Ruby and Weiss quickly ran to the cliff to meet the approaching ship while team BDSS followed them at a casual walking pace. "Why are we here again?" Damion asked.
"We go where the plot needs us to go, my hominus nocturna (vampire) homie." I said.
"Nice alliteration" Draco said.
"Ofcourse, my conspicuous cohort." I said.
"Okay, that's enough now." Nicolas said.
"Weiss, what is the big deal?! Who is it?! Who is she?!" Ruby asked as she struggled to keep up with teammate.
"Winter..." Weiss said quietly.
"Wait, your sister?" Ruby asked.
"Oh, great. Another Schnee." Damion said.
"6 to 1 odds are she's gonna be as arrogant and stuck up as Weiss." Nicolas said.
"That's why we're not looking forward to this." I said.
"And because the Schnees hate the Blades for kicking their company's ass?" Draco asked.
"Mostly." I confirmed.
"WINTER!" Weiss shouted, causing her sister to turn around. She was tall enough that Weiss only came up to her chest, wearing a white coat, white pants and white boots, the only article of clothing with some extra color was her blue vest. She also had an interesting (weird) hairstyle: done up in a bun with a loose curl going down in front of her left ear going down to her shoulder and bangs on the right side of her face, covering it depending on the angle you saw her at. The two huntresses in training rushed up to the Atlesian specialist as we again only followed at walking speed. "Winter, I'm so happy to see you!" Weiss said happily and excitedly, before restraining herself. "Oh. Your presence honors us." She said with a curtsy.
"Beacon. It's been a long time. The air feels... different." Winter said tonelessly as she walked up.
"I mean, it is Fall, so... it's probably colder." Ruby said, to which Weiss punched her.
"Was that necessary?" I asked. "You don't see me punching my teammates when they do or say something stupid. And I'm the leader of my team, which you aren't on yours." I said.
"Yeah, if anything, Ruby should punch you." Draco said.
"Draco, we don't promote violence, we just use it to protect people." I said, earning me a hypocritical look from the guys. "What?" I asked.
"Sai Blade." Winter said in a tone of dislike.
"Winter." I addressed respectfully, but like her, in a tone that showed my dislike towards you.
"I'm impressed YOU of all people made it into Beacon, much less becoming the leader of a team." She said.
"Well, just like our company, us Blades are a cut above the rest." I said, earning a glare from both Schnees.
"It might just be possible Beacon lowered its standards for slackers that think power is the only thing needed in our profession." Winter retorted.
"Scathing." I said uncaringly.
"That's enough, Sai." Nightshade said as he and Kinshiro walked up. "That's no way to speak to a superior officer. And superior person." He finished.
I glared at him, then sighed. "Oh, right, I forgot to add this earlier, but those two showed up for the tournament to watch us and team SUSN in action after they fought alongside us in our respective stories." I explained to the 4th wall.
"Nightshade, always good to see you." Winter said, holding out her hand as Nightshade walked up, taking it in his hand and kissing it, earning a shocked and creeped out look from Weiss.
"Wait, didn't we JUST say the Schnees and Blades hate each other?" Draco asked.
"They're the one exception. They went to the academy in Atlas together. Same team." I explained.
"I feel like you added this to make Nightshade even less likable." Damion added.
"MAYBE..." I said.
"We're very similar. We don't fool around when there's an important mission to be done and we try to push our younger, slacker siblings to better lengths." Nightshade said, Winter looking at him in approval.
"If so, it's working." Damion said.
"I told you guys before: he's just a long-winded bastard." Kinshiro said.
"That you did." Draco said, high-fiving the older demon.
"And you, Kinshiro, are just as much a careless slacker as Sai." Winter said pointedly.
"Yeah, but at least I don't shit on my sibling's achievements." He countered.
"SO! What are you doing here?" Weiss asked, attempting to get her sister's attention back.
"Classified." Winter said, again tonelessly, but at least she did look at Weiss.
