Draco and Ruby watched in fear and disbelief as the massive Grimm dragon flew past their airship and towards Beacon. A couple of Griffons dropped onto the ship with them, at which point they fiercely fought and, with some difficulty, managed to bring down the horse-sized Grimm. Taking a few moments to rest, they then felt a presence behind them and turned to see Neo standing before them with her usual smirk, taking a picture of them and winking. "I hope you liked that picture, ice cream bitch! Because its your last!" Draco shouted, rushing in.
"Draco, wait!" Ruby tried to stop him, before rushing in along with him.
Back inside, Roman was quite annoyed when he saw the picture of Ruby. "Oh, you CANNOT be serious." He said, grabbing his scroll and leaving.
Back at Beacon...
Blake backed away in fear as Adam approached her. "Running away again? Is that what you've become, my love? A coward?!" He taunted/demanded.
"Why are you doing this?" She demanded.
"You and I were going to change the world, remember? We were DESTINED to light the fires of revolution!" He said self-righteously, then put his foot on the down human at his feet, drawing his sword. "Consider this the spark." He said, preparing to kill the defenseless human (you're about to kill someone who can't fight back and Blake's the coward?! What a jackass!)
Blake looked in disbelief at what Adam was about to do. He then raised his sword to deal the killing blow, but she quickly tackled him and saved the human, the two of them locking blades. "I'm... not running!" She said determinedly.
"You will." He said darkly. He then delivered a kick to her face, knocking her down. A creep rushed at her and lunged, but Adam shot it before it could attack. "But not before you suffer for your betrayal... my love." He said. (this modafucka needs to die HORRIBLY in Volume 4. Hell, out of PURE disrespect I want JAUNE to kill him!)
Back in the courtyard...
Velvet was struggling to get up off the ground, Coco rolling her out of the way of something, Neon and that skateboard chick rushing to slice through a few more Knights, Ren and Nora also taking on their own small battalion, team SUSN regrouping to take on a VERY large squadron of Atlesian Knights and team EVAD taking on a couple of Paladins as Nicolas and I focused on fighting the Grimm, Damion having gone off to find Yang.
"Well, I always wanted to die in battle!" Nicolas said, stabbing a Deathstalker through the head.
"You're not dying today, my friend. Just keep fighting!" I said, blocking an attack from an Alpha Beowulf, headbutting it and shooting it in the face after it recovered from staggering.
Weiss managed to freeze a Paladin's leg and rushed in, but didn't manage to do much. "Weiss!" Neptune called. Yatsuhashi blocked one of its fists, but clearly struggled to do so and was eventually thrown back.
"Damn, these things are tough!" Vega said, drawing his massive version of the Z-Sword and hacking down on one's head, cutting deep, but not enough to stop it.
"Yeah, Atlas built these things a little TOO tough!" Aisu said, struggling to hold back ones fist.
"But they can't stop the DEMON GOD!" Dumplin shouted, firing his Last Blast and managing to destroy one, but another came from nowhere and slammed him down on the ground with its fist.
While Ren was distracted, another Paladin came up behind him ready to attack. "Look out!" Nora shouted, pushing him out of the way and taking the attack instead.
"NORA! NOOOO!" Ren and I both shouted. We both tried to rush to her, but the Paladin knocked Ren out and blocked my path.
"I'm not proposing to her yet, but I still care about her, dammit! Get out of my way!" I shouted, stabbing into its head with Bloodfall, activating the chain and firing into its dome repeatedly with Lethalshot, bringing it down and rushing to her. "You'll be alright, Nora. Everything's gonna be fine!" I said, putting her arm over my shoulder, grabbing Ren under my arm and carrying them both to safety, closer to the airships and people who could protect them. I then turned back and saw two more Paladins coming, completely unfazed by the hail of bullets and other projectiles they were hit with. "Dammit!" I said, readying myself.
"Uh... this is bad..." Neptune said while firing.
"Well, I guess now's about a time as any. Velvet!" Coco called, looking to her bunny-eared teammate.
"Really?!" Velvet asked eagerly, holding her fists up in excitement.
"Just make 'em count!" Coco said, to which she nodded.
Velvet walked up to the two towering mechs rather casually as her theme song played. "What are you doing?!" She's gonna get hurt!" Weiss said worriedly.
