as well and after a delicious meal, we were all stuffed. "I've tasted my fair share of Chinese food, but I have to say THAT... was really good. Better than the last stuff I had at that buffet I cannot legally reference. Don't get me wrong, it's a great place, just not as good as the stuff I'm used to." I said.
"I'm just happy I'm not hungry anymore." Damion said.
"Yeah! I'm and full and now I'm ready to fight!" Draco said, shadowboxing.
"I think I'll be fine as long as no one kicks me in the stomach." Nicolas said.
"Are you sure it's wise to have eaten before a fight?" Ren asked.
"Yes! It will give us energy!" Pyrrha said before Nora unleashed an awesome, echoing burp.
"That was awesome, babe!" I said, high 5'ing her.
"If I barf, I'm blaming you." Jaune said.
"Oh, relax, drama queen, your fight is AFTER ours, so you'll have time for your stomach to settle." Damion said.
"Then if YOU guys have to throw up, AIM IT AT THE ENEMY!" Nora said evilly.
"I'm gonna try that!" Nicolas said.
"Nora, Nicolas, that's disgusting!" Ren scolded. "But, if you do feel the urge." He considered.
"Got it." Jaune said.
"Not really digging Ren's new voice actor." Damion said (fact, Damion actually told me he was on the fence about the animation difference and Ren's voice).
"Look, they lost Monty, they weren't really left with a lot to work with." I said to be fair, before bowing my head. "Rest in peace, Monty. This is my tribute to you." I said softly.
"So, you think you guys are ready?" Ruby asked team JNPR.
"Of course! We've got a world renowned fighter on our team, what's basically a ninja, I can bench 5 of me... Jaune... We've trained all year, our weapons are AWESOME! Glynda BARELY yells at us anymore and... Jaune!" She said, gesturing to everything she mentioned.
"Are you gonna take that?" Ren asked, looking to his leader.
"She's not wrong..." He groaned.
"I'm kidding! He know's I'm kidding. The worst that could happen is we LOSE, (the screen starts to turn sideways and gray) then it's just a few more years of walking around school with everybody knowing we're losers, our friends will slowly abandon us to reserve their social status, we'll never be able to show our faces in class, no one will sit with us in the cafeteria, Ren and I have no parents, so we have NO home left to go to, we'll be officially renamed team LOSE-IFCER!" She started calm, but then panicked and started practically screaming. Crying and hitting her head on the table.
"So, yeah. We're feeling PRETTY good." Ren said sarcastically.
"I know as a good boyfriend, I should do something here, but I honestly have no idea WHAT to do or say here." I said awkwardly.
"A good boyfriend with. Let's see: Lady, Moka, Pyrrha, Erika, Liz, that thing with Juri fell through, so... 5 other girlfriends."
"You do NOT mention Juri!" I said, shuddering at the memories. "And what part of: 'my clan says I can have 20 women' and 'my fiction, my rules.' is so hard to understand?" I asked. "My family members die almost every day. I've probably lost like 20 cousins by the time this chapter's over, I need lost of women, their families and kids to extend the family so the Blades will live on." I defended myself.
"Don't fret. If anything, we should be looking forward to a fight with actual guidelines and not, well, murderers." Pyrrha said to comfort everyone.
"Yeah, don't sweat it: we've all faced WAY worse before." Yang said.
"Let's see: Grimm invasions, violent extremist, a destructive sociopath." Blake counted.
"The God of Destruction, the Demon God, the NEW Demon God, Mundus' son, Jubileus..." I counted some of my own victories, albeit some with help.
"And that's all while we were in training! Oh, imagine what it will be like when we graduate!" Ruby cheered.
"Maybe then I'll be able to pay for a meal." Weiss grumbles.
"You should get a potato for all that saltiness, Weiss." Draco said.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!" I said, pointing to Draco and jumping around.
"BURN!" Damion laughed.
"He torched your ass, Weiss!" Nicolas laughed.
Suddenly, we heard the speakers come on. "Would team BDSS please report to the battlefield." Port said.
"Yes. Like they were scheduled to... several minutes ago." Oobleck added.
"Bring it on! I'm ready for anything!" I said intensely.
In the arena...
"I was not ready for today..." I said in shock and disbelief.
"And now, something quite rare! Two teams from the same school! It is Team BDSS vs. their friendly rivals, Team EVAD!" Port announced as we stood across from Erika, Vega, Aisu and Dumplin.
"Time for you guys to get in the fuckbox!" Dumplin said with his evil One Piece laugh.