"Oh, right. Well, how long are you staying?" Weiss asked again.
"Classified." She said again.
"Not a very conversational person, are you?" I asked.
"Oh, shut up!" Weiss said, looking at me, then at Winter. Like I said, Winter didn't do anything to contribute to the conversation Weiss was trying to continue.
Ruby was the one to break the silence first. "Well, this is nice. I think." Ruby said.
"Yeah, I'm just as unsure as you, Ruby." Damion agreed.
"How do you get the candy to come down?" I asked, having pulled out my Scroll and started playing candy crush.
Weiss again tried to fuel the dying conversation. "You're going to love it here! I know you travel a lot, but so much of Beacon is different from Atlas! Vale, too! Can you believe it?!" She asked cheerfully.
"Damn, I think this is the only other time besides when she saw Zwei we've actually seen her happy about something." Damion said.
"That's what happens when you base a character off the color white. Very little texture, color or flavor." Draco said, to which I pointed at him.
"NICE!" I said.
"I'm more than familiar of how this kingdom handles its... bureaucracy. That is not why I came." She said.
"Right. I'm sorry." Weiss apologized.
"Does EVERYONE from Atlas think that place is better than everywhere else?" Nicolas asked.
"With the government, military and school all connected, I wouldn't be surprised." Damion said.
"Yep. Glad I don't live there. Vacuo may be the boonies, but Atlas is where all the snobs live." I said.
"Nor did I come to see my own blood fail so miserably in battle. But it appears I have no choice in the matter." Winter added as her ship closed.
"Fail?" Team BDSS asked together.
"But, we won!" Weiss said.
"Only a novice would refer to that as a victory. I counted at least 3 strikes missed." She continued to rain on her sister's parade, Weiss flinching hard at this.
I may not like her, but if there's one thing I hate, it's when someone tears apart a badass fight. "She did her best. And as much as you Atlas chumps think you own on the battlefield and never mess up, there's never any guarantees in a fight. There's always variables and things you can't account for: your opponents skills and strategies, what they bring into the battlefield, it never ends. The only thing you can or SHOULD hope for in the end is victory, not how good or bad you can do. And you can do is your best." I said.
"Sai..." Weiss said, shocked I was defending her.
"You did no better. Your team came MUCH closer to losing than hers did." Winter countered.
"Yeah, against a team just as strong as us, if not a little stronger. But in the end we won and that's all I care about. I don't berate myself or my team for winning. And you wouldn't have done any better." I said.
"Shut up. There's always room for improvement." Nightshade snapped.
"To perfectionist assholes." I said.
"Fine, I'll let it go. Leave us." Winter ordered, her Atlesian Knight bodyguards backing off. She then sighed, looking at Weiss with a much softer, gentler look. "How have you been?" She asked.
Weiss instantly brightened up. "Oh, splendid! Thanks for asking! I'm actually in the very top ranking of our sparring class-" She started.
"After us, since no one can compete with us." I said.
"The rest of my studies are going wonderfully, too." Weiss said.
Suddenly, Winter brought her hand down, smacking Weiss in the top of the head. "Bout time someone hit her." Draco said.
"Silence, you boob! I don't recall asking about your ranking! I'm asking how you've been: have you been eating properly? Have you taken up any hobbies? Are you making new friends?" Winter asked as Weiss rubbed the spot where Winter hit her, revealing a welt after she moved her hand.
"Well, there's these guys, although 'friends' is stretching the term." Weiss started.
"Hate you, too, bitch." I said in a sassy tone, a margarita in my hand from nowhere.
"Got her!" Nicolas said.
"Hiarious!" Draco laughed.
"One of the few times you're actually stupid and funny." Damion said with a slight chuckle.
"I see..." Winter said, narrowing her eyes.
"And then there's Ruby." Weiss said, pointing to her leader.
"Heh! Boob!" Ruby giggled, pushing the bump back down into Weiss' head.
"I see... So this is the leader you wrote of. How appropriately... Underwhelming." She said, looking at Ruby.