"Just watch." Coco told her.
The frontline second-year then held out her arm, a holographic version of Crescent Rose appearing in her hand, surprising us all. She easily dodged a hail of bullets and leapt into the air, spinning and posing in mid-air much like Ruby famously did in the Red trailer, spiraling down and slicing through it, the scythe disappearing and being replaced by a familiar rapier: Myrtnaster. The Paladin swung its top half around in a 180, but Velvet simply brought up the sword and knocked the fist away, taking the machine off-balance, before rushing in and delivering a fast and powerful combo on the robot, easily staggering it, before swapping the fencing sword out for the most badass gauntlets in fictional history: Ember Celica.
She unleashed a few shots before ducking under a punch and switching to the final weapon of the titular team: Gambol Shroud. She used the digital ribbon of the sword to easily tie up and tip over the bulky machine. The other one advanced on her, but she threw the sheath into its head, doing significant damage and stunning it, allowing her to switch to Coco's minigun and unleash a hail of bullets on it. It pressed forward and tried to attack, but she dodged and slammed down on its head with Manghild and stunned it once again, as well as taking its arm off as the other one began to get back up. She then switched out for her next weapon: what appeared to be a backpack, before 8 familiar swords emerged from it and swung with her arms, easily slicing through the robot she previously stood on before she jumped back and held her arms out, the swords spinning and creating a blue energy ball, before unleashing a massive cyan beam that fried it.
But unfortunately, the first one got back up and delivered a powerful punch that sent her flying and knocked her out. "Velvet!" Coco shouted, reaching out for her.
The limping machine advanced on the down faunus, completely ignoring the onslaught of fire it took from all present fighters. "Damn... We're not even slowing it down!" I growled, before making up my mind. "Watch your fire, you better not hit me!" I shouted, rushing in and striking as fast and hard as I could. Even so, I was wearing down and my swords were low on fuel, so while I was slowing it, I sure as hell wasn't stopping it, before one massive punch knocked me down right beside Velvet. "Damn! Dammit all!" I growled, struggling to get up.
Weiss looked on in disbelief of the robot's strength and endurance before finally deciding she had to do something, rushing in, unaware of the new kind of glyph forming behind her. She put herself in between the mech and Velvet, raising her sword and preparing to block the attack, but she never felt it land, despite hearing a metal on metal clang. Looking up, she was shocked to see the familiar, now pure white sword of the knight she defeated in the White trailer, defending her and Velvet from the huge robotic fist. It deflected the fist into the ground and with two swings, easily cleaved the massive robot in half. Velvet snapped a picture and put on her usual bright smile before it vanished.
Suddenly, the ground began shaking fiercely as another one ran in from nowhere and now moved on a course for us. "You have GOT to be kidding me!" Sun said.
"Okay, that's it. No more Mr. Nice DEMON!" I shouted, activating my Devil Trigger and swinging my swords with everything I had. Even with none of their own power left, I easily cut through the massive robot, landing behind it as it fell into 4 pieces. "So, who or what's next?!" I demanded as Grimm, Knights and a few Paladins all started advancing towards me. "It's gonna be a long night..." I said, preparing myself.
Back on the flagship...
Ruby and Draco were attacking fiercely, but somehow, Neo still managed to evade them both, although she was noticeably putting effort into it. They fired at her, but her illusion shattered to reveal Torchwick, who fired one of his grenades or whatever the fuck he fires at them, knocking them both back. Ruby used Crescent Rose to dig into the ship and stop herself while Draco let himself be forced back and sprouted blood wings to fly up into the air as Torchwick walked up to Ruby. "Little Red, Little Red..." He started.
"Leave her alone!" Draco shouted, preparing to divebomb the mobster, but Neo suddenly jumped on his back and sliced off his wings with her sword, sending him tumbling back to the deck. "Oh, you bitch, that was a cheap shot..." He said through the pain, before being knocked out by a series of somehow elegant stomps to the head.
""You are just determined to be the hero of Vale, aren't you?!" He demanded.
"What are you doing?! Without these ships, the Grimm will destroy Vale!" Ruby said worriedly.
"That's the plan!" He said, swinging at her, but she deflected it and evaded some attacks from Neo, but was pushed to the edge in the process. She looked over at Draco, but he was still unconscious.
