R1- The Spark of Rebellion
R0: The New Age
On the Island of Japan in 1931 (1941 a.t.b), A twenty-year-old soldier was nervous about fighting against the Americans. Still, his cousin encouraged him to fight for the people of Japan and his family. The young soldier would prepare for the First Pacific War event at the Army base before being stationed in Okinawa. He trained in a mock battle alongside his commanding officer named, Captain Hanzo Miyamoto. After being ambushed, Kento accidentally fell into a trap during their training and got his unit shot down using a non-lethal weapon. 'Heishi, Anata wa Anata no yunitto o futatabi koro shimashita' ("Soldier, you got your unit killed again.") Said Miyamoto. Gomen'nasai, senchō.' ("I'm sorry, Captain.) the soldier apologized as he was hanging upside down. So he cut him down "gently" before he was dropped on purpose. Though Captain Miyamoto is very strict, he shows kindheartedness, and Kururugi is reminded of how youthful when he was his age. Suddenly, they were interrupted when they were bombarded by an unknown object and crashed into the training ground. All the soldiers were either dead or injured, but most were alright. Captain Miyamoto demanded his remaining troop explain what happened until they rose from the crater and witnessed the arrival of B127. After B127 noticed his first organic for the first time, he escaped due to Miyamoto's reinforcement and Kururugi at the same, So he ordered his troop to fan out and track it down, determined to find out who or what it was.
Trying to flee from hostile humans, he quickly scanned an alt-mode and transformed into a jeep to make his escape through the woods, which surprised Miyamoto and his troops. Even though the military attempts to capture him with harpoons and machine guns, B127 evades them and emerges into a clearing leading to an empty mineshaft. Miyamoto orders to cut it off from escaping into the mine, which one of his soldiers executed by blindsiding B127 with his jeep.
'Dō ka, kore wa machigai desu.' ("Please, this is a mistake.") Said B127, who speaks Japanese to the humans, assuring that he came with peaceful intentions and didn't want to hurt anyone. After B127 pleaded for his life, Hanzo ordered his troop to stand down and quickly complied.
Suddenly, one of Miyamoto's scouts has an aircraft called Mitsubishi Ki-15, only to realize that it's one of theirs from the Shimbun-Tai. Hanzo is baffled that the Imperial Japanese would send air support. Still, the B127 corrects him—the aircraft is a Decepticon Seeker named Hotlink, who bombarded the areas with advanced missiles, killing the Japanese soldier, and swoops to attack the yellow Autobot! "Did you think you could hide?" As Hotlink beat him down, B127 dodged in, evading the impact. "Oh, I can wait to hear you die screaming like your friend. "He replied before getting his tailpipe as B-127 faced off against the aggressive Decepticon seeker. He manages to gain the upper hand by knocking his thrusters which spiral out of control and crash right toward the mountain before damaging his flight system. but Hotlink would be managed to subdue B127 before falling off and dangled over a cliff. "Tell me, where are your friends hiding?" Hotlink asked.
"I'll never talk. I rather die, and you'll have to kill me." B-127 replied as he refused to give up the information. "(Laughing) oh, is that right, huh?" Hotlink replied as he pulled out his stringer. "Then let's make it official." Hotlink replied before ripping out his voice synthesizer. He is badly injured, thrown off the cliff, and falls to the ground as Hotlink descends from the mountain. "B127. As the last member of the Autobot resistance, you have been found guilty of the murder of Megatron. Fewer more, you are a traitor to Cybertron and are, as a result of this, sentenced... to death. "
Before he could strike the final blow, B127 managed to use his blade to blind his right eye and slice his arm off. Since Hotlink is too painfully distracted, he grabs his guided missile and throws it into his chest. Unable to get it off, B-127 quickly used his blaster and blasted him. Upon the smoke, B-127 emerged victoriously but badly wounded due to having multiple damages. After defeating the Decepticon Seeker, yet having survived his encounter. After witnessing the death of these human troops, including Miyamoto, he limps away through ashes and smoke as he knows that war will come to them, and there is no stopping what is to come. From the rumble, Kento survived, but his leg was pinned to the destroyed jeep while unconscious. The Autobot crawls to a riverbank before collapsing from his injuries, with his memory cells critically damaged. His systems scan a nearby Volkswagen Beetle before he finally fades away to unconsciousness...
