After Clovis's speech, his subject congratulated him for his motivational charm and such an ineffective ruler. As he walked back to his offices, he meets Aurora, Julio, and Konomi who, just returned from Angelise's Laira game. "Aura, Konnie! Perfect timing." Clovis was surprised to see them again and, yet. He was worried that they might get caught in a crossfire.
"Alright, Clovis. Just what's so important that you brought us all away back here?" Konomi questioned
"Walk with me," Clovis replied as he takes them to his rooftop garden which, they constructed after Area 11, were created.
"Beautiful garden" Aura complements Clovis from his hard work and, Clovis thanks her.
"So What is it? She asked her half-brother. As Clovis explained everything why he brought them here for a reason.
"As you all know, I was informed that Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi is a Norma"
"What!" Aurora and Konomi were shocked to believe that Angelise is a Norma and they never realized this whole time.
"Brother, I-I don't understand." Konomi confused. "Why would Angelise not told us that she's a Norma? and How did you know about this?"
"I have my sources." he answered "Julio and I are the only ones who know about this grave deception and don't worry, everything is under control.
"But brother. said Aurora "You know Angelise is one of the nicest girls we ever met. Surely you can't possibly..."
"Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi is a Norma and a threat to the entire human race including the society to all of Manites." Said Clovis with a stern hatred against Norma, though he disagrees with believing that Angelise is a Norma but it's for the good of the people. "And I don't care what she is or what the hell she is. She needs to be dealt with, by any means necessary!"
"Which is it?" Konomi asked "The people or you?" However, Clovis never responds to her question but she knows that his arrogance would lead him down to the darker path and he won't live to seize his moment.
Present Day
At the Construction Site.
After both vehicles crash into each other, All of the citizens would be gathered at the wreckage to witness the crash site, as they are more interested in placing the blame on someone and gawking over the incident rather than helping someone. As for the Officer, they are ordered to fall back and let the military handle this situation, under the command of General Bartley and Viceroy Clovis.
"Ah shit, those imbeciles cut the power line to my bike." Rivalz was pissed. "Now thanks to that jackass, we're gonna be late for sure." While Rivalz tried to fix his bike, Lelouch stared down at the wreckage as he disgusted by all these imbeciles watching them helplessly as if no one helping them. So he prompting decided to help them out and assess the situation. As Lelouch climbs up to the truck to check and see if anyone's alright.
"Hey, Are you alright?" Lelouch inspects the crash for any signs of survivors, he hears a voice, a woman voice which came from over there in front of the truck, he went over there to see if someone needed his help. As he helps out, Hauro and Kallen regain consciousness while Nagata was knocked unconscious but barely alive. "Unbelievable! Man, I wish that guy would quit flaunting his pride and just give it a rest for a while." Rival worried as Lelouch always tried to help others with selfless chivalry."Hello, is anybody there?" While he continues searching. He hears a strange voice, a woman's voice.
It's you, finally I have found my... After he heard that voice, its stopped. Hey, is someone there? Just then. he heard another voice, which is coming from over at the front, he checked over and see what's over there. "Hey, you're okay?" he reach out his hand until someone grab its hand and pull him or her up. "Yeah, thanks you so much for helping me..." After helping a person out, Lelouch find out that a person he's saved was his childhood friend, Ange.
"What the... Ange?" Said Lelouch. "Lelouch?" Angelise replied.
As they were shocked and confused to see each other at the wrong place and the wrong time, Hauro takes the helms and jump-started the engined. Thus having Angelise and Lelouch got thrown into the back of the truck, which he accidentally landed on her bosom and both of them were blush by this whole embarrassment after he get off of her. However, the Truck began to move, making a clean getaway from the Britannian forces.
Whoa, was that a hit and run? Rivalz noticed. However, he also noticed that Lelouch is missing and thought he abandoned him for no good reason what's so ever.
