SNT, Rookie and Rosechu were transported through a portal created by the flame back to settle in their sleeping bodies on the bed.
Rookie started to open his eyes first. His vision was blurry and could barely see anything. All he knew was that the sun was brighter than usual today which was weird because there was a giant storm outside. He felt a slight warm feeling around his chest. As he looked down he noticed SNT's arms around him making it obvious that she was behind him. He heard the sound of her moaning signaling that she was about to wake up.
Rookie's vision started to clear and he realized he was looking toward the window. But right in front of him was a body which was trying it's best to come into existence. It's body was covered in a white light but was dimming every moment that passed. Eventually, the white light dispersed all over the room revealing itself. It was revealed to be a girl with weird looking ears. It looked like it was Rosechu, but he wasn't entirely sure. She was pink but had 2 yellow cheeks and her hair was a little different.
Noticing that he was sleeping with two girls, he was a little slow coming to his senses as he realized the situation that he is stuck in. Rookie quickly shot up in bed and jumped off in front of the bed both shocked and confused. He didn't know what to do but felt embarrassed to the point where he just stared. He couldn't help himself but blush.
SNT started sitting up in bed noticing her arms were off of Rookie. She yawned, scratched her back and smacked her mouth. When she rubbed her eyes, she noticed her friend staring next to her.
"*Yawn* Good morning Rookie... what are you lo-," The hybrid looked next to her to see the knocked out Rosechu lying there next to where Rookie slept. SNT quickly thought back to the adventure they just came back from and realized who this mysterious figure possibly was.
"Is that... Rosechu?" SNT questioned. That was when she suddenly realised Rosechu's "clothes situation". "Oh my gosh!"
Rookie proceeded to run out the door and shut it behind himself. He slid down its side and waited in the hallway. He laid his head onto the door and looked up at the ceiling taking a few deep breaths for himself to calm down. What just happened? He asked himself.
SNT then slightly cracked open the door causing the wolf to jump in surprise. He turned around to look at his friend. "EEEK!"
"Rookie! Calm down!" SNT insisted.
"SNT, I'm sorry I didn't mean to look, I swear!" Rookie panicked.
"Rookie, it's ok, I'm not angry at you. It was an accident. You were knocked out for most of that fight and I don't blame you for acting this way." SNT forgave him
"Really, you understand?" Rookie asked.
SNT agreed, "I promise I won't tell her about this, just don't mention it again and I won't talk about it."
"Oh... ok, thank you so much... I owe you," Rookie responded.
"Oh... no need to pay me back," SNT insisted, "You have helped me a lot getting through last night, so this is my treat. It's fine. While you're out there, can you do me a favor and find Ashlyn? Tell her that we need an extra set of clothes."
Rookie responded putting his hand against his forehead like a soldier. "Yes ma'am, I'll get it done."
"Thank you," SNT responded. She sounded grateful from the other side of the door.
Rookie got up and started to walk in a random direction. He didn't care which way because Ashlyn could be anywhere. He didn't even know what she looked like. But at that moment, it didn't really matter. Rookie was trying his hardest to get that image of Rosechu out of his mind. A similar situation happened a long time ago too, but he didn't even want to think about it. The wolf said to himself, "I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything."
"You didn't see what?" said a child-like voice.
Rookie looked up to see a brown lion mobian carrying sheets. He screamed in a panic. "AAAH, oh gosh you scared me."
"Wait, how did you even get in here?" she asked.
"Huh?" Rookie looked quite curiously at the mobian.
"Princess Elise told me this morning that SNT brought over a guest, but I didn't know who it was. Are you the one she brought over for the night?"
"Yeah, I am," Rookie nodded in response. "You must be Ashlyn."
Ashlyn nodded. "Yep, that's me, the Princess' trusty servant." She then proceeded to walk around Rookie as he started following behind. The wolf was now going back the route he just came. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to set up your bedroom last night. I understand SNT didn't want to wake me. How thoughtful of her. I guess you got your own room last night because of her?"
