Many hours have passed since our Mandalorian caught his 9th bounty so far. During his travel, he and his driver didn't encounter any problems or bandits either they think they're not worth the effort or that they spot our Mandalorian and were smart enough not to risk their lives for it. Whatever the case is it's been a smooth trip so far
It was getting late the sun was about to go down and some of his bounties are complaining that they're hungry, or thirst, but thankfully that won't be soon over the next hill the Mandalorian spots the city in the distance
The capital city of Eostia Ken, The White Citadel. One of the Seven Fortress Cities in the Eostia home of 2 Shield Princesses.
The carriage slowly approaches the main gate until the Guards stopped them to inspect the carriage but they recognized our Mandalorian and knew what's in the carriage.
"Oh it's you again."
They look back at the steel transport "Another haul? The guard asks, sounding impressed. "Good work less scum to deal with. Alright, let them through!"
The guards open the gate and let them through without any problems. On the way towards their final destination, The Mandalorian looked around to see people going about their business. Some were eating, drinking at taverns or cafes. Some shopping for groceries or any hardware they need. Just another peaceful evening in the White Carriage came to a stop and they were finally here, the Guild.
The Guild is a central hub for all kinds of jobs for anyone to do. Ranging from finding a lost cat to capture a bounty, to wiping out a bandit encampment. But The Guild isn't some kind of shady organization, these jobs are from the Kingdom and the people. It's legal work and it has a set of rules everyone has to follow.
They are the basic rules, Don't fight among us each other in the building, Do not harm the clients, Do not Steal from the Guild or someone else's pay but that hasn't stopped a few from trying.
The Mandalorian got off and tipped the driver a gold coin."Thank you for your services"
"Anytime Mando the Guild and I will take care of these bounties"
The Mandalorian nods his head and went inside to the Guild Building to collect his rewards
He opens the door and not to his surprise it's busy at this time. People coming back from their quest to collect their reward such as him. Just as he enters a few glances at him our Mandalorian is a bit of a celebrity in the Guild from his skills and reputation, and that well, Mandalorians are rare to be found.
But our Mandalorian didn't care for the attention he's just here to collect his reward. He went to a booth where the Guild Master is sitting and having a drink, Greef Karga a man with a charming personality
Greef noticed our Mandalorian approaching him "Back so soon already? Another haul again? How many is it this time? Three? Five?"
"Nine." The Mandalorians answers as he sat across from him
"Nine?! Ho-ho!" Greef laughs at what he hears and he believes him " Man you work fast and are all of them alive?
"Yes."
Greef flashes a smile at Mandos good work "Nicely done. All of them will be dealt accordingly, anyway, here's your reward." He places a bag of gold coins onto the table
The Mandalorian takes his reward this will go well to his clan and he can still do some more work. He looks at the Guild Master
"Any more bounties you have for me to collect?"
"Eager to work so soon already?" Greef surprise at his question "Come on! Take a load off you caught 9 bounties alive in 1 day! Not many bounty hunters can do that! Have a drink or find yourself a nice lady to keep you company."
"Do you have any or not?" The Mandalorian asks sounding demanding
Greef sighed this Mando is gonna work himself to death but can't complain he's making a lot of money for each bounty he collects
"There are a few." He pulls out 3 scrolls placing them on the table "Prisoner Escapee, a Rapist and A child murderer."
"I'll take them all"
THe Mandaliran was about to take the scrolls but Greef stopped him for a moment
"Wait, wait don't be so hasty taking every bounty contract you see. Let some of the new blood take these."
Mando looks somewhat annoyed "I need the coins"
"Oh, I know you do but there's one job that might interest you that it's worth more than these combine..if you are willing to?"
The Mandalorian noticed Greef sounded series like it's an important job with a big payout and maybe a tough hunt.
"What's the job?"
"As you know things have been restless around here with the Shield Knights being stretch thin as it and their alliance those….ugh, Kuroinus things haven't been looking well for them and all of us."
"How is that tied to this job?" The Mandalorian asks " And whos the client?"
"Don't know but I can assume they are a powerful person they sent an actual Shield Knight to inform me about it"
The Mandalorian tilted his head "Them? The Shield Knights? Don't they have the Kuroinu to deal with whatever this is?"
