I had this shot in my mind for god knows how long. so here is another drabble in 24-hour.

This is also based on real incident. who else could you... it's mine ofc.

I had school projects of each subject to submit before 11-12dec but it shift to 8dec (I was like, is our/students lives are joke to you?) and this circular came out on 5dec, and I've 6 subjects, sooo...I hope you can imagine what happened with me.

"are you sure you aren't sleepy!?" kai firmly asked Hilary as he hide his amused look.

This was nth time when she fell asleep almost. kai and Hilary recently started dating and Hilary promised him she will be on his side for forever. but looks like she took it in other way.

Kai had an urgent project to complete but due date shifted and he had to do his project as soon as possible. Hilary was there for helping him like always bcoz few subjects were common in them (language once).

"no I'm not!!!! I just want to help you !!" she answered with big ruby red eyes as she looked at him, totally dinied that she badly want to sleep, she worked so hard today during practice then her own homework, studies, up-down, and HERE SHE WAS... HELPING HIM.

"you are!! look at your face" kai debated back.

"I'm totally fine" she said as she lightly slapped her both cheeks so she wouldn't feel sleepy anymore.

"if you want you can go bed, it's already late for you" kai suggested. It was already 12:30am. she usually sleeps at 10pm and she already went too far.(not really)

"No. I want to accompany you" this time she said with low, sleepy voice, sleep was visible on his face.

After few seconds he finally gave up.

"fine" he turned his head back in laptop screen.

46 seconds later...

she was sleeping peacefully, her head was on his shoulder. kai stopped whatever he was doing/writing and looked at her with content. later he took calm breath as the edges of his lips curled up slightly.

Kai looked at her for few minutes, her breaths were audible.

"you really don't need to be by my side to prove you are on my side. because I know you are here for me always for forever, dummy" he whispered in her ear as he let a smile rose on his lips.

(AN: okay, I accidentally added more sugar in my coffee)

Kai snuggled her even more close of him. By the view of 3rd person you could say Hilary was leaned over kai from one side as her head rested over his shoulder, Kai's one left hand was rapped around her arms in attempt to hold her close. his left ear was on her hair as he titled his head, his placed his right leg over left knee, his laptop was on his lap and he was using one hand for typing (who knew kai could do that).

"she could just tell me to stop and I will do that later" kai whispered to himself as he took some pity on her when he looked at her again.

"kai... I will...be..on your side" even she whispered it very lightly but kai could clearly understand that.

"hn" he signed as shook his head at her cuteness.

I should be studying Right now but...
