While Illidan was busy fighting the demons, he didn't realize that Tyrande sent a scout to check on him. Instead of finding Illidan, the Infernals and Fel Reavers instead found the scout and chased her away. Outnumbered, the scout was forced to retreat, only being able to gather that Illidan attacked a position controlled by demons. Eventually, she was able to shake off the demons with her ability to hide herself under the night
"Priestess Tyrande." the scout said as she arrived at the Sentinel base, finding Tyrande and Malfurion making plans on defending the remaining uncorrupted areas
"Kor'vas? What is it?" Tyrande said as she recognized that the one who arrived was the one she sent out to check on Illidan
Kor'vas Bloodthorn was still catching her breath. Being chased by Infernals and Fel Reavers and evading them wasn't the easiest thing. "It's Illidan. He attacked the position that the Legion used to corrupt Felwood. I couldn't get close enough to help him as the Infernals suddenly came out and found me." she said as soon as she drank a bit of water
"What? Illidan attacked the demons on his own?" Malfurion said in complete surprise, shocked that his brother would do something so reckless, something he had hoped would change after being imprisoned
Tyrande had a worried look on her face. Illidan was alone, engaging an army of demons and it was because she freed him from his prison. "I will go and help him." she said, surprising everyone. "I am the one who set him free. I will not let him get killed all because we didn't trust him to fight for us."
"We shall both go. Despite everything, he is still my brother." Malfurion sighed and they quickly assembled a small group, leaving the base under the hands of Shandris Feathermoon
Their group quickly headed for Felwood and when they arrived they were surprised. Kor'vas led them to where she last saw Illidan. They did come across the Infernals and Fel Reavers that chased Kor'vas but this time, they had more numbers and were able to dispatch of them with only minimal injuries. Soon enough, they reached the site Kor'vas had said but all they found was an empty pedestal, multiple dead bodies of Doom Guards, Satyrs and broken Infernals
"He's gone." Tyrande said as she observed the surroundings
"From what I can tell, they haven't been dead for more than two hours." Malfurion guessed as he observed the dead bodies
"Priestess Tyrande, Arch Druid Malfurion." Kor'vas said as she was some distance away. The two, along with the rest of the group walked over to her and saw something that shocked them, more dead demon bodies, this time of Fel Guards and Succubi, a good distance away from them, along with a lot of burned or cut down trees
"More dead demons." Tyrande commented and tried to put together some clues on how they were killed. She noticed that the location was not a good position to hold and came to the conclusion that either the demons were corrupting this area or were travelling through it. As soon as they all investigated the Fel Guards, Tyrande noticed something. "Illidan did this." she said after getting a closer look
"Are you sure?" Malfurion asked in surprise
"How are you able to tell that?" another one from their group asked
"I'm familiar with his fighting style. Look, their heads and upper bodies were targetted. Illidan's fighting style is usually aimed with either the head or the neck. He shared it to me when Lord Ravencrest trained him how to hunt without using magic." Tyrande answered
"Still, it would seem that they were ambushed. We have no idea where Illidan is now." one of their group members commented
"We'll have to split up then. I don't think Illidan would have gotten too far. Send an owl to find us if you find anything." Tyrande ordered and everyone split up, with her and her lover sticking together
In the meantime, after Illidan slaughtered the first group of demons that went to check on the skull, he was able to get the information on where Tichondrius was and headed straight for the dreadlord. After about five minutes of hiding his presence, he finally came across Tichondrius, who was directing his forces on where to attack. He only had demons with him as their job was only to corrupt the forest and reduce the amount of territory the night elves can fall back to. All of the undead were with Archimonde in the main front, which they were engaging all of the night elves, humans and orcs in a different area
Eventually, a Doom Guard reported after still receiving no reports about the skull and the group sent to check it. Tichondrius was annoyed at his minions and decided to personally check and in the meantime, further advance deeper. As soon as he began to leave, the Fel and Doom Guards who were taking point were suddenly ambushed by a powerful demon, one which Tichondrius have never seen or met
"What? Who are... you?" Tichondrius asked in complete surprise as his other minions quickly attacked the new demon
"Let's see how confident you are against one of your own kind, Dreadlord." Illidan said as he almost effortlessly cut down the guards. Tichondrius quickly summoned a black sword to his hand while Illidan readied his. The two demons quickly clashed, blades clashing, claws swinging and even using their wings to gain an advantage
Tichondrius was the first one to go on the aggressive and brought down his sword right at Illidan's head, to which the demon hunter blocked with his off hand blade. The dreadlord quickly readied his claws. Since Illidan blocked with his left hand while Tichondrius' blade was on his right, the dreadlord slashed Illidan using his left hand but Illidan quickly broke the duel and forced Tichondrius' sword hand away, completely countering his slash