"Uh... Thank you." Ruby said awkwardly.
"Not a compliment." Team BDSS said.
"Hey, don't be fooled. She's a kid, but she can handle herself and her team." Kinshiro said.
"That WAS a compliment!" Ruby said happily.
"Greetings, Ruby Rose. I wish to thank you for taking an interest in my sister." Winter said.
"Why are you talking like an alien?" Draco asked.
"And what do you mean by interest? Weiss, what did you write to make her use that phrase? White Rose Confirmed?!" Nicolas asked, looking at Winter, then Weiss, then getting right in front of the 4th wall.
"I thought their pairing was called Ice Flower." Damion said.
Ruby was a little surprised at Winter talking to her and attempted to speak elegantly. "Oh, yes! Of course! The honor is in my... court!" She said, giving a salute, then a curtsy, almost falling over in the process, to which she giggled nervously.
"That's better proper speaking than I can do." I said.
"Because your an idiot." Nightshade said.
"Because he doesn't try to and doesn't care." Kinshiro said.
"You know me so well brother." I said, fist-bumping Kinshiro.
"I have business with the general and your headmaster. But, seeing as how I'm early, why don't you show me to your quarters?" Winter asked.
"Really?!" Weiss said excitedly.
"Yes. I wish to inspect them. See if they're up to my personal standards." She said as she, Weiss and her soldiers walked off towards the school.
"I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they're not." I guessed.
"I don't want to imagine what her standards are." Damion said.
"Of course! Just so you're aware, the bunk beds only LOOK unstable." Weiss informed her sister.
"Bunk... beds?" Winter asked, confused.
"I'll catch up-!" Ruby started, before correcting herself. "Wait! I mean! I will... reconvene with you both... at a later... JUNCTURE! At a juncture, yeah." She processed carefully.
"Good job. Again, better than what I wouldn't attempt to try." I said.
"Can we go now?" Damion asked.
"Not yet, I have a feeling something's about to go down." I said.
Meanwhile, as the sisters walked towards the school, followed closely by one set of two knights, another set following a few yards behind, someone wobbly approached the two back trailing knights, grabbing the one on the right, ripping its head off and letting it roll to the feet of the other knights. "Hey... Yeah, I'm talking to you... Ice Queen." The clearly drunken figure said.
"Oh, snap! It's the homie Qrow!" Kinshiro said happily.
"Qrow... That drunken bastard." Nightshade growled.
"Man, you don't like anyone who's not a straight-laced asshole." Kinshiro said, chugging from a bottle of vodka from nowhere.
"Qrow... Where have I heard that before... Remembering..." I said, remembering.
Flashback...
"I've got an awesome uncle named Qrow! I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now I'm all like... Hiyaaaa Whataaa!" Ruby said, doing Karate stuff.
Next scene...
"Our uncle Qrow saved our lives once when we were younger." Yang said.
Final scene...
"My uncle Qrow helped me design Crescent Rose." Ruby said as she proudly held up her weapon.
Back to now...
"Remembering..." I said one last time.
"Well?" Damion asked.
"I got nothing." I said, to which my team facepalmed.
The other knights prepared to move in on Qrow, but... "Halt!" Winter ordered, bringing the androids to a stop.
"Excuse me... Do you have any idea who you're talking to?" Weiss asked, walking up to Qrow and getting in his face.
"Oh, no! It's the arrogant brat we thought we left behind in Volume 1!" I said in fear.
"Nooo!" My team shouted in anguish.
Qrow simply put one hand over to her face, putting a finger to his lips with the other and shushing her. "Not you." He said, looking at Winter and pushing Weiss out of the way.
"Hey!" She complained. Winter narrowed her eyes at this.
"I like this guy." I said.
"You..." He said to Winter. A crow cawed nearby before flying off. "Saw that gaudy ship of yours in town. Guess you're here, too." He said.
"I'm standing right before you." She said.
"She's got a point." I said.
