Raven knocked on the door and almost immediately Ian said, "Go away!"

She contemplated leaving but knew the girls wouldn't approve. "Ian, please let me in?" she asked rather than said. Ian lifted his head and walked over to the door, unlocking it. As the door slid open, Raven was a bit shocked to find a few tears lining his cheeks. "Ian… I-I didn't know you liked me that much..." She stammered.

He wiped a tear from his face. "Says the empath! Can't you read emotions?"

Raven let a small grin etch across her features. "I can read emotions, but not minds. Look… I'm sorry for not answering you earlier. If it means that much to you, I accept your offer to go out with you. But-"

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Ian rushed out and full-on hugged Raven without restraint. Raven was a bit shocked, but thankfully nothing exploded. She hesitantly returned the hug. As they parted, she said, "So, if you know me so well, where are we going on that date you wanted?"

Ian thought for a moment. "We could get dinner at someplace fancy. Just the two of us? Pick you up at 8:00?"

Raven smiled. "That sounds… nice."

The two of them walked down to the Ops room to find the rest of the Titans going about their business, BB, and Cyborg playing video games, Terra eating whatever the heck Starfire had cooked, mentioning that "This one tastes like jalapenos and grape jelly!" while Robin, Jinx, and Kid flash just watched making small talk, KF running back and forth to the fridge a few times.

Almost as soon as they entered the room, the Crime alert went off. "Titans, Trouble! Ian, you're on coms, we could use the edge on whoever this is!"

As they set off, Ian sat at the computer and linked the computer to their communicators, "Man… this must be what it is like to be Oracle..." he chuckled. "Okay guys… it looks like the target is near the pizzeria… oh no… Looks like… Fang and Kitten? Oh for the love of… they aren't even a challenge! BB, if you hear that hoard of moths, let me know. I can't hear that through the coms. That's the only time you would need me for this."

=In The City=

"Robbie poooooooo!" Kitten shouted. "You will be MINE!"

Fang looked over at her. "What am I here for then?" he asked. Kitten smirked evilly, "Aww come on Fangy! You're the muscle, I'm the brains!"

Robin took a fighting stance. "I highly doubt that!" he countered. Fang shrugged, "Yeah I'm out. I didn't want to go to jail today anyway."

"But Faaaaaaaaaang!" Kitten squealed.

"Well, that's a new one..." Ian said to the team through the coms. "Isn't Fang usually the lapdog-spider thing?"

The fight with Kitten lasted all of ten seconds after that, as Starfire disposed of her big gun she clearly couldn't lift by herself with a star bolt, and then sent her flying into a wall and subsequently into unconsciousness as well with a this-is-for-calling-my-boyfriend-Robby-poo revenge-fueled KO punch.

"Can we do the going home now?" Starfire asked as she flew over while the police escorted Kitten away. As Fang had left before the fighting, he wasn't apprehended, and no one but Robin cared enough to follow him, so putting it to a vote, they chalked it up to "he got away" and went out for pizza, Raven saying she had a date and wouldn't be joining them.

Needless to say, they were all quite surprised. "Since when does Raven date?" Kid Flash asked as Raven teleported away. Jinx smiled, "Maybe she just needed the right person to ask her out?" she shrugged with a knowing smile.

=8:00, Titan's Tower=/strong

Ian walked down the hall, looking at his watch(weird that it still worked since he got here… another dimension and he still had a working time schedule?) and noted it was 3 minutes to 8:00. Knocking on Raven's door, he wasn't the least bit surprised when it slid open… until he saw what she was wearing.

The dress she had on was black like her leotard but was a keyhole bodycon dress that showed just the right amount of her cleavage while remaining modest at the same time, with a gold and red necklace reminiscent of the belt she always wore adorning her neck. Ian was glad he had "borrowed" one of Robin's suit and tie combos for the evening or he would have looked ridiculous next to her.

"Well? Did I overdo it?" Raven had a slight smile at his stunned reaction. He closed his mouth then smiled back. "Maybe if you weren't on a date you would have. Personally, I am flattered that you decided to get all dressed up for me," he said, chuckling a bit. "Shall we?"

"We shall." She smiled as he led her down to the garage where the T-car awaited, a worried Cyborg the only one not at the pizzeria. "You owe me for this," Cyborg said to Ian as they approached. Ian thought for a moment. "Take a picture. it'll last longer than an IOU. And I won't have to pay for a photographer. It's a win-win!"