Illidan then went on the offensive with his right blade with a simple downward slash, Tichondrius quickly dodged it, barely, before Illidan swinged his left blade, inflicting a wound on the dreadlord's upper body. Tichondrius moved back, reeling from the wound before shooting a fire ball at the unknown demon. Illidan noticed this and quickly erected a fel shield to block the incoming attack but Tichondrius used this chance to inflict a wound from behind. Illidan was able to shrug it off and immediately kicked the dreadlord away
Using this chance, Tichondrius hid in the shadows, firing black bolts of energy which would slowly drain the life of whoever came into contact with. Unfortunately for him, Illidan wasn't an ordinary foe. The spell Tichondrius used also allowed him to move his location instantly in short distances while still hiding in the shadows. Illidan could clearly see his enemy's movements due to the new vision Sargeras gave him. Tichondrius was shocked that Illidan was able to see where he was whenever he fired one of the life draining energy bolts but he didn't stop as it forced Illidan on the defensive
While the two demons were fighting, Kor'vas noticed this and summoned an owl to alert Tyrande of her location. It didn't take long before Tyrande and Malfurion regrouped with her and they observed the battle, completely shocked at what Illidan had done. Kor'vas however, wasn't shocked that Illidan became a demon. In fact, she was more shocked that Illidan seemed to have defeated multiple demons on his own before engaging the dreadlord in an even match. The battle even seemed going in his favor as he was near effortlessly dodging the life draining bolts
Eventually, Illidan had enough and channeled a powerful fel shield around him, completely making the life draining bolts bounce off harmlessly before channeling his new found powers which forced Tichondrius back into the open. The dreadlord was surprised but nonetheless went on the offensive again and this time, managing to slash Illidan across his torso with his claws before running him through with his sword. This caused the demon hunter to drop one of his blades. Unwavering despite the injury, Illidan used this chance to use his free arm hold Tichondrius' and slice off the dreadlord's sword arm. The demon hunter then removed the sword that ran him through before throwing it at his opponent, hitting him in the chest. Deciding to finish this now, Illidan's body turned pitch black before firing off a powerful beam of fel energy from his eyes, which after a few seconds, caused a huge explosion
Illidan was then brought to his knees after that due to the wounds he received. He was still not that used to his new found powers and he was panting for breath. After a while, he heard someone approach and saw his brother, Tyrande and one of the Sentinels approach him
"Foul demon. What have you done with my brother?" Malfurion demanded to know while readying his staff
"It is I, Malfurion. I needed this power to take out the dreadlord's leader." Illidan said as he got up, making his blades vanish from his hands and his body returning to its pale purple color. "The leader of the dreadlords has been destroyed, the artifact they used to corrupt this area is gone and the forests will heal in time." he said, lying about what happened to the artifact but he knew they didn't believe him
"At the cost of your soul?" Malfurion demanded once more while Tyrande put her hands over her mouth once she realized what Illidan had done. "You are no brother of mine. Be gone from this place and never set foot in our lands again." he ordered
Illidan didn't have to listen to that. There was no way that Malfurion would be able to overpower him now, not with his new found strength although it will be difficult given his injuries. He merely stared at his brother for a few seconds before walking away, not even bothering to say anything. While he could quarrel with them about this, he didn't bother as the gunships, which he learned about from the demons he killed on his way to Tichondrius, still posed a major threat. Illidan didn't know if his brother knew about it or not but regardless, he decided to find the gunships and eliminate them
Tyrande could only watch with sadness, partly blaming herself for why Illidan had done that while Malfurion was both sad and furious that his brother would go this far to defeat his enemies. He truly believed that Illidan had gone mad. The only one who didn't share any of these emotions was Kor'vas, as she was the only one who found it somewhat inspiring to see someone drop that many demons with little to no effort and to go to this much lengths just to save the forest. She wondered why Malfurion and Tyrande didn't realize that Illidan did it for the sake of the night elves. They all soon left after that to prepare for the next battle
The next day
At the base of Mount Hyjal, defenses were being setup. The prophet had revealed his identity to all those that listened to him and convinced everyone to ally with each other against the Legion. They didn't really take much convincing as they were barely holding off the Legion on their own and if they continued fighting a two front war, the demons would just pick them off
In the human base, which was the first line of defense, Arthas, Kael, Sylvanas, Thrall, Cairne, Malfurion and Tyrande gathered, readying themselves for the brutal battle that is to come. While they were discussing, a blue circle suddenly appeared and Jaina teleported into the scene
"It's just as we feared. Archimonde and his minions are making their way up the mountain. All the other outposts have been completely destroyed. They will be here at any moment." Jaina said in a panic
"Ten thousand years ago, we night elves managed to defeat the Burning Legion but it came at a great cost. Most of the world was sunk beneath ocean." Malfurion commented before glancing at Tyrande. "Just like last time, if we are to win this battle, there will be a terrible price to pay."