Unbeknownst to what is happening, a blue figure named Hotshot who witness all these commotion, managed to get it in touch with Windblade who've tracked someone or something that no knows about. "Hotshot to Windblade, I spotted an Armored truck and I bet that's might be the one."
"(*static*) If they have B127, then we have to free him and fast. Transform and follow them." She responded. "Understood" As he hung up, he transform into an Chrysler ME Four-Twelve with custom flames and racing stripes and follow the persuaders while blended in with the traffics.
Meanwhile.
As Bartley make his way to Clovis and informs him with progress, he was intruded by an optimised, yet slimer young man with a self-proclaimed genius among all else, Lloyd Asplund.
"Lloyd, W-What are you doing here?"
"Why I'm just wanted to see how much did you and Clovis have messed up everything in one hours before reacting the situation. Regardless upon your action, I suppose."
"Why you-..."
"Now, Now. let not be too hasty, I mean it's just one Norma. I mean you really screwed this one up. You managed to capture a full grown Norma until the Terrorists came along and ruin everything after they stole whatever it was that you and the prince were been secretly working on. Retrieving it is simple, but you want to sweep up all of their compatriots in addition. So let the terrorists go and you will find the terrorist's hideout as well. Congratulations! Your reasoning was spot on! right Mariel?" Said Lloyd.
"I must agree with him, this is very unorthodox to this dire situation." Mariel worry but Cecile assured that the situation is under control. However, Bartley interrupted their conversation, demanding them why are they here. "Oh we're merely search and retrieve, nothing more, I figure you must needed some assist to back you up, no doubt about it."
"Assist, what do you mean (Assist)?" Bartey asked.
"To help you out, in exchange for data purposes only." Lloyd answered. "Excuse me. Just what what in the world did they just steal, anyway?" Ceciled asked.
Bartley told them that it was a Chemical Bio-weapon and was plan to use it against the American as an airborne which it's untraceable, in other words. It is a Poison gas. In the wrong hand, It could kill everyone and entire settlement would be quarantine which mean the UN will noticed and they'll find out who's to blame. It would start another war, just like they did after the Invasion of Japan where the UN send over ten thousand of Mobile Suit and none of the knightmare frame could stand a chance against the United Nations growing army and firepower.
Back on a Freeway.
As They made it back on the Freeway, Nagata and Hauro notices that they're being followed by a group of Ten VTOL Gunship, Seven TK-53 Britainnan Mobile workers, and Fifteen Knightmare VTOL. As they both know there are about to be screwed but Kallen assures them that everything's alright as this is the reason why she came along.
You'd think they'd stick a ladder on the inside, too. Angelise complain while Lelouch finds a way to get themselves out of here. However he suggest that they should jump while increasing speed. Suddenly, they heard someone's coming, so they quickly hide behind the capsule but Lelouch decide to have look and told Angelise to wait here, only to witness Kallen who only recognize her hair color and a familiar face.
"Hey! Let's use it here! It's the only way." Nagata suggest. "We can't! it's too risky!" Hauro replied and rejected. "What, why?" he questioned.
Kallen answers. "Because, there would be a bloodbath if we unleashed to the world!"
"She's right, we can't risk it!" Hauro agreed with Kallen as this would kill everyone in a mile radius and they don't want to let it happen."
"(sigh) Alright, but should we get captured or worse, then we released it." As the Britannian troop are slowly gaining on them, Kallen managed wipe out Three VTOL Gunship and Four TK-53 Mobile workers with a Slash Harken.
All of the soldier were confused, not knowing what happen or how did they managed to destroying seven of them with one strike, only to realizing that they're facing an old Custom Knightmare frame Glasgow made from the remained of an old Mobile Suit Zabi from the Invasion of Japan, seven years ago.
"Here we go. Kallen Kozuki (Guren Type-01), Heading out!" With Kallen piloting the old Gundam to combat against the Britannian force as it proved that a mobile suit are still powerful to crush all Knightmare frame which is the reason why Britannian had suffer their losses from a long ago.