"Um..." Rookie didn't know how to answer that without making it sound awkward, so he decided to lie. "Yeah I did."
"How did you sleep?" she asked.
"Oh, I slept... fine." Rookie was a little uncomfortable from sleeping next to someone he might be attracted to, especially if he had another heart attack last night.
Ashlyn was a little skeptical of the wolf, but she decided to not press further. "Oh well. I need to start preparing new bedsheets for Lady SNT, so I am going to her room to drop these off in front, and when she is done with the room, I'll go in there and freshen it up."
Rookie decided at that point to tell her what she needed to know. "Oh, by the way, SNT wanted to ask you if you had any extra pairs of clothing." At that point, they made it to the outside of SNT's room.
"Hmm... Oh yeah, no problem, I can go grab that if she really needs that." Ashlyn dropped the sheets next to the door then looked back at Rookie, "What happened to her old clothes?"
"Oh... um..." Rookie didn't know how to answer that question so he decided to make the answer vague. "She had some sort of an... accident last night?"
"Oh my gosh, you're kidding right? Did she do-" Ashlyn started to assume what happened when Rookie suddenly interrupted.
"No! No it's not like that, it's just-"
"I'm going to grab some cleaning equipment along with that new pair of clothing, I'll be right back!" Ashlyn proceeded to run down the hallway.
"Ashlyn, wait!" Rookie called out for her but she was long gone. He sighed and looked toward the door. "Oh boy."
"What's with all of the ruckus?" said an elegant voice who was coming in from the other side of the hallway. A beautiful bird stood before the red wolf looking very sharp and formal. "Is there something up with Miss SNT?" she asked.
"Well..." Rookie didn't know what to say. He just started shaking a little. "There is nothing wrong with her, there might be another problem entirely though."
"No wonder I have been feeling abnormal spirit energy coming from that room. I have kind of gotten used to it since SNT was here, but there has been more coming from that room as of last night." she mentioned.
"Yes, I understand." Rookie nodded.
The bird then knocked on the door. "Miss SNT? Are you awake?"
"Oh, Princess!" SNT instantly recognized the voice.
Oh, this is the Princess, Rookie told himself.
"I was just wondering if you were ok. I've noticed a lot of spiritual activity coming from that room and I just wanted to check."
"Oh really?" SNT asked "Well... um, I have already told Rookie to talk to Ashlyn about what I needed, but if he hasn't contacted her yet, I guess telling you is fine. All I need is a new pair of clothes."
"SNT, I have already found her." Rookie announced, "She is coming back with it."
"Miss SNT, didn't Ashlyn already leave you a pair last night?" Elise asked.
"SNT just needs an extra pair because of unforeseen circumstances." Rookie explained.
"Unforeseen?" Elise thought for a second. Because Rookie was being so vague, the princess interpreted differently than what the red wolf initially entailed. "SNT... did... did you have an... accident last night?" Rookie realized the question she just asked as code.
"Accident... I didn't break anything. I just need new clothes." she responded. It was clear to Rookie that SNT has never heard this term before.
"Oh... It's ok if you don't want to admit your accident, we all have those days," The princess responded. "If Ashlyn is getting what you need, then everything should be fine."
"I'm here!" Rookie and Elise looked towards the other side of the hallway to notice Ashlyn who had a new pair of clothes in hand, but it wasn't the only thing she had. She was wearing a medical mask over her mouth and nose along with a small suitcase with a rag and spray hanging off from it. "I also prepared a bath for Lady SNT to help her out."
"Um.. I don't think that's needed," Rookie admitted. He knew exactly what was going on inside the room but didn't want to say anything.
"What's going on out there?" SNT asked curiously.
"Out of the way guys!" Ashlyn forced her way through to knock on the door. "SNT, let me in, and I will give you the clothes and get rid of the biohazard!"