"Jaina, what about the gunships? Are they using them?" Arthas asked after thinking about what the druid just said
"No. I did not see them being used since the Legion arrived. They just left them outside the forest." Jaina answered thoughtfully
"That's very strange. I would have thought that the demons would use that to full effect yet they're not using them." Thrall commented with a frown, wondering what was up
"Perhaps we should just be grateful they're only sending their ground forces at as." Arthas said
"No, he's right." Sylvanas interjected. "Those gunships were capable of raining down Infernals and completely destroying any defenses we setup. Either those ships have a limit or Archimonde wants them for something else."
Tyrande thought about this for a few seconds. Ten thousand years ago, the Legion didn't bring any gunships. They just poured through the Well of Eternity and attacked at random. "I wonder..."
Before anyone can asked what she was gonna say, someone suddenly called out
"Sister, everyone." Vereesa said as she came with Vol'jin, both of them slightly tired
"What is it, Vereesa?" Sylvanas said with concern
"It's da demons. Dey already be at da very base behind da small valleys. Dey will attack us soon enough." Vol'jin said as he was the first one to recover his breath. As soon as he said that, multiple Ghouls and Fel Guards suddenly attacked the human base
"We're under attack." one of the guards yelled and almost immediately, everyone rushed to fight off their attackers, which they succeeded
"Here me night elves!" a voice suddenly roared, and everyone instantly knew who it belonged to. "The time for reckoning has come." Archimonde finished
"You will have to hold him off for as long as you can. The valley's choke points should give you a slight edge but do not take on Archimonde on your own. He's far too powerful." Malfurion instructed and turned to leave
"Wait, so how are we supposed to beat him then?" Arthas asked with concern
"I will go to the summit and use the world tree's power to kill him but it will take me some time." Malfurion answered before transforming into a bird and flew to the summit
"Tyrande, you need to go to the orc's base and help prepare its defenses." Sylvanas suggested just as the next wave of undead arrived
"What? What about here?" Tyrande asked in surprise
"We don't have time. The undead are already here and it would be better if we prepared the orc and your bases." Kael said before everyone agreed
Tyrande fired a few arrows first at some Crypt Fiends before running back to higher elevation where the orcs were preparing more of their defenses
In the meantime, Archimonde was at the bottom of the mountain. He was well aware of how he could easily win this battle with the gunships but he chose not to. Partly because he wanted to savor this victory and personally kill Malfurion while partly also because of the night elves' tricks. The entire invasion force would be at risk if some stray night elf managed to infiltrate and take control of even one, which would be devastating for the Legion. At the same time, the eredar demon lord was certain that none of the night elves would even think or dare to try such a thing, none but one, Illidan Stormrage, the brother of his hated enemy
Illidan had built a reputation for himself as someone who doesn't care what it takes to defeat his enemy, which made him dangerous for both his allies and enemies. During the war, Illidan had assassinated multiple high ranking demons or Highborne, most notably, Azzinoth. Archimonde didn't know how he did it but Illidan was able to kill Azzinoth without even sending his soul back to the Twisting Nether. The only thing that was certain is that after Illidan had left the HIghborne, he began assassinating the demons and was very smart about it. This was also how he got the title of 'demon hunter' as nearly none of the demon's usual tricks would work due to Sargeras' gift. The only thing that Archimonde was certain of is that Illidan did not get that good due to the Moon Guard. Someone else had trained him and whoever that person is, had trained him very well
The amount of firepower the gunships possessed was a danger if used against them, something that Archimonde was well aware of and if Illidan found out about it, he would no doubt try to use it. He could have had the gunships fall back to Lordaeron but that would be too risky. While he was confident in his victory, he wanted to have a way to retreat if needed especially since Ner'zhul still played as a loyal dog and concerned about a potential sabotage. A few hours ago, he got a report that Tichondrius was killed and he suspected that Illidan had done the deed. It seems like the demon hunter has gained even more power since ten thousand years ago. What the eredar didn't know is that this was the sabotage all along