"You fellas know full of yourself, watch how this badass mother can do!"
However, Jeremiah appears in his personal knightmare frame, Fifth-Generation: Sutherland and easily managed to challenged Kallen and her Mobile Suit.
"The rest of you, back off. I'll take this Elevens. I can only assume you dug that obsolete relic out of some scrap heap. An over the hill Mobile suit mixed with Glasgow are no match for the might of the Sutherland! especially, a filthy Eleven who spurns the compassion of our glorious Emperor!"
As Jeremiah and Kallen battling out as two of the best pilot engaged like a true warrior between the Samurai and the Knight which they're both equally matched
Nagata and Hauro told Kallen that they must split up as they'll both be killed if they stay and fight. Villetta and Morvis Dread, the Wolfbane of Britannia appears and they almost apprehend the terrorist.
However, they didn't compiled but rather fight which unfortunately, led them to their demise. "You Simple-Minded Elevens." Said Villeta.
"Easy there, Lady Villeta." Morvis stop her. "They aren't worth to kill, so allowed me to disposed of them with permission."
So he open fire on them, it wounded both Hauro and Nagata, Injuring them instantly while Kallen ejects her Guren's arm in order to escape from Jeremiah and his purist faction.
Somewhere underneath City near UN Territory.
Badly Injured, They make their way through the tunnel network which should lead them right toward the UN Terrority, even the Britannian soldier aren't permitted to enter without authorization from the U.S. Security. Not to mention it is illegal because only citizen may enter, not soldiers.
"Hey, let us out of here." As Angelise tried and tried so hard but no prevail to any of this mess. "Lelouch, any luck?" She asked but he responded no as he had already tried. "(Sigh) so where are we and where we're going?" Angelise asked.
"I don't know, judging from the darkness and road surface, we must have been driving along using an old subway lines. If I'm correct, then we're heading toward the exit, there should be a city around here. but getting out of here is mostly the hardest. Still..."
"Hey, a radio. Perhap, I could make contact with them, though I'm not big on military but we'll have to take full protection."
"Wait, what If I give them the transmission from a terrorist communicator or if they found out that I'm a Norma..." As Angelise is thinking to herself.
"Angelise, there's something I must asked something."
Elsewhere.
"Any sign of them?" The Britannian Colonel asked the Royal Guard which they're Clovis's Bodyguard. "Yes Sir. The terrorists are heading toward the UN Terrority using an old subway system as a secret passage." As the Royal Guard confirm to this finding, The Colonel ordered them to send out the Honorary Britannian Legion and told the captain, not to fail him or the viceroy as they cannot allow such failure to soil their reputation.
"Alright listen up, your order are to locate the missing cargo that were stolen by the Terrorists. Go and investigate the subway system that runs through the Eleven residential district in the Shinjuku City. Report in any moment you spotted them. Recovery of the target will be handled by us, the Royal Guard. You people bear the honorary title of Britannians now, though you were born as Elevens! Therefore, the stench of these monkeys oughta be a familiar one! If you want to earn the right to carry arms, then show some results! This is your opportunity to show your loyalty to Britannia!" "Understood?"
Yes, Sir. the Honorary Britannian complied to their order.
"All of the Honorary Britannian are deployed as we speak, Colonel."
"Captain?" An Honorary Britannian named Rai spoke to him. "I don't mean to question your command, but there's a report saying that the terrorist have taken hostage and who knows what demand would we give them as an exchange."
"Don't be Assured, It could be some bandit posing as terrorist for all we know and the hostage would already been dead. That is all for now, you have your order."
"But sir, the hostage are in danger." Rai questioned his commanded officer.
"That is a direct order, follow it!" The Captain demanded.
At the Subway, Nagata who is gravely injured from the earlier attack from Morvis. "Nagata? Come on, stay with me, we're almost there." Hauro tried to comfort and keep Nagata from fainted until they fell into the ditch.
