A/N: This chapter is one of the reasons this story is rated T. there is dismemberment in this chapter. Don't like, don't read. You have been warned.

When they got to Titan's Tower, Ian felt rather minuscule. "This is so much bigger than I thought..." he said out loud. Kid Flash laughed, "Says the telepathic kid who knows all of our life stories just by looking at us."

Ian frowned. How long could he keep this up? It was only a matter of time before he ran out of clever lies and backstories. Besides, he didn't want them to hate him or treat him differently because he didn't have powers…

Ian noticed Beast Boy heading to his room, and remembered how heartbroken the changeling was when he found out Terra was either in denial or simply lost her memory and powers. Deciding that was best left alone for now, Ian asked Robin, "So what room should I use while I'm here?"

Robin lead him to a room in the Tower that looked plain and untouched. Looking at Ian, he said, "We usually let our guests decorate their rooms with their own style, but seeing as you haven't got any possessions..."

"Ian sighed. "Yeah, I understand. I can't decorate with air. Thanks though. This means a lot to me."

Lying down on the bed, he had nearly drifted off to sleep when he heard a knock at the door. "Come in," he said as he got up. To his surprise it was Raven at his door, looking rather determined if you knew what to look for in her near-emotionless stare. "Can I help you?" he asked her.

Raven simply said, "You're not a telepath, so what are you?"

Ian froze up. How did she figure it out? When did she figure it out? "Excuse me?" he asked.

"You don't have superpowers. I knew the moment we started talking at the Pizza place, but there's something odd going on, and I wanted to find out what." Raven deadpanned.

Ian sighed. "So you invited me to stay just so we could have this conversation?" he asked. She once again surprised him by shaking her head. "Not just that. But it would be nice to know the truth, even if you don't tell the others."

"Ian looked down the hallway cautiously both left and right before saying, "I think I came from a different dimension."

Raven nodded and asked, "And you know all of us because?"

Ian gulped, "You were part of a TV series." he finally said, hoping to whatever god this universe had that she wouldn't cast him into hell for that. Raven just nodded. "Thank you for telling me, Ian. If you want to join us, the rest of us are watching a movie."

Ian smiled, "Thanks. I was afraid you were going to kick me out."

Raven shrugged, "Dimensional wormholes have happened before. It's nothing new. Besides, I know you never planned on leaving. You seemed too happy when I made my offer."

"Ian smiled and said, "Nothing gets past you does it?"

As they walked to the main room to watch the movie, Ian kept thinking about how kind Raven had been when she found out before he even realized it. As the door to the ops room opened, Beast Boy yelled, "Dudes! The movie's about to start!"

"Halfway through the movie, however, Ian found himself extremely tired for some reason. Leaning over on the back of the couch, he dozed off, and the rest of the gang finished the movie, which had been an action-adventure film. After they discussed it for a while, they all noticed Ian was sound asleep, leaning on Raven's shoulder.

"Jeez… he must have been exhausted to sleep during a movie like this one!" Cyborg said. BB smirked, "Cy! Get the camera!" He said excitedly, planning to blackmail Ian. Raven's extra pair of eyes appeared. "Do so and I leave you in a dimension with Trigon," she said as she slowly got up and Ian moved in his sleep, oblivious to what was going on. Robin decided to let him sleep since none of the team knew how long it had been since he had slept at all. The crime detector went off at that moment, and Robin went over to the computer.

"Holy-This is bad!"

"What is it?" Starfire asked. Robin turned to the team, "Terra. She's actually back… albeit as a schoolgirl, but she attracted unwanted attention. VERY unwanted attention. Titans GO!"

"How unwanted?" Kid Flash asked.

Robin pulled up footage that the city's network of cameras had picked up.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Oh god… not him!" KF got out as they all heard the Joker's chilling laugh.

Raven was of a different opinion. "Let's go get our friend back."

"As they left, Ian opened his eyes to see Terra chained to a chair on the screen, gagged, crying, and a certain green-haired psychopath taunting her. "Well that's about the worst way to wake up ever," he said to the empty room. Looking around, he walked up to the computer and decided he could at least help out remotely. He pulled up a mic on the ops room computer desk.

"I wonder if I can..." his fingers sped across the ops keyboard.

Thanks to his favorite hobby back home(hacking video games and software) which was second only to watching Teen Titans, in a matter of moments he figured out how to tap into their communicators and started to talk into it. "Guys, it's the Joker. Maybe Batman should handle-"

"It's TERRA! We don't leave friends behind! Especially not with him!" Beast Boy shouted angrily.

"Okay, then here's what we're gonna do. Let BB beat the shit out of that green and white freak!" Ian smirked.

"You sure he won't need backup?" Jinx asked as she and KF zoomed towards the building where Terra was being held hostage.

"Like he said. It's Terra." Ian smirked even though they couldn't see it.

