Not gonna say much. Have another chapter.
Pokemon mystery dungeon Loss of identity chapter 9, special episode 2, a spark of friendship.
"Venus, use an iron head!"
Upon a spire of indoor rock, a Mawile ran forwards, grinning as it bashed its maw, made of pure steel into the side of a poor Tyrunt, which promptly fainted.
"Congrats kid." Grant said, recalling his Tyrunt. "You've earned the cliff badge," Grant announced, opening up his badge pouch, and taking out a brown badge with little gems on the side. "Here ya go."
Ian, the young trainer excitedly pinned it to his Pokédex, and hoisted the young Mawile up. "We did it Venus!"
"Maaw!"
"Thanks grant!" Ian said, as he began to climb down the rock wall behind him, and eventually, went outside of the gym overlooking Cyllage city. "Where do we go next though… hmmm… what about north?"
"Maw."
"Sounds good to me," he said, retrieving the Mawile to her ball, and pulling out his foldable bike, riding down, and going to the north end of town.
It had been almost 2 weeks since they had met, but they already made a great team, arguably better than him and his starter, Frogadier.
As he went north, however, to route ten, something odd happened. He had been biking through the grass, when lo and behold, an Eevee jumped out at him, growling.
"Awww…" he ignored the not very threatening threats from the fox, and pulled out his ball with Venus in it. "Go Venus! Also, its a wild, and maybe a future team member?" he didn't seem too sure.
Venus walked up to the small Eevee, who appeared to be the same age as her, and was clearly more intelligent than most wild Pokémon.
The Eevee shifted its attention to the odd yellow and black Pokémon, growling, but didn't move or run away, instead opting to summon star shaped projectiles. They began to quickly fly through the air, but before any of them could hit Venus, a blue and red ball bonked into the Eevee, sucking it in. it wobbled a couple of times, before a click could be heard. With the click, the stars in midair dropped like rocks, and disappeared.
"Gotcha!" the young trainer called, before quickly grabbing the great ball, and opening it with a push of the button.
A very frazzled Eevee appeared on the ground, and quickly got its bearings.
"Hey… you okay?" Ian said, gesturing it closer. The Eevee of course, refused, and growled a bit.
"Feisty lil girl aren't ya? I think I'm gonna name you… Clairé… yeah, Clairé. Venus, what do you think?"
"Aaw."
"Sounds good then. Clairé, welcome to the team!"
The Eevee, extremely confused, just stared, before it got sucked back into its ball, alongside Venus.
Ian, with his 4th team member, quickly biked off towards Geosenge town, excited about the new Eevee, and considering his options for evolution.
Another short special episode. The next one will hopefully be much longer, and better. With real conflict too!
Anyways, since this chapter and 8 will be out the same day, well, have fun with 2.
The next chapter will either be out in a week, 2 weeks, or mid September knowing me.
