THE GIFT Part 6
Back in the past, Itachi was tied up and made a confused look at Sasuke after he heard his story. "So... let me get this straight. You came from the future and you went back to stop me from murdering the clan..."
Sasuke said. "Yes. It brings us more suffering and our extinction to our clan."
"You idiot! You know the Uchiha clan is going to start a coup! They will start a war!"
"Do not worry." Sasuke assured him. "We have Naruto."
After the change, Sasuke arrived at a new timeline, waking up and noticed he's in his room. "It's done." He gets up and noticed he still has his left arm that means he and Naruto didn't fight. Then he heard his mother calling him downstairs. He can't help it and tried to hold down his tears. When he heard her voice, it made him smile.
Back to the present, fire began to rise around the area and the rain cannot stop the burning. Hidan and the Anbu attacked the place, eliminating anyone they see.
Sasuke soon woke up with his left arm stuck on a fallen pillar. He tried to pull but to no avail. Meanwhile, Hidan heard the Uchiha struggling and smirked as he approached him. "Stop it. You know you won't get out from that."
As Sasuke was struggling, the immortal took his time enjoying the rain, cleansing his bloodstained black body. "How disappointing. I was expecting a challenge here." He looked down and picked up the wounded Itachi Uchiha from the ground and dragged him towards Sasuke. "Where's the flashing jutsus or those magic eye tricks? Didn't make time to use them?" He laughed.
As the immortal was busy mocking the Uchiha brothers, Yamato checked the corpse of some ninjas from Amegakure who died defending. Once he found a wounded one, he finished them off.
Soon Sai found a wounded blue-haired woman crawling away from the battlefield. The cold-hearted ninja quickly took care of her, making it quick.
Sasuke kept on struggling until he saw Sakura holding her baby, crying and praying for their safety.
Hidan heard her and approached the weeping woman and patted her pink hair. "There, there... the killing has stopped. You can make your baby stop crying." His body revert back to his normal skin color, ending the ritual. "You might get out of here alive. He whispered, creepily close to her ears.
Sasuke yelled at him. "Don't touch her, you bastard! Don't you dare touch her!"
The immortal kept on caressing her hair, mocking the Uchiha's words. "And why is that? Why are you so interested with this woman?" He pinched her cheek hard that it turned red. "Is she juicy?"
He licked her cheek. "Tasty?"
He spread his hands all over her. "An eye candy?"
Furious, Sasuke tried to lift the pillar but he cannot do it with one arm. It is hopeless.
But the immortal kept on taunting the Uchiha. "Look! I'm touching her!" He poked her forehead. "See? I'm touchi-" He was interrupted mid-sentence by a powerful blast of chakra propelling him away from her.
Fortunately, Naruto has returned but now in his six-tailed form. "GET. AWAY. FROM. HER!"
Hidan got back up easily and brushed off imaginary dust from his shoulder. "Alright. Round 3." He then picked up his sickles and charged towards the Kyuubi with a big smile on his face."
As Naruto was fighting, Sasuke called Sakura, telling her to make a run for it. "Sakura! Run while you still can! RUN!"
She tried to but her path was blocked by Yamato and Sai with their weapons drawn.
"Forgive us." Yamato said.
"We are just following orders." Sai raised his weapon.
In despair, Sasuke called out her name. "SAKURA!"
Soon out from the blue, Itachi emerged from the ruins with a bleeding abdomen. He saw the two about to kill the mother and her child in cold-blood. The dying Uchiha made his final attack. "AMATERASU!"
He sent black flames to the two Anbu and burned them quickly. They wailed in agony and died instantly which made Sakura scream in horror and ran away from the battlefield.
She ran as fast as she could, taking her child away.
Hidan soon noticed what happened and wanted to end the fight immediately. He saw the Kyuubi charging towards him. He then looked down and noticed the sewer line. "I'll deal with you later." As Naruto leaped towards him, Hidan opened the sewer and let the beast fell inside of it. "Here you go." He dropped a strong knockout gas that will ease the beast for sure. But it is still experimental. After that, he ran to stop Sakura. "Where are you going?"