"But why? What do you get out of this!?" Ruby asked.
"You're asking the wrong questions, Red! It's not what I have to gain from this! It's that I can't afford to lose!" He said.
Ruby rushed in towards them, but Neo also rushed in and managed to disarm Ruby, before knocking him towards Torchwick, who did a surprising combo to knock her back, almost off the wing of the ship. (Damn, when this modafucka get good?! The bad guys aren't supposed to get good!). She managed to grab onto Crescent Rose, but was now dangling dangerously over an incredibly high drop with the sky filled with Grimm.
"I may be a gambling man, but even I know there's some bets you JUST DON'T TAKE." He said, darkly emphatic at the end as Neo stepped forward, readying a spike from the top of her umbrella, dragging it across the ground as she walked towards the edge, holding it out in front of Ruby's face. "Like it or not, the people who hired me are a force to change the world! You can't stop 'em! I can't stop 'em! You know the old saying: If you can't beat 'em-" He started, but during his rambling, Draco managed to recover.
"It doesn't matter, 'cuz WE'RE gonna beat YOU!" He said, rushing in and drop-kicking Torchwick away, quickly rolling to get within reach of Neo's umbrella and hitting a button to open it. The mute girl actually let out a gasp before massive wind force pulled her from the ship and into the Grimm-filled sky. "Fuck off, Mary Poppins!" He shouted, pulling Ruby back up on deck.
"Neo!" Torchwick shouted worriedly, reaching out for her.
"Can't fight without your bitch, huh, Torchwick?" Draco taunted.
"I don't care what you say! We will stop them and I will stop you!" Ruby said heroically.
"Nice, I liked that." Draco said, nodding in approval.
"BET ON THAT!" Ruby said, rushing in, but Torchwick fired a grenade, somehow caught it with his cane and flung it at Ruby, knocking her back and disarming, her, allowing him to rush in and knock her down with a few well-placed shots.
"Oh, come on! You give her that awesome moment, then ruin it in an instant!" Draco said, shaking his head at the 4th wall (directed at Rooster Teeth, but what are the odds they read this? Although, if they do, whoever's in charge of RWBY now, I'd like to see Sai in RWBY. Maybe he can prevent a few more main character deaths?) rushing in, but Torchwick caught him by the neck with the cane loop, pulled him in and delivered a few good knees to his stomach and head, before kicking him down beside Ruby. "You got spirit, kids, but this is the REAL world!" He said, knocking them down with another hard strike from his cane.
"I hate that show!" Draco said, struggling to get up, but was knocked down again.
"The real world is COLD! The real world doesn't care about spirit!" He said, swinging his cane down on Ruby, attempting to again, but she kicked him in the shin and satggered him a bit, allowing her to get up. "You wanna be a hero? Then play the part and die just like every other Hunstman in history!" He snapped, knocking her down again (is it just me, or are they TRYING to ruin the main character at this point? She is STRAIGHT UP getting her ass kicked this entire episode. Plus, she barely did anything to that last Nevermore and Mercury beat her up just before that!). He walked up, preparing to finish her off. Draco was weakly getting up, but he wouldn't get there in time. "As for me, I'm gonna do what I do best: Lie! Steal! Cheat! And survive-!" He went on, hitting Ruby after each word, but before he could deal the last hit after "survive", he was eaten by a Griffon. (Oh, my god! I'm gonna die laughing! I need a few minutes! 5 minutes later...)
"I don't have a way to retort for that. That's just funny." Draco said pointedly. The Grimm roared and rushed in, but Ruby screamed and rushed in as well, jumping off its head and sending it crashing into the control room, destroying everything. "It's coming down! We gotta go!" Draco told her.
"Right!" She said. She spotted Crescent Rose and formed a plan in her head. She rushed towards it as the ship nose-dived and began exploding, managing to grab it, jump off and fire a few rounds to slow her fall until she did a badass superhero landing on Beacon clifss.
"Oh, that was cool." Draco said, simply flying after her, but managed to take down a few Grimm on his way back.
Back in the city...
Goodwitch knocked away a decent group of Grimm, Qrow took down another Knight and even CARDIN managed to take down an Ursai, but was quickly halted at gunpoint from 2 more Knights, before their heads exploded, leaving him both relieved and dumbfounded... but that isn't too difficult.
