(after the horrors of Volume 3, let's hope this can lighten the mood a bit. It shouldn't be too hard to imagine Sai and his team as cute little chibis like everyone else, right?)
I was strutting down the halls of Beacon with "Here Comes The Boom" playing out of nowhere, when suddenly I heard a familiar girlish scream coming not too far down the hall in front of me. I ran to the scene and deadpanned when I saw what I thought was the source of the scream: Jaune. He was squealing like a girl as Cardin lifted him into the air in a huge wedgie, laughing evilly. "Hey, Cardin..." I said, annoyed my badass strutting was disturbed by this.
He turned around and dropped Jaune, who landed on the ground, face-first, before backing away, his hands raised defensively. "Oh, hey, Sai! I was just... BYE!" He shouted, quickly dashing down the hallway. I looked down at Jaune once more and shook my head, before continuing to strut down the hall with the song playing.
Later, my strutting was interrupted once again when I found Cardin yanking on Velvet's ears again. "Cardin..." I said, angrier than last time, the red of my eyes glowing brightly. He let her go and quickly ran off once again, allowing me to continue my strutting once again. I kept this up until I reached the locker room and saw Pyrrha at her locker. The music then changed to "Only You" as I slid up to and leaned on the side of her locker. "Hey, Pyrrha." I said slyly.
"Oh, hello, Sai!" She said brightly.
"So, what's going on?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing. Just heading out to do some sparring with Nora." She said, entering the combo and opening her locker. Suddenly, a massive mount of dirt poured out of it, causing us to both jump back, then look as a note floated out of the back of the locker, a drawing of team CRDL trying and failing to look cool in each corner while the center read: "Team CRDL rules!"
"Cardin..." I said in a tone of anger and disgust, looking up and the screen zooming in dramatically on my face. This was the last straw.
A little while later, team CRDL was in their dorm, laughing and recalling the mischief they'd caused today. Cardin went to and opened the window, just in time to see a wrecking ball flying towards their dorm with Nicolas and Nora riding on it. "~I came in like a wrecking ball~!" They sang together as they smashed into the dorm before being pulled back out, the disgrace team walking to the edge of their destroyed dorm and looking out in time to see me get out of the cab of the crane and flip them off with both fingers.
"Not so fun getting bullied, is it?!" I demanded.
The background then turns a blood red and Draco jumps into the middle of the screen while doing the Berserker Barrage with his claws, before surfing off-screen on a wave of blood.
We now see the young blood demon looking intently at his scroll while swiping epically on the screen. While doing this, he passed by several dorms with their doors open, the first was Mercury's, where, had he looked in, he would've seen the grey-haired boy adjusting his metal legs with a screwdriver. However, he was too distracted by his scroll to look up, even as he passed by the room belonging to the disguised Neo, who currently was not disguised and was repeatedly stabbing a picture of Yang with her hidden sword. The final open dorm he passed was Cinder's, where she stood by a small blackboard on a tripod, the blackboard reading "Secret Evil Plan", which she pointed out several phases of said plan with a stick to Emerald, who watched and listened intently. It appears the blood demon finally realized what was happening, as he suddenly gasped and stormed into the room. The girls prepared to attack to prevent their cover from being blown, but were then weirded out as Draco stuck his scroll in their faces. "Emerald! Cinder! Oh, my god! I JUST. CAUGHT. A PIKACHU!" He said, revealing he was playing Pokemon Go on his scroll. "Oh! Now there's a Jigglypuff! You get back here!" He said, rushing out of the dorm while furiously swiping on the scroll.
The background turned now to a fiery red as I jumped into the middle of the screen, rising into the air a bit and launching a fireball towards the screen to transition the scene.
We now see Ruby and myself in a room similar to an armory, making upgrades to our weapons. Ruby finished first and both proudly and eagerly lifted up Crescent Rose, the blade now somewhat longer and sharper and, based on the way she spun it, much lighter. "Oh, yeah! Crescent Rose remains the best scythe EVER!" She said, snuggling up to her deadly weapon, looking over to what I was doing as I finished, her jaw dropping.
I know held a scythe with 3 serated energy blades with a spear tip on the bottom, swinging it around awesomely before turning it into a minigun 3 times the size of a normal one and unloading a few rounds on a target in the corner, before pressing a button and turning it into a massive, 5-barreled cannon more than twice my size. I then pressed the trigger and energy began to glow in the barrels of the cannon, before firing 5 enormous laser beams at the target, creating a massive explosion, smoke filling the whole room and leaving both of us covered in soot. I smirked at this and put my scythe away before looking back at Crescent Rose. "Huh. Cute." I said, before leaving, Ruby still in awe and disbelief.