"The tire's stuck... we're trapped...(*cough*)." As Nagata coughing out blood after suffering severe gunshot wound, and Hauro told him to hang in there as they're going to fix him up but it's too late as he's about to die while succumbing to his injury before telling him to look after his family for him and promised to cherished them will love and generosity. "you can tell yourself Nagata... Come on please, don't die... (*sob*) Ohgi... help us."
"(Ugh), what happen?" Angelise replied after an accident. While Hauro tried to get the truck moving but he accidentally open the cargo hold, revealing Angelise and Lelouch out in the open. "Damnnit, wrong one."
One of the Honorary Britannian was able to locate the truck and the Royal Guard informed the Captain about his finding. "Sir, 4-0-4 has sighted the target."
"Excellent work, we'll be arriving very shortly to recover it."
"Yes Captain."
"Lelouch. this is our chance, we can get out of here before..." She was interrupted when the Honorary Britannian knocked her to the ground and engaged in hand to hand combat. However Angelise is easily defeated as she had never fought or defense herself due to not having the light of mana and merely being so weak. "how dare you attack me like that, you Honorary Britannian have no right to attack your imperial..." then he kick her in the abdomen and fell to the floor, pinning her instantly.
"That's enough of you, you damn mindless murder!" he shouted to her, believing that she's one of the terrorist group.
"Wait a minute, I'm not one of those..."
"Shut up! are you planning on using the gas to kill us all! Don't play games with me!" The Honorary Soldier demanded. "You get the hell off her." Lelouch stepped in and pull him off, he told the soldier that they didn't came here by choice but rather their action had dragged them into this unyielding conflict between the United Nation and the Holy Britannian Empire.
"My god. the Honorary soldier was surprised. " you dare called my friend a mindless murder?! Then why not use it wipe us out by obliterating Britannia!"
"It really is you, aren't you?" A soldier was happy to see him but Angelise is confused to all of this and asked how did he know and answered "Well I'm his friend, Suzaku." as he revealed himself as he's part of the Britannian army with Lelouch looking all surprised to see him after seven years ago. While they're busy, Hauro try it again but he once again, accidentally press the button. this time, it is the capsule, to which Suzaku quickly puts his own gas mask on Lelouch's face and Angelise grabs a panel to shield herself. Then the capsule opens, instead of gas, as Suzaku expected. A green-haired women appears, wearing a restraint straitjacket.
On the Topside in Shinjuku City.
The badly damaged Guren made out alive as Kallen send out full report to her mission to Ohgi, which complete compromise the situation. She explained that everything went smoothly but she cut to the chase and tell Ohgi that mission was a misfire.
"(sigh), I see. Did Haruo survive?" he question Kallen?
"I think so, he's still have the weapon we were suppose to get it which I bet it's a poison gas. According the Intelligence from our sources."
"And Nagata?"
"don't know. I hope they're safer underground, somehow."
Meanwhile
"I don't understand, it's exactly what they told us in the briefing. I swear!" Before they can get answers from him, Suzaku's superiors came which turns out to be the Captain of the Royal Guard himself.
"You stupid monkey! Being an honorary Britannian will not excuse you for your insubordination!" Suzaku was shocked to him and ask about the poison gas but he tell Suzaku not to question his briefing and ordered him to execute the terrorists without hesitation. However, Suzaku refused to take their life as they're not terrorist, they're civilians which means he won't obey his order to anyone. Enraged by disobedience, The captain took out Suzaku's gun and shoot him in the back and kills him.
"Well schoolboy, This is not your day to cutting class, isn't?. Collect the girl and recapture the Norma. After you've secured them both, kill the student!" As they're about to take them away, Hauro was desperate to save Nagata. However Nagata insist that he must live and take care of his family, having no alternative to any technicality, Hauro agree and leave him behind as one of them must stay and destroy the Capsule as it was wired with the explosives, connected to the detonator and Nagata is going to be the one to blow it up. So Hauro ran for his life to be away from long ranged explosion with Nagata's picture of his family. In Nagata's last ounce of his breath, he cursed them to those who would harm the people of Japan and give out his last words. " 死ぬ…ブリタニア…長生きする日本！(Death to... Britannia... Long live Japan!)." In his dying moments the truck exploded, giving Lelouch, Angelise and the Mysterious green-haired woman, the opportunity to escape.