=With Terra and the Joker=

"Say hi for the camera!" Joker smirked as Terra sobbed. She was still powerless and had no memories of being a Titan, so this was scaring her a lot more than it would have had she had powers.

"I hear you and Salsa Verde were a couple! I wonder how much your green friend will like you… if you're missing an arm! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The Joker laughed as he grabbed a chainsaw and Terra's shrieks filled the air as he proceeded to remove her left arm with the item in question.

A loud roar filled the air as a gorilla leaped into the room and attacked the Joker, who kept laughing as he was repeatedly pummeled. "Beast Boy! STOP! he'll die at this rate!"

BB morphed back to a human and the Joker's bloodied smile widened. "So even the Bat's cleanup crew doesn't have any bal-" he started before BB knocked him unconscious. BB ran over and undid Terra's gag, who was sobbing even harder now that she was minus a limb. "Why did he attack me?" she managed to ask.

BB frowned, "Because he still thinks you are a Titan, just like I do."

Robin walked over and asked, "The question is… why would the Joker be this far from Gotham, and how did he know about Terra?"

Ian was watching the cameras with shock, but managed to say, "Get her to the med bay before she bleeds out!"

The Titans had no disagreements with that statement.

As they drove back to the tower(right after calling Batman and having him apprehend the Joker), Beast Boy kept encouraging Terra to stay awake. She smiled, but it was still with a lot of effort. "Why would you save me? I'm not a Titan… I haven't done anything to deserve this..." she said. This came as a shock to everyone but Beast Boy. Ian, who was still listening via the communicators, wisely chose to say nothing. He figured it would be better for Beast Boy to be the one to comfort the now-one-armed former Titan. Beast Boy put a hand on Terra's shoulder(the one with an arm still attached). "We'll figure this out. You can stay at the Tower for protection just in case anyone else is after you." he offered.

She didn't answer.

"Cy! She passed out! Step on it!" Beast Boy shouted worriedly. Cy floored it and Terra was rushed to the med bay. Ian wasn't sure what to do, but he knew Terra was either suppressing memories or ignoring them… either way, it was up to her to remember, and he knew they couldn't force the process.

"So how is she doing?" He asked as the Titans walked out of the med bay. Ian had opted not to go in there just yet as Terra didn't know him at all.

Robin looked frustrated. "She doesn't recognize any of us!" he said.

Starfire looked sad. "She did not remember me or anything about my cooking."

Cyborg sighed, "She doesn't know anything about her powers either! BB won't leave her side. He keeps blaming himself for all of this."

They all turned to Ian, "You're the telepath! See if you can figure this out! You can do something, right?"

Ian paled. This was not going to end well. Raven saw this and quickly said, "I can try something, but I need Ian's help, and we need to be alone with Terra."

Robin shook his head, "Alright, but good luck getting BB to leave her side."

As Raven ushered Ian into the med bay where Terra was, he asked her, "What do I need to do? I don't have any-"

"I know," Raven said.

"Then why did you-" he started.

"Did you want your cover blown so soon?" She asked as they entered the room. He couldn't argue with that.

"Who's this?" Terra asked as they both walked in. "This is Ian. he's also suffering something similar to you, so I figured he could help me." Raven said in a monotone. Ian looked at her and exclaimed, "What! I never said tha-"

Raven interrupted him. "Terra, would you be okay with Ian and Beast Boy entering your mind to try and find out where your powers and memories went?"

"For the last time, I am NOT a Titan!"

"Then where have you been before high school?" BB prompted, having been too distraught to notice the conversation about Ian's "cover", he seemed to at least hear what was said about Terra. Terra opened her mouth to reply, then shut it. "I… don't know..." she finally said. BB smirked, "Believe me, it's not just amnesia."

Terra turned to Raven, "Will it hurt?"

"Depends on what I need to do to get the memories to show themselves," Raven answered her truthfully. Terra stiffened but finally said, "Fine. I can tell it means a lot to Beast Boy, so I can't really say no. Of course, if I am really his girlfriend, then 'No' would be an insult."

Ian shifted his feet, "I still don't see why I am here."

Raven half-smiled with a subtle mischievous expression. "Because you are the one who knows where to look. I was never on good terms with Terra for very long anyway!" she pushed Ian and Beast Boy forward while chanting her mantra and they found themselves falling into Terra… literally. Ian looked back in shock as his body hit the floor. His astral projection entered Terra's mind and he found himself in a rocky canyon reminiscent of the one where the Titans first met Terra.

"Since when can Raven pull a stunt like astral projections?" Ian asked a little freaked out.

"Dude! I remember where we are!" Beast Boy said joyfully, ignoring Ian's prior question.

Then they saw the giant scorpion.

"Shit." Ian breathed.

A/N: Almost every review I got was asking to give Ian some kind of superpowers. that will happen later, don't worry. R&R, and see you next week!
