"Raven? Raven we wish to come in now! Raven?" Starfire said, knocking on the door. Raven didn't answer. Jinx frowned. "Rae? You in there?" she asked, using her hexes to unlock the door and open it. Raven was in the middle of the room meditating. She opened an eye. "Oh… it's just you," she said, an ever so slightly relieved tone evident to at least Terra and Jinx.

"Jeez Rae… What did Ian say that's got you so worked up?" Jinx asked. Raven's eyes slightly widened before she went back to her emotionless self. "Nothing." She lied. Terra sighed. "Then why are you in your room meditating? Are you really that desperate to shut us out? We won't tell the boys! Promise!"

Raven took a deep calming breath. Starfire seemed to be the only one not pressing the issue. In fact, she hadn't even entered Raven's room out of respect for the 'No one enters my room' rule. Raven actually looked over at Star. "Come in, now."

"But-" Starfire started.

"Do you want the truth or not?" Raven asked. Star nodded and hesitantly flew in. Raven levitated over to the door and shut and locked it with her key code. Turning to the other girls, she exhaled. "Well here goes nothing..." She thought.

"He asked me if… I would go on a date with him..." she said. Starfire gasped, Jinx raised an eyebrow, and Terra's mouth fell open. "Wait… so you just teleported away without answering? You could have just said no, you know that right? He's in his room sulking or cursing, or both right now and the boys are trying to pry info from him!" Terra said being the first to get over her shock.

Raven sighed. "It's not like I don't want to! It's not that simple."

Jinx smirked knowingly. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you liked him but didn't know what to do when he asked!" she said.
Raven was silent. Starfire was still processing things. When she broke the silence, it was with a squeal. "I believe the term is 'you have a crush on him', yes?" she said, all smiles. The trash can in Raven's room exploded, leaving debris all over the girls, Raven included.

"See? it's complicated." Raven said, picking a piece of trash off her shoulder. "My emotions are going haywire."

"I am sure if you would talk to Ian they would-" Star tried.

"No." Raven deflected.

Jinx and Terra looked at each other. "Star's right. You should go talk to him. You might have broken his spirit." Terra said. Jinx crossed her arms and added, "Or his heart… either way I can just use a hex to make you teleport into his room so you HAVE to talk to him!" She smirked.

Raven frowned eyes slightly panicked. "You wouldn't!"

Jinx held up her hand examining her nails, "You've got 30 seconds to decide if I'm bluffing. Thirty… twenty-nine… twenty-eight..."

=Ian's Room=

Meanwhile, Ian was in his room with his head in his hands. "She just told me to find a reason to be trusted… and when I asked her to date me… UGH! I am so STUPID! $%^! If there's anyone who would understand me it would be her! So why? Why did she leave me standing there?"

"Ian? Open the door! it's Robin!" Robin knocked on his door, which Ian had locked from the inside.

"Go away!" Ian yelled. Robin sighed. "You know if you don't let me in Beast Boy will just barge in like a fly or something right?"

"Screw you!" Ian shouted. BB took that as his cue to scuttle under the door as a mouse. When he turned back to a human, surprisingly he didn't open the door. "Look… we all wanna help and I get it, you're depressed. But why? You can't stay in here forever."

"I screwed up man..." Ian said removing his hands from his face. BB noted that his cheeks were stained wet with tears.

"Dude… she made you cry? What did she do to you?" BB asked, hurrying over. Robin shouted, "BB, open the door!"

Beast Boy was not the smartest person in the world, but even he knew when to give someone distressed their space. "Look… Ian… I'm just gonna go. Come to the Ops room when you feel like talking, kay?"

Ian nodded as BB left the way he came. "Well?" Robin asked. "What's going on in there? Why didn't you let us in?" he asked. BB shook his head. "He just needs his space for a bit. Just give him time."

"You sure?" KF asked. "I could vibrate in. Talk some sense into him?"

BB sighed, "The guy was crying. Whatever happened, he needs some time to get that out of his system." he said. Cyborg sighed, "Well if that's the case all we can really do is leave him alone for now."

=With The Girls=

"Five...four...three..." Jinx counted. Raven finally cracked. "Fine, I'll do it myself!" She said worriedly as she teleported to the door of Ian's room and knocked.

Terra smirked, "You were so bluffing!"

Jinxed laughed mischievously, "It worked didn't it?"