"Guess they want to be subtle about this, something Vault and his dogs can't do for them. They came to The Guild and asked me for a skilled bounty hunter and sent them to the temple to meet face to face for more details. You were the first one I thought you have the skills for."
The Mandalore lets out a small chuckle underneath his helmet "Hmph...I'm flatter...do you say that to every bounty hunter?"
Greef laughs it off "Haha with you Mando I mean it".
"…What's the pay?"
"A Substantial Reward, enough to renovate this place"
The Mandalorian gave it some it though getting involved with the Shield Knights seems unwise but if the pay is substantial it'll go a long way for the creed.
"Very well. I'll do it"
"Ohoh I knew I can count on you Mando!" Greef cheered in excitement he and Guild are gonna have a massive payday! He pulls out a seal with the Shield Knights logo on it "Take this seal to the temple and the guards at the front will let you through."
The Mandalorian nods his head and takes the seal. He exits the Guild Build and process to go to Holy Temple located in the center of the Capital
Reaching the Holy Temple it wasn't your average church it was also a fortress to house many knights and important figures. The Mandalorian has never been in one and now he might, whoever this client is. He approaches the main gate where 2 guards stationed there stopped him just as he close
"Halt! You are not allowed to enter without an appointment. Why are you here?"
"I am from the Guild. I have a seal from them to show you "The Mandalorian shows him the seal he receives from Greef
The guard took the seal from him and inspected it for a brief moment he looks back at our Mando
"I see. Wait here for a moment "
The guard left, leaving the other guard and Mando alone for a bit.
Patiently waiting for the guard to return our Mandalorian wonders who's the client? A rich noble who wants him to hunt down a person of interest to kill or capture or eliminate a beast as a trophy? Whatever the case is the pay better worth it and hopes the client is not gonna be stuck up one but he thinks it's unlikely.
The guard finally returns and with him is a Shield Knight Commander. She was beautiful at first was tall, maybe in her 30s, she had light brown hair tied into a bun, sharp blue eyes with a beauty mark under her left eye, milky white skin, wide hips, and an E-cup size breast She wore silver and gold armor that covers her shoulder, arms, legs, part of her waist and part of her large breast. The only piece of clothing she had was a white thong, Her entire midsection was exposed showing off that glamour body of her a very bold armor choice indeed but that's what the typical Shield Knight armor design for females.
The Commander Shield Knight examines our armored warrior like she's evaluating him on the spot
"You're a Mandalorian, Yes?"
"You are correct….Claudia Levantine." One of the 7 Sheild Princess standing right in front of Mando
"I see." Claudia nods her head "come with me.
"As you wish."
Our Mandoaliran follows her into the temple. As they make their way they passed by many Shield Knights who were training or tending their knightly duties. All of them stared at our Mandalorian some of them were in awe to actually see one. They read the stories about them and they were known to be the greatest and deadliest warrior across Eostia long ago and are highly respected and feared.
Both Cladia and the Mandalorians enter a meeting room with a small table in the middle.
"Your client will arrive shortly," Claudia said to him
Mando didn't say anything and he has a gut feeling who it might be. To have one Shield Princess escort him to meet his client could only mean one thing. He then heard the dooring open behind them
Entering the room were 3 maids they held the door and walking in was A high elf with a nice curved body, wide hips, and a G-cups size breast. Her hair is a long platinum blond color that reaches down to her legs, green eyes, glowing white skin, and she was wearing white robes that barely covered much of her assets. This is Celestine Lucullus the leader of the Shield Knights
Claudia bows her head to Celestine as she got close "Lady Celestine, this is the bounty hunter the Guild Master has send us"
"Your Highness. Mando places a hand onto his chest and politely nods his head to her.
Celestine turns her to Mando surprised at who they have. "A Mandalorian I see? Please Have a seat. We have much to discuss."
Mandalorian sat across from Celestine as Cladia stood by her side. None didn't speak yet, a brief awkward of silence between them
"You there! Are you going to remove your helmet?" Claudia broke the silence with her question
"Why would I do that?" The Mandalorian asks
Claudia took his question as pure ignorance
"You cur! Don't you realize you're in the presence of her highness! Show some respect!"
