Certain smells could transport Lucy in seconds.

Strong rubbing alcohol brought her to Hogwart's infirmary as soon as the burn started in her nose.

Sweet baked apples mixed with warm vanilla and cinnamon now reminded her of her mother baking on a cool fall day, The smell immediately brought to mind the bustling kitchen, her parents and her taking over a corner from the house elves. A sense of family she had never experienced before.

Now, thick body odor, sharp tang of steel, and the coppery scent of blood mixed together would probably always bring her back to the training grounds and learning to sword fight with Carver.

The summer between second and third year was filled with endless sword fighting. Drill and kill.

Every movement needed practiced over and over until it became second nature.

Then Carver allowed her to start hunting demons with him.

"That a Glutton," he motioned to the demon in the Arbys that the visitors seemed to be unable to see in the Nandos in London.

"A Glutton?" Lucy inquired.

"That's what we call them. There's a more official Hebrew name, but Glutton works. They make people gorge themselves until they explode, sometimes literally," Carver said, leading Lucy to a chair. She watched the Glutton reach out and grab an overweight man's hand.

"There, see his eyes," Carver's voice was low pitched but urgent, Lucy already nodding. She had seen the way the man's eyes glazed ever so slightly at the brush of the demon's hand.

"Three sandwiches, two large chips, and a fizzy," the man said at the counter. He carried his loaded tray over to an empty table and started eating. The Glutton sat down across from the man and smiled. Lucy shivered slightly, noticing that every tooth beneath the solid black eyes was pointed.

Besides the black eyes and pointed teeth, the Glutton was almost skeletally thin.

"They're missing something inside them, leaving a gaping emptiness. All they really do is share their empty feelings with humans. Whatever the human values, they try to get as much of it as possible to fill the empty feeling. Biggest problem is when humans value food and gorge themselves to death," Carver said.

"Can't the Glutton feel us?" Lucy asked.

Carver tilted his head, "Probably, but Gluttons are pretty low level demons. They don't necessarily have the brain capacity to change paths from us. They know we're dangerous, but they're so focused on their task that they can't really think of anything else."

"So what do we do now?" Lucy asked.

"Kill it. That'll release the human from its hold," Carver said.

"How do we do that?"

"Cut off its head normally. If it works for zombies, it normally works for a demon too," Carver smirked slightly.

Lucy gaped at him, "Was that a joke?"

"Was it funny?"

She shrugged, "Maybe? I mean, I was too startled to focus on the actual humor of the words."

Carver stood from the table with a smoothness that Lucy was still jealous of. Approaching the demon, he tapped it on the shoulder. The Glutton looked up at the angel with a hiss.

"Go 'way!" It hissed at Carver.

"I have a duty to end your existence," he ordered the creature who hissed some more. Before its skeletal body could do much else, Carver had already swung his sword, lit up with the white light of angel magic and removed the demon's head.

"Joke about zombies, but also truth. Noted," Lucy said.

It was weird, adventuring with Carver. First, she had to come up with excuses to her parents why she wasn't available. Working on schoolwork only worked so long. Then she started asking to visit Blaise even though she knew he and his mother were on vacation in Greece. That would probably come back to bite her.

And it did, about half way through the summer when Remus and Sirius came up on either side of her as she was walking through the yard with her broom. Each grabbing one upper arm, they picked her up and carried her off to the right.

"Hey, guys! What's going on?" she demanded, struggling futilely against the two tall men.

"Well, pup, Blaise Zabini just stopped by to see you for the first time this summer after his trip to Greece," Sirius said in a low voice.

"You are SO lucky we were home instead of your parents," Remus said, tawny eyes serious and disappointed as he glanced down at her.

"But you're now going to explain what you've been doing and whether or not we should tell your parents," Sirius said.

Even though she was panicking on the inside, she couldn't resist saying, "You two really remind me of the Weasley Twins sometimes."

Blaise was waiting for them in manor's outlying gazebo, "You've been using me as an alibi and didn't think to shoot me a Floo call! This is really your own fault."

"If I had told you, you would have grilled me first," Lucy whined.

"Probably not anything boy related then. She wouldn't have minded telling Blaise about a boyfriend," Sirius muttered to Remus who nodded.

"Listen, listen, I'm going to tell you guys everything, but it needs to wait two more days," Lucy said.