"What? She's not a biolizard!" SNT responded.
"She?" Elise and Ashlyn's eyes widened. Rookie facepalmed realizing that a secret was about to get out.
The hybrid continued, "Just pass me the clothes through the door and I'll come out when we are ready."
Ashlyn proceeded to get next to the door. "Alright, I'm right here. I'll pass you what you need!" It seemed that she was getting ready for something. Elise got behind her eagerly like she was planning to do the same.
SNT started to crack open the door and put her hands out to try and grab the clothes. That was suddenly interrupted by Ashlyn pushing open the door wide. SNT was banged in the head and fell on top of the bed. That was when the sight of another being on the bed captivated the two royal occupants in the palace.
"What... Who is that?" Elise asked.
Rookie turned around and refused to walk into the room out of respect.
Elise and Ashlyn proceed to shut the door while Rookie stood there outside. They also managed to lock the door behind him. The wolf quickly understood and sat by himself in the hall.
There was a little bit of bickering he heard going on in the room.
SNT said, "She has quite the ears. I've never seen anything like that. They're quite special for her."
"What is this... thing?" Elise asked.
Ashlyn then said, "It's nothing I have seen before. This must be the weirdest looking creature on the island."
There was a moment of silence coming from the room for some reason. Ashyln then spoke up again. "...what?"
Rookie looked down at himself and felt there was something in his nose. When he wiped it, he noticed the blood on his hand. "Darn, I must really have some bad allergies right now. He whipped off his nose with his arm. The blood blinded in with his red fur so he knew a lot of people wouldn't notice. Rookie sat up against the wall and thought about his predicament. "How... how did I end up like this? I know a lot of people would be looking at me like I am the luckiest person in the world, but I think it's hurting me knowing all of these girls."
"If I was a boy, I know I would be lucky as hell."
Rookie looked over to her side to see a familiar young yellow fox who had fake color hair braids on it.
"Saki, what are you doing here?" He asked.
"I came to see my sister... and to check if you were ok from Alicia's acupuncture therapy." She responded. "Trust me, last time I hugged Alicia, I almost died. A needle almost came into my heart. And trust me, nobody wants to see me dead... Except maybe Will but we don't talk about that."
"I understand." Rookie responded.
Saki then proceeded to sit next to her sister's friend. That was when she noticed the amount of noise going on in the room.
"What's going on in there?" she asked.
That statement alone put very dirty thoughts back in Rookie's head. He started to sweat a little bit. Saki took note, "What's wrong? It looks like your mother already scared you for life before I was able to do it."
That's actually not that far off, Rookie admitted in his head. He couldn't help himself but blush. Saki quickly noticed.
"Oh... looks like somebody is in love!"
"What... no no no no!" Rookie panicked waving his hands back and forth.
Saki put both of her hands on the bottom of her head ready to listen, "No shame in hiding it, a girl like me knows when a guy is hiding something. So tell me, who is the lover... is it me?"
"What? NO! It's not you at all."
"Darn it!" Saki pouted. "So close to replacing Will! Are you sure you don't want to replace that girl with me in your head?"
"You're too young for me, Saki!" Rookie pointed out.
"Hey, it doesn't hurt to ask... I was just wondering if you were interested." she answered.
"It's not you!" Rookie admitted.
"Is it Ni-chan?" she asked.
"Well..." Rookie knew that she was talking about SNT. "I'm conflicted on that to be honest."
Saki got a little closer to her sister's friend in curiosity, "I knew it, you do like her!"
"Yeah, I do. Even with her somewhat oblivious nature and curiosity, she always tried to do the right thing. She cares for me and her friends over her own and wants to see us all succeed. Who doesn't like a person like that?" Rookie asked. "But everytime I look at her, it's like that aura she has is attracting me like a magnet. Think of it like you're in high school and there is that one pretty girl in school that everyone likes and is perfect in every way."