"You realize you just destroyed Atlast Military property." Winter informed him.
"Meh, they're a dime a dozen." I said.
"More like a thousand a piece." Nightshade said.
"First off, they definitely aren't in terms of quality and two, like I said, a dime a dozen." I said.
"Oh, right. We keep forgetting your rich." Draco said.
Qrow, however, wasn't phased. "Ooh, I'm sorry. See, I mistook this for some sort of sentient garbage." He explained.
"That bastard! That's state of the art military hardware." Nightshade growled.
"Dude, relax. BladeCorp didn't make them, so we shouldn't care." Kinshiro said.
"I don't have time for your immature games... Qrow." Winter said in the same tone of dislike she gave to me.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Weiss asked walking up to her sister.
"Gee. You Atlas Specialists think you're SO special, don't you?" Qrow asked.
"It's in the title." Winter and Nightshade said at the same time.
"Well, you know what you really are? A bunch of sellouts. Just like your boss." Qrow said.
"Okay, that's it, I'm gonna kill him." Nightshade said.
"Intervention." Kinshiro and I said together, me quickly throwing a knee at Nightshade's stomach, which he blocked, but was unprepared for Kinshrio's flying knee to the back of the head.
"I love doing that." I said.
"Knocking out your own brother?" Damion asked.
"Just Nightshade." I said.
Luckily, this went unnoticed with the whole crowd focused on Winter and Qrow. "I'm not sure what you think you're implying, but I've heard enough." Winter said angrily.
"Oh, I've heard, too. I've heard old Ironwood finally turned his back on Ozpin." Qrow retorted.
"Ozpin?" Weiss asked.
"Weiss, it's time for you to go." Winter said, pushing her sister back a bit.
"Listen to big sister, Weiss. She'll protect you." Qrow said.
"Not from what we've seen so far." I said.
"Just like Atlas is gonna protect all of us, huh?" Qrow continued to taunt.
"If your won't hold your tongue, than I will GLADLY remove it for you." Winter growled.
"Alright then." Qrow said, staggering a bit, before slicking his hair back, Vergil style. "Come and take it." He said.
"FINALLY! We get to the fight of the episode." I said.
"I'm beginning to think you're obsessed with violence." Damion said.
"I'm beginning to think you're on to something there." I said.
Winter suddenly rushed forward and, in an instant, was right in front of Qrow, striking at his face with her sword, but he easily dodged each one, ducking the last one into a bow. She swung downwards at his back, but didn't seem to notice the LARGE CLAYMORE covering it. Qrow then drew the weapon, spinning once with it, getting an awed noise from the crowd as he took his stance. Winter looked surprised at first, then simply took her own stance with one hand behind their back. The two made small movement with their sword, as if testing each other before Qrow knocked hers back and repeatedly spun in a circle, swinging the sword outward with his left hand as he came to face Winter after each spin as she repeatedly back handsprung under the strikes until they finally locked blades, then both striking at each other rapidly.
"What's going on?!" Ruby asked.
"Some crazy guy just started attacking my sister!" Weiss answered, pointing towards the fight.
"Oh, no! Who would do such a- THAT IS MY UNCLE!" Ruby said excitedly.
"OH! That's where I heard Qrow's name from." I said, my team facepalming again.
"What?!" Weiss asked her leader in disbelief.
"KICK HER BUTT UNCLE QROW!" Ruby cheered.
"Teach him respect, Winter!" Weiss gave her own sort of cheer to her sister.
Mercury walked by, at first barely sparing a glance until he realized just who he saw, looking in shock and worry before quickly taking off. Meanwhile, the fight continued with the two rushing past each other, exchanging rapid strikes. Winter managed to smack Qrow across the face, but that barely phased him as he looked back at her with a wild look in his eyes, which shined for a moment. Winter looked at him in fear for a moment, before using a glyph to jump back, Qrow slamming his claymore into the ground and creating a giant crater "Aww, her semblance is glyphs, too? That's kinda disappointing." I said.
