A/N: three chapters in one week? I was feeling inspired, and since the last two were a bit short I figured I could let y'all have another chapter today too. As a side note, I debating how long I should make this story now. I could end it pretty soon altogether, or I could just go for Season 7 being a new story altogether. I really haven't decided how long to continue this one yet. Please offer your opinions!

Ian was carried through the portal home by Raven as the others followed.

"Ian… Are you alright?" She asked as she set him on the couch.

"I'll be okay. She slugged me like that as her way of saying she was washing her hands of whatever happened to me after that, from what Scott is telling me." He rubbed his cheek.

"That doesn't sound like me…" Raven said as she began to heal him with her powers.

Ian sighed, "What would you do in her place? Trigon could see what was going on and she didn't want to show weakness, while at the same time not wanting to outright murder someone she cared about."

Raven sighed, "Alternate realities… I think we shouldn't mess with that for now if we can help it."

Ian smiled, "Agreed."

Beast Boy cleared his throat, "Ahem, you know we're all here right? Get a room!"

"About that…" Robin put a hand to his head, "Maybe Star and I should use the same room in the tower."

Starfire immediately had Robin in a bone-crushing hug as his suggestion sunk into everyone else's heads.

Terra looked at BB, "As long as you keep your side clean I wouldn't mind sharing either." She said.

Cyborg took a cell phone out and started dialing. "Sarah… do you think I could meet you someplace tomorrow? I need to discuss something. Love you too babe. Sure, sounds good. See you after work. Bye."

Ian smiled, "You're gonna ask her to live here, right?"

Cyborg shook his head, "No… not exactly."

Raven smiled at her big brother figure, "Just let us come to the wedding," she said, which made him go red with embarrassment.

Dubs and Kirsty immediately ran over with stars in their eyes and hugged Cyborg, "Congrats dad!" Dubs said, while Kirsty simply stayed silent with a look of happiness on her face.

Raven seemed pensive for a moment, "Ian… would you like to share my room?" she finally asked.

Dead silence from everyone. Raven hated when people would go into her room, which meant she definitely trusted and cared for Ian a great deal. Everyone looked at the two of them as Ian lie there and stared at her before smiling and saying. "I could definitely get used to that."

Suddenly Catherine raised a fist and yelled, "What about us?" motioning to Dubs, Malgand'r, and Beast Girl as she spoke, "We have rooms sure, but we don't come from—" she started.

Ian held up a hand. "I don't know what the problem is. You're still my daughter. You guys are all family as far as we're concerned. Or were you worried you weren't allowed to date someone or something?"

Literally everyone except for Ian went red for different reasons. The other universe kids for embarrassment at being found out, and most of the others reacting to Ian saying the word 'date' to them.

Ian laughed. "S-s-sorry… I really couldn't help myself. You guys realize we are all around the same age right? Despite the fact that they may be our kids, the reality is that they are not going to be barred from forming relationships just because we're technically their parents. That would honestly be bad parenting. If you don't let people make their own mistakes, no one learns a thing. We are not robots. That said… Catherine, were you speaking of anyone specifically?"

She nodded. "Uh-umm… I was g-gonna ask Dubs if… maybe he.."

"WHAT?" Dubs shouted in surprise.

Beast Girl simply laughed, "Great! I always thought Malgand'r was hotter anyways!"

Malgand'r stopped flying, completely taken aback. "I… sorry, you think I'm hot?"

Ian smirked, "You kids have fun on your dates while we get our rooms reorganized."

"DATES?" the two males in question were quite overwhelmed.

"Really? Thanks, Dad!" Catherine hugged Ian. Raven sighed, "Just don't go too far. Relationships take time."

Dubs suddenly went limp again as code fizzled through his eyes. "Not enough information on current events, running simulations to account for it." He droned.

Catherine panicked, "Dubs NO! please! I'm telling you; you won't find the answer by playing 5th-dimensional chess with your life! PLEASE! Listen to me! Don't shut me out!"

Dubs seemed to hear her, as he looked up with a lot of effort obvious to everyone, but it wasn't with the answer anyone was hoping for.

"Help… me…" and he literally fell over, motionless.

Cyborg was carrying him down the hall in an instant. Everyone was on his heels, but BB was confused, "Why have you headed away from the med bay?" he asked.