"Oh, I played somebody like that," Saki remembered. "I played a girl in a show named Mary Sue and I was the most popular girl in the school. Too bad behind the scenes nobody really liked me."
"Really?" Rookie questioned.
"It's kind of weird now as I look back. SNT to me is kinda what I want to be now. I have no idea how she got that aura. It was just like when I left her on that planet a long time ago, she changed. She never had that aura when we were born. The fact that I don't have it should prove it." Saki then thought to herself. Imagine that, the idea of boys lining up just to get a piece of me! Oh yeah!
Rookie's eyes widened, "What, she never had that?"
Saki nodded. "It's like she drank thousands of gallons of bleach or something since I last saw her. I don't know."
"Why did you leave her on a planet?" Rookie asked.
Saki laughed, "Because I was a child and I am EVIL!"
From what Rookie learned yesterday was to not question Saki logic. He decided to move on and continue his thoughts on her sister. "It's just that, I am really starting to question, do I love her for her, or is it because of the aura she has?"
"Well... I-" Just when Saki was about to answer, the door behind them opened with Ashlyn peaking out. "Alright, you can come in Mr. Rookie... Oh hey Miss. Saki."
"Hoodely Doodey!" Saki stood up and bowed at the servant.
Both the fox and the wolf enter into the room to see a new sight. The newly formed Rosechu had a small white skirt and one of Elise's normal tops on. SNT was standing over her with Elise standing right behind her.
Ashlyn shut the door behind the two and approached SNT. "Alright, I expect an explanation for this."
"Yeah... there is a lot to explain so I better get to it." SNT continued to explain the events that transpired in Ultra Space. Also mentioning Rookie accompanying her in her story. "... And when I saved Rosechu and got Rookie, we were all just teleported back here. I believe this is the Rosechu I saved but something is wrong. She didn't look like this."
"This is interesting." Elise noted. "No wonder why I felt a ton of supernatural energy here last night. Maybe it was just you both taking out Rosechu from her world."
"I didn't even know she could take people in and out at will." Rookie added. "I thought those jobs she did were only for her to do."
"Well you were very helpful." SNT added. "I don't think I would have been able to do that whole place alone."
All of them were interrupted by the sounds of moaning coming from the bed. This caused them all to look to see Rosechu start to move a little.
"Oh, it seems like she is waking up!" Ashlyn pointed out.
All of them surround the bed eagerly.
The slight glimpse of her blue eyes started to appear. She blinked a few times as she was trying to unblur her vision. She took her left hand and rubbed her eyes with it. Then she wanted to see everyone around her. She blinked one more time to make sure she wasn't dreaming. "Where... where am I?"
SNT proceeded to hug one of her old friends. "Oh Rosechu, I'm happy you're safe."
"What..." Rosechu looked utterly perplexed. "What happened?"
"You were eaten by a beast and merged with it." Rookie explained.
Rosechu looked around at everyone then looked down at her body to notice her new pairs of clothing. Then she noticed the similar style she was wearing compared to Elise and SNT. Then she quickly noticed that her body felt a little different. She felt a lot more powerful than she used to be. The electric hedgehog pokemon started to position herself to get off of the bed. She felt a little dizzy but she felt half of the energy in her body was gone.
"Are you going to be ok?" Elise noticed her acting a little weird.
"Yeah... I just feel a little sick that's all. I probably should be fine once I get something to eat." Rosechu admitted.
"Oh that's no problem, Ashlyn?" the princess gestured.
"I'll be back." Ashlyn excused herself, shutting the door behind her.
SNT pushed Rosechu back onto the bed, "Please rest. I don't mind if you use my bed. Just get your strength back."
"Oh thank you!" Rosechu smiled and nodded as she relaxed on top of the pillow Rookie was sleeping on the night before.
Princess Elsie tried to get an idea on what she was looking at, "I'm sorry to be rude here but, what exactly are you? I have never seen a creature like you before."