Back at the Topside in Clovis's personal G1 Base
"They got away?! And you call yourselves the Royal Guard?! Bartley scolded the Captain for letting them get away. "Forgive me, my lord! The blast was mainly directed upwards, but the-" The Colonel interrupted the conversation between Bartley and the Captain. "I don't want your excuses, just find them and should you run into trouble, Terminated them with extreme prejudice." The Captain complied with the order and resume their investigation.
"All trooper, continue your search and eliminated them if you must." The Colonel ordered.
"Belay that order, Colonel. We're going to moved forward on phase two." As Clovis suggest an alternative route by flushing the terrorist out of hiding and eliminated them without alerted the UN about their involvement. "But, but Your Highness... Crossing their territory would violation to the UN peace agreement and It's a illegal!"
"I will make it legal, besides if word gets out, I'll be disinherited and humiliated for the rest of my life. Tell anyone we're carrying out the renewal initiative, here and now. "As Viceroy of Area 11, third prince of the empire, I command you! Destroy Shinjuku City! Leave no one alive!" After Clovis commands all of his troop to purge Shinjuku City and wiping out every last one of them, From the elderly to the youngest through a massacre and destruction.
"Finally, A real battle!" Jeremiah was enjoyed to eradicate all the Elevens for time since forever. However, The Colonel requested Jeremiah to protect the viceroy at all cost. "Why? And give up my chance in battle, never. I haven't done this in the front lines in ages!"
While Lloyd, Cecile, and Mariel observed the front line in search for a better candidate as there are no one who can test out their latest model, one that can be better than Mobile suit and it would be their greatest achievement yet. However, they cannot test it without a Devicer and it's impossible to function like cogs without gears and gears without cogs.
Later.
As the destruction of Shinjuku City is still continued, Rai confronted the Colonel and Bartley about Suzaku, his friend's death according to the report.
"You bastard! Why did you make him kill my friend like that!" Rai shouted to the Colonel in Anger. "We both know that your friend was never going to follow order and because of that, he paid the price for his defiance." As the Colonel clarified upon the Captain's action. "But that doesn't give him the right to murder his own subordinate." He continuing argued with the Colonel for his cruel injustice regardless of how many soldiers must die. "How dare you! You're just an Honorary Britannian and nothing more as you're always be an expendable and that's all you'll ever be!" The Colonel snap back at him for speaking such treason. "We're not expendable, we all have lives that we care and that's human enough to me or anyone, can you see that!"
"All did I cared is that your friend, Suzaku Kururugi was killed in action due to his insubordination. Even if he's alive, he'll pay for defiancing against Britannian, the Misurugian and the Emperor himself!" After talking down to Rai, he punched him in anger, enraged over how the Britannian became so corrupted. The Royal Guards detained Hiro and beat him senseless until they stop as the Colonel had order them to seized and desist at once. "The viceroy will not save you this time, boy. take him to brig."
Meanwhile at the warehouse during the Skirmish of Shinjuku City.
While Britannian continued to massacre all of the Elevens. Angelise, Lelouch and the Green-haired woman made upside as they just enter the UN terrority, only to approaching by Five Royal Guard and Several Britannian Troop including the captain who kill Suzaku. "Did you found the girls and the student?" The Captain asked. "No sir, we found nothing but Elevens." The soldier replied. "You're sure of it? That exit is the only thing that comes out, and you really sure this is the place?" he asked again. "Yes, sir. It matches up the area from our map to this entire city."
