The two teams stood across from each other as Professor Port began the countdown, the crowd eagerly waiting for the match to begin with good old team BDSS on medical standby. "I don't know about this..." I said.

"The fight?" Damion asked.

"No, the RWBY spin-off coming next month. Looks cute and might let us forget the unspeakable horrors of this Volume, but at the same time, it could butcher the show's previous glory, like Teen Titans Go! Did to the original Teen Titans." I said.

"Can we PLEASE never speak of that show?" Draco asked.

"Right. Okay, back to the fight." I said as they were permitted to begin.

Team JNPR and 3 members of the other team rushed in while one of their members, a chick in a hoodie, ran to the treeline and jumped up on a branch, taking aim with her sniper rifle. Pyrrha blocked her shield as her opponent tried to knee her in the chest, then blocked with her sword, catching his clawlike weapon with it, the two spinning and separating. Ren and Nora prepared to gang up on one member, who ducked as Nora swung her hammer, doing a 180 spin and jumping away before he could slash her back. Ren prepared to fire, but the sniper fired a shot, missing him, but shattering a nearby boulder. Jaune blocked an attack from his opponent as well, when another bullet zoomed past him. He saw the telltale flash in the treeline and looked in horror. "R-r-retreat!" He stammered out the order, his team taking cover behind more boulders.

"This is why I don't like snipers." I said.

"Hey!" Ruby snapped, glaring at me from her seat.

"I-uh... I meant ENEMY snipers." I said, which seemed to calm her down.

"Didn't you want to be a sniper at one point?" Damion asked.

"That was before I found out that was the guy everyone would look for in the battlefield." I said.

Ren and Nora quickly took cover as bullets hit near their feet, Jaune and Pyrrha covering their retreat with their shields. "What do we do?!" Pyrrha asked.

Jaune looked around as the 3 attackers rushed in and the sniper jumped to another branch. "Spread out! Try to keep moving!" He ordered, blocking as his opponent came at him with a downward strike. Pyrrha blocked another attack from the same guy she was fighting before as Ren came to a halt in front of a guy with a baton.

"Oh, it's only a baton, that's not gonna do anything." I said.

Suddenly, the guy looked back at the sniper and nodded. She returned the gesture and shot at the ground close to Ren before shooting at his feet, causing him to dodge and leaving himself open to get smashed in the head with the baton.

My teammates looked to me at that moment as I stood there wide-eyed. "My bad." I said.

Ren recovered and attempted a round kick to the guy's head, but he ducked and hit Ren's leg, then hit him in the stomach and sending an electric charge through him with the baton and making him collapse. "Not gonna do anything, huh?" Damion asked.

"Dammit..." I said.

"Ren!" Nora said as her friend and teammate fell beside her, rushing in and swinging her hammer, which the guy ducked under and again electrocuted her in the stomach with his baton, but unlike Ren, she stayed up and actually smirked.

"You know he's fucked now." Team SUSN said from their position in the bleachers.

"It looks like one of my FAVORITE students, Nora Valkyrie is charging up to use your semblance." Port said.

"What?" The guy electrocuting her asked, looking at the screen.

"Anyone else disturbed about the way Port said Nora was his favorite student?" I asked, to which the guys nodded. "Okay, just wanted to make sure." I said, looking back.

"Yes! Ms. Valkyrie's semblance allows her to produce, as well as channel, electrical energy straight to her muscles! This allows her to jump explosively into the air, wield her mighty hammer, or in this case, absorb Norland's (that's what it sounded like) attacks and send the young man flying!" Oobleck explained.

"WHAT?!" He asked in fear, looking back as Nora VISIBLY coursed with electricity.

"That poor bastard." I said, shaking my head.

"It was at that moment Norland knew... he fucked up." Draco said as Nora's electric energy continued to course through her and she extended her hammer towards Norland DANGEROUSLY close to his crotch (not kidding, watch the episode) as he raised his hands in surrender, getting sent flying back into and through another large boulders.

"That's one of my girls!" I cheered.

"Seriously, what's with all the boulders lying around everywhere?" Draco asked.

"It's the takeover of the boulders!" Nicolas said in fear. We deadpanned and looked at him for a moment with a cricket noise in the background. "What?" He asked.

Jaune then looked up at the mountain as a lightning storm appeared. "Nora, get to the mountain!" He ordered.