"Two days? Why?" Blaise asked.

Remus raised an eyebrow, "You want Harry to hear your explanation?"

Sirius' entire expression changed as a grin split his face from ear to ear, like a nonscary version of the joker, "I knew you two were best friends! Of course we'll wait for Harry. No sense in explaining everything twice! Look at my little godson and goddaughter, closer than twins!"

He pretended to faint in exaggerated happiness, and a disgruntled Remus grunted once before throwing the swooning man onto the floor.

"Fine, cub, we'll give you exactly two days. After the hearing, as long as Harry goes with Sirius, the three of us want to know what's going on with you," he gave her a long look, eyebrows raised and tilted slightly together, mouth set in a stern line.

Lucy gaved a jaunty salute even as she swallowed. Hopefully they bought her story.

Two days later, Lucy sighed as she realized this courtroom may be even larger than the one she was forced to experience as a teenager the first time around. The sunken stage area in the center of the rounded room was different as well. No shackle chair, instead a series of oppressively large chairs were placed. A slew of solicitors filled them along with Sirius, Harry, and the Sternwoods.

"Quiet in the courtroom," Barty Crouch Sr banged his gavel, "We are here for the custody hearing between one Black, Sirius and the Sternwoods over a Potter, Harry.

Lucy reached out and gripped Remus' larger hand with her own, he squeezed her hand back once and gave her a reassuring smile. The two of them were seated up behind Sirius' side of the room as moral support. Her parents were both part of the Wizengamot jury, each holding a seat for their family titles.

Even though she had no part in the proceedings, she still found herself nervous. This was a momentous occasion. Would anything she changed with her knowledge of the future ever work out for good? Or had she doomed this Harry from the start?

As each side gave their points and testimonies, she found herself unexpectedly bored. It wasn't like her first hearing at all, shouted testimonies, harsh accusations. Sure, there was the occasional accusation, but it was mostly a variety of questions and answers. Questions about income, jobs, housing, security.

"Are custody hearings normally like this?" she whispered to Remus.

"I haven't been to many, believe it or not, but I expect so. This one has a couple extra layers because of Harry's celebrity status, but it does contain the normal elements," he whispered back.

"Do you think Sirius will win?" she whispered up at Remus.

He smiled down at her, "Yes, I think so. Harry's testimony this morning that he wanted to go with Sirius will be good for the case. I just wish we had been able to find James and Lily's will."

"Any other witnesses?" Crouch asked.

"No sir," Sirius' lawyer said.

"None from us either," Sternwood's lawyer said.

"With no further evidence, we will now deliberate. Trial adjourned for two hours," Crouch said.

Lucy gave Sirius a hug when she met up with him in the hallway. He looked pale to her, and she thought she spotted a slight tremble in his fingertips around his wand. As she was stepping back, she was blinded by a flash of light.

"Mr. Black, Mr. Black, a moment of your time please!"

"Is it true that you are trying to take Harry from his loving guardians?"

"How do you feel after your release from Azkaban?"

Remus grabbed Lucy by the shoulder and guided her away from the paparazzi as Sirius' solicitor stepped forward to diffuse the crowd of reporters. Lucy sent up a menacing glare at a pair of bug-like glasses and the attached face of the reporter.

"Let's grab some lunch, cub. Your parents won't be happy with me if you starve while we wait to find out," he smiled down at her.

"I'm thirteen in three months; why do I still feel like you're babysitting me?" Lucy asked him.

After grabbing a couple burgers and some chips at the Leaky Cauldron, they flooed back to the Ministry of Magic.

Inside the large courtroom, Lucy felt sweat drip down her back. The room was packed, Dumbledore having pushed for an open courtroom. The old man himself had pulled every string he could to keep Harry with the Sternwoods. All behind the scenes of course, but Lucy recognized his handiwork.

"How has the Wizengamot decided?" Crouch asked.

A thin, ancient man stood up, dull grey robes fluttering around him, "The Wizengamot has decided to award primary custody to Sirius Black, but Harry Potter must still have visitations with the Sternwoods."

Lucy clapped, happy for the outcome. It was better than it could have been, though still not ideal.

Later, her family gathered at Grimmauld Place to celebrate.

"Are you excited?" she asked Harry.

"Thrilled!" he said, sounding and looking more like she had imagined herself originally than he ever had before in this timeline.

