Hormones

The gang and the Formans head up to WB's office. They are greeted by WB's secretary, Mary. She tells them to go in and have a seat, and lets them know that he is on the phone with his lawyers. WB is very surprised to see Jackie with Steven. That girl is a lot tougher than she gets credit for.

The kids take a seat on the sofa. It's hard not to notice that Jackie is wedged between Donna and Fez. Hyde would have preferred that she sit beside him, but at least she is here. He knows that right now that's more than he 's more than he did for her when she told him about that job in Chicago. It's definitely more than he did when Fucking Kelso showed up at that motel.

The Formans stand by the window, patiently waiting to see what WB may have learned these last couple of hours. WB hangs up the phone and walks over to the Formans. "Red, Kitty can I get either of you something to drink?"

They both shake their head could both use a stiff drink, but right now is not the time. First they're going to help their son, and then lord knows they are going to have a few drinks.

"Let's have a seat, There are a few things we need to talk about and I have a few questions" WB says as he directs the Formans sit adjacent to the kids.

"Steven, do you want all your friends here or just Jackie?"

Jackie looks up, " Oh they are staying with me ."

WB can see that she needs them for support so he doesn't object. " Would you kids like anything before we get started?"

"Do you think we could have some ginger ale and crackers?" Hyde asks before anyone has a chance to ask for anything else.

WB picks up his phone and asks Mary, his secretary, to bring in 4 ginger ales and some crackers. He finds the request odd especially after the strange looks that Donna and Fez exchange with Steven.

Red wanting to get all the cards out on the table starts them off. "Look before we get started WB I think you should hear what Kitty noticed at the house before we showed up."

Everyone turns their attention to Mrs Forman. "I don't know how much this will help, but when that girl showed up, she knew that Steven's father was William Barnett, and that he had money. She assumed that I was his mother and she wanted to know why we lived at that house if we were so rich. Then you and Red showed up and she assumed that he was Steven's father. If she knows that Steven's father has money then why doesn't she know who his father is? She was more than a little shocked when she met you and the whole thing just doesn't sit right with me. Anyone that know's my Steven knows that he does not go around announcing that he has a rich father. "

WB looks at Mrs Forman, she has just hit the nail on the head, "Me either to be honest, I just got off the phone with my lawyers and one of the best private investigators I know who works out of Las Vegas. He's going to get to the bottom of this whole thing. I don't believe that girl, I want you to know that Steven. I think she is after a payday, and if you want I can go pay her off, and maybe she will leave, or do you want to get to the bottom of this? It's up to you."

Jackie speaks up for the first time. "Oh if he wants to be with me he will get to the bottom of this. No more easy ways out Steven. It's time we both start doing things the right way, even if it's the hard way."

Hyde knows she's right, even though he wants nothing more than Sam to disappear."I need to get to the bottom of this, not just for Jackie but for my family too."

Red and Kitty are both relieved to hear Steven say this. Maybe he is finally learning to trust that his family has his back. No matter what.

WB wants to get the information out there so he can help his son get his life on track. "Steven, I'm glad to hear you say that. Look, let's just say that Sam's big mistake was showing you that marriage certificate."

"Ooh" escapes from Jackie's broken heart, Donna and Fez both hug her, at the same time Hyde hangs his head. He wishes he could be the one comforting Jackie.

WB continues"Jackie I am sorry but it's good news, It took my guy less than an hour to prove that it was a phony. It would have taken days if not weeks to go through all the records in Vegas. Now we know that you are definitely not married to that girl. Knowing this will make it easier to find out exactly what she's after."

"Wait so if the certificate is a phony that proves that I'm not married" Hyde exclaims.

WB agree's. "That's exactly what I'm thinking."

"Mr Barnett, why would that girl show up here with a fake certificate? I don't understand what is going on." Jackie has so many things going on that she just can't seem to figure this out. What could she possibly hope to get from Steven?

"I cannot be sure, Jackie but I feel like she wants my money. She probably thought that Steven would pay her off just to get her to leave. She probably thought our Steven here was like a lot of other rich kids, just living off daddy's dime."