It turned out to be the general, who survived because he was half Terminator and with a slow march, began taking down the rogue robots. "This area's secure! We need to-" He started, but Qrow looked at him furiously and FINALLY turned his sword into a scythe! (insert fangirl squeal). He then pointed it at Ironwood. "Qrow! This isn't my doing!" He said defensively.
Regardless, the seasoned uncle of RY rushed forward, dragging his scythe blade along the ground and jumping towards the general, who prepared to defend with his pistol, but Qrow jumped past him, effortlessly cleaving a Griffon targeting the unaware cyborg. "Hmph! You idiot. I know you didn't do this." Qrow finally answered. Glynda walked up to them at that moment and put a hand on his shoulder. "So, what now, general?" Qrow asked.
"Someone's done the impossible and gained control of MY machines! And that enormous Grimm seems fixated on the school." He answered, before looking at- "Glynda, gather up the local Huntsman and establish a safe zone here in Vale. We need to get to Beacon. Qrow, I'm leaving that to you and my men." He said, looking at the claymore/scythe-wielder. "I still need to get to my ship." He said, before the 3 looked over to see said ship crash and explode in Vale.
"Won't be much of a walk." Qrow said.
Suddenly, the robots began shutting down all throughout the city. At Beacon, I was ready to drive my sword into one more Paladin's head as it tried to crush me in its right hand and brought back its left hand to deliver one finishing punch. "Come on!" I challenged, before it suddenly fell to the ground, off-line. I reverted to my normal form out of surprise at that moment. "Okay... That works too..." I said, prying open the hand I was in and jumping out.
"Well, that went better than expected." Sun said.
"Hey!" They suddenly heard as Yang ran up. "Have you heard from Ruby?" She asked, but Weiss shook her head. "What about Blake or Damion?" She asked.
"She went after an Alpha... and some members of the White Fang. Damion went off to find you." The heiress tiredly answered.
"You look for Ruby, I'll meet up with Blake and Damion." Yang said, before taking off, to which Weiss gave a weak thumb's up.
Meanwhile...
Ozpin, Jaune and Pyrrha burst into the basement and rushed towards the machine Amber was in. "What is this place?" Jaune asked.
"It's a type of vault." Pyrrha answered.
"You've... been here before?" Jaune asked. She didn't reply. "What would this school need to... hide?" He asked. He got his answer as they finally reached the machines. "What?" He asked in disbelief.
"Jaune..." She started.
"Pyrrha! Get to the pods!" Ozpin ordered.
"Mr. Arc, if you'd like to help, you can stand guard here!" Ozpin said rather rudely, but hey, he's kind of in a rush. Jaune turned and admittedly took a pretty cool pose as he stood guard.
"What do we do now?" Pyrrha asked.
"WE... do nothing." He said, confusing her. He then opened the pod. "YOU, Ms. Nikos, have a choice to make." He said. She looked down, then at Jaune, then up, thinking about me, before wiping some tears and entering the pod.
Back with Blake...
"It could've been OUR day, can't you see that?!" Adam demanded as Blake was on the ground.
"I didn't want this! I wanted equality! I wanted peace!" She shouted, firing at him, but he easily blocked it with his sword.
"What you WANT is impossible!" He shouted, bitch-slapping her onto the ground. "But, I understand, because all I want is YOU, Blake." He said, kicking her weapon away.
"I've found someone else... someone better than you..." She said defiantly.
He scowled at this. "Then as I set out upon this world to deliver the JUSTICE mankind so greatly deserves, I will make it my mission to destroy this 'someone', along with everything else you love." He said.
Suddenly, they heard something in the distance. "Blaaaake!" Yang called, running into view outside the cafeteria, blasting back a White Fang member. "Blake, where are you?!" She called as Blake looked at her in horror, to which Adam smirked.
"Starting with her." He said darkly.
Back in the Vault...
Ozpin quickly went to work on the machine, but paused before he started. "Are you ready?" He asked. She nodded, but he was still hesitant. "I need to hear you say it." He said.
"Yes..." She said quietly, but he clearly heard her.
"Thank you, Ms. Nikos." He said, starting the process.