"Good, he'll be a great godfather," she told him gently.

He looked a bit apologetic, "Are you jealous? I didn't steal him or anything."

She waved his concerns away, "Not a bit. I've got Remus as my godfather, and, to be honest, I kind of reckon I got the better end of the stick there, if you know what I mean."

He laughed a bit, "Probably a bit more stable, yeah. There is that whole werewolf thing they've been telling me about though. Anyway, Sirius clearly still loves you like a daughter too."

"I'm serious Harry, I don't mind at all. I think it's good for both of you. And yes, I know Sirius still loves me too. After all, I'm the one who rescued him from Azkaban," she admitted.

"Did you? How'd you do that? Are you finally gonna explain?" he asked her.

She nodded, "Yes, as soon as my parents leave. I'm gonna ask them to have a sleepover with you and Blaise, and I'll explain then."

Harry brought into that part of the plan, it wasn't hard to get permission for Lucy and Blaise to stay at Grimmauld Place. At first, they argued that Sirius and Harry might want some time to discuss things, but Sirius was in support of it, especially after seeing that Harry liked the idea as well.

"Sirius, you are planning on coming back to the manor then, right? I know you listed this address for the court paperwork, but once the house checks have been completed, you know you'll always have a home with us. A potentially more welcoming home for a young boy as well," Mrs. Ogden told Sirius gently.

"If you're sure?" he asked.

"Of course we are! We aren't going to just kick you out after all those years. And Harry and Lucy get along so well. It'll be like her having a brother," Mr. Ogen said, smiling at the preteens in question. They smiled back, even as Harry wrapped an arm around Lucy and pinched her arm out of sight. She jabbed a finger into his side sharply.

"We'll talk about it later. Enjoy your night with the kids. Remus, are you coming?" Mrs Ogden asked.

"I figured I'd stay and help Sirius with those kids," he said with an apologetic smile.

"Good, good. He'll probably need it!" Mr. Ogden joked.

Once they had left, all eyes turned to Lucy who led the way to the Black library.

"OK, there's a lot to this story, but it starts with the fact I'm a Seer. My gift has been kind of stuck on the fight between Harry and Voldemort for ages. Since I was seven. I've been able to see the past and future of the fight, well one potential future at least, all through Harry's perspective. It feels like I've already lived through Harry's life," she said.

The others were staring at her, but she kept her eyes focused on Harry as his face lit up with understanding.

"So there is some sort of weird connection between us?" he clarified.

She nodded, "Yeah, my gift is like fixated on you. I decided I didn't like how that future turned out, and wanted to change things."

"Change the potential future? That's extremely dangerous!" Sirius looked concerned.

"Did it not end well?" Harry asked.

"No, you won, but it was at a sharp price. And some things were just horrible. You were originally with the Dursleys until you graduated," she said.

His head tilted slightly to the side as he considered, "You got me taken from them?"

She nodded, even though the answer was already clear, "Yes, but I'm so sorry. I had no idea they were going to send you to the Sternwoods. Its been like that most of the time. Like Sirius said, it is a bit dangerous. Every time I tried to help, it just seemed to go worse."

She hung her head in shame. At least part of the truth was out now. Perhaps the worst part in Harry's mind, she couldn't be sure.

Blaise was the one to come and wrap her in a hug. Looking up, she spotted him glaring out at the others.

"Clearly Lucy was doing the best she could. And anyone who has a problem with it, can talk to me," he declared.

Harry held up placating hands, "I didn't say anything. Listen, the Sternwoods were bad, but I'd still say the Dursleys were worse. I appreciate it. Plus, you've been helping with the Voldemort situations. Did those go worse too?"

She looked up, "No, actually those are going better. No one's died yet."

"Died?"

"Excuse me, Voldemort situations? Is that what you had been telling us about, the Chamber and the trials in the first year?" Remus clarified.

"Lucy was with me both times. I think she's a large part of the reason I'm still alive," Harry said.

"Nah, you would've survived either way. I was just trying to help," she said.

"Why?" Blaise asked.

"I've already kind of lived through it once. I decided years ago that if I had already gone through it once, there was no reason for someone else to go through it too. I've been trying to keep Harry from as much of it as I can," she said.

"That's not your job as a Seer, pup," Sirius said softly, looking sad, "You're just a kid yourself, regardless of what you've seen."