"Well she is in for a rude awakening if that's truly what she is after. Even if I had money I'm not the kind of guy that freakin pays my way out of trouble."

Jackie feels like she's about to be sick. She's at a war with herself. She wants to say something really bitchy right now but she also wants to be supportive. She did tell Steven that she would listen and that she would give him the benefit of the doubt.

The doctor did say she needed to keep the stress to a minimum. So she is not going to hold anything in anymore…

"Steven I'm about to say something and I know that it's going to be bitchy and I am kind of sorry for that. I feel like if I keep all my angry, bitchy thoughts inside I'm going to throw up again. You know what though, I'm not actually that sorry. After all, you did go to Vegas and fake marry that whore. Looks like after three whole weeks apparently you didn't know your stripper friend as well as you thought you did!"

Hyde begins to say something and he is interrupted by WB and Red's laughing. "Don't say a word Dumbass. For the rest of your life Jackie will have this escapade of yours filed away to use whenever she's fit. Right about now the loud one sees fit.

"Red is right, son. You will never live it down so don't even try."

Kitty looking at the kids remembers when she told Jackie to pick her battles, well that dumbass son of hers might as well hold up the white flag because Jackie will win any battle for the rest of their lives. She has won the war before it even starts.

"Jackie dear, are you feeling ok? Remember what the doctor said about stress and getting to worked up." Mrs Forman asks.

"Actually Mrs Forman, I think the baby liked it when I yelled at his dad. I don't even feel like throwing up anymore."

"Wait what baby ?" shouts WB.

Now Steven gets a smile on his face. This is not exactly how he planned on telling his dad but nothing has exactly worked out how it was supposed to lately."Our's. Jackie and I are having a baby. Grandpa Barnett."

WB should have seen all the signs. He had spent time at the Formans over the last three weeks. Jackie was emotional, Kitty and Red both had said that she was sick a lot and barely ate. They all had assumed it was stress that he thinks about it, his late wife had all the same signs when they were expecting Angie.

Jackie smiles automatically. They haven't had much of a chance to talk but just the way Steven said "Our baby" warms her heart. She feels so many things at the same time. She stands up and walks over to Steven. Right now she just wants to hug him and she can't even say why.

Hyde stands up to catch his girl who looks like she could pass out at any moment. She needs to take a nap. She reaches out and he pulls her into his arms. He barely made out her tears before she hides her face in his chest. "Jackie, are you okay, why are you crying?"

"I don't even know."

Kitty, Red, WB, Donna and even Fez look at the couple and say, "hormones" at the same time.

Meanwhile Back in Point Place

Kelso couldn't decide where to take Hyde's stripper wife so he decided to bring her to the Holiday Hotel. He figures he can start to put his detective skills to use. He is going to stop in and ask Roy to keep an eye on the curvy blond. Kelso knows he screwed up in Chicago and Hyde is right he does owe him.

He takes Sam's luggage to her room and maybe for the first time ever, he does not hit on this chick. Instead he makes note of the room number so he can let Hyde know what room she's in.

Sam closes the door as soon as Hyde's friend walks out of the room. She needs to call Jimmy. This is not what she signed up for. He had said this job would be like taking candy from a baby.

Kelso finds Sam's jacket in his car and decides to take it to her. He knocks on the door but no one answers. He can hear a voice through the door. "Jimmy Malone's room please." After a few seconds he hears her again. "Look Jimmy you said it would be easy to trick that Hyde kid into believing we were married. He has this whole crazy family and NO ONE believes that he married me. Except for maybe his pathetic girlfriend. Uh huh, ok. Jimmy, look I don't think he's going to give me any money. Look I'm sorry that his dad owes you but this just isn't working like you said it would. By the way, which Dad owes you the white one or the black one? Hmm I mean it's whatever but you could have at least told me so I could have been prepared."

Kelso is frozen solid for a few seconds not believing everything that he's just heard. Damn this is just like one of those soap operas that his mom and Mrs Forman watch. He decides to take off and wait for Hyde and the rest of the gang to show up at the Formans. Just as he pulls up to the Formans house a yellow taxi parks out front.

Kelso can not believe who he sees getting out of the big yellow car…..