The aura then began to flow from Amber's body into Pyrrha's through a couple tubes, at which point Pyrrha screamed in pain and sorrow. "Pyrrha!" Jaune said worriedly, turning back to her and running up to them.
"I'm... so sorry..." Ozpin said regretfully.
Suddenly, an arrow came from nowhere and flew into Amber's chest, to which she awoke for one final moment, letting out a gasp before the life left her body. Ozpin and Jaune looked shocked, turning back to see Cinder had just fired an arrow (ONE JOB, JAUNE! ONE!).
Back in the cafeteria...
Adam unsheathed his sword and stabbed Blake in the abdomen, to which she let out a scream, alerting both Yang and Damion, who was not far away. "Huh?!" Yang asked, looking to see a man with a sword stabbed into her partner. "Get away from her!" She shouted.
"Yang!" Damion shouted as he ran in.
"No... Please..." Blake pleaded, holding out her arm in worry.
Yang shouted in fury, bursting into flames with her semblance and flying forward, ready to throw a devastating punch at Adam, but he unsheathed and swung his sword, severing Yang's arm, her aura not protecting her in the slightest (I FUCKING HATE! That sword! How the hell can it just cut through someone with full aura?! I! CALL! BULLSHIT!). "Yang..." Damion said in fear and disbelief, horrified at what he just saw, watching helplessly as Yang spun unconsciously in the air and collapsed to the ground.
Adam walked up to her, readying his blade, but Blake got in the way. "Why must you hurt me, Blake?" He asked.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Damion shouted in fury, rushing in and drawing a sword with a blade as red as that of Adam's, a sword made purely of fire, slamming the blade into Adam's sword as the terrorist blocked it, but the force easily pushed him back and he greatly struggled to stand against the furious assassin's strength. "She's not gonna hurt you, because I am going to massacre you!" He shouted, easily pushing Adam back and sending him crashing into a wall, leaving a large crater and bringing him to one knee. He then looked at Blake. "Get Yang out of here, NOW!" He ordered furiously, turning back as the wounded girls ran away. "I'll deal with this." He said.
Adam growled at this, but somehow regained his casual smirk as he stood up. "Impressive. But don't delude yourself. I've faced many creatures, machines and people with power far greater than my own and still finished them off with ease." He said.
Damion was unfazed by this, his glare only darkening. "You've NEVER faced power like mine before. I've done bad things before... horrible things... To human and faunus alike. But what I'm about to do to you..." He said, moving the hair covering his right eye, both piercing red eyes now glaring death at the leader of the White Fang. "Will give God himself nightmares." He said demonically, rushing in.

"DIE!" Damion shouted, rushing in and again locking blades with Adam, the faunus struggling once again to hold Damion back, but the vampire was unshaken, his arm staying perfectly still as Adam's arms trembled against the pressure, sweating greatly from the heat of Damion's sword, which began to make Adam's sword too hot to touch. "This is only the beginning." Damion said, producing another katana from nowhere, this one yellow. He slammed it into Adam's side, cutting through his jacket and shirt, leaving a thin, but long cut in his side, to which he slightly convulsed from the electric shock from the lightning sword.
"What is this power?!" Adam demanded, glaring at Damion and aiming his sheath/rifle at him.
Damion gained his own smirk at this."This is the power even the strongest beings in the universe shouldn't trifle with and power you'll never obtain: Damion Castro PISSED OFF." He said, menacingly walking forward. Adam fired several shots at Damion, who easily blocked all of them. He then disappeared, leaving Adam confused and unnerved.
"Where are you?!" He demanded. He then gasped as he sensed a dangerous presence behind him.
"Here." Damion said in a terrifying tone, bringing his fire sword down on Adam, who barely managed to block it with his katana. Damion then swung his lightning sword, aiming at Adam's leg, but the faunus once again narrowly blocked the attack with his sheath. But he was unprepared for what happened next. A pitch-black katana suddenly appeared sideways in Damion's mouth, the vampire using the blade of darkness to slash his opponent across the face, cutting through the Grimm mask and into Adam's cheek down to the bone. Adam shouted in pain at this and staggered back, allowing Damion to kick him in the chest and knock him back, skidding across the ground and slamming into some debris to stop him.
