Ktin quickly put Ana on a wall that kept them out of sight. Ana yelped, "What now?" Ana said only getting shushed. "It's him." Ktin said taking out his blaster. "Who?" Ana said. "Kar, the slime I should've put a hole in." Ktin said looking at her and out the entrance of the ship quickly. "We have one exit, and he's blocking it." Ktin said holstering his blaster. "I'll try and negotiate, if I know him well enough he'll accept the bargain and leave." Ktin walked out and Ana continued cleaning her armor knowing only one person was leaving alive in that standoff.
Kar turned around to see the Mandalorian in front of him. "Do you really think you're going to leave alive?" Kar said waving his blaster in the air towards Ktin. "Let's try and make sure both of us leave this place without a hole in their chest." Ktin said putting his hand on his blaster, Kar did the same. Kar drew his first and blasted Ktin in his chest plate and helmet each 5 times, putting Ktin on one knee Ktin drew his blaster firing 2 times at Kar missing as Kar slid into cover. Ktin walked towards Kar's cover with his blaster pointed in front of him, Ktin then pulled out his second one and then got blasted in his helmet and then his durasteel pauldron. Ktin grew tired of this and ended his inner battle on whether to kill his friend turned enemy.
He shrugged off the blaster shots that hit his armor and grabbed Kar by the throat and slammed him on the piece of metal he was using as cover. "Guess I'm getting killed by a murderer. I'm just going to be another tally mark aren't I?" Kar said dropping his blaster when Ktin slammed him. "I know exactly who you are, a murderer. Once somebody messes with somebody you care about you turn places into war zones. And for what? Revenge?" Kar said. "And I know exactly who YOU are, a deceptive manipulator." Ktin said as he blasted Kar in the head ending his life.
Ktin boarded the ship and removed the pauldron checking for any injury when he felt a sharp pain in his side, Ana went over to him and inspected him. "I'm fine." Ktin insisted, "Ktin, you were grazed. You could've died!" Ana said looking at him. Ktin sighed "I'm fine. Like I said earlier, it was only a graze." Ktin said grabbing his pauldron and attaching it back on. "It's hard to get through your shell, but we both know you're just soft inside." Ana said placing the bacta patch on the wound. "If you don't learn how to take care of yourself you might need to consider bringing me along." Ana said sitting beside Ktin. "I can already handle myself, I know you can too.. I'm just- I don't want to lose you." Ktin said looking at Ana. "You won't." Ana said as the others walked into the ship. "What happened out there?" Din said gesturing to the aftermath of the shootout. "Just had business to attend to."
Ktin and Ana were dropped off on Coruscant, Ktin and Ana exited the ship and walked to the ship that they took from Nevarro when the Imperial attack occurred. "I'm surprised it hasn't been blown to pieces yet." Ana said walking inside and sitting inside of the co pilot seat. "So where are we headed?" Ktin said spinning the chair towards Ana. "I don't know, here is fine to be honest." Ana said sitting back and putting her feet on the console. "That's fine with me." Ktin said as he shuffled in the seat trying to get comfortable. "Ktin, I have a question.. did you ever really know your parents?" Ktin turned to her. "My father was killed and I presume my mother is dead." Ktin said looking at Ana. "I'm so sorry.." Ana said taking his hand. "How about a walk through Coruscant?" Ana said dragging him out of the ship.
Ana dragged Ktin through the city, Ktin could barely keep up with her. "Why do you walk so fast?" Ktin said finally catching up. "I don't know, why do you walk so slow?" Ana said stopping and looking at Ktin, "I'm not slow, I'm simply just not fully adapted to your pace.. that's all." Ktin said staring at her through her viewfinder. "Really? You aren't adapted to my pace?" Ana said tilting her head. "You must've bumped your head, we definitely need to check for any brain damage once we get back to the ship Mr. I can't adapt." Ana said grabbing his hand and continuing the walk.
Ana had somehow fallen asleep when they took a break from walking, Ktin knew he should've told her to not make them walk hours. But of course, he didn't. He shook Ana awake and placed her on her feet. "Oh! We still need to check for brain damage.. remember?" Ana said sleepily. "Can we do that tomorrow?" Ktin said walking towards the sleeping compartment. "Well you still know how to speak, so I guess you don't need a check for brain damage." Ana said as she cut the lights of the ship's interior and removed her helmet. Ktin places his helmet in a small storage compartment and Ana did the same. Just as they both reached the sleeping area Ana tripped and fell on Ktin. "First of all, ow. Second of all, how did you even trip?" Ktin said trying to help Ana up in the darkness. "I'm not even sure, maybe it was because you were in my way." Ana said grabbing Ktin's hand. "You can't blame me for your clumsiness all the time." Ktin said running his fingers through Ana's hair. "I'm still gonna do it." Ana said throwing herself into the sleeping compartment. "Guess there's no stopping you now." Ktin said sleepily as he went into the sleeping compartment