"I am showing my respects towards her through my Mandalorian traditions"
"It is alright Claudia" Celestine stopped her " This is one of many ways they show respect"
Claudia looked like she wanted to object, but remained silent at her lady's wishes
Celestine looks at Mando "Before we discuss the details I would like to know whom I'm speaking to?"
"Most People call me Mando."
Celestine and Claudia looked a bit dumbfounded to hear that
"I see. But I would like to know your actual name, please." Celestine pleaded as she's looking directly at Mandos visors.
The Mandalorian paused, the Goddess sounded very eager to know what his name is, and if he refused to tell he might not be able to get the bounty with a substantial reward. He quietly signed at this.
"Dredgen. Dredgen Jager."
"Dredgen Jager?" Celestines smiles to hear that "Do you know why you're here Dredgen?"
"For a bounty you want me to do." The Mandalorian now known as Dredgen answers "The Guild Master told me someone from up high wanted a bounty hunter for a job that needs to be done and wanted to meet in person but I did not expect the client was gonna be you."
Celestine chuckles at him " Yes it is strange for someone like me who wants to hire a bounty hunter. Greef sent you because he knew you'd be up to the tasks but this is a discreet matter. We had to be cautious about it."
"Caution to hire a bounty hunter?" Dredgen asks finding that strange "Yet you hired Vault and his Kuroinus to aid your Shield Knights for years."
Claudia took that comment personally. "Watch your tongue bounty hunter."
"Forgive me if that came off rude Lady Claudia." Dredgen being apologetic " I was just stating the facts here"
"Ahem. Celestine cleared her throat, getting them to stop. She looks back at Dredgen "It is true we hired them years ago and their aid has been a tremendous server for us. But this particular task is something they are not suited for and we couldn't just hire any bounty hunter.
Dregen almost wanted to laugh at that to hear the Goddess Celestine saying the Kuroinu are incompetent at something but who's the mark he wonders?
"Who's the bounty?"
"Olga Discordia."
The Dark Queen. Dredgen didn't sound shocked but rather interested
"Yes" Celestine nods her head "I want you to bring her here alive and unharmed"
Dredgen paused for a moment and this got a whole lot more interesting. "You want me to capture a powerful Dark Elf that is a sorcerer in dark magic and in a fortress surrounded by a demon army?"
"I know it sounds dangerous for you but this might encourage you especially since you are a Mandalorian." Celestine signals one of her maids to come over. She whispers into her ear the Maid nods her head and left the room
After a short while, the maid returns with a tray in hand, and on that tray was a single ingot. The Maid places the tray onto the table and left
Claudia's eyes widened at it. "My lady thats-"
"It is alright." Celestine assured her "Go on see what it is."
Dredgen grabs the ingot he carefully examines it after a brief moment, he recognizes what this is the last time he ever felt something like this was when he was still a child
"This is Beskar."
"Pure Beskar. This is an incentive for you." Celestine said. "You will be rewarded more of these plus a large sum of money if you complete the bounty"
"We have planned to use the Kuroinu to raid and take control of the Black Citadel in a few days. You will go with them to aid each other"
Dredgen almost scoffed at the idea the Kuroinu isn't exactly honorable warriors. he did have a few run-ins with them during other bounty hunts but nothing too serious yet and capturing the Dark Queen is a tall order but that Beskar reward sounds tempting
"I don't work well with the Kuroinu. "He said making the Goddess look worried"...but I can tolerate it for this quest"
"Then..You accept my request?"
"I do, I am a Mandalorian to hunt, to battle is an honor, this is the way. You have my word I'll do whatever it takes and my best to bring Olga Discordia to you unharmed and well"
Celestine looked surprised by this but smiled at his determination; he sounds exactly like a Mandalorian.
"I see. You are an interesting man, Dredgen. I know you won't let me down. I'll send someone to at the Guild to gather you when it's time until then I wish you good night"
Dredgen stood up from his seat and politely nodded his head.
"You as well Lady Celestine." He took the Beskar ingot and the 3 maids escorted him out of the temple.
...
Just as Dredgen left them Claudia spooked up
"My lady is it wise to employ such a man and to give him such a rare mineral?"
"I know you're not very fond of mercenaries, Claudia…."