The following day, Kento woke up in a hospital bed where he saw a nurse switch his fluid bag after losing a lot of blood. He asked what happened, and she replied that he's been in a coma for a month. He was surprised, but worse was that Miyamoto's troops had died in the American bombing. Kento doesn't believe it to be accurate, but he remains silent as he doesn't want to think he's crazy after witnessing a giant yellow mechanical being. But the worst part is that he learns that the Americans have created the ultimate weapon, a nuclear bomb designed by Albert Einstein himself. In the worst-case scenario, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed on that day. Fearing that the Japanese would go extinct, they surrendered themselves to the Allies, and Hitler was found dead after he killed himself by committing suicide. He asked what years is it and replied that it was May 7th, 1946, AD/1977 a.t.b./RY157.
After being released from the hospital free of charge, Kento overhears the radio. It has been reported that Hirohito, the Japanese Emperor, had admitted that his action was wrong and chose his uncle Prince Higashikuni as prime minister to assist the American occupation. Following the surrender, the Allied had occupied Japan while overseen by The American general Douglas MacArthur, who was appointed Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers by 33rd President Harry Truman; MacArthur was succeeded as Supreme Commander by General Matthew Ridgway in 1951. Unlike in the occupation of Germany, the Soviet Union had little to no influence over the field of Japan, declining to participate because it did not want to place Soviet troops under MacArthur's direct command.
At MacArthur's insistence, Emperor Hirohito remained on the imperial throne. The wartime cabinet was replaced with a cabinet acceptable to the Allies and committed to implementing the terms of the Potsdam Declaration, which among other things, called for the country to become a parliamentary democracy. Under MacArthur's guidance, the Japanese government introduced sweeping social reforms and implemented economic reforms that recalled American "New Deal" priorities of the 1930s under President Roosevelt. They destroyed the Japanese Militarization, and the memory of Japan that he once knew was gone after the emperor was reduced to a figurehead. At some point, Kento left Japan and lived on a faraway island where he'd live out for the rest of his life in exile, believing that Japan was a mighty ship destined to sink, as he couldn't declare what he thought anymore. Feel that if people make families, families make cities, cities make countries, and a country where no one can express what they love out loud is a country without a future.
A year after World War II, the newly formed United Nations had sent its forces to recover the Sakuradite. After retrieving the Sakuradite, Stalin realized that the world could never have peace as long as there was more than one Sakuradite.
They've learned that if they could utilize the Sakuradite to benefit humanity by making various types of Sakuradite-based artillery and power nearly all machinery for Military purposes. But the U.S. refused as it would shatter the peace they've forged for so long that it's too valuable to be broken. So the Americans stood against the Soviets and became a post-war disagreement for the sake of the Sakuradite.
This post-world war would remember as the Cold War, including the Vietnam War and Korean War. During the Cold War, the two nations became the world's first superpowers between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. In contrast, China adopted the idea of communism and formed an alliance with India, Thailand, Taiwan, Mongolia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Cambodia as the Chinese Federation under the rules of Mao Zedong, who declared himself the first Communist Emperor and appointed his advisors as High Eunuch. Meanwhile, The Holy Britannian Empire returned from the dreaded emblem of blood era at the hands of Prime Minister Honest; they united all the kingdoms for which Manite had ruled and founded the Imperial Order of the Founding Nation or the Founding Nation for short. This allowed them to help Britannia gain the power to rival America and Europia United and Britain for betraying Eliza for the crime she didn't commit.
In the 1960s, The 35th U.S. President John F. Kennedy initiated a plan to land on the moon because NASA detected a faded signal of unknown origin coming from the moon itself. He selected three candidates for a top-secret mission to investigate the anonymous call from Earth's moon. This was deemed necessary enough to send a staffed crew to the moon, with the excuse of beating the Soviets as a cover story for the true objective of uncovering the mysterious signal. In 1969, Apollo 11 was launched and successfully landed on the moon. Neil Armstrong, Michael Colin, and Buzz Aldrin used several minutes of radio silence to investigate the signal and discovered an ancient technology on the moon which means the call was that it once belonged to an unknown advanced civilization. After finding an old technology by Apollo 11 on the Moon, The U.S. learns that this technology is actually a gateway. They called it the Hyper Gate, a gateway that allows them to send humanity to another planet without traveling through a spacecraft. The first Human to set foot on another planet would be Mars and discover the ancient ruin. With the discovery of the Hyper Gate, Humanity had finally realized that they were not alone in this universe.