"Oh..." Rosechu cleared her lungs. "My name is Rosechu, and I am a Rosechu."
"Yeah... you're a Rosechu... you said that twice." Saki pointed out. "Are you that unoriginal?"
"Well... it was the name... well to be honest I made up the name." She remembered. "But to continue what I was saying, SNT and I have been off and on friends for about 2 years... I think even though the people and pokemon around me have discouraged me from admitting this."
SNT clarified this further. "She and I have worked together in the past. She is really nice once you get to know her."
"I am really confused..." Rookie stated. "How could Rosechu now exist in this reality now if she doesn't have a physical body here just like SNT and I do?"
Elise took a closer look at SNT's body. She got uncomfortably close as she leaned her head forward toward the body. At the same time, she saw a pink aura start to emulate from her body. It also caused SNT to blush. "Um... princess... why are you looking at me like that?"
"Oh... um..." she looked up at the hybrid with a slight blush on her face. Once a second passed, the princess stood up straight to clear her throat. "SNT... how powerful are you?"
"Huh?" The hybrid seemed mystified by that question. "I... I don't know. I really don't know how to answer you. Sometimes I surprise myself with what I can do."
Saki got next to Elise and looked at her sister, "I'm sorry Ni-chan, I need to know this answer but... what happened to you after I left you on that planet? You didn't use to have all this power when I left you."
SNT looked confused. "I'm sorry Saki, I'm afraid that my own origins are all jumbled up and confused that I don't even know what's going on or what I truly am anymore."
"Well whatever that origin maybe, that power Miss. SNT has probably been enough to bring Miss. Rosechu into this world." Elise looked back at her friend.
Rosechu looked at everyone in the room and again at her body. "For some reason, I feel... different?"
"It's probably because you look completely different!" SNT revealed.
"Wait... what do you mean?" the pokemon asked.
Elise passed SNT a mirror. The hybrid proceeded to point the object at her friend just for her to absorb her new look. Her ears were brown with a small strip of them being curled around a little. She also noticed that she had 2 yellow dots representing cheeks kinda like a Raichu. She noticed that her tail had a part of it cut off turning her into a female once and for all.
"Looks like I became more of a Raichu then what I used to be." she pointed out. "Hey, for once, I don't look like Amy."
"It's a miracle!" SNT rejoiced. "You are not Amy. You are you Rosechu! This form change will completely change your life now that you can officially separate yourself from what you used to be."
Rosechu looked at herself and nodded. "Yeah... I guess you're right! I guess this marks a new era in my life. I come from a background in which I filled a role within someone's life and I didn't make any impacts. This moment marks my change. This time, I feel like I can be the Raichu I once was for Kel. I am so happy right now I want to try out if I can do this!"
Rosechu closed her eyes and started to focus her energy. Sparks started to fly off of her body. Her cheeks lit up like a light bulb. Rosechu opened her eyes to see her own power being used. "Oh my gosh! I'm doing it!"
Everyone looked at the Pokemon amazed by the sight. Elise was looking at this thinking to herself. Another one with Powers, perhaps they should teach Cas how to use magic for once.
Rosechu jumped in place on the bed seeming excited about the prospect that she could use her old powers at will. She forgot to discharge though, which had a negative effect.
Rosechu used Thunderbolt
A bolt of electricity was released from her cheeks and shot ahead of her hitting an unfortunate soul who was standing in its way.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Rookie fell to the ground. His rubber shoes prevented electricity from making it to the ground only for his hands and body to eventually let it escape.
"ROOKIE!" SNT ran to his aid, "Oh my gosh are you ok?"
"Oh, sorry!" Rosechu acknowledged her mistake. "Looks like I still need to get used to these powers. It's been so long since I used them."
Rookie could still feel the electricity trickling in his body. But he took a deep breath and slowly got up. "It's fine... I'm used to this."