There was also another reason why the gunships have barely moved since their arrival. It uses more power to travel short distances than it would longer distances. The gunships were meant to transport troops once a world's magical barriers have been sufficiently weakened, allowing it to pass through unharmed. They were not designed for short distance travels at all. They were designed merely to spearhead any invasion to secure a foothold and allow more demons to pour through. This was made clear with how easily the gunships can level any city or base or anything similar with just a few barrage, which was further aided by the fact that the gunships can also fire rocks that will turn into Fel Reavers or Infernals. They also used souls as a power source and while the Legion had a lot to spare, it would take a toll if they used it every chance they got so instead, the gunships were merely relegated to spearheading purposes, then the demons would gather as many souls and use their enemy's souls to power the gunships once more. The Legion didn't see the need to modify the gunships to provide immediate support as in battle, most of the lesser demons just succumb to their desire to slaughter all life which would result in the Legion needlessly killing their own troops, something Archimonde found counter productive despite his usual habit of killing minions whenever he gets pissed off
Regardless of what he thought, Archimonde focused on the battle at hand. The lower areas of Mount Hyjal formed some little valleys, which made the path to the summit a narrow chokepoint, which is why he decided not to send all of his forces on a single assault as to avoid any traps, especially since night elves love their trees. This did make the battle more difficult for them as he had no choice but to sent the weaker minions like Ghouls and Fel Guards first otherwise he might lose his more powerful ones. While they were only barely doing damage due to lesser minions, Azgalor and Rage WInterchill were at the choke points, making a thorough search for any potential traps. It wasn't easy as many rangers, both night and high elven, were stationed there and they actually had to fight for the position
Eventually, more powerful minions like Abominations and Doom Guards joined the fray and forced the rangers out after a few minutes of fighting. The fighting was so intense that they managed to injure Sylvanas while Vereesa was nearly killed. Luckily for them, Shandris was able to get them to safety where Arthas treated them. It took the demons a few more minutes of casting their own spells to dispel any traps. As soon as they were done, Archimonde himself joined the fray, flinging powerful spells across the battle field before instantly blowing up half the human base with just a way of his hand
"Retreat. Everyone retreat." Arthas yelled as soon as half the base was destroyed. Everyone quickly retreated while Jaina teleported the injured rangers to the night elves' base, where the moon wells could heal them
When they began their retreat, Anetheron and Kazzak burst into the base, slaughtering those who were lagging behind. They were about to give chase but burning rocks rained upon them. The demons looked where it came from and saw orc catapults from a higher elevation
"Send the Frost Wyrms! Destroy those catapults!" Azgalor yelled, knowing that those catapults will cause some problems if left unchecked for very long
Frost Wyrms, Gargoyles, Fel Bats and even Succubi flew in great numbers to attack the catapults. Unfortunately, they were met with some flyers from the united races, rangers rode Hippogryphs and orcs riding wyverns and even trolls throwing their melee weapons or using bows along with more rangers and riflemen fought them off, leading it to a stalemate and ensuring that the catapults would bombard them for as long as they stand. However, this wouldn't last long as more Fel Bats were seen flying at very high speeds from where the gunships came from
It took them nearly twenty minutes of fighting before the catapults were finally broken. There were a lot of demons and undead that made it through but this chokepoint was even narrower than the first one and they got slaughtered right before they reached the orc base. When the catapults were eventually destroyed, the Legion launched the attack on the orc base. Unfortunately, Tyrande was there and channeled the power of Elune, raining down stars which got rid with of a lot of demons
This battle was even more brutal than the one earlier due to the how it having had more time to prepare. Kael and Arthas, despite them not being actual friends, were forced to fight back to back when the demons were finally able to breach. Jaina teleported Shandris, Rokhan and Vol'jin along with a few Taurens behind enemy lines to take out the necromancers, which would otherwise keep raising those who have fallen and eventually overrun them. They did succeed but it came at a cost as Azgalor was able to run Jaina through when their group was distracted. They were about to get slaughted until Rhonin pulled them back, having prepared for such an eventuality
It eventually reached the pont where Rage Winterchill was killed by the combined efforts of Tyrande and Rhonin, as the lich was the first commander to breach the base. He caused a lot of destruction by freezing many united troops but Rhonin was able to cast a fire spell which distracted him to which Tyrande shot an enchanted arrow at the lich, burning a hole right through him. This pissed off the lich and he casted a sleep spell on Tyrande, knocking her unconscious. Just as he was about to cast death and decay at them, Kael suddenly run him through with Felo'melorn before burning him to ashes