"You got it!" She said with a salute, zooming towards said mountain.

"Ren, try and distract the sniper!" Jaune ordered.

Ren looked at him, flinching as a bullet zoomed past him and dropped his shoulders. "Sure... Why not..." He said, rushing in.

"To be fair, he's the only one on the team with all-purpose guns." I said considerately, the guys nodding.

Jaune's opponent then threw golden sawblades at him, bouncing his shield back into his face as he blocked and the sawblades came back to their thrower.

"Captain America sawblades! So scary!" Draco said, clinging to Nicolas, who narrowed his eyes and attempted to pry the blood demon off of him.

The attacker then repeatedly attacked pyrrha with a helicopter arm-like motion, but she blocked them all with not big issue. Jaune was dazed for a moment, but then rushed back into the fight. "Yeah, go get 'em, Jaune!" Ruby cheered.

"It's nice to see him step up every so often." Serena agreed.

"Well, he's certainly improved." Weiss said.

"Yeah, but he ain't got nothing on Pyrrha!" Yang said excitedly.

"Who does?" Selene asked.

Said badass Spartan girl was now fighting the guy with Norland while blocking or dodging the golden sawblades, forcing Norland to also dodge his own teammates projectiles as well as attack Pyrrha, who blocked, spun and threw her spear at sawblade guy, who dodged it. Pyrrha then planted her feet on the ground and launched herself back, feet first into Norland. "That's my best girl!" I say.

"Really? She's your best?" Draco asked.

"Well, I mean, in a fight, she'd be second to Erika, but in terms of personality and being a good person, yes she is." I said (I actually just thought of that now, I wasn't planning on actual serious thought behind this part).

We now focus on the sniper as she fires at a rapidly approaching Ren, who did that classic anime thing of rushing straight forward while moving slightly to the left or right to dodge, jumping/spinning and sliding under Pyrrha as she fought, getting back to his feet and firing at the Norland as he stood guard for the sniper. He did considerably better this time around, dodging and blocking the baton, landing some kicks and trapping the baton behind his blades and catching it behind Norland's head, spinning him around and holding him as a human shield so the sniper couldn't shoot him. She then quickly changed targets, to... "Nora!" Ren shouted as the sniper targeted her.

"I can't look!" I said, covering my eyes.

"Her aura would protect her, you remember that, right?" Damion asked.

"Thought that counts." I said, uncovering my eyes.

Jaune blocked an attack from claw guy and looked back as he noticed Nora was vulnerable, still climbing up the mountain. "Pyrrha! Up!" He shouted.

She rushed in, rolling and blocking the sawblades with her shin armor, getting back to her feet and rushing past him, jumping over claw guy and onto Jaune's shield, allowing him to launch her in front of Nora, shield in front of her as the sniper fired, sending her flying back, but neither of team JNPR's badass hotties were harmed. "YES!" I shouted, then looked as the guys stared at me. "What?" I asked.

Nora finally reached the top of the mountain and held her hammer high above her head, the lightning coming down on it and channeling through her.

"BY THE POWER OF THOR!" Draco said dramatically.

"Marvel references a-plenty in this fight." Nicolas said.

Nora then changed her weapon to grenade launcher form, then opened up its face to fire all 6 of its grenades at once, forming a heart in mid-air as they flew towards the sniper, who dropped her shoulders in fear, quickly jumping from that tree to the next one before the rockets hit. "I didn't know she could do that, did you?" I asked, the guys shaking their head. The smoke caused the sniper to cough and forced her to jump out of the tree and to the ground as her teammates looked at her, then into the air as Nora jumped at them from the mountain, surrounded by electrical energy, laughing evilly as she slammed her hammer down into the ground and sent them flying back to their sniper teammate's feet. "Gotta love a woman who loves destruction, though." I said.

"This is it guys! Let's finish them with team attacks! Ren, Nora! FLOWER POWER!" Jaune shouted, pointing outward with his sword.

"Wait, what?" Nora asked.

"Flower power?" Teams BDSS and SUSN said at the same time in a disappointed "for real?" tone.

"Flower power." He repeated, both them AND Pyrrha shrugging. "That's your team attack name." He explained.

"Since when?" Ren asked.

"Hey, why didn't we do team attacks against Team EVAD?" Nicolas asked.

