A/N: I do not own Teen Titans. It is owned by DC and/or Glen Murakami. I only claim ownership of the OC Ian. This statement blankets the entire story. Now that that is out of the way, on to the story!

LEGEND:

"talking"

"thinking"

Ian woke up in a bed he was unfamiliar with, in a room he didn't recognize. Getting up, he walked into the adjacent room and found a small kitchen, a bathroom, and a den. "Where am I?" he asked no one in particular. Walking into the bathroom, he found a mirror, and looked at himself, finding no black eye, and no bloody lip. Noticing his hair was now down to his shoulders with some of it covering one eye and was now black rather than brown, he sighed and washed his face.

"Odd… I never styled my hair..." he muttered while examining the hairstyle, liking what he saw for some reason. Making his way to the kitchen, he opened the pantry and fridge to find them empty. "Well that figures..." he frowned. "No video games… no computers, no TV and no food. What the hell is going on?"

Heading outside, he found nothing he recognized. "it's like I am in a different city..." he said to himself, watching people pass by on the street. Turning around he noticed the Titan's Tower standing proudly in the bay. His jaw dropped.

"This can't be real..." he breathed as he looked at the giant T in the distance. He was so distracted he didn't see the slab of concrete hurtling toward him until dark energy surrounded it and it stopped in midair. Watching the blue cloaked figure smash the cement against the monster from the Teen Titans finale, he shouted "That won't work!" before he could think.

"Wha- Who are you?" she asked before the monster retaliated by absorbing the concrete and punching the distracted Titan into a nearby wall. Ian ran over as she hit the brick wall adjacent to him. "You okay?" he asked the Dark Titan.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" she shouted bringing up a necromantic shield as he almost got attacked again. "Get out of here! you'll get hurt!" she said as she flew towards the creature. Cyborg shot it with his sonic canon only to have it regenerate. "Does anybody know how to take this thing down? And where's BB?"

"Right here!" Beast Boy yelled, running up to the group. Ian noted that he seemed disheartened, but was still willing to put up a fight. Morphing into a T-rex and Charging, He ended the fight rather quickly by ripping into the creature's face with his jaws, causing it to deteriorate into a puddle with the face revealing wires and cogs. Robin walked over and examined the thing. "So we just needed to dismantle its head?"

Cyborg shouted out a "Booyah!" while Starfire exclaimed, "Glorious! Beast Boy, how did you find the creature's spot of being weak?"

While panting, Beast Boy replied with, "its head was the only thing that had a scent no matter what form it took."

Ian stood there, eyes wide as he watched all of this, and Raven remembered what she had heard their onlooker shout earlier. Walking over to him, she asked, "how did you know what wouldn't work on that thing? I haven't seen you around Jump before, either. Who are you?"

Ian thought for a moment. He couldn't just say he thought he was from another dimension... BUT that was the conclusion he had come to after seeing all of this happen.

"The name's Ian. You sure you've never seen me?" he asked, playing dumb. Raven narrowed her eyes. There was something strange about this kid, but she couldn't place it. Ian noticed her eyes narrowing and started to panic. He knew about them, knew every episode they had been in, and also knew he had been thrown into the … LAST EPISODE? but… that meant he knew absolutely nothing about what they would face! Wait a minute… why did he care? He was just a normal teen. There wasn't anything he could do at this point.

"We should probably head back home." Robin said to his team. Ian took that as his cue to go back to what had been bugging him before. No food. His stomach gave this away as soon as he thought that, and Starfire smiled, flying over, "You have made the sound of hunger! Please to be joining us, friend Ian?" She asked. Ian smiled, "I um… don't have any money..." he verbalized his realization. Beast Boy smiled, "Don't worry about that dude! We can pay for it! Come on! I know a great pizza place just around the corner!"

Ian's emotion at that moment could only be described as unbridled joy. Raven, being an empath, was having a hard time keeping her emotions in check due to the sheer amount of happiness in the air. Ian was ecstatic. Pizza with the Teen Titans? He smiled and answered them with, "Well, That's an offer I can't refuse!"