"I think Rooster Teeth got lazy on that one." Nicolas said.
Qrow looked up into the air to see Winter flying back and landing off the paved area on to the grass near a light pole. As she landed, she looked up in fear to see Qrow leaping towards her, jumping back as he swung and slicing through the pole. She jumped over him, blocking his attacks and backflipping as he swung again, managing to land on his weapon. Where she backflipped again to kick him in the face, landing on the stump of the lightpost before backflipping again and landing on some kind of arc thing, before jumping away as Qrow shot at her, stabbing her sword into the archway she jumped to. Qrow got the weapon back in its striking mode, before rushing in, Winter running up and onto the archway, running along at it as Qrow continued to fire at her. He jumped onto the opposing archway and fired at her until it eventually looked like he hit her, white smoke going everywhere. He looked closely through it until she dived through it towards him with a scream of rage as he prepared himself. Suddenly, she pulled her weapon into two separate swords. The two collided and knocked each other down, creating another small crater where they landed before rapidly exchanging blows once again.
"Damn, this is getting intense! That Qrow guy's a badass. He's toying with Winter as she's giving it her all." Damion said.
"You got that right, buddy." I said.
Eventually, Winter managed to knock him back, Qrow having to use his sword to bring himself to a stop, now holding his sword backhand in his right hand. Winter reconnected her swords and crouched, stabbing one into the ground and creating a glyph under her. Suddenly, a bunch of bird of light flew towards Qrow and started slamming into him or trying to cut him with his wings. Winter smirked as it looked like Qrow was finally struggling, canceling the glyph and getting back to her feet, looking at him in rage as he looked at her with a glare. She created a large glyph behind her and the gears in Qrow's sword started turning, the blade separating into segments and starting to curve around as Winter put more and more power into the glyph. "This is it." I said.
Suddenly, Qrow saw something and stopped his weapon's transformation and put it away, much to the audiences disappointment and Winter's confusion. He then curled his finger towards himself, taunting her to come get him, successfully enraging her as she flew towards him with a shout of anger. She got in front of him and thrusted her sword towards his neck, before... "Schnee!" General Ironwood called, Winter stopping her thrust mere inches from Qrow's neck. She looked back in surprise and indeed saw the general with a line of Atlesian knights on either side of him and Penny behind him.
"General Ironwood, sir!" She said, standing at attention.
"What in the world do you think you're doing?" He asked her.
"He started the altercation, sir!" She told him.
"What a snitch." I said.
"That's actually not true. She attacked first." Qrow said.
"Is that right?" Ironwood asked, looking at her. She looked scared again for a moment, before dropping her head in anger.
"But technically, he destroyed the robots and invited her attack." Damion said.
"And you..." Ironwood said, looking at Qrow, who pointed to himself with his thumb. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I could be asking you the same thing." Qrow said.
"I-" Ironwood started, before another voice rang out.
"Now, now..." Ozpin said as he and Glynda walked up. "There is a sanctioned fight happening just around the corner at the coliseum. That I can assure you has better seats. And popcorn." Ozpin said.
"But wait, I thought all fights were done for today." I said, the guys nodding.
"Break it up, everyone! WE will take care of this mess." Goodwitch said.
There was a small pause before... "Let's go." Ironwood said, Winter, Penny and the Knights following him as Qrow simply stood there.
Ruby broke through the crowd and waved at Penny after the retreating Android... Wait, would Penny be an Android or a Cyborg? I forget. Oh well, the two of them gave a cute goodbye wave to each other before Ruby ran towards her beloved... "UNCLE QROOOOOOW!" She shouted happily, latching onto his arm. "Hi." She said. He looked at her in surprise and lifted his arm into the air, lifting Ruby off the ground with no effort. She squealed happily and kicked her legs around before speaking again. "It's so good to see you! Did you miss me?! DID YOU MISS ME?!" She asked excitedly.
"Nope." He said with a smile, probably meaning he didn't mean it, ruffling her hair.