Just as they seem to have evaded detection, Lelouch's phone rings, giving him away. So Angelise took Lelouch's phone, throw it to the ground and stepped until it breaks. Obviously, they didn't realized that it was Shirley who was trying to make a phone call with Lulu and of course, she messed all up. "Huh? That jerk! He hung up on me ! I can't believe it!"
With Angelise and Green-haired woman captured. The Royal Guard begin to beat Lelouch making him bleed as Angelise begs them to stop, so the captain listen and ordered his men to stop. As Lelouch is all bruised up and coughing off blood, the captain chuckled as he had never having this fun in years. "What's more appropriate for this location, where we end the terrorist's threat once and for all." Yet Lelouch could barely stand and calls him a scum, so the captain orders his man to beat him one last time before finally pick him up, dragging him and get him down to his knees.
"(Hmph) you did well for a student in your age, but that's I really do respected. Even though you are Britannian. What a shame, that won't live see this. After all, you're just screw-up kid who had no future. Then, right in this moment, the Green-haired woman decided to step and saved him while saying her first words: "He mustn't die!" She jumps in front of the him and got shot in the forehead, killing her instantly. "You kill her." Angelise shouted to the captain in anger.
"Damn it, our priority is to bring her back alive if necessary. Oh well, there nothing we can do here. So we'll just tell our superiors that the Royal Guard have found the terrorist hideout but manage to exterminate them all. Regrettably, the female hostage was already been tortured to death. So What do you think, schoolboy?"
"How could I let this happen? First Suzaku... Then the girl... Now, I'm about to die and they're take Ange away from me. Before I even had a chance to do a with my life. And it's gone... Nunnally...!" In desperate needs to save his childhood friend and himself, He is grabbed by the hand by the supposedly dead women and projected with visions of his life, his friends, his family, and his future.
"You don't want it to end here, do you?" She spoked."You appear to have a reason for living." As she discussed what it means to be weak where only the strong surpassed the possibility of human evolution, where some trait could be arranged and maybe, he must have the power to save his love ones from their cruel fate. "If you used your power, once given. would you use it for justice or revenge? I propose a deal. In exchange for the power I have granted you, you must agree to make my deepest wish come true. Accept this contract and you'll accept in any conditions, you'll still live among the humans but you will live unlike any other beings imaginable. A different province, a different time, a different life. Be warned, the king's power will isolate you, he'll stop at nothing to condemn you to a life of solitude. Are you prepared for this task?"
Then, In his glimpse of his vision, he see a man who he recognized his appearance and learned that this man is actually his father. Charles Zi Britannia, the 98th Emperor of Britannia. "The convergence to the Ragnarok connection have starting? So the myth is beginning once again?"
After witnessing his father's plan, he learns that if he want to become something better than a human, he accepted and granted him the power of obedience as he had become less than human but rather something more." So... how should a Britannian scum like you, detests his own country without taking his or her life?
"Are you some kind of a radical?" The Captain replied as he point a gun at him but he hesitated to shoot as this had never happened before. What's the matter? Why aren't you shooting? Your opponent is nothing more than a schoolboy. Or have you finally realized? That the only ones who should be kill, are those who are prepared to be killed. As such his power begin to manifest in a certain age as this is the true power of the king. "W-What's happening here...?!
As the Captain and the Royal Guards tremble to their feet, Lelouch begin to correspond his power as he revealed himself to them, too bad they'll never speak about it. "I, Lelouch vi Britannia, and I hereby commanded you subjects... now all of you... die!" After he ordered all of them (except for Ange) to kill themselves, and they complied with his order, and so the Captain and his Royal Guards were all killed by Lelouch's powers without hesitation, having dead body fall to the floor while their blood started to spill.
"This was the turning point. Through many years, I've lived a world of lies. The lies of living. And my name was also a lie. My personal history, a lied. Nothing but lies. I was sick of death and entire world that couldn't be changed. But in my deception, I refused to give up in despair. But with this incredible power... And, it's all mine... Well, then..."
