TIMELINE: AFTER V-FORCE

Bladebreakers finally got a vacation after defeating their annoying enemies but only Kami-sama(god) knew how they managed to drag their team captain with them.

And the place they chose was none other than China for their holiday. it was six nights and seven days vacation but the six day had already passed and today was going to be their last day here and then they had their flight in evening.

But something was going on between the captain and coach, they had slightly feelings for eachother but they weren't sure about it nor confidence to make move. what if she likes tyson? what if I'm not his type? what if s/he thinks of me just as friends!?? and so on many questions, their hearts weren't ready to take if the progress would come out positive or negative. it wouldn't matter till they wouldn't take steps further on their own. those six day all got in trash but not totally since they also enjoyed with their friends and slightly passed those sneaky hopeful glances on eachother, hoping them to notice but were going nowhere.

"Today is the last day!" they both said as they frowned in their rooms in their places.

"guys! Today we are going to visit an ancient place which is really famous but mostly people visit in morning so there will be barely people during lunch time" ray informed them since he chose the place, not only he was known with everything but also knew about that place's myths.

"what's so unique about it ray?" max asked.

"I will tell you all once we reach!"

"aww! mann! you no good!" tyson disappointed.

"sorry ty but I don't wanna ruin the suspense?" ray chuckled.

"FINALLY WE ARRIVE!" ray said with excitement but everyone wasn't giving vibe check to him. everyone was slightly disappointed to see their last day location but kai and Hilary was more mad b/c they didn't know why either.

"ray! these are just stairs!" Tyson said with unamused look.

"no! no! no! these are not just any normal stairs! this place is known b/c of this and it known as 'the stairs of flight' the ancient myth says if you climb these stairs truthfully, then your meet your future self in midstairs. lot of people says it's not ture since they saw nothing but I really believe in these stuffs" ray informed them. everyone seems interested but kai and hilary were getting nervous like it was their some kind of test that they had to clear no matter what but with their confidence level it turned out like they didn't studied a single chapter. It's time to face their feelings and take next step. Even though Hilary believed in these stuffs but she wanted it to be rumor, like ray said.

"but if some other people will be coming downstairs and we get them as our futureselves?" max clarified his doubts.

"actually this stairs are only for going up and there has another stairs on other side for visitors to do down!" ray answered.

"so what are we waiting for? let's go!" Tyson announced and already started to climb but before he could even take his first step, ray pulled his arm to stop him.

"now what!?" he asked.

"we have to go one by one!" it somehow relieved kai and Hilary that they didn't had to face eachother if they would be together or not.

"first, tyson will go, then?" ray asked.

"me" max said.

"ok, so next will be kenny?" ray asked and kenny nodded. then he looked at kai and hilary, waiting for them to say something but it turned nore awkward so ray nervously laughed and nominated himself.

"then I will go! what about you guys?" ray nervously laughed.

"oh-uh! I will go after you!" Hilary spoke-up as she noticed Ray's unease.

"then kai you will come in last! ok?" kai simply passed an agreement gaze to him.

One by one everyone went up, the lesser the people the more nervousness increased. Finally Ray's turn came and he looked at his rest of teammates.

"so Hilary, you have to start after 5 minutes from I start then you come after Hilary, okay?" ray explained once again, somehow his instincts were saying him that his captain and coach was in different mood but he didn't asked for it b/c he really didn't want to involve in their...umm...mess!?

5 MINUTES LATER...

All these minutes Hilary didn't even looked at kai, just simply staring the ground, even right now the plain wall seems interesting to her but kai noticed this everything without looking at her.

"now it's my turn!" she finally said something, her voice crumbled. wait she was nervous too? but for what? isn't like she was really into me? or was she like someone already?!! kai definitely noticed this too and couldn't hold his rage whoever this guy would be.

After 1-2 minutes, Hilary was about to reach halfway but her pace was slow since her whole thoughts were filled with kai right now she couldn't even walk straight. hoping for no one to appear, that's her face said but heart went in different way.

Hilary was so lost in her thoughts that she took a wrong step and fell almost 2-3 steps.

Kai heard her scream amd couldn't hold himself on his place, his eyes widened with fear and he ran and climbed the fastly. he saw hilary sitting on stairs in pain, holding her ankle.

"what's wrong!?" he asked as he went near her scanned her injury.

"hn? what you do-"

"I asked first!" he cut off her sentence.

"my foot accidentally slipped and I sprained my ankle!" she said in crumbly voice.

"hn? what were you thinking about!?" kai asked as he was mad that she let herself get hurt this easily. Hilary jolt her look at him. of course she was talking about him.

"you should be more careful..." surprisingly for hilary, kai actually cared for her. somehow she was happy and content to see this expression on his face for her.

"I think it's alright now! should we go?" she asked once he finished.

"you still want to?" he doubted that she was actually alright.

"yeah! guys are waiting for us, up there and we have almost reached midway. let's finish the rest together!" she was still nervous to say it out loud, thinking if it sounds weird but she also wanted to next steps with kai, not only of these actual stairs but the stairs of the life.

"I can't win" he exhaled in low breath. they both stood up and Kai gave hilary body support while hilary placed his arm over his shoulder to lean on him. somehow they slightly smiled as they finally got time for eachother alone but nothing coming from their mouths.

