Chapter 4: An Unexpected Occurrence

Thank you to everyone who followed and liked my story, I am planning on making a complete story, I know the feeling when I love the story and then they stop with it, IT SUCKS!

Like I said before I am posting once everyday for sure until I start school then I will see what I can do.

Also, expect a very,very cool twist from me to make this story REALLY interesting! *mischievous look*

Leo's POV: A.N I always people don't use Leo enough in the storys, it is always Percy,Annabeth,Jason,Nico, or Harry's POV

I was on the Argo ll making sure that everything was in working order, per usual. It was the morning after the we arrived and the feast. Everyone was already awake, thanks to the difference our sleep schedules were all off. After laying down down in my cabin for 3 hours and not falling asleep I went to the engine room to find something to fix. Fixing stuff is really all I was good for, except making sure that nobody was not laughing and burning stuff up.

We were planning on all putting our names in the goblet thing after breakfast together. I already knew it was gonna be Percy, Jason, or maybe Annabeth. Holy Hera Annabeth is scary sometimes, she could totally win this tournament.

"Leo. leo? LEO!" I was jolted out my thoughts by Hazel. "You okay Leo?" she asked,"Um yeah I am fine, just thinking" I said."You sure because you have been twisting the same screw for the last 5 minutes." She said, I looked down and realized she was right I finished putting the screw in and stood up."I am fine, what is it?" I asked her, she replied,"We are going up to the castle for breakfast."

"Okay, I will change into something cleaner and come up on deck." I said after I noticed I was covered in grease and soot from being in the engine room for hours. She nodded and went back up the stairs.

I went back into my cabin washed my face and through on a new camp half-blood shirt and some suspenders that seemed clean. Then I put on my tool belt which looked like a normal belt to everyone else but me so I wouldn't be to weird.

When I got on deck I saw Percy and Annabeth kissing Yuck, piper and jason were talking,and Hazel was laughing as frank turned into a green iguana and then back into a human. I wish Calypso then I would not feel like I am third,no seventh wheeling like on our big save the world quest. No one noticed me until I gave a little cough.

"Oh Leo, when did you get here?" Jason asked. "Like 30 seconds ago,where are Nico, Thalia, Lou, and Chiron?" I asked. Frank gave me an answer and said that they went on up ahead.

"Well, I am a very hungry leo, and hungry and leo are words that shouldn't mix." I said , Percy agreed and said that Percy and hungry also don't mix, and with that we went of to breakfast.

When we walked in a lot of heads turned to see us, I put on my grin and went to sit at the Gryffindor table with the others. The girl from yesterday practically dragging her two friends to come and sit with us.

I lit another fire and we did our whole sacrifice to the gods thing as people watched. It felt being watched so much, we had had enough of that after coming back from the hole prophecy seven thing. Me especially after I died and then came back to life. Like the Wait isn't this guy supposed to be dead looks, we all get those right.

We all finished our breakfasts and went to put our names into the fire thingy. We had to write our name on PARCHMENT and QUILLS, like have these people hear of paper and pens. Then we walked into the room and all eyes were on us, again.

There were a lot people who were waiting to watch who put their names into the goblet. I was a little nervous because of the age thing, I was afterall only 16. Even though Dumbledore had said that we were excused I did not want to be blasted to bits or something. But I passed this glowing circle that I thing he called an age line and put my name in no problem.

The others did the same and the wall hurried out and went back to the Argo ll. I went back to my cabin to do some random tinkering.

After about a half hour, Jason knocked and entered and said,"Hey Leo, what ya doing?" I shrugged and answered,"Not much really just building stuff."

We sat in silence for a few minutes then Jason said,"Who do you think will be chosen?" Again I shrugged still building stuff and said,"Probably you, Nico, Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Lou Ellen, Will, or Thalia." Jason looked at me and said,"You just named everyone on the ship except yourself." I looked up and said,"I did?" then went back to building.

Jason just looked at me and said something about finding Piper and left. I spent pretty much the entire day like this and completely forgot to go lunch, which was not like me, AT ALL. I looked at my clock and then realized it was a little bit before dinner and got up and went on deck.

Everyone was up their waiting, and I got up there Percy said,"Finally you are here." Percy gets grumpy when he is hungry and he has been sad about the lack of blue food.

"Here I am now again, leo and Hungry dont mix and will most likely result in fire so lets go." I said and it was like de va ju, we go into the great hall everyone stares at us, we sacrifice, then we eat, then we leave. Exactly like that morning.

Again, I could not get to sleep so as normal I went to the engine room and scoured for something to do.

It was Halloween and today the as they put it 'champion' to be chosen. Whenever we entered less people stared at us and I was happy about that, also whenever I lit my hand on fire less people screamed. YAY!

We were sitting in the great hall and dinner had just started and people were hurriedly eating as to finish fast and that would make the food go away fast. Newsflash, the food was gonna stay for the same amount of time no matter how fast you ate. I totally thought they were gonna through up late.

About 20 minutes later dessert popped up as well and people started shoveling that down too.

About a half hour later dessert disappeared and almost everyone in the hall was so antsy you would think they all had ADHD like us. The was conversation everywhere and it was so loud I could barely here myself think.

Then Dumbledore stood and all sound stopped abruptly, and I mean ALL noise. It even sounded like they were all holding their breath.

"We all know what today is, it is the day to chose each schools champion." He said then explained that if our name was called we were to go to through the door at the side of the staff table and then they brought out the Goblet.

The fire promptly turned red and shot out a a slip of parchment."The Durmstrang champion is...Viktor Krum!" A boy who looked to be about eighteen stood up and walked through the door, we all clapped as he walked.

Then it went silent as the fire turned red piece of paper came out and Dumbledore announced,"The Beauxbaton champion is... Fleur Delacour!" Again we all clapped as a girl who also looked to be about 18 stood and walked to the door and left.

Of course as soon as she left the fire turned red again and again Dumbledore announced,"The Hogwarts champion is... Cedric Diggory!" This time a boy about 17 stood up from the HUfflepuff table and walked to the store his classmates kept patting him on the back and congratulating him.

As soon as he left once again the flames turned read and shot out a paper. I had totally forgot we were participating and then Dumbledore said,"The Delphi Academy champion is... Leo Valdez!" PLOT TWIST! DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING DID YOU!?

I sat in shock and then Percy shook my shoulders and smiled at me,"Come on man go,he called you name!" I just stuttered and stood up and walked over to the door and walked inside still shocked.

When I walked in the others looked at me then went back to watching the fire in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence just uncomfortable

I was about to break the silence when I heard the door open again.I expected to see a teacher there but instead there was that boy named, um Hugo wait no Harry.

"You gonna tell us why you are hear or are you gonna stand there with that stunned face?" I asked. Then a bunch of adults burst through the door.

They were arguing about something I did not care and tuned them out and started fiddling with something I pulled out of my toolbelt/belt. That was until one of them said," , were you listening?" I looked up and saw that it was Dumbledore. I said,"Umm No not really." Then he said,"We were talking about how Harry will now be joining the tournament, also the first challenge is a secret. I will be soon, you better get ready. Now all of you-"he gestured to all of us,"-I am sure your friends want to celebrate. Goodnight."

We all left to go to wherever we were staying.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! PLOT TWIST SUPREME!