"Aww, that's cute." I said.
"Yeah, Ruby always manages to be adorable." Damion said.
"Easy partner, remember which sister you're dating." I said, earning me a punch in the face.
"Qrow!" Ozpin called, Ruby sliding off his arm and hitting the ground. "A word, please. Nightshade, Kinshiro, We might need to borrow you two as well." He said as Goodwitch fixed the destruction he caused.
"I think I'm in trouble." Qrow whispered to his niece.
"You did kinda tear up our courtyard." She said.
"Yeah, I did. Catch ya later, kid." He said, fist-bumping her and walking off.
"Qrow, my man! Long time no see!" Kinshiro said, holding out a beer.
"Good to see you, too. And no thanks, I've got my own." Qrow said, taking a swig from a flask.
"A shame to see you're just as much of a fool as ever." Nightshade said,
"You're just mad because I beat up your girlfriend." Qrow said, causing Nightshade to growl.
"Yeah, I'm definitely starting to see why you don't like your brother." Damion said.
"Yeah, he's definitely not the easiest person in the world to get along with." I said.
"And suddenly your recklessness makes sense." Weiss said, walking back up to her partner.
"Your just mad 'cuz he whooped butt." Ruby said.
"That was a draw at best." Weiss said.
"Kinda hard to call it a draw when one guy wasn't even trying." I said, to which she started strangling me, but I didn't even feel it.
In Ozpin's office...
Winter paced angrily back and forth with her hands behind her back until the elevator arrived, Qrow, Ozpin, Goodwitch and my brothers getting out. "What were you thinking?!" Winter snapped.
"If you were one of my men, I'd have you shot!" Ironwood snapped.
"If I was one of your men, I'd shoot myself." Qrow said, pulling out his flask.
"Do us ALL a favor and shoot yourself." Nightshade said, stepping up between Winter and Ironwood.
"You know we're friends." Qrow said in a warm tone.
"If I don't even like my own brother, I damn sure don't like you." He said.
"While I wouldn't CONDONE his actions, retaliating like you did CERTAINLY didn't help the situation." Goodwitch said.
"He was drunk!" Winter argued.
"He's always drunk." Goodwitch simply said.
"And what's wrong with that?" Kinshiro asked, polishing off his Vodka bottle as Qrow took another drink from his flash, before realizing he was being watched, but simply shrugged and continued drinking. "Besides, you Schnee's have real anger issues." Kinshiro said.
Ozpin looked in disbelief at this, before sighing, sitting down and addressing his main question. "Qrow, why are you here?" He asked.
"You've been out of contact for weeks! You can't just go dark like that in the field!" Ironwood snapped.
"We all assumed something happened to you and were preparing to be compromised." Nightshade said.
"They already infiltrated Beacon and got intel. We are compromised. At this point, no one has a good excuse." Kinshiro said.
"I'm not one of your special operatives, Jimmy." Qrow said.
"GENERAL." Winter said.
"Whatever." He said uncaringly.
"So, how about we address the big issue here. Find anything out?" Kinshiro asked before things got out of control.
"You sent me to get intel and I'm telling you, the enemy is here." Qrow said.
"We know." Ironwood said, sitting against Ozpin's desk.
"Oh! You know! Well thank goodness I'm out there risking my life to keep you all informed!" Qrow snapped, to which the general scoffed.
"It's part of the job, deal with it." Nightshade said.
"And you could deal with giving a call every once in a while! Communication's a two way street, pal! You see this?! This is the send button!" Qrow said, pulling out his scroll.
"They had reason to assume you'd been compromised." Winter said.
"And I have reason to assume you don't need to be here! Seriously! Who invited her?!" Qrow asked, pointing to her.
There was a small pasue before. "Schnee, we'll discuss this incident back on my ship." Ironwood said.
"But, sir!" She started.
"Winter, it's not worth it. Don't give Qrow the satisfaction of you having to be told twice." Nightshade said in a soft tone.