"We already did the team attack thing against the Atlesian Dragon." I told him.

"Guys, we've been over this! Flower Power is Ren and Nora! Ren brings the flower, Nora brings the POWER!" Jaune grumbled.
"How would I bring a flower?" Ren asked, to which I laughed.

"No, silly, not A flower." Nora said, crossing her eyes. "Flour, like in baking!" She explained, to which my whole team burst out laughing.

"Why would I bring that?" Ren asked, getting team SUSN to giggle as well.

"No, it's your symbol!" Jaune explained.

"So, what are we?" Pyrrha asked.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune whined.

"Sorry! I just want to make sure it's clearly defined." She explained.

"Oh, stop! Please, I can't breathe!" I said, laughing.

"Pyrrha, you and I are Arkos! It's the thing where we take our shields, remember?" He asked.

"Arkos?" She asked.

"Right! It's our names put together!" Jaune explained.

"Rooster Teeth acknowledges shipping." Serena said.

"Which is so fucked up because of what they do at the end." Selene said.

"No spoilers, we're not there yet!" Umbra said, covering her mouth.

"Oh, I get it..." Pyrrha said awkwardly.

"I sense doubt." I said.

"Big time." Damion agreed.

"What? Do you not like it?" He asked.

"No, no, it's... Good..." She said, hesitantly as the other team looked on in disbelief.

"Hmm, I sensed hesitation." Nora said teasingly.

"HEY! What do you think you're doing?!" Claw guy shouted at them.

"We're trying to have a team meeting! Thank you very little!" Jaune snapped.

"Yeah! Team ears only!" Nora snapped as well.

"We're in the middle of a fight!" Claw guy said.

"AND WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION! WHAT DON'T YOU GET ABOUT THAT?!" Jaune shouted at him furiously.

"Um... Jaune?" Pyrrha asked.

"Yes, Pyrrha?" He sighed angrily.

"I think he means that we're ALL in the middle of a fight." She said, gesturing around at the huge crowd.

"Yeah, how could you forget about us!?" Draco asked.

"I'm so hurt!" Nicolas cried. Damion and I both facepalmed at the collective stupidity.

Jaune sighed again at this. "Nora, just... hit 'em with the hammer." He said.

She looked excited, before getting an evil smirk on her face. "Got it." She said.

"What?!" Claw guy said in fear.

Nora then leapt in front of them and with one powerful swing, hit all 4 of them and sent them flying into the barrier. "I approve." I said approvingly.

"And with that, it looks like team JNPR wins by knock-out! Literally!" Port announced. "Can someone make sure they're okay?" He asked.

"On, it." I said as team BDSS rushed over. "Damn, you guys got knocked the fuck out!" I said as we checked on them with a simple look over. "Meh, seems fine, just get 'em a little rest, I'm sure they'll live." I said, putting the sniper on a stretcher and walking away.

"I'm starting to see why you lost your internship." Damion said, getting claw guy on a stretcher and following me as Draco and Nicolas did the same with the other two.

Back at the Crow Bar... Ha! I get it...

The mysterious, so far unnamed customer continued to drink as he watched the fight on TV with the bartender. "Huh. Those kids weren't half bad." The bartender said. The unknown patron simply scoffed and continued drinking.

Back to the stadium...

"Ah, well, Vacuo fans are sure to be hurting after that one, but this next round is sure to have them on the edge of their seats!" Oobleck said dramatically.

"Team NDGO of Shade is certainly a crowd favorite, but these LOVELY ladies are going up against some of the toughest, most testosterone-driven teammates we've seen so far. I'm of course talking about team SSSN!" Port announced, several girls holding up pictures of the all-male team surrounded by hearts... And disturbingly, one was a picture of Sun's abs encircled by a giant heart. Wait... That's a GUY holding up a picture of Scarlet!

"Wait, it's pronounced 'Sun'? I thought only team RWBY was named after their leader. And that made more sense." Draco asked.

"Okay, seriously, he's getting creepy with how he talks about the female contenders." I say.

"What? Lovely ladies isn't that bad." Damion said.

"No, but the way he says it and the OBVIOUS age difference is." I said.

He took a moment to consider this before... "Okay, fair point." He said.

"I'm capable of making those." I said.