He grabbed her by the hair. Sakura struggled. "Let go of me!"
"Itachi! Do something!" Sasuke continued pulling his arm off the pillar.
His brother tried to but he remembered that Hidan got his blood and he's still cursed. "I... I can't..."
"He's going to kill her!"
"I know!" Itachi looked at his brother. "You can still change this!"
Sasuke tried to ignore his words. "No! I won't do it! I just got you all back."
"Damn it, Sasuke." He knew his brother would not listen. If he cannot do it, he will force him to do it. "Then I'll make you do it." He activated his Mangekyou Sharingan and casted Amaterasu on to Hidan.
The immortal immediately, turned back his technique and his body turned black again. "Are you an idiot? We are still connected!" He laughed as he showed them that they are on a huge diagram that he made. "While I'm here, you are cursed!"
"Itachi! What did you do?" Sasuke saw his brother's body began to change rapidly... like it is burning.
"Ch- change it... Sasuke..." His brother said as he felt the burning.
Shocked to see his brother die again, he tried to yell but he cannot. Then he heard the baby crying. He saw Hidan grabbed Sakura by the neck and her baby on the ground, wailing for his mom. "No... no... please..."
Hidan smirked. "I'd like to apologize that I'm enjoying every moment here. Now watch as I slowly squeeze her throat."
"NO! NO!" He begged. "PLEASE! DON'T DO IT!"
Despite his plea, the immortal continued. Sakura was struggling to break free but quickly losing consciousness.
Sasuke wanted to use Susanoo but he doesn't have the power in the new timeline. "Please..."
The sadistic immortal wanted to make it exciting, so he threw his sickle to the Uchiha. "Here ya go. Break yourself free."
Sasuke picked it up and used it to smash the pillar. But the weapon was not meant to break the pillar.
"Hurry up, Uchiha. She's losing her breathe here..."
Sasuke tried smashing it harder but he only made scratches on the stone pillar. He just need a chisel or a hammer to break it.
"You know there are other ways to get out." Hidan smirked.
Sasuke then looked at his trapped arm. He had no choice but to do it. "Damn it. Damn it! DAMN IT!" He held the sickle with a tight grip and started hacking his left arm. He screamed at the first swing and then another and another.
Hidan was impressed that an Uchiha is willing to amputate his limb just to save a common girl. He laughed hysterically. "What a wonderful sight!"
Sakura caught the glimpse of Sasuke cutting his arm off. Horrified, she tried to tell him to stop but she can only do was cry.
He kept on swinging the sickle until he cannot feel his left arm anymore. He kept on doing it until he reached the bone. It took him a second to cut all the way through the bone.
Once he broke free, Hidan waited for his next movie. "So... what are you waiting for?"
Sasuke is in tears as she held his bleeding arm. He was not thinking straight and vision blurring. "I... I... I can't..."
Hidan got disappointed. The Uchiha became weak after the amputation. "Too bad." He grabbed Sakura's neck and then twisted it.
Sasuke screamed. "NOOOOO!"
However, he was stopped and noticed the immortal froze. Hidan's arms fall off and Sakura dropped to the ground, unconscious. "Who in the hell did this?" He turned around and saw a familiar face. "YOU?!"
One clean cut to the head, the immortal was finished. Asuma made it in time to save Sasuke and Sakura.
Sakura regained consciousness and soon saw a familiar face. "Asuma sensei! You're alive!"
"Well, you got lucky. Master Jiraiya called all of us, telling us that he has found the Kyuubi." He signaled everyone and the Resistance has arrived.
After seeing familiar faces and Sakura and her child safe, Sasuke cannot help but smile. But with the loss of blood, the Uchiha dropped to the ground and his vision blacked out.