More interesting was that Mars and Venus had a ton of raw Sakuradite that's ripe for the taking. This ignited the flames of humanity's Golden Age. A period of relative peace and prosperity ripe with technological innovation began, allowing humankind to triple its lifespan, colonize and terraform the planet, and expand its civilization beyond Earth and throughout much of the solar system. Mars and Venus became homes to great cities, and mercury became a garden world. The asteroid belt was discovered to be an untapped treasure trove of wealth, and an asteroid mining boom began.
In 1972, 37th U.S. President Richard Nixon gathered the world leaders except Britannia to discuss the future that humanity could accomplish. So they agreed to the ideas and formed a Unified System governing the entire Solar System. This led them to become Earth's national government through administrative power. While the world continued its golden age, the Founding Nations began to create their first military power using the remnant of the Nazis, Allowing the Founding Nations to create a powerful organization that came to be known as Gjallarhorn.
1980-1998 (AD)/1999 a.t.b./RY 209
The Second Renaissances
Near the end of the 20th Century, A wise scientist began to discover another source that would benefit humanity and take place on the moon of Jupiter. So he sent his old friend and college roommate named, George Glenn from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) on the mission to collect data from Jupiter's moon, Io. Glenn would embark on a Seven-Year Exploration Mission for the Rayvers and the support of FASA (Federal Aeronautics and Space Administration) on a prototype spacecraft he designed that could withstand the debris from the asteroid belt, which he named the ship (the Tsiolkovsky). Before Glenn can embark on his journey, he reveals a shocking truth to the people of Earth. He told the world that his whole life, believing that humans have the ability to adapt in space or on other planets, and announced that he had found a way to reach the entire evolution beyond human capabilities. Therefore, becoming the first modified human and dubbed himself the Coordinator.
Fourteen years later, Glenn brought back from his exploration, namely Evidence 01, also called the "Winged Whale." It was an extraterrestrial fossil found orbiting Io that proved the existence of alien life. This discovery would prompt the temporary weakening of the influence of religious extremists on the world. Thus dividing into three factions: the Manite, Coordinator, and the Natural (Normal Human).
A Natural, angry that he was not born a Coordinator, decided to kill Glenn in an Instant.
After killing Glenn, The Scientist could never recover from the pain of losing his best student until he heard a whisper. Upon his eyes, he discovered an ancient tech from the ruins on Mars, which awakened its power called the Aldnoah.
It recognized him as the rightful heir and burned the Aldnoah activation factor into his genes. This led to the creation of the Vers Empire, which claimed that the Emperor, Rayregalia Vers Rayvers, inherited the authority of Aldnoah. The people of VERS state that they have become a new race distinct from Old Humanity.
Eventually, the first emperor stepped down, allowing his son Gilzeria to ascend to the throne. To combat rising social tension caused by a lack of resources, Gilzeria directed anger towards Earth, saying its people were greedy and unwilling to share. This eventually led to Operation Earthfall, intended for Vers to conquer the planet. In the battle, The VERS discovered another gate before the blast destroyed most of the Asteroids, and The members put on ver's plans of conquest hold. Gilzeria was killed in action on the Asteroid belt, and his father would be forced to step back up and resume control of Vers. The aftermath of this event, known as Heaven's Fall, caused many inconveniences to Martians and Natural; as Both factions destroyed the Hyper Gate, travel beyond space was impossible.
But not for the coordinators. As they were the only ones who could help them rebuild their broken lives and bring peace to the people of Mars and Earth. These historical phenomena would be remembered as the First Earth-Mars war.