"Sun Wukong and his team are certainly a force to be reckoned with. And although he'll be representing the Mistral Academy of Haven, I'm sure his friends and family in Vacuo will be cheering him along." Port said as the team walked onto the arena and waved to the crowd.

"Good luck, Neptune!" Weiss cheered.

Umbra shook her head. "Oh, Weiss, how you set yourself up for heartbreak." She said.

"Neptune is a bit of a playboy..." Naomi added, but shrank back as Weiss stared at her.

Speaking of the blue-haired kinda-jackass, he looked at the opposing all-female team with a smirk. "Ladies." He said, pointing to them. Yeah, I take it back. Not kinda-jackass, just regular jackass.

Weiss clenched her fist and shook with rage as she watched her crush flirt with others. "BREAK HIS STUPID FACE, NDGO!" She shouted with an intense orange background behind her.

"Sun and his team are main characters, you know they're gonna win." Serena said.

"Hey! Stop breaking the 4th wall! That's MY job!" I shouted.

As the two teams stood a good deal apart, Neptune tried to flirt again. "Alright girls, try and remember: hands ABOVE the waist." He said, doing so with his hands.

Sun put a hand on his shoulder at this. "Ignore him, for he... Yeah, he's dumb." He said, trying to repeat what Neptune said about him last Volume, but failed to remember the words. The latter then winked at the girls.

The environment changers popped up again and began spinning. The first half stopped on the desert, everyone putting on sunglasses as the intense virtual sun appeared.

"Alright! Home field advantage!" The purple-haired girl with a crossbow said.

"I keep saying it's the boonies. Rooster Teeth listened to me." I said.

"Don't get too cocky! That's my turf, too!" Sun said.

"I hope I don't get sand in my shoes." Scarlet said, looking down. Team BDSS facepalmed at this.

"Be cool, man." Neptune told him.

The arena behind the all-male team was finally chosen as... "Hey, look! It's the ocean!" One of the girls said.

"Huh?" Neptune asked, turning and seeing the screen in fear.

"Uh... What's wrong with Neptune?" Ruby asked.

"Oh, no..." Blake said, facepalming.

"That's not the ocean, that's MAYBE a beach." I said as an area with shallow water, large areas of sand, a tiny island in the water and a wrecked pirate ship appeared. Sun nudged Neptune a bit, but he was completely frozen, and I'm not talking about the movie.

"Neptune's... afraid of the water." Blake answered, Yang putting on a face of disbelief.

At this remark, Teams BDSS, SUSN and EVAD all deadpanned. "Really, ninja?" We all said at once.

"3, 2, 1, Bgin!" The announcer shouted, at which point Neptune quickly zoomed to the desert and jumped up on a rock, as far from the aquatic area.

"Neptune! What are you doing?!" Sage (the last member of team SSSN) shouted his question.

"Oh, you know! Just, uh... gaining the higher ground!" He lied.

"On the enemy's side?!" Sun asked.

"They would never expect it!" He shouted back.

"He's not wrong." The girl with the spear said.

"Is 'dis modafucka for real!? How he gonna have a name like Neptune and be afraid of water?! That shit don't make sense!" Draco said like a well known YouTuber.

"Nice Dashie impression." I said.

"Thank you." He said.

"Open fire!" Crossbow girl said as they rushed towards Neptune, the remainder of team SSSN following. Sun jumped into the air and we focus on Scarlet as he pulls out a pirate sword and rushes in, trying to attack the girl with the sword as she appeared, but she simply slid on the sand and escaped. We now focus on Sage as he gets into a Seigfried- like stance (Soul Calibur) and attacks the girl with the spear, who spins her weapon and the two knock each other back with their opposing quick or powerful strike. Spear girl then lowered her weapon to the ground and slowly spun it, creating 3 decent-sized tornadoes that spun around Sage, eventually creating one big tornado with him in the center and sending him flying out of the ring.

"Wow, that was fast." Damion said, to which we nodded.

The girl with the sword watched this and looked back at Sun and Scarlet as they took fighting stances. "Did Sun just forget he has a weapon or something? Where's his staff?" I asked.