Raven sighed, "Boys… fine, but before you even think of using it for blackmail, consider who's IN the picture!" her extra two eyes appeared as she said this. They were soon on their way into town, Ian driving through the streets towards the restaurant he had reserved a table at a few hours earlier. It was an upscale Italian place that he knew would have more than just pizza on the menu. As they drove up and Ian helped Raven out of the passenger side of the car, He opened the door to the restaurant and all heads turned. As he walked in to request their table most other guys turned back to their meals, with the exception of a few, who kept staring because they couldn't believe Raven, THE Raven, the Dark Titan, had actually managed to get a boyfriend.

As they sat down, the waiter walked over, "Uhhh… wow, a Titan, here?" he managed to say. Ian smiled, "We ARE on a date! So what are the specials?"

"Oh… of course, sir! Tonight's specials are the Lobster ravioli and the Tortellini Alla Pana. Both come with a salad and our choice wines are-"

"I'm only 20." Ian interrupted, "Underage," he explained. Raven smiled, and nodded, "With my powers, intoxication is a very bad idea."

"Alright then, shall I get some sodas instead?" the waiter asked. "We brew our own soda water as well so it's always fresh!"

"That sounds like a good idea!" Ian answered. Raven nodded in agreement. "Two lobster ravioli, and two sodas." She said.

The waiter nodded. "And the salad dressing?" he asked. Ian thought about it, "Blue cheese for me." he answered.

Raven's choice was of a different variety. "I'll have the french dressing."

"I'll get that started right away." The waiter answered. As he left, Raven noticed Ian was fidgeting, "What's wrong Ian? Losing your confidence?"

Ian shook his head. "Not really. Didn't take you for a seafood girl. That aside, does it feel like we are being watched?"

Raven muttered her mantra, and her eyes widened. "Yes, we are. I'm calling Robin. I am NOT letting my first date end in chaos!"

=The Rooftop Across From the Restaurant=

Atop the roofs of Jump, a group of four eyes watched the two having their dinner conversation. "I told you he was onto us." a deep voice said. A more high pitched one looking through a sniper rifle scope shook her head. "We can't kill him now. He knows we're here. For all we know he will use his powers and dodge the shot, then kill us later!"

The deep voice responded. "Aaaaand thank you captain obvious."

The high pitched voice sighed, "Sometimes I prefer you when you aren't-OH SHIT! The Titans!"

=On the roofs of Jump=

Robin jumped across the roofs of the city following the lead that Raven had called them for. She had said she felt someone that was holding a sniper rifle. Robin may not have seen the gun in question, but a sniper was never a good thing, especially when Cyborg said he saw his car near the building said sniper was targeting. "So they are either after Raven..." he guessed,

"Or Ian isn't telling us everything." Kid Flash finished for him as they surrounded a purple cloaked figure with no weapons on their person despite Star swearing she had seen a sniper rifle from where she had been flying a moment ago.

"Fancy meeting you here!" the deep voice called out from within the cloak menacingly.

"Start talking sense! Who were you aiming to kill!" Robin got straight to the point. The girly voice answered this time. "It's no fun if you know that! CATCH!" As 9-millimeter Luger pistols appeared in the figure's hands, one aimed at Star, the other at Jinx. "Hihihihihihihihihihihihihihi!" the high pitched girl shrilly giggled, firing high-speed rounds as though the guns were mini guns in capacity. Jinx vaulted out of the way. Star wasn't so lucky and went down with a bullet to the shoulder, near her heart.

"That's one of you off the list. Tootles!" the figure said, disappearing entirely in a puff of black and red smoke.

"STARFIRE!" Robin screamed as he ran over to the injured Tamaranian princess. Cyborg radioed Raven and explained the situation, taking the T-car and telling her to use her powers after her date to heal Starfire.

Ian heard the situation from his seat and frowned. "I know this sounds bad, but we can always have another date. There's only one Starfire."

Raven smiled. "That's pretty selfless. Come on, I'll get us to the med bay!" she smiled as Ian paid the waiter, apologizing as they left. As they appeared in the tower's medical facility, Raven ran to Star's side, "What's the damage?"

"9-millimeter high-velocity pistol. Fired like a minigun. she's lucky to only have one bullet in her chest." Cyborg explained.

Raven got to work on healing the wound while Kid Flash pulled Ian aside. "They were after you or Raven. We know Raven's past, so it's logical she could be the target but… we don't know your past. Got any snipers who would want you dead? Ones who can fire a handgun at Mach speeds and reload just as fast? Possibly a dark magic user?

"No… I knew we were being watched, but that doesn't ring a bell," he said. As Raven finished healing she brought the extracted bullet to Ian. "I think you should see this," she explained.