Kirsty had the answer, "Tech lab. He is a motherbox at his core."

As soon as everyone was in the room, Cyborg was seen hooking wires into Dubs' body, quickly tapping on a panel nearby. "I ain't losing my kid." He frowned.

Ian suddenly remembered something. "Cyborg, deactivate his security system."

"I AIN'T LOSING MY—"

"Fine, but if I fail this test, thank Constantine for the idea." Ian raised his hands and strange glyphs appeared as he began his work. Cyborg saw them and immediately decided to trust Ian, deactivating Dubs core security systems.

"What are you doing to him?" Terra asked as she watched the magic glyphs in action.

Ian smirked and repeated the line he remembered, "Technomancy. It's like taking a test you haven't studied for. Luckily, I cheat."

No-one stopped him as Dub's form started speaking, "What… security offline… error detected… must find solution to threat. Error detected… Weapon systems offline. Error detected… Motion unavailable… core tampered with… Error detected… self-destruct function offline… Error detected… Consciousness transferring offline… solutions are not available… Error detected… reboot option offline. Errors cannot be resolved… error…error… error!"

Catherine finally broke, "DAD STOP!"

Rather than listening to her Ian continued and Dubs suddenly moved his neck towards Catherine's voice. "Logic detected. Accepting rewrite of logic program labeled 'the one I cherish.' Combat mode modified, morality rewrite disabled permanently, Logic core modified, Rewrite successful. Errors in core have dissipated. Consciousness transferring online. Core stabilized, Motion resumed, Weapon systems online, Security systems active. Standby… stand… what's everyone looking at?"

"DUBS!" Catherine rocketed off the ground sobbing and hugged him almost as hard as Starfire could.

"So… I am afraid to ask, but what did you do to him, exactly?" Robin asked Ian.

Ian looked at them all with an odd expression. "I removed the functions that rewrite his morality when he does not have enough information, in favor of logic programs that cause him to think for himself. I also may have tampered with his emotional state so he wouldn't kill me for it."

No one said anything. Rewriting a mind was unethical, that was true, but he hadn't done so to hurt Dubs. He had done so because Dubs had said the one thing that meant he wanted help before he went dormant.

Dubs got off the table and walked over to Ian slowly. No-one stopped him.

"So does this make you my future father-in-law?" he asked.

Catherine went scarlet.

Ian sighed, "That's honestly up to your actions and your father, since he still has to give his blessing to my daughter."

Cyborg smiled, "Come on man, you saved his life, as far as I am concerned, y'all just have a great time, and when you wanna talk about going that far I ain't stoppin' ya!"

As everyone else laughed and carried on, going back to the Ops room, Malgand'r and Kate(A/N:Beast Girl's given name. note for those who forgot) trailed behind.

"So you… you like me?" Malgand'r asked awkwardly.

Kate blushed, "Y-yeah… do you n-not like m-me?"

"Of course I do! We just had to run for our lives for so long there was no time for relationships so…" Malgand'r tripped over his words.

Kate smiled, "It's a date then. See you tomorrow night?" and she ran to her room to get ready.

Malgand'r stopped walking. "Uhhh… see you…" he had a bit of red on his orange cheeks.

Once Dubs had calmed down enough from the ordeal, Catherine approached him in the ops room that evening. "Dubs… I am so sorry. If you don't want to go on a date then we don't have to. I shouldn't have caused this… just forget—"

Dubs grabbed her hand, "Please, don't blame yourself for my programming. I asked for help because I wanted to say yes, but my brain was incomplete and couldn't see why that was the right thing to do. Let's forget that and just go on a date tomorrow night. It's not fair for you to blame yourself!"

Catherine smiled, "Thanks… so what do you want to do on our date?"

On the other side of the door, Ian and Raven were standing there, "Do you honestly think it's okay to eavesdrop on her?" Raven said, "She's not doing anything wrong. Come to bed."

Ian blushed. She had insisted her bed be expanded to a double-wide when they had reorganized rooms. "Uhhh… are you sure?" he asked.

She smiled, "Why? Are you afraid I will take you?"

Ian was sweating bullets. "I can't answer that without dying can I?" he asked.

Raven smirked, "Now you're the one not winning this one, dear Ian." She said as she headed toward their room.