Sword girl then swung her sword, projectiles coming out of the blade and kicking up sand, which flew into the two guys' eyes, causing Sun to retreat. "Neptune!" He called to his cowardly friend, who at least jumped down from the cliff to help out. Sword girl kicked up dust again, but Neptune merely put down his goggles to cover his eyes and blasted his energy gun at her, which she blocked. However, at that moment, Sun jumped out from nowhere with the sun behind him and kicked her in the face. She was staggered by this, but definitely not defeated, rushing at him with an angry scream as he pulled out his staff, easily blocking her attacks, hitting her in several places and thrusting the staff at her, knocking her out and to the ground.

"Damn, he ain't too smart, but he can fight." I said.

"He ain't having no... monkey business." Nicolas said, to which all 3 other members of the team punched him in the face at the same time.

"Ooh! And we're down to 3-on-3!" Port announced.

Scarlet was trapped by another tornado and thrown to the water, but he recovered in mid-air and managed to grab onto the... mast, I think, of the ship and land uneasily as Crossbow girl and Knife girl came after him. Crossbow girl fired into the mast a few times and used it to climb up to where Neptune was, turning her crossbow into a sword and fighting Scarlet like a scene from Pirates of the Carribean. "See, this is why I like weapons like Ren's guns, Weiss' sword, Ruby's scythe or Yang's gauntlets, because they can be used in close or long range at the same time, you don't have to switch them." I said.

"It's scary when I agree with you more than once in one day." Damion said.

"Yay me!" I said.

She managed to elbow Scarlet in the face and stagger him, but he quickly responded with a boot to the head and knocked her back into the mast. She rounded it and got to the other side, Scarlet quickly following and the two locked blades, the girl managing to push him back and the blades came close to his face, but he managed to push her back, swinging at her legs and causing her to back-step, leaving an opening for Scarlet to elbow her in the chest and knock her down. He then noticed how Spear girl and Knife girl were ambushing Sun on both sides, to which he smirked and pulled out his old-timey pirate pistol, which had a grappling hook at the bottom, which he hooked to Knife girl's leg-

"Okay, are you SERIOUSLY gonna keep calling them guy or girl after what their weapons are?" Damion asked.

"Yes. Unless they're a main character or have had their names directly stated, that's what I'm doing." I said.

Anyway, he hooked Knife girl's leg with the grappling hook and yanked her up as he jumped down, leaving her in the air above him. As she struggled to keep her dress down from her upside-down position, all of her knives fell from their holder thing and rained down on Scarlet as his eyes widened in horror. "It was at that moment Scarlet knew... He fucked up." Draco said.

Amazingly, as he froze in panic and fear, the knives fell in a complete circle around him, all of them missing him. Spear girl then jumped onto the tiny island with Sun, who looked shocked, then quickly looked up at the palm tree beside him and saw a bunch of huge coconuts the size of his head. He gave the tree a small punch, knocking two coconuts down... Hey, coconuts don't have those little apple stems on top! I live in Florida now, I've seen coconuts on trees! Anyway, two coconuts fell down and he caught one in each hand, throwing them at Spear girl, who knocked them back with enough force to make them catch fire. Sun managed to dodge them, but Scarlet was hit in the face, staggering him with a 360 and allowing the second coconut to hit him in the... "Nuts..." Sun said as Scarlet dropped to the ground, his aura level dropped to where he lost.

"Ooh, that was harsh! Let's see what our medics have to say about that." Port said, the screen turning to focus on us.

"GODDAMN! WHAT THE FUCK!?" We all shouted together in sympathy pain, hands over our own crotches.

Sun looked back from Scarlet to Spear girl, who now made another tornado, this time with water. "Um... Neptune! Could use some help, buddy!" He called.

Said buddy had his back turned to the water, nervously turning around. "Uh... You know, it'd probably be better if YOU came over HERE! Yeah! I could guard this... sector! We're in lockdown mode!" He said, turning his back again.

"What are you talking about?! There's nothing to lock down!" Sun said as Crossbow girl managed to free Knife Girl.

"Lock down, right! You got it!" He said, looking over his shoulder at the monkey faunus and quickly looking back away from the water.

"I know you're afraid of water, but you gotta!" Sun started, looking back as Spear girl tried to attack him in mid-air, but Neptune finally did something useful and blasted her back into the water.

"There! I helped! Are you happy now?!" He snapped.

"I mean, it's improvement, but I wouldn't exactly say 'happy' if I were Sun. Also if you guy pull some crap like this, I'm kicking you straight in the dick." I said.