"You're not going to change my mind about this," Lucy said firmly.

Harry shook his head, "I won't even try honestly, but you are not alone in this. It's not my job or yours, but I think we've gotten sucked into this."

"And you two need me, because you both suck at public relations, even with Sternwoods cruel and unusual training," Blaise threw in, "But you're repeating all of this to Hermione when she gets back from vacation. Why didn't you wait to explain then?"

"Because I needed something from the Black family home to prove what I'm about to tell you," she said, and walked over to the desk where the Horcrux was still stored inside. The previous summer, she had checked that the locket was still in there and placed heavy charms around it, stuff like notice-me-not charms, until she had gotten a way to destroy it. Plus, she thought it could be helpful if she needed a way to convince Remus and Sirius. She was glad for it, because the two seemed a bit skeptical.

"I've been running around trying to destroy Voldemort. He found a way to make himself nearly immortal until they've been destroyed," she explained, telling a bit of a white lie. She'd decided to go this route instead of trying to explain the angel thing currently. Plus, she might need the other's help the upcoming year to destroy the rest of the Horcruxes.

"They?" Remus asked.

"Voldemort made Horcuxes," she said.

By Blaise and Sirius' stricken expressions, they were the only ones to know about a Horcrux. Remus had his thinking face on.

"No!" Sirius said.

"Yes."

"What's a Horcrux?" Harry looked annoyed at not understanding, much like the first time around.

"The diary was a Horcrux. It's a container in which part of Voldemort's soul is attached. It can be used to resurrect him. Plus, he can never truly die while he has them, because his soul is always attached to the mortal realm," Lucy said.

"The diary was a Horcrux?" Blaise asked.

Lucy nodded.

"What could you need from Grimmauld Place to prove that?" Sirius asked, "No, no, no, you are not about to say that there's one here!"

"Sorry, Sirius, but there is one. Regulus died getting this one away from Voldemort, but he couldn't figure out how to destroy it," Lucy said gently, opening up the drawer.

Sirius staggered to the couch and fell down heavily, as though all the air had left his body, "Reggie?"

"He turned back before his death. He knew Voldemort was wrong," Lucy said.

Sirius put a hand over his face and kept it there.

"I know what a Horcrux is, but I still don't know how they're made," Remus tried to change the subject.

"The person has to murder someone. When you kill someone, your soul fractures slightly. Rather than allowing that to heal, they capitalize on it, and completely rip a chunk off," Lucy explained as best as she herself understood.

"I don't understand why Po- Harry is so important to Voldemort anyway?" Blaise said.

"There was a prophecy made, saying that a child would be born able to defeat Voldemort and Voldemort would mark him as his equal. But it's such crap. Prophecies just matter how much faith you put into them," Lucy said .

"The irony of the Seer saying that," Remus muttered.

She glared at him, "Hey! I don't make prophecies, I just see the past and future. There's all types of Seers. Some read cards. Actually, I've never tried that, so I don't know if it would work…"

"To get back on topic though…" Sirius said.

"Right! I have a plan. I think I know his Horcruxes and where they are. I'll be spending the upcoming school year to destroy the rest of them, so that he'll be mortal again," Lucy pounded her closed fist into her open palm. "But I'll need all of your help."

"I totally believe you kid, but you said you have proof?" Sirius asked.

She nodded as she pulled the locket out of the desk drawer. The feeling of evil left an almost tangible cloud in its wake. Unlike the first time, when it could manipulate her to want to do evil, and how she could already see anger start to cloud over the other's faces, this time the locket just made her feel sick.

It was like Riddle's ghost from last year, raising her angel magic to surface to fight in the dark presence.

She'd noticed that Remus might be a bit wary around her, the tawny more bright in his eyes like they were around the full moon instead of the more muted light brown the rest of the month, but it was nothing like this.

Remus had a dark sickness on him, but he was not dark. He could perform the patronus; he was light with a dark swirl through him.

The locket was pure darkness.

Evil really.

A corruption made from one of the most evil acts, the murder of an innocent.

It made her stomach roll inside her, a feeling of nausea growing.

Without her realizing, the others watched as her skin started to shimmer ever so slightly, the locket seeming to suck in that light and convert it to pitch blackness.

She pulled a vial of Basilisk venom from a pocket and unstoppered it as she held the locket as far from her body as possible. When she poured the venom out, Blaise and Remus took a stilted movement forward, as though to stop her.