Just when they thought that they had a few minutes break, Kazzak suddenly came and slashed Kael across his torso before throwing him into a tree, instantly knocking him out of the battle. Rhonin forced his last remains of mana to teleport Tyrande and Kael back to the night elf base, their last line of defense, as she was still unconscious
Kazzak quickly stormed through the base, easily making it through due to Winterchill's initial assault and began slaughtering the humans and orcs. He was able to kill about a third of the defenders before a hammer was suddenly thrown at his face. He shrugged it off but was kicked in the back by Arthas, who took him on along with Thrall while Cairne, Vol'jin and Rokhan, along with a few reinforcements, took on the incoming wave
Kazzak quickly got up and did a slash, nearly cutting Thrall in half but was saved when Arthas managed to block it despite being knocked back. Thrall counted this with a swing of his hammer and knocked the doom guard right back. It soon became clear after a while of fighting that Kazzak would overpower both Thrall and Arthas as both of them were badly bleeding but a poisoned arrow from Shandris distracted and weakened Kazzak, which Arthas quickly took advantage of by delivering a hard smash of his hammer and threw the doom guard into a wall. Thrall quickly finished him off with a lightning bolt
Meanwhile, Cairne, Vol'jin and Rokhan were suddenly forced back, their bodies nearly having large holes as Azgalor was leading the next wave. With all the injuries they received and nearly everyone in the orc base dead, they retreated. Arthas was furious when he saw Jaina unconscious, clearly injured by the Legion
"Arthas, don't." Thrall said as the paladin was about to do something reckless
Arthas muttered curses at first before deciding to heal his lover first. Almost immediately, Anetheron suddenly popped into the night elf base from the trees, having snuck his way through in the chaos
"Look out!" Shandris said as she pushed Thrall out of they way, who would have been hit by a powerful lightning bolt otherwise. Instead, she was the one that got hit and she was badly burned by the attack
Tyrande, who woke up after the sleep spell wore off, was horrified at this and quickly used her magics to attack, but Anetheron came prepared when a group of Banshees revealed themselves and cast a powerful anti magic shell around him, completely negating her attacks
Arthas, Rhonin, Thrall and Cairne quickly moved to attack the dreadlord but the tauren lost one of his limbs when Anetheron simply slashed him aside, taking full advantage of his injured opponent while nearly killing him. Rhonin was barely able to do anything due to the anti magic shell and was removed from the fight when Anetheron cast a sleep spell on him. A few Doom Guards attempted to kill him but Thrall and Arthas quickly defended him
Just as Anetheron was about to send a horde of bats at his enemies, he was suddenly entangled by vines and his minions were attacked when the trees came to life, killing the banshees, necromancers and eredar warlocks. The warlocks were able to fend them off but Malfurion summoned a whole lot of them and were overwhelmed. When they were all dead, Anetheron was forced to retreat, his attack merely to distract their enemies so that the necromancers that were with Archimonde could replenish their ranks. Or so they thought, as Malfurion summoned a healing rain, which restored his allies' energy to an extent, except Anetheron suddenly appeared and attacked
They thought the dreadlord retreated but in reality, he just hid in the shadows. Before he could kill Malfurion, someone tackled him and they crashed into a tower erected by the humans and orcs, destroying it and the two ended up rolling. Anetheron's attacker was one that surprised everyone who was conscious. The dreadlord didn't realize who his attacker was as all he knew is that he looked like a night elf but with demonic qualities
"Who are you?" Anetheron demanded to know but Illidan quickly fired a lightning bolt at him. The dreadlord was hit right in the chest and knocked back. The demon hunter quickly took advantage of this and kicked Anetheron, knocking him to the ground. He didn't let the dreadlord recover as he stepped on his arm, causing pain to the dreadlord before ripping off one of his clawed talons and running the dreadlord right in the head, killing him
Everyone was in shock at what happened. Except for Tyrande and Malfurion, despite what happened the last time they met, they were relieved that Illidan came
"Are you trying to use the well's power to destroy Archimonde?" Illidan asked, going straight to the point. By now, everyone conscious lowered their weapons, including Sylvanas and Vereesa who had recovered but not by much
"Yes. It's very difficult. It's almost as if the well's power cannot be manipulated." Malfurion answered, draining the color of everyone's face as all the time they bought was all for naught. "This is the end, brother, for all of us."