"I'm back!" Ashlyn comes into the room with a plate of food and a small table. "Sorry for the wait madam."
"It's fine. You're doing a great job and you didn't take all that long." Elise pointed out.
Ashlyn proceeded to place the small table onto the bed with all of the silverware already in place. "There you go! Fresh, fluffy pancakes made from the finest ingredients."
"Man... looking at that food is making me hungry." SNT admitted as she looked down at her stomach.
"Well what are we waiting for?" Saki invited. "I'm so hungry, I could eat the 4th wall!"
"4th wall?" Rookie questioned that statement. "Which wall is here is the 4th wall."
"You'll never know, it's everywhere." Saki pointed out. "Let's go eat!"
Ashlyn bowed. "Food is already prepared please, come to the dining hall!"
Everybody lined up at the door as SNT looked back at Rosechu. "If you're feeling ok, you know you could come with us."
"I want to have some time to myself to get used to this body. I may join all of y'all later." the pokemon admitted.
SNT nodded and ran out the door. Rosechu started to feel around herself to see if more of her body had changed. This included touching her hair and back. "No, it's mostly almost the same."
She proceeded to look down at the food that had been prepared for her. She started to cut it up. She was extremely excited to see actual food on the table instead of canned goods. It was also really nice that she hasn't had to prepare this for her or anyone else this time.
She took a bite of the food noticing its rich flavor. "Mmm, this is so good!" That was when she noticed the bottle of syrup that was sitting next to the pancakes. "Hmm. I wonder what the syrup is like." She pours it onto her food and tastes it again. "Wow, that buttery taste just skyrockets. Makes the pancakes stand out more in flavor."
Rosechu was reminded of her travels with Kel. Being able to travel the world with her exposed her to a lot of different cuisine from every culture. She missed those days before getting married.
Rosechu continued to chomp away at her food until she heard her own voice. "Enjoying the food?"
At that moment, it felt that time stood still. Rosechu looked beside her to see an older version of herself. That same familiar Amy look gave her away. She was laying there where SNT was sleeping looking at her like she was a spy.
Rosechu dropped her fork on the bed leaving a sticky mess in its place. She was shocked to see this side of herself again. Last time they looked at each other was when she was trapped within her own memories.
"What... What are you doing here? Who are you?" Rosechu asked.
"You already know the answer to the second question faker. But to answer your first, I'm just here to announce... I haven't gone away. I'm still here in case you haven't noticed."
"But... but how?"
"It seems that you found a way to get into SNT's world have you?" she asked. "This is perfect. You may seem all goody-goody right now. But in time, I will once again be stealing you away in your memories. And when that happens, not only will you collect the rest of the S-chu Balls, SNT will die."
Rosechu shook her head. "No... I can't kill her, she is my friend! I will be my own person. I have to! I am free and you will not be controlling me. Not Sonichu, not Chris, and especially not you!"
"We'll see about that." The faker responds as she then turns into a pink mist and goes into Rosechu's body. At that moment the pokemon felt another electric shock in her chest. It reminded her of how Sonichu put something in her to revert to this other personality.
"Oh no!" Rosechu realized. "That shock must still be there!" What am I going to do if I revert back?
This was something she has never dealt with before. How could you fight something that is inside of you mentally? It's not like she could talk to anyone about this. It wasn't a matter of if, it was a matter of when. Rosechu knew that the clock was ticking.
At that point, Rosechu lost her appetite and got out of bed to look out the window. She quickly noticed a beautiful place that surrounded her bedroom with all of the villagers in its wake. She put her arm on the window seal and leaned her head against it. She tried to go through all of the alternatives in her head but came up with blanks. "What... what can I do? What can I do to beat this? I promise, I will find a way out of this... but I only have so much time left. I will find a way to get rid of you once and for all, even if it ends up killing me. SNT is my friend and I will not let her get killed by you or me. I just need to figure out what. But... what can I do to save her?"