Gently, she smiled at the two of them, knowing there were forces inside them that pulled at them to protect the locket, even if that's not how they personally felt.

"Horcrux number three destroyed," she smiled.

"Three?" Harry asked.

"The diary was one, this locket a second one, and, by the way, is that Salazar Slytherin's locket?" Blaise asked.

"Yep, plus there was Ravenclaw's diadem hidden inside Hogwarts," Lucy popped the p sound, "Oh, Sirius, call for Kreacher."

"Why would you want him, I've had him working in the kitchen for ages now. He keeps making me food out of really disgusting stuff. Like a poop pie," Sirius shuddered, "Fine, Kreacher."

At the last second, Lucy had shoved the smoldering locket into Sirius' hand.

"What does ungrateful probably illegitimate son of my Mistress want with-" the elf cut himself off with a slack jaw, "Is that Master Reggie locket?"

"Yes, we've destroyed it," Sirius said.

"Oh Master is a good Master after all! Kreacher had been trying for years, but he's always failed. Burned his ears, shut his fingers in cupboards, but no matter the punishment, Kreacher keeps failing," Kreacher wailed, throwing his arms around Sirius' legs, whose crinkled nose showed the smell coming off the dirty old elf.

"Well...it's definitely been destroyed this time, Kreacher," Sirius said awkwardly.

"Kreacher will serve Master faithfully for the rest of his years for completing Master Reggie's final command," Kreacher cried out, refusing to be pried away from Sirius' legs even as Harry stepped forward to try to help.

"Kreacher, Sirius will come talk to you soon about your duties. For now, would you like to keep the locket?" Lucy cut in without actually touching the elf.

He looked up at her with big watering eyes, "Kreacher could keep Master Reggie's locket?"

"Yeah, I thought it would help you feel close to him. And then Sirius will know where it is if he needs it," she shrugged lightly as though it was no big deal. In many ways, it wasn't, now just a mangled container barely able to be identified as any locket let alone Slytherin's. "First though, Remus, do you know any spells to remove the Basilisk venom. I don't want to accidentally hurt Kreacher."

Remus obligingly vanished the venom, and after a couple of security sweeps of his wand, handed it back to Lucy who placed it around the elf's neck. The chain was a normal length for an adult, but on the elf, it hung down inside his filthy pillowcase outfit, just the chain around the neck visible.

"Excellent!" she said and stepped back to nod to Sirius.

"Right, uhm...Kreacher, back to the kitchen," Sirius commanded the elf.

"Yes, Master Sirie, I will wait there for you," the elf said and vanished with a pop.

"So this has been fun, but I'm sure all of your questions have now been answered," Lucy tried to sneak out the library door, but Blaise caught her by the arm.

"Sit down, we have plenty more questions for you," Remus said.

It took until late into the night for Lucy to finish the explanation. She gave a general overview of the Horcruxes and where they were at in case anything happened to her. The only one she didn't mention was the one inside Harry. It was wrong, it was what Dumbledore had done to her in the past, but looking at him at nearly thirteen, already filled in so much, she couldn't drop that bomb on him.

Besides, she needed time to figure out how to remove it from him without the potential of him dying.

Then she also mentioned that Harry probably had some loyalty charms and such on him from the Sternwoods, and Sirius promised to hire the human equivalent of a cursebreaker to have any such charms removed from Harry.

"Plus, I think there's a couple pieces in this house that prevent new charms like that from being placed on him," Sirius muttered, holding his chin as he looked with new eyes around the cluttered house.

"Good, I know in the future there will be ploys to put love charms onto him," Lucy said, and Remus and Sirius laughed while Blaise's eyebrows raised and Harry paled.

"Fear not, we'll protect you. There were a couple attempts on your father," Sirius said.

"Not to mention a couple on Sirius," Remus laughed while Sirius stuck his tongue out at the other man.

It was early into the morning before any of them went to bed. Eventually Lucy trudged up to the empty guest room set aside for her, and fell onto the bed in an exhausted pile.

Despite everything, she felt relieved. While she hadn't revealed everything, like her angel side or coming from the future, it was nice to have revealed so much. Plus, she now had four additional pairs of eyes watching her plans to make sure they would work out.