"You won't be able to use the well's power, not in the way you want to." Illidan said and surprised Malfurion but at the same time, making them lose their hope. Suddenly, Illidan put out his hand and a spherical orb appeared. It was mostly a blue orb with red and purple runes, all three colors in a very bright shade while purple energy lightly swirling around it. "Use this." he said and tossed it to his brother. "This orb was made from the Well of Eternity itself, meant to use its powers when needed."
"Wait, I've never heard of this before." Malfurion responded just as a few Fel Guards began their attack. They both looked at the base's entrance before Illidan unleashed a chain lightning spell, instantly killing the Fel Guards
"I will explain that later. You need to go now. Put the orb in the well itself and it will allow you to use its energies, including using them to summon the ancient spirits and use their power to kill Archimonde." Illidan said but then frowned. "It will still take you about just short half an hour before it can be completed."
"What? I don't think we can hold them off that long." Tyrande said as the next wave was incoming
Illidan didn't bother to respond to this and summoned a blade to one of his hands. What surprised everyone is that this wasn't the Twin Blades. It looked like a thin sword, almost like a hybrid of a katana and Falchion sword with a curved tip and a longer handle, in the same color as the Blades of Azzinoth, both the blade and the handle
"Wait, you're not seriously going to take them all on yourself are you?" Tyrande asked in worry
"We have no choice. None of you are in any fighting shape so just try to heal your injuries as much as you can." Illidan said before raising his free hand, causing the sky to darken. When he viciously brought it down, multiple lightning bolts struck down, just in time as the next wave of demons arrived, killing nearly every single one. He looked back at Tyrande, who was worried sick at his recklessness but the demon hunter merely nodded at her before flying straight into the enemy's teeth
Here, it was mostly the battle between Tichondrius and Illidan along with the changed Battle for Mount Hyjal. So, yeah. In the next chapter will probably be the end of the prologue arc along with what I changed about Illidan. And lastly, there is gonna be some slight romance in here. Not in the sense where there will be chapters dedicated to two characters making out and screwing each other but more along the lines of just flirting or teasing. Warcraft is one of the games that I enjoyed a lot and the Arthas / Jaina thing was something I was a fan of so I'm not really gonna change that. Also, the second reason why I'm adding a bit of romance despite me not being a fan of it, is because Warcraft has some already established romance like Arthas and Jaina or Vereesa and Rhonin. Illidan isn't gonna be something like Tyrande's dog where he would just obey her because he cares for her
Oh and yeah, I somewhat based this to be like the Warcraft III final mission because it was one of the most challenging for me so I didn't want to change it too much. Also, that lightning spell at the very end Illidan used, I got that idea from the TfT intro when Illidan summoned the naga. If he could do that willy nilly so why not use it when there are actual targets
The thing about the gunships is also something I just made up. In this story, I made it that the lesser demons like Fel Guards are similar to the Fel Orcs where they have a bloodlust. I'm not sure if that's true but that's how it's gonna be in this story. That reason might seem stupid but I'm sure even Archimonde would realize that he would run out of minions if they die to the gunships. I'm not so sure if it is that far from the canon ships since they're mostly just floating in one area and raining down destruction in Legion
I did introduce Kor'vas Bloodthorn in this chapter. I'm not gonna delve that deep into her backstory, nor for the other demon hunters for that matter. What I will be doing instead, is how each of the demon hunters ended up following Illidan. Finally, for the next few chapters, there will be a lot of ambushes
That's about it for now. The next chapter or two will close out the prologue arc and begin what I am planning for this story
