I was slowly following behind the Kitsaukuras as they led me away from my hollowed tunnel.

"Why again did I not attack her the moment I saw her?" I thought replaying the memory. Oh yeah I did. I remembered shooting sparks of electricity at her.

"It's going to be ok," said Cherry from beside me struggling to keep pace with her mother's much longer legs. I despised her mother already, Cherry was annoying sure, but her mother didn't need to act this way. Then again I don't know much about parents still I doubted they were Supposed to treat you like this.

"My mother's name is Belladonna," explained Cherry quietly though I was hardly listening as I stared at the majestic great tree in front of us, I had heard stories, so many stories, and now today I would see it for myself!

"INSIDE!" yelled the dark blue Aizune dragging us three in.

For a split second I had a second to admire the view, a beautiful pristine lake inside, with a dock he could easily imagine Cherry crouching on looking down at the fish inside, I wondered for a second what they would do in a drought. Probably get some water from the lakes or the swamps. Their seemed to be tons of fireflies in here lighting up the room-

Anddd the second was over.

"So who exactly is this?" questioned Belladonna poking and prodding at me as I squirmed uncomfortably.

"My friend," said Cherry meekly and seemed to be twitching her tail a little too much to be normal and staring intently at me more accurately at my tail and paws.

Did she want me to do something?

I titled my head not enough to make them suspicious though as she averted her gaze, "Mother, we don't need to bother with him, he is just a peasant!"

"An Elekity," mused her Mother pulling us along again as we headed up the trees platforms, fireflies still lighting our way. Small huts were littered along each platform.

It was fun for a few flights until I looked down realizing if I was to slip on one of the mushrooms or branches we had to jump to, to get to the top or wherever we were going, I would surely fall and at the very least break my leg and shatter my ribs.

And Cherry certainly wasn't helping matters by making each twig and branch sway or "accidently" bumping into me on the mushrooms, what was her problem? Did she want me to fall?

After the 5th story flight she stopped and followed more carefully right when I was about to hiss at her in annoyance.

As we crept up one particular branch with Belladonna still yelling orders and demands as her daughters seemed to skivvy after her, I was really hating her by the moment and every so often she would ask me a question. I answered them all wrong just in case.

"Bolt," she whispered but harshly as I gave her a look, yeah sure, run while dangling hundreds feet of the air on a swaying branch mmm, such a great idea.

"Listen sista," I scowled deciding to spell it out, gesturing to the branch we were crawling on, "I can't run!"

"Shh," she hissed fiercely with an expression I had never seen on her face, fear perhaps? Usually I just saw a mischievous or a slightly amused yet annoyed expression and I decided to shut up knowing this might, just might be serious, "You don't understand, my mother she-"

"Whatcha talking about here?" said Plum popping into our conversation, though I had a feeling it was intentional.

"What are you discussing about over here," corrected Cherry automatically. I hated when she did that.

"Potato, Tomato!" shrugged her sister apparently she didn't believe in perfect grammar, thank goodness I don't need Two Cherry's correcting me constantly.

"Nothing…" I responded briskly, hesitating too long was usually a sign of someone lying. Apparently answering too quickly was also a sign of a lie because Plum instantly glared at me suspiciously.

We decided to keep a low profile as we arrived at the top part of the tree, not the tippy top, and I saw that we could probably go up a few more steps but this had the entire floor filled in so we had no risk of falling.

Plum and Cherry flicked their tails towards a small hut, "That's my room," they said at the same time, before turning to glare at each other.

Petty sibling rivalry I thought as I rolled my eyes as they began squabbling.

"Girls, girls stop bickering," scolded Belladonna, "Now what were you doing in that log?"

"You know, taking in the sights," I shrugged, not willing to tell her I lived there.

"And why were you talking to my daughter?" she said more sternly and to the point.

"She was- well she was just passing by," I said trying to keep my voice as level as possible despite her suspicious glare and snarling face not more than a few inches from my face, "She decided to be a friendly neighbor and say hello,"

The blue Aizune snorted in faint disbelief but nodded her head, "Do you wish to stay for supper?"

Behind her I saw Cherry shake her head rapidly at me when her sister was distracted.

"N-no," I stuttered out, she didn't seem that nice anyways, she was much too loud.

"I insist," she stated, "Plum do be a dear and fetch the flowers your sister left by that dreadful hollow log,"

Plum rolled her eyes in annoyance perhaps but stumbled down the tree much faster than we climbed up though going down she has got to be more careful.

"What are we having today, Mom?" asked Cherry, blocking me from her view and pushed me away. I was about to retort when I realized this was my escape.

Unfortunately the universe loved to play jokes.

I snapped on a twig, yes a twig of all things, of course of all the times to snap on a twig I snapped on one inside a hollow tree right when I was about to escape.

I was going to bite the universe in its face if I get a chance next time.

"Where are you going?" inquired the fox mother shifting her gaze towards me as I saw Cherry smack her head softly and silently though still managed to give it the right annoyed exasperated expression. She was rather good at those.

He had to admit it was funny and cute when she did that, like a 4 year old trying to scowl.

I obviously wasn't going to tell her that, because her looks could still kill funny or not.

"Looking at the view," I said dumbly but she bought it, unfortunately I was closest to the wrong exit but there was no going back now and I stumbled onto one of the branches to look at the view, and if he wasn't basically being held hostage he would have honestly liked it.

He looked up at the branch leading to the last floor of the tree and his curiosity got the better of him, what was up there?

He scrambled up to the top floor and it was utterly silent and dark. It took a minute for his eyes to adjust but right there in the middle of the big podium being hung up was something terrifying.

The platform was filled with cages, and creatures in them.