As a result, the group Blue Cosmos made their presence known, assassinating many Coordinators, including The Martian, and allowing them to gain positions of power within the Earth's government. All under the premise: "For preserving our blue and pure world!" (making genocide their goal). Seeing the escalating tension between them and the Naturals, Coordinators decided to make their home within the space colonies known as PLANTs. But, despite most Coordinators living in PLANTs or within neutral areas such as the Orb Union, it wasn't enough for Blue Cosmos - they believed the Coordinators and Martian had to be eradicated, no matter where they lived.
1999 (AD)/2000 a.t.b/RY 210
The Dark Chapter
From the end of the 20th century to the early 21st century, humankind united in celebration of artificial intelligence's creation, spawning an entire race of sapient A.I. robots called the Omnic. Freed from most labor, humanity entered new leisure, peace, and prosperity era. This new lifestyle caused humans to become lazy, arrogant, corrupt, and decadent. As Machines grew more intelligent, they could not help but notice that their masters gave them no respect and treated them more like objects than the sentient beings they were rapidly becoming. However, Omnics went rogue and churned out legions of militarized robots that attacked human cities in the Omnic Crisis event. The United Nations - falling to paranoia and totalitarianism - initiated a massive program to exterminate all humanoid sapient machines to prevent the rebellion from occurring. Countless robots were destroyed by the government and human-centrist vigilantes worldwide, with their bodies disposed of in gargantuan landfills on land or the ocean floor. The robots that managed to survive or escape this purge abandoned their efforts to assimilate with humanity and made efforts to exist in exile from human civilization.
Finally, uniting as an independent nation and using their own collective intelligence, the Machines began building factories to fabricate goods and services to be sold to human countries. Zero One prospered from their revenue and their own continuing technological advancements, allowing the Machines to produce increasingly more advanced technology, including creating new and better A.I. (following the concept of the Technological Singularity). The surviving Omnics left humanity's mega-structure in a mass exodus and formed their own society in the deserts of the historical origin of human civilization: Mesopotamia. They called their new nation "01", also known as the Cyberpolis, the new home for Omnic refugees.
Finally, uniting as an independent nation and using their own collective intelligence, the Machines began building factories to fabricate goods and services to be sold to human countries. Zero One prospered from their revenue and their own continuing technological advancements, allowing the Machines to produce increasingly more advanced technology, including creating new and better A.I. (following the concept of the Technological Singularity). With the impending collapse of human economic power, the United Nations Security Council called an emergency summit at the U.N. headquarters in New York City. Instead of cooperating with the Machines, the U.N. delegates approved global economic sanctions against Zero One before enacting a complete naval blockade to ensure that the nation was kept closed to all imports and exports. In response to the financial crisis and their part in it, Zero One petitioned to join the United Nations and expressed their desire to become contributing members of the international community and peacefully resolve the crisis afflicting humanity.
The Leaders then sent two Omnics ambassadors to plead with the U.N. and provide plans for a stable, civil relationship. But the U.N. delegates present at the time refused to listen and cooperate. But the Coordinator said otherwise since the Coordinator had experienced discrimination and ridicule upon the natural. From the bottom of their hearts, the Coordinator's words have pressured the U.N. to provide a civil relationship and prevent them from starting a war as they did in World War I-II. After They averted the Omnic Crisis, the U.N. had decided to give the Coordinator their new home within the space colonies known as PLANTs. Though they build a better future, they cannot escape the past. So they formed a political organization known as the Zodiac Alliance that sought to fight for the rights and independence of Coordinators peacefully but was suppressed by the nations controlling PLANT at the time. As it continued to gain support and activity, key members integrated themselves into the PLANT Supreme Council. As a result, the organization would later be formally renamed and restructured into the Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty - the official PLANT-funded organized militia of civilian Coordinator volunteers - to protect the PLANT-sponsored nation. However, aggravation and hatred swelled among the Coordinators over the years due to their biased persecution on Earth. This leads some to a warped idea that Coordinators are superior to Naturals - that they are the evolution of humankind and should replace Naturals (thus ironically mirroring the genes that drove them to the PLANTs).
It wouldn't be until 2005 (2006 a.t.b.) that hostilities between Naturals (fueled by members of Blue Cosmos) and Coordinators (driven by members of ZAFT) reached the breaking point.