She nodded at this and left, after giving Qrow a glare. "Kiss ass" Kinshiro said. Nightshade tried to punch him in the face, but her turned so his fist connected with the metal part of his face.
"Bastard." Nightshade said, holding his hand.
"Go on." Ironwood said to Qrow.
"Your little infiltrator isn't just another pawn. They're the ones responsible for Autumn's condition." Qrow said, turning his back and taking another drink from his flask.
"What?!" Goodwitch asked in disbelief.
"Impossible! Sai or Serena should've felt that kind of power this whole time!" Nightshade said.
"They've never dealt with the Four maiden's power before and there's two different sources. I can't even feel it now." Kinshiro said.
"Despite what the world thinks, we're not just teachers or generals or headmasters. The people in this room, the leaders of the other two academies, we're the ones that keep the world safe from the evils no one even knows about. It's the reason why we meet behind closed doors, why we work in the shadows. So you tell me, James, when you brought your army to Vale, did you think you were being discreet, or did you just not give a damn?" Qrow asked, getting in Ironwood's face.
"He's got a point. An entire fleet isn't exactly subtle." Kinshiro said.
"As much as I hate to agree with either or them, even I thought that was a bad idea, but I couldn't convince you otherwise." Nightshade told the general.
"Discreet wasn't working." Ironwood said, setting his scroll down on the desk, creating a hologram of his fleet. "I'm here because THIS is what was necessary." He said, gesturing to said hologram.
"YOU'RE here because Ozpin wanted you here! He opened your eyes and pointed you to the real threat that's in front of us." Qrow said.
"And I am grateful." He said.
"Well, you've got a real funny way of showing it." Qrow retorted.
"The people of Vale needed someone to protect them. Someone who would act." Ironwood said.
"And your actions are stirring up tension and uneasy feelings. A damn Grimm buffet!" Kinshiro said.
"And when the Grimm attack, we have an army to destroy them." Nightshade argued.
"Thank you, Nightshade. When they look to the sky and see my fleet, they feel safe. And our enemies will feel our strength." Ironwood finished.
Qrow laughed at this. "You... You think they're scared of your little ships?! I've been out there and I've seen the things she's made. And let me tell you... They ARE fear." Qrow said.
"And as Kinshiro quaintly put it, fear will bring the Grimm. A guardian is a symbol of comfort. And an army is a symbol of conflict. There's an energy in the air now. A question in the back of everyone's minds: If this is the size of our defenses..." He started.
"What is it we're expecting to fight?" Kinshiro and Nightshade finished with him in realization.
Ironwood simply sighed and recollected his scroll. "So, then. What would you suggest we do?" He asked.
"I suggest we find our guardian." Ozpin said.
In Cinder's room...
"And you're sure?" Cinder asked, pacing in front of Mercury.
"Bad hair, used a scythe and smelled like my dad after a long day. It was him." Mercury said (That was NOT a freaking scythe!).
"What do we do?" Emerald asked.
"Nothing. We stay the course. They have NO idea who we are. Besides. The last of the heavy lifting is being taken acre of. Thanks to our clever little friend." Cinder said, looking at her scroll. "Speaking of which, it appears we have a new access point." She said.
"Anywhere good?" Emerald asked.
"You could say that." She said with a smirk. "Go to your rooms. I'll prepare everything for tomorrow." She said.
"Yes, ma'am." Emerald said.
"Got it." Mercury said, the two of them getting up and leaving (how many dorms does Beacon have for all 3 of them, ON THE SAME "TEAM", to have their own rooms?).
"Let's give the crowd a good fight." She said, setting up Mercury and Emerald to fight Coco and Yatsuhashi.
"The randomization process is complete! Ladies and Gentlemen, your double tournament line up!" Port announced as the crowd cheered, Cinder doing the ominous and evil slow clap.
"You know, it's REALLY annoying to know who the bad guy is for this long and not be able to stop them yet." I said annoyed.