"You humans... You forced us to take such drastic measures... And you don't hesitate to slaughter us like the animals you see us as..." Adam said, standing with some effort.
Damion shook his head at this. "I never had any ill will against the faunus. When I was an assassin, all I cared about when I had my target was only that they were my target. Humans and faunus alike fell by my hands, I never discriminated or cared for one more than the other. In my new life, It still didn't matter to me who was what, I was willing to accept anyone for what they were. I stood against the White Fang because they were harming those who didn't deserve it, both humans AND faunus who refused to join their so-called 'noble cause'. But YOU, Adam Taurus, you've attacked and horribly injured the closest person to me on this planet after my sister. And for that reason, you have earned my greatest hatred and fury, in all of its unholy wrath!" Damion shouted, rushing in and attacking relentlessly with all 3 swords.
Adam struggled to block the attacks with his sword, but managed to do so, his smirk slowly returning. "It truly is a shame. You could've been one of the few humans we let live as a lower species than us. But no... You've allowed that traitor to escape me once again and made a fool out of me until now. And for that, you must die!" Adam said, blocking the two swords in Damion's hands once again and this time managed to push Damion back. Barely, but it was enough for him to unleash a slash that he believed would win him the fight, after having absorbed the massive amount of power and energy Damion had unleashed onto him.
No suck luck. "What?!" He demanded, his sword easily being held back by Damion's gauntlet on his right arm.
"I already told you: you've never encountered a power like mine. It's almost unstoppable when I'm calm. But when I'm angry, I doubt there's a force on this planet that could stop me. And you have made me very, VERY, ANGRY!" Damion snapped, thrusting his arm outwards to force back Adam and take him off-balance, allowing Damion to land a punch to the face with his gauntlet, a wave of red washing over his body as an indication that his aura had left him.

Adam grunted as he struggled to lift his body enough to attempt to crawl away, but Damion was upon him in a second, kicking him onto his back, kneeling on his chest and delivering several powerful punches to the face, all but shattering the Grimm mask that was the only thing left protecting Adam's face. "Your dream... Your revolution... will die with you." Damion said, raising his fist once again, but an Ursai bit onto it, preventing him from delivering a killing blow. Damion easily threw it off, but turned to see a large group of 20 more Ursai, including at least 3 Majors coming at him. "You want some, too?! Then come on! I've got enough left for everyone!" He shouted, rushing in and tearing through them with ease.
A couple of White Fang members also came at that moment and saw Adam on the ground, rushing to his side. "Sir!" One said, helping him as the other raised his gun to shoot at Damion, but Adam stopped him.
"No! We're pulling out for now. We've done all we can here. Let the Grimm take care of the rest." He said, limping off with the aid of the 2 soldiers.
Damion finally finished off the last of the Ursai and turned back to where he believed Adam would still be on the ground, maybe having been able to limp a little further, but found nothing there. "Taurus! This isn't over! You may have escaped today, but I promise, some day soon, you will die!" He shouted. As he began to calm down, he rationalized about the other things more important than revenger right now. "Yang... Selene... I'm coming." He said, taking off towards the docks.
Back in the vault...
The life faded from Amber and the power transfer stopped, her aura suddenly flying to Cinder, spiraling around her as her eyes flashed and she rose into the air, Pyrrha desperately banging on the door to her pod. Jaune was furious at this and rushed in to attack. "Stay back!" Ozpin warned, but too late. He rushed in and was easily blasted back with a marginal fragment of the new Fall Maiden's power.
"JAUNE!" Pyrrha screamed, slamming her fists into the pod door once more and sending it flying at Cinder, who easily knocked it away.
She rushed in to attack, but Ozpin stopped her. "Take Jaune and get out of here! Find Glynda, Ironwood, Qrow! Bring them here right away! The tower cannot fall." He ordered.
"But, I can help." Pyrrha offered.
"You'll only get in the way." He said. Pyrrha hesitantly nodded and grabbed Jaune, rushing past Cinder and towards the elevator, the fiery bitch making no attempt to stop them.
He now stood alone against the now complete Cinder, who made no effort to hide her confident smirk. "This whole time, it was right beneath our feet." She said as Ozpin tossed his cane to grab it, wielding it backhanded. "She was right about you... Such arrogance." She said.