"Got it." Draco and Nicolas said, closing their legs tightly.

"You'll die trying." Damion said, crossing his arms. "But I wouldn't pull that bullshit to start with." He said.

"And that's why you're next in command." I said.

"Also I am not afraid of water! And I have no idea what YOU are talking about!" Neptune continued to shout at Sun.

Knife girl and Crossbow Girl jumped into the water as Spear Girl stood back up and closed in together. "NEPTUNE!" Sun shouted urgently.

"Okay, fine! Just get out of the water!" Neptune said, leaping onto the beach shore as Sun landed next to him. He then turned his plasma gun into its trident form, tiptoed to the water (with a cartoon-y tiptoe sound effect), lifted his trident into the air and plunged it into the water, the electric currents reaching the girls and making it look like they were struck by lightning with again cartoon-y convulsions.

"You know, I get this IS technically a cartoon and that you can only do so much with computer graphics like these and not like PS4 graphics or something, but they could make it seem a little less cartoon-y. Like if you electrocuted water I was standing in in real life, I'd just violently shake back and forth, It wouldn't look like that. And is it just me, or in all of these matches so far, does it seem like at least 3 or all 4 members of the losing team are knocked out at once and not taken down one by one?" I asked.

"Jesus, what is it with you today and actually making sense?" Damion said, shocked that once again, I said something he could agree with.

"So, is that why we did a one-on-one thing with team EVAD last time?" Draco asked.

"Yep." I answered without missing a beat as we went into the arena to get the girls out of the water before they drowned..

"And with that, Team SSSN moves onto the Doubles round!" Port announced as the two still-standing members of team SSSN started dancing stupidly. "You know what I call that victory?" Port asked Oobleck.

"Shocking?" Oobleck asked.

"I would've said electrifying." I said.

"I would've said electro-CUTING." Nicolas said, earning himself another punch in the face.

"No. Well-earned. What you said was stupid." Port said to Oobleck.

"Port would know about being stupid." Damion said, shaking his head as he threw Crossbow Girl over his shoulder (true fact: Damion doesn't like Port or Oobleck).

Back in the Crow Bar...

The bartender whistled as they watched TV. Jeez, is he STILL cleaning out that same glass. "Now that was a match!" He said.

The unknown patron scoffed once again. "That was a mess." He said, taking another drink (he's not entirely wrong).

"Come on, man! You didn't like them? The Vale kids? Or any of the rounds before that?" The bartender asked.

"I liked that fight with the aliens and the demons." He corrected.

"What fight are you here for?" The bartender asked.

Suddenly, they looked outside as they saw a slightly more regal-looking ship with long streamers on its 4 points fly by. "That one!" He said, wobbly standing up and downing the rest of his drink while staggering, even the camera moving uneasily. "Happy Vytal festival!" He said, slamming the glass down on the table, leaving some lien and walking out.

The bartender finally finished washing that glass and picked up the one that was just finished, knocking over the one he just cleaned and breaking it in the process (I laughed at this. I'm evil). "Aww... Gee darn it..." He said.

Back at the stadium...

"Uh... That was close." Ruby said with a sigh, leaning back in her chair.

"Looks like the dorks made it to the next round." Yang said.

"I can honestly say I'm shocked." Umbra said.

"Oh, don't you make puns now!" Selene said.

"They got lucky, plain and simple." Serena said.

"We could give them a little more credit that that..." Naomi said.

"But we won't." Umbra said.

Blake looked down as the two idiots were STILL dancing, Sun looking up at her, winking and pointing, causing her to blush. "Emphasis on dork." She said.

Nicolas growled at this. "After this, I'm trying African food." He grumbled.

"African food, what do you mean?" Draco asked.

"Monkey brains." He answered.

There was a small pause before... "That's racist." I said.

"That concludes the matches for today. Please leave the coliseum in a CALM AND ORDERLY FASHION!" Oobleck shouted, everyone blocking their ears.

"See why I hate this guy?" Damion growled.

"Starting to catch on, yes." Draco said, nodding.

"Come on, let's go congratulate 'em!" Yang said, team RWBY standing up and starting to walk off before the ship from before came into view, Weiss stopping and looking at it, causing Ruby to bump into her.

"What are you doing?" She asked.