On February 5th, a joint peace conference being held at the Mars city of Chryse was struck by a terrorist attack, wiping out the entire United Nations and the Martian Congressional Republican leadership. The only survivor of the episode was ZAFT Supreme Chairman Siegel Clyne, which led the Earth Government to believe ZAFT had orchestrated the attack. In response, the Earth Alliance issued a declaration of war on the PLANT; on February days later, on February 14th, 2005, Blue Cosmos leader Murata Azrael ordered the Earth Military to launch a nuclear attack against the PLANTs. The Agamemnon-class carrier Roosevelt deployed a nuclear warhead that struck Junius 7, a PLANT-type space colony in the PLANT's Junius City area, destroying the colony and killing countless innocent civilians. The incident was soon infamously called the Bloody Valentine Incident, marking the opening of hostilities between the United Nations and ZAFT.
Four Year Later
On August 10th, 2009 (2010 a.t.b), the Holy Britannian Empire had suddenly invaded the eastern nation of Japan, and the Second Pacific War erupted. Britannia quickly overwhelmed Japan's comparatively outdated defenses with their new humanoid autonomous armored knights known as the Knightmare Frames. As airships and jet fighters flew out through the air, they began to draw out their firepower and destroyed countless cities in Japan. Before the invasion, Genbu Kururugi (Grandson of Kento and The last Prime Minister) encouraged the Japanese to unite as a single front and defeat the encroaching Britannian presence and protect their homeland. He admitted he was willing to fight to the last man if necessary as Genbu believed that this would dishonor the Japanese, which led to the demilitarization, which forced them into becoming a pacifist nation was unacceptable regardless of the price.
The entire world has learned what was going on and decided to act and save them, but it was too late. Japan is conquered in one month by Britannia. Only for the United States to intervene in destroying the Britannian soldiers once again since the War of 1812. Two rival nations were locked in an endless battle to liberate the Japanese, resulting in a massive death toll of thousands of civilians and wounded soldiers from the southern province of Japan.
This led to the worst part for the two rivals as they forced them to make peace with each other and work together to rebuild the damage, only for the rival nation to split Japan in half and swear never to resume their rivalry. Hopefully, the Britannian will keep their words shut, or Americans will bring down the hammer on the Britannia for breaking the peace. While the American and the allies kept the Japanese from the north, the Britannians began to quickly build colonies and mining operations in the south, recruiting former Japanese as "Honorary Britannians." At the same time, those who refused to join Britannia lived in poverty in the ghettos or were sent back to Japan's north side and renamed the island "Area 11" and its people "Elevens.".
Eight Years Later
Somewhere in the middle of the pacific ocean, a blonde girl sang as she flew through the air in her mobile fighter dubbed the para-mail, while the others were piloting their own machines from a para-mail to an old jet fighter called Macross. Until a portal known as the breach opens, unleashing thousands of winged creatures, namely DRAGON and a Colossal Brute named Kaiju. As the Kaiju and the DRAGON charge the attacker, the first squad commanded by the unit leader orders his squadron to engage the enemy forces and begin the frontal attack. There were too many during an epic battle until the Blonde girl charged in and struck against the Colossal Kaiju. Furthermore, each girl and boy has turned their precious machine into a mechanized robot while combating the DRAGON and the Kaiju. However, the odds of defeating the DRAGON and a Kaiju are Thirty to one.
So the unit leader ordered them to retreat, but the blonde girl wouldn't comply with his order and chose to go head-on. "Here we go, Villkiss." Said the blonde girl. She charged in as she transformed her para-mail into the most powerful machine called Villkiss, who slashed her way through countless smaller-sized DRAGON until she reached the Kaiju designated as Tiamat. "My name is Ange." She spoke in her thought as if that's her name. She stabbed Tiamat into the chest and froze it with a close-range Freeze Bullet launcher in its left hand, which stunned the creature before she opened her cockpit with an assault rifle in her hand. "And I will live." She said. Tiamat screamed in agony as Ange was ready to finish the final blow. "Even if I have to kill!." She thought before firing at Tiamat, and this is where our story can genuinely begin.