"See what?" He asked. She held up the bullet and it had a small insignia etched onto the side of it. One he recognized all too well. "What the hell?" he looked at it with a mix of shock and terror. The insignia was one he had personally designed from a First Person Shooter back home for his game console. A team insignia that only he and his online squad used. Which meant one of two things. He was followed, or someone knew who he was and where he came from and was out for blood. He didn't have time to think about it further, as a shrill voice called out:

"Guess whoooo~oooooo?!"

Robin cursed as the girl's voice cut through what everyone was doing.

"All around the mulberry bush, the monkey chased the weasel, the monkey thought t'was all in fun, then he drank some diesel-" the girl sang through their comms not revealing where she was.

"That is so wrong… Shut up and kill them already!" the guttural voice complained, "Or did you forget what's at stake here?"

A bullet whizzed by Ian's ear, barely missing him. "FML! We can't let him activate it, kill the bastard, NOW!" The guttural voice practically screamed. Ian did not react like the others thought he would. He simply walked over to the bullet and picked it up, examining it. "That proves it then. The Blue Ravens…" he muttered. "But if they are using tech from games… then..."

"Shit! Shitshitshitshitshitshit! He knows!" the girly voice squeaked. Ian smirked and ran to the ops room. "You never mess with a guy who hacks video games for a hobby!" he gleefully looked through the weapon systems of the tower and began messing with some files.

"Ian… what do you mean Blue Ravens?" Raven asked as they all filed into the Ops room watching him code what was essentially a souped-up suit of armor like Iron Man's mark 51, or more specifically, the Model Prime armor. To them, they would never know that seeming as DC and MARVEL never did anything more than a few comic book crossovers, but Ian was in his element. If there was a degree for making mods in games, he would have been top of his class.

"Beast Boy, Cyborg. Recreate the Atlas incident using this fighter." Ian instructed, loading up the suit of armor over a wireframe model fighter. Cy looked proud yet confused. "Atlas did that, not us!"

"Then just play a match with it." Ian instructed as he sat down at the Ops keyboard.

"WE CANNOT LET HIM FINISH!" the guttural and high pitched voices shouted. Ian smirked as Cy pressed start. Ian's hands were a blur as he coded while hoping not to get shot. A bullet whizzed past his head as he hit enter for the final time. "Done." Ian proclaimed as the armor started flying out of the screen onto his body, encasing him in a suit that was laced with Pseudo-Nth Metal. He couldn't create the Nth metal substance exactly, but his coding skills as a shut-in who coded in his spare time and loved superheroes helped simulate it. Add to that that the suit looked like a mix of Ultraman and Iron Man with blue and silver hues rather than red and gold… well, he was impressing all the Titans. Ian spoke with as much courage as he could(finally realizing he was just shot at and almost died does that to you.)

"So… who wants an ass-whooping so badly they tried to off me while I was unable to fight back?" he asked, slowly flying out the window. He teetered around in midair since he was new to the whole 'I'm flying' thing.

"Who cares? Now we're just gonna die anyway. Why bother about who it is that kills us?" the voices said in unison. Ian looked to the top of the tower, where he finally got a look at his attacker. They were wearing a black mask, with a white smile painted on like a child would smear with face paints, and no eyes, nor eye holes to speak of were visible on the head of the mask. The purple cloak surrounding the figure was now open at the front to reveal a black void with four red eyes looking down at him. As the figure stared down Ian, he shouted. "Raven… do you have any relatives? A cousin maybe?"

"Relatives? Why do you-oh..." Raven levitated up to see why Ian wasn't attacking their assailant.

Suddenly the figure seemed like it was going to cry out, as it made a move like a kid rushing their parent, However, Raven stopped them with her mantra, and the figure was encased in a black prism.

"One. Wrong. Move. I dare you!" Raven simply uttered as all the rest of the Titans made it to the roof, Starfire holding her shoulder, which was now bandaged.

"Well, what did you expect from your own flesh and blood? It's not like we wanted to take Ian out!"

"How do you know Ian's name?" Raven asked, her eyes splitting into four, her power skyrocketing as her demon blood boiled.

The figure gulped. "Please, you have to understand… I'm… one of me is you… Ian, from another reality. Does Injustice ring a bell?"

"Oh… my god... holy %$^!" Ian swore. "Raven, let them go."

BB shouted out, "THEY SHOT AT YOU! And now you just want to let them go?"

Ian sighed, "Here's what that horrible word means." he started to explain to the team about the Injustice timeline.
