Greetings one and all. After a bit of a break to catch up on college work, I'm back.
Today, a parody of season 7 episode 6: The One With the Nap Partners.
Lincoln was at his friend, Clyde's house for the day. The two of them just finished watching Season 2 of the hit Nickelodeon cartoon, Rugrats.
"Wow," Clyde said. "Rugrats. Still great".
"If Season 2 got you, " Lincoln said. "Wait until we see what Season 3 has".
Clyde's dads came in.
"Hey guys," Howard said.
Lincoln and Clyde said hi back.
"What are you watching?" Harold asked.
"Rugrats," Lincoln said. "We just finished the first 2 seasons."
"How many seasons are there?" Howard asked.
"Nine," Clyde answered. "But we're only onto season 3. This is one of the coolest shows ever".
His dads agreed.
"You have all 9 seasons?" Howard asked.
"And all 4 seasons of the spin off, All Grown Up," Clyde said.
Harold and Howard agreed to it.
"Don't you wanna see it with us?" Clyde asked.
"Our cats have a lot of issues that need to be taken care of," Howard said before walking off.
Harold then told the 2 boys, "not that many issues. Howard just wanted to get out of here before someone gets all worked up and start calling the others a brainless fool".
Lincoln then asked Harold, "what are you talking about Father McBride?"
Harold then exited Clyde's room to catch up with Howard.
"This is the best show ever," Clyde said to Lincoln.
About 47 minutes later, the 2 were sleeping with the TV off. The 2 of them woke up in utter shock.
"Oh my god!" they said while getting off the couch. "What on earth?"
Neither of them could believe it.
"What happened?" Lincoln asked.
"We accidentally fell asleep," Clyde said.
"Man," Lincoln said. "I better get going before my sisters flip".
Clyde agreed on him leaving.
"Talk to you later," Clyde said.
"Not about this, right?" Lincoln asked.
"Never," Clyde said.
Before Lincoln could leave, the two of them said, "best show ever!"
Lincoln then left while Clyde closed the door trying to catch whatever breath he had left after that stress attack.
Around 12 noon, Clyde came over. Lincoln got shaken up again.
"Hello," they said to each other.
"What brings you over?" Lincoln asked.
"You left the Rugrats DVDs at my place," Clyde answered.
"Okay," Lincoln said. "You still coming to play with Jordan and Stella?"
"Yeah," Clyde said. "Listen, though. Before we go, I think we need to talk about before".
"No," Lincoln said. "No we don't".
"We do so," Clyde said. "Now, I don't know about you, but that was the best nap I ever had".
"I don't know what to say about that," Lincoln said.
"Admit it, Lincoln," Clyde said. "It was your best nap ever".
"I had better," Lincoln said.
"When?" Clyde asked.
"Alright, Clyde!" Lincoln said. "It was the best nap ever, but it's over, Clyde".
"I wanna do it again," Clyde said.
"It's too weird to do it again," Lincoln said.
"Fine," Clyde said.
"So," Lincoln said. "Wanna drink before we go?"
Clyde responded, "you got warm milk and excedrin PM?"
"Let's go," Lincoln said.
Over at Stella's house, the 4 of them were playing video games together.
"You're going down, Stella," Lincoln said.
"Not if I take you down first," Jordan said.
They were having so much fun. Clyde ended up winning that round.
"You're good," Lincoln said.
"Thanks," Clyde said.
While resting on Lincoln's lap, he then said, "now about before".
"No!" Lincoln said, getting up. "No! No! No thank you!"
"What happened?" Jordan asked.
"Nothing," Lincoln said. "I just don't like it when 2 boys act weird together".
The 4 of them decided to put the video games down and act out a little scene.
Unfortunately for Lincoln, the scene went like this.
"Stella, you're in bed with someone," Clyde said. "Someone is looking for you and your bed pal is still there. I'll be Stella, and Lincoln, you're my bed pal. Begin".
"No!" Lincoln said. "I told you, it's too weird!"
Jordan then asked, "do you want me to play Stella's bed pal?"
"Please do it," Lincoln said. "Whatever it takes to keep me a good distance away from Clyde for the time being".
Jordan went along with it, thus allowing the scene to get back on track. Lincoln was still stressing out a little. At around 2:12 pm, Lincoln and Clyde were walking down the street, probably heading back to Lincoln's house.
"Are you doing okay?" Clyde asked.
"Yeah," Lincoln said. "Sorry if I messed up that scene".
"You didn't mean it," Clyde said. "Man, that play date with Jordan and Stella took a lot out of me".
Lincoln wanted to know what Clyde was thinking.
Clyde told Lincoln, "I might head back to your crib and take a little nap on the couch".
"Why would I care about that?" Lincoln asked.
Clyde told him that's where he'll be. He then started walking a bit faster. After giving some thought, Lincoln decided to catch up with him. Back at Stella's crib, Jordan left a comment on the play date.
"That sure was one to remember," Jordan said.
"I know," Stella said. "Who knew Clyde would have what it takes to win 2 rounds?"
"Something about it just has me giggling," Jordan commented. "I'm gonna be giggling about that something all night if you know what I mean".
"Okay, you laugh now, Jordan," Stella replied. "Next time, it's going to be at your crib".
That ended the giggles. 2 hours later, Lincoln and Clyde were on the couch finishing their nap.
"Hey Clyde," Lincoln said. "Thanks for helping me learn not to let being a boy keep me from hanging with you. That was a great nap".
"No problem, Lincoln," Clyde said. "It sure was a great nap".
Little did they know, Stella, Jordan and Lincoln's sisters were watching.
"Ahem," one of Lincoln's sisters said.
The 2 boys looked over.
"What the butt are you doing, Lincoln?" Clyde said.
"Excuse me," Lincoln said softly before going upstairs.
As Clyde exited, he told the girls, "that's the last nap I have here for a while. Toodles".
Now that they know Lincoln and Clyde slept together, they all busted out laughing.
