A/N: Felt like posting an early chapter. Also, I know several reviews asked for a Stepphanwolf look for Ian. Stepphanwolf is a Darkseid sent villain, and also more of a Justice League villain. I don't want to take too much from a villain the Titans don't really have too much to do with, so that doesn't seem likely.

LEGEND:

"Talking."

"Thinking."

Running for his life in the mind of a former Titan trying (and failing) to figure out what to do to survive… not how he wanted this day to go. Suddenly Ian saw a boulder shift and fall on top of the creature, and a voice yelled, "Yo! I haven't seen anyone here besides myself before. Who's the normal kid, and where are the rest of the Titans?"

Ian stopped to wipe his brow. "name's Ian. What are you doing?"

Terra(the Titan version of Terra) laughed, "Saving your sorry butt from being scorpion food. So why are you in the desert anyway?"

Ian was about to say something, but Beast Boy shouted, "TERRA!" joyfully and turned into a peregrine falcon, flying up to her and then morphing back to a human midair and landing next to her.

"Yo BB! So why aren't you guys at the Tower?" she asked him.

"We are! You sort of don't remember anything… we're in your head right now!" Beast Boy said excitedly.

Ian face-palmed. "Could you be any less subtle?" he asked the air in annoyance.

Terra on the other hand frowned. "Great! Just great. So assuming you really are BB and not some hallucination I made from not seeing you in so long… that stuff with Slade-"

"Doesn't matter." BB interrupted her. "Terra, we care more about you as a Titan, and a true friend, than we care about anything that happened back then."

Terra looked at the changeling with a sad expression, "What about Robin? Raven even? She must hate me!"

Ian gave a sympathetic look to Terra, and said, "Raven was the first one to voice her opinion of you when we rescued you earlier today. Her exact words were "Let's go get our friend back!"

BB looked surprised, "Weren't you asleep for that?" he asked.

Ian shrugged, "I was awake as soon as the crime alert went off."

Terra looked relieved. "That still doesn't explain how to get my subconscious self out of here though." She looked around.

BB looked up for a moment, then suddenly shouted, "WE FOUND HER RAVEN!"

A black, well that is to say necromantic, raven shaped shadow began to consume the area around the three of them, and they soon found themselves back in Titan's Tower, in their astral projections. "Everyone alri-WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY ARM?" Terra screamed once they were all forcibly yanked to the material plane again.

BB shrank back, "Well umm y'see… funny story… we-"

Terra looked at him, "Being minus an arm isn't funny."

Ian cracked up. "Sorry-haha-sorry, It's just that you always found BB hilarious, and the first thing you said when you came back was he wasn't funny!"

"And how would you know what I found funny?" Terra asked.

"He's got telepathy." BB offered.

Raven had a small smile on her lips at the realization that from Ian's perspective this was hilarious due to his knowledge of the Titans. In an attempt to make sure Terra wouldn't keep freaking out, she said, "The Joker dismembered your arm before we could get you free. I bet you can use your Geomancer powers to make a limb that can mutate into different weapons if you tried, though."

Terra blinked. "That might actually work..." And within minutes there was a limb made of rocks and malleable earth where her original one used to be. "I wasn't expecting that. So cool!" she marveled as she morphed it into several different shapes with her powers, BB gushing with oooohs and ahhhhs as she did so.

Ian felt even more out of place now. "Great… back to being the secret freeloader." He thought.

Raven took note that his emotions had plummeted. "Ian, can I talk to you for a moment?" she asked him. Ian nodded and followed her as the other Titans entered the room and re-welcomed Terra to the team, Star, Robin, KF, Jinx and Cyborg surprised at the arm made of earth.

=Outside the med bay=

"Spill." Raven stated rather than asked once they were in the hall. Ian looked at her with a "what did I do?" look. She sighed. "Your emotions betray more than you think. If you really trusted the team to treat you well once your secret gets out, you would come up with a plan so they didn't have an excuse to get rid of you."

"Did you just give me deception advice?" Ian smiled. Raven didn't say anything, but it was clear she wasn't denying it. "Well… I have a few ideas, but some of them require money. Wayne-esque. Money."

Raven frowned. It was clear she was considering talking to Bruce later. Considering her… Unique… powers, she knew Bruce Wayne was Batman and also knew Robin knew and didn't tell the rest of the team when she found out. "I'll assume you want to build something to help you fight crime that is from your dimension?"

"Mayyyyybe!" Ian had a grin on his face. "technically it's not from my dimension either. Cyborg would help me, right? It IS technology I am dealing with after all."

Raven sighed. This was not going to end well for Ian if he couldn't think of a better reason to be staying than, "Look at all the money we wasted if I leave!" "Any better ideas?" she asked. Ian nodded. "Actually, yes. I was wondering if you'd go out with me?" he had a lopsided grin on his face as Raven's eyes widened. Ian kept the grin on his face. "Think about it. If we're dating, why would they throw me out?"

In a flash of dark energy, Raven disappeared. Ian stopped smiling. "Raven?" He asked as the others stepped out of the med bay. BB frowned. "Dude, what did you say to her to make her leave like that? If it were me I'd be in the harbor but-"

Ian couldn't find his words for a moment. "I-I didn't say anything..." He lied as he stormed off to his room. The four boys looked at each other. Robin frowned. "Star, Terra, Jinx, go talk to Raven. We'll see if we can't calm Ian down. Telepathic power is dangerous to those who wield it when not controlled… or so I've heard."

Star, Jinx and Terra nodded. "We will do the girl talking." Star said as they all went to the two rooms. Terra smiled, glad that they were all so accepting of her. She couldn't say she fully trusted Jinx, but then again, Jinx as one of the good guys was new to her.