Starfire giggled and flew towards the pizzeria that the Titans frequented. Once everyone sat down, Ian smirked and decided he'd play some mind games. Right as Starfire opened her mouth before she said anything, he said, "My name is Ian. I came from the next block over, got there by being born, my favorite color is purple, and yes, I would be honored to be your friend."

Cue all the Titans jaws dropping.

"How did you know the questions which I wished to ask you, new friend Ian?" Starfire asked once they all recovered from the shock. Ian smiled, "That would be telling, wouldn't it?"

"Dude, isn't it obvious? he's telepathic!" Beast Boy said, sounding smart for once, and making Ian realize why he shouldn't have played the "I know you guys" card so quickly. Cyborg smiled. "Oh man, this should be fun! what's BB thinking?"

"That we should get tofu on our pizza." Ian said, remembering all the food-related arguments the two Titans had had in the past. BB huffed. Cyborg laughed, "He got you good, grass stain!"

Ian frowned, hoping they wouldn't see through his ruse too soon. "Any of you ever had olive oil, garlic and basil on a pizza?"

Robin shook his head. "Do they even serve that here? Sounds fancy." Ian smiled and told the waiter to get said pizza toppings on one for the Titans to try. When it came out, Cyborg looked at it and said, "Well at least it ain't tofu." before taking a bite and nearly eating the entire slice at once. BB laughed, "Who knew Cyborg would ever eat a veggie pizza?"

"Wait! That was veggie?" Cyborg looked horrified as Beast Boy laughed at his expression.

Raven asked Ian a question then. "So Ian, where do you live here in Jump?"

Ian gave it some thought and decided he couldn't just say he lived in the house he woke up in this morning, so he shifted in his chair and didn't answer her. "Dude?" BB prompted, Cyborg put a hand on BB's shoulder as Robin made an educated guess. "You're homeless, aren't you Ian?" he said, a hint of sadness for the poor boy at the table. Ian decided he wouldn't deny that since he couldn't exactly remember how to get 'home', or whatever building he had woken up in. He sighed and said, "Yeah… you guys really made my day. Sorry I had to disappoint all of you..."

Getting up and walking away from the table, he was stopped by a pink-haired girl and a boy in a red and yellow jumpsuit speeding through the door. "Sorry we're late! who's the new guy?" Kid Flash asked as he grabbed a slice of pizza and set down his girlfriend in one fluid motion.

"I was just leavi-" Ian started, but before he finished his sentence, Raven simply said, "We have a few extra rooms, you know… if he could get a job, I'm sure we could help Ian until he gets back on his feet. If he's telepathic that would be useful too."

Ian was shocked. The Dark Titan had just basically invited him to live with them! Thank whatever deity was out there that he had his back to them. He regained his composure before turning to face them and almost burst out laughing. All four of the other members of the Titans, accompanied by the two honorary members, were looking at Raven like she was crazy. Ian's joy must have been evident, because Raven quickly added, "JUST until you are back out with a sustainable income, and a normal home."

He nodded. "That's fair," he said. What he was thinking was, "As if!"

Kid Flash and Jinx sat down and Raven moved over to allow there to be room for Ian and the two new arrivals. KF took a few slices and, stuffing his face, said, "Telepathy huh? What am I thinking?"

Ian smirked, remembering something from the show young justice, and decided to alter the information a bit so it sounded plausible, "Several things a second so I can't keep up with you. Mostly ridiculously irrelevant stuff like the last 4 year's baseball scores and stuff like that to trip me up? Did I come anywhere close?"

Kid Flash stopped chewing. "How did you know I would do that?"

Ian smirked, "Again, that would be telling."

As the group kept asking Ian to tell them things about themselves, he simply recounted past episode segments, thanking the heavens for all those hours researching and watching the Teen Titans TV show.

After they ate he was once again tempted to leave the Team to going back to their tower without him, but Cyborg practically dragged him into the T car. Ian only had one thought upon seeing that vehicle.

"This car is 5000 times more awesome in person!"

"See ya' at the tower!" Kid Flash said, picking up his girlfriend and speeding over the bay.

A/N: I know I said there was a schedule, but just a three-paragraph prologue didn't feel very good. Feel free to R&R my valued readers! as I normally don't write original content not following a worlds plot, I would love to hear your opinions on my work!