They didn't noticed that they reached midway but Hilary asked him to stop her b/c she couldn't bear pain anymore.

"let's rest for a moment!" she asked.

"ok!" Hilary was looking at her injury while kai was looming over her.

Suddenly they heard the footsteps and immediately concluded it might be the guys. they came back to check them since it took her more than 5 minutes to reach on the top.

"thank god! you guys ar-" she looked up at them but stopped when she noticed who they actually were. kai and Hilary both eye's widened at theirs limits, body froze and feets glued on the stairs, their minds denied to accept what they were seeing.

Kai and Hilary's adult versions were coming down together on right side, looking in each other's eyes with contact smile on their lips as their forehead were slightly touched. They were so handsome and beautiful that no one could believe, when they walk together like powerful couple that no one could be compared, well dressed elegantly in formal wear. Kai's right hand were over Hilary's shoulder and Hilary also used her right hand back to intertwined his hand, their wedding bands were completely showing off on their ring fingers. The more present kaihil noticed the details the more theirs breaths shortened.

The moment the adults reached on the same stair their eyes finally met from eachother and future once's smile even brightened and they both looked back at eachother but didn't stop going downstairs. it felt like time stopped at that vary moment.

That wasn't enough, there had more. the present kaihil still couldn't believe on their eyes, they jaws were about to hit the stairs as they were watching them going downstairs but they were so out of lost that none of them decided to go and stop them and talk with them, it all felt so much like dream.

But Suddenly they heard one more person's footsteps as soon a boy of their age came in their view but this one were more shocking and unbelievable.

A boy who was xerox of kai but he had quite features of hilary too specially his eyes. He gave them a toothy smile as his ruby red eyes sparkled in sunrays. he winked at them as he reached the mid-stairs and waved his right hand at them or saying maybe... meeting you soon! XD

He rushed to reach at the same steps at his parents who gave him birth and went between them held both of their arms from each side as the happy family.

Back to present Kai and Hilary, they still feeling like it was all their imagination but when they both looked at eachother, they gaze met, they both were flushed to see whatever just happened and looked back at the previous spot. unfortunately no one was there any more. There was heck in no way two people imagined the same details. they wanted to talk about it, wanted to scream about but what they would day. 'hey kai/Hilary. did you saw our futureselves and our kid just met us?' it sounds so awkward even more for kaihil fans. they refused to look at eachother.

Hilary was more shocked b/c now she wasn't feeling any pain in her foot. the sprain wasn't there anymore.

"wha-...uhh!! I can walk!"

"hn?"

"it's not hurting anymore!" he felt happy but when their eyes met again, they both turned completely red and looked away.

"we should be going. the others are waiting for us!" she changed the topic to reduce the embarrassment.

"hm" he agreed and they both start climbing again. next step after another but together!

"WHAT TOOK YOU GUYS SO LONG!" Tyson screamed as he almost died from hunger waiting for them and it's already lunch time but none of them said anything but ray noticed their unusual silence and the fact that they both come together instead one after another and...they both were...unnn!!... blushing? did something happened with them? oh ray! you have no idea what just I did to them XD

"did you guys see anything or your future one?" ray's question make their heads jolt up with shock and embarrassment but they both shook their heads.

"oww man! none of us saw anything either and by the way, why you came together?" max also noticed that thing.

"I hurt my ankle but it's alright now, no need to worry" Hilary answered and laughed nervously in the end.

"NOW CAN WE GO!! I'M STRIVING TO DEATH!!"

"sure tyson!" ray answered and they all walked on.

Finally time to leave such beautiful place where they all created special and precious memories together, specially the kaihil. they got something more than they both expected, their first Love.

They all checked in and went in the plane everyone sat on their seats expect Hilary and Tyson.

"huhh!!! I'm not gonna sit next to Mr sourpuss!! I'm want the window seat!"

"Tyson! just sit down already!" Hilary hissed in pissed off tone.

"you will say you got window seat! heyy!! change seats with me please" Tyson didn't let her answer and he snatched her ticket and sat on her window seat. before Hilary argued with him she noticed there was other passanger who were waiting for her to sit down since it was getting more crowded. she silently went on Tyson's now her's seat on, sat without making noise.

Kai and Hilary both were still in their awkward phase, refused to meet eyes. kai was looking outside the window while Hilary was reading her book.

As time passed, they both checked their positions time to time. when they came in proper sitting position, suddenly their pinkies touched. they still didn't looked at eachother but their lips parted since their heart raced like no. 1 racing car but interestingly none of them withdrawal their hands, their pinkies were still touching and slowly their fingers, each second was so intense for them like it was their final barrier. Sooner their fingers rubbed against eachother and kai finally took courage, forget his ego, intertwined her fingers with his. it surprised Hilary as she looked the intertwined hand and blushed. they both didn't look at eachother nor exchanged a single sound but it already begun and whatever they saw today was already too much for them.

once these walls broke, everything would turn normal. once they accepted eachother then it wouldn't matter if others would do or not since they would have themselves even now and the future, they will be together.

For god sake, I wanted to write it for so long but finally wrote it today. so please let me know if you liked it.