She hadn't revealed much about how she planned to sneak out of the school. That actually depended on her next lessons with Carver.

A week later, she was practicing with Carver on performing the angel magic to disappear, her top secret plan for getting out of the castle to hunt Horcruxes in the evenings and weekends.

"This requires a certain step pattern," Carver explained.

"Oh my gosh, it's like dancing," Lucy cried, "I'm terrible at dancing!"

"It's hardly an entire dance. You simply have to step your right foot behind your left so that the toes are touching the heel of your left foot," Carver said, demonstrating how he faded away as the heel and toes connected.

"OK, let's practice again," she commanded, performing the step and watching as her hands started to fade ever so slightly.

"Good, keep trying until you disappear. Remember, you will still be able to see yourself as though a ghost, but humans will not. This will not work against angels or demons though," Carver reminded her. "We should also teach you the magic to make humans fall asleep."

"Yes, that sounds wonderful actually!" Lucy said.

"It can be convenient. For that one, you'll touch your sword lightly from ear to ear on the person's head," Carver said.

The rest of summer went quickly as she practiced those two new spells, the fire spell, spent time hunting demons with Carver, and spent time with her family.

It was lucky that her parents wrote off the general craziness of the household as Harry adjusting to living with Sirius (and thus the Ogdens and Remus) and Remus preparing to go to Hogwarts to teach.

When Hermione got back from vacation, Blaise and Lucy filled her in as well.

"I can't believe I missed seeing the locket destroyed. What did the Horcrux feel like? It sounds absolutely wretched," Hermione said, wrapping Lucy in a hug.

"It was," Blaise agreed with a shiver.

Before Lucy had a chance to enjoy the summer, it seemed like it was already over.

She hugged her parents goodbye on the platform, feeling a mirror from the start of summer.

"Remember, Dumbledore doesn't know of our connection to Remus. You'll have to be careful this upcoming year," her father warned her.

"I will," she smiled at him.

Her mother tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, "You were distant this summer. Is anything bothering you?"

"No, nothing," she lied, and tried to smile at her mother. While her mother smiled, her eyes held a certain sadness that said she knew Lucy was lying.

"Alright, remember we are here if you do have anything you want to tell us," Mrs Ogden reminded her daughter.

"Always," she said.

"Off you trot then," her father said and ducked down to drop a kiss on the top of Lucy's head before the girl went onto the train.

From the open doorway, she turned back and waved at them, those two wonderful people who had poured out so much love into her life. Who had taken so many risks and helped her with so many things, from understanding her Seer abilities and helping her rescue Sirius.

She felt like she was such a different person this time around because of their influence.

But she also knew that they still saw her as their precious daughter, only heir, which was why she had not revealed everything she was doing to them.

While it hurt, it felt safer for everyone this way. At least this time, she had some adults she trusted.

Turning around, she found Blaise and Hermione quickly. Guiding them down the train, she went to Remus' compartment.

"Hey professor," she called to him with a grin that he returned, pride on his features. Sirius lay at his feet in his grim black dog form, half asleep.

"Hello, young lady," he replied, giving a slight wink.

Hermione, who only knew the bare minimum about Remus and Sirius, smiled politely, "I'm gonna catch up with the Twins quick. We planned a couple things for the upcoming year, and I want to finalize any details."

As the door shut, Remus turned to Lucy with raised eyebrows, "You didn't mention that one of your closest friends had gotten into pranking with the infamous twins?"

"Didn't I? Oops," Lucy said.

Blaise snorted, "Not to mention it's all Lucy's fault. She got the twins to corrupt Hermione, and said it would be better for them if Hermione was on their side instead of tattling."

"Wonderful, anyone else to look out for?" Remus asked.

"Just who we told you over the summer," Lucy said. "I'll be back, I've got to get Neville."

Blaise and Remus watched her leave the compartment, Sirius opening one eye to check before snorting and going back to sleep.

Neville and Lucy sat down quietly when they returned, and Remus' face turned serious.

"Lucy, there's something I need to tell you before we get to Hogwarts. Dumbledore just told the teachers earlier today, and it should be hitting the Prophet as a special evening edition, but your parents wouldn't know yet. Peter Pettigrew led an escape from Azkaban along with a bunch of the infamous Death Eaters," Remus said, his face more serious than she had seen in ages.

Lusy stared at her godfather.

"What?" Lucy asked.