"I just don't trust someone who fights for money instead of their kingdom, especially that individual. He's a bounty hunter, a mercenary like Vault and he's no knight but rather a Mandalorian that lives for battle and doesn't share our Shield Knights honor"
"You didn't just Maia either when I brought made her a Shield Princesses, but in the end, she earned your trust and respect"
Claudia sighed in defeat. She was right about that
"But why give him the man Beskar?" Claudia asks "Even our best Blacksmith can't forge armor out of it and I doubt he certainly can"
"Beskar is a sacred material to Mandalore. Celestine explains " It is a relic to them in any form or shape. It belongs to them."
Claudia didn't say anything if something as rare as Beskar is sacred to them. It's understandable why Dredgen would accept the bounty.
"You don't know much about the Mandalorians do you, Claudia?" Celestine asks her
"Other than the stories I heard when I was still a child that they were valiant warriors mercenary long ago but now they aren't many left."
"True Mandalorian are a group of mercenary warriors and to find one is rarer than Beskar but they are honorable warriors"
"How can you be so sure?"
Celestine smiled a little remembering long ago "I have known their creed long before the Shield Alliance was created and Mandalorians are known to keep their word Dredgen will honor it to the end."
Dredgen exits the temple without any issue it was night now and things for him have taken a development how would he complete the bounty to capture Olga Discordia and bring her back to Celestine is unsure but first, there is someone he has to meet.
He headed off to the lower district of Ken. Upon arriving on the streets there were a few taverns open. People were drinking it, having a good time. It's a relatively safe place to be but only if you're in a group, indoors or not walking alone at the night
Dredgen began walking to his destination despite it being late at night and he's alone so he doesn't feel any danger towards him. People are smart enough to stay away but that hasn't stopped a few from trying.
There was even this one time a group of thugs surrounded him in an alley they demanded he give them his armor, weapons, and money to them and they might let him live. They had him 4 to 1 but Dredgen liked those odds. He dealt with the thugs no problem, he didn't kill them just that they've been eating through a straw for a few weeks
He took a turn to an alley and approached a small steel gate. He opens the gate and squeezes on through until he reaches down to an Underground tunnel system. He follows the path in front of him he knows where to go he's been in these many times before.
After a short walk and around the next corner there were torches lit up and he can hear what sounds like weapon maintenance. Just as he got close and entered There were other Mandalorian Warriors like him, not a lot 15 or so
Many of them were adjusting and maintaining their weapons and armor and such. Weapons are part of their religion and must be properly cared for. None didn't greet him when noticing him entering they quickly went back to their weapons
Dredgen passed them and approached another door. He entered a large open area in the center of a large special smelter and a Forger. Standing in the middle working on some weapons is his Tribe leader, their Armorer, their Mentor.
Dredgen didn't say a word to get her attention. He sets his weapons down,he sits down at a small table and waits.
The Armorer continued her work for a while, hammering a sword, melting iron she's been doing that ever since Dredgen could remember. Providing weapons, armor, and wisdom to the creed. She finally finished her work, putting away her tools, and sat across Dredgen.
Dredgen places the Beskar Ingot onto the table showing it to her
The Armorer grabs the ingot, examining it, and instantly recognizes it. She was so infatuated by it to see Beskar once again.
"Pure Beskar." The Armorer said "This was gathered in the great purge long ago. It is good to see it back to the tribe"
"Yes." Dredgen nods
"A pauldron is in order. Has your signet been revealed?"
"Not yet."
"Soon it will."
The Armorer takes the ingot and begins to get to work. Dredgen watches start to finish. Her melting the Beskar Ingot with the special smelter, forging it into a pauldron, hammering it, To see Beskar forge and create into a piece of traditional armor had its own beauty in a way.
After an hour or so it was done. A pauldron made out of Beskar. The Armorer places the Beskar pauldron onto Dredgen left shoulder a shiny silver color
"You are now closer to being complete." The Armorer said
"Thank you."
"Tell me where did you acquire it?"
"It gifted to me by Celestine Lucullus as an incentive for a bounty I must complete"
"The Goddess?" The Armorer sounds surprised to hear that "And what is this bounty you deem to hunt for her"
"The Dark Queen Olga Discordia."
The Armorer just nods her head not asking why
"I see. By the creed, it is your hunt to complete"
"I've been asked to work alongside with the Kuroinu for this bounty"
The Armorer hums at what she hears "I see but to work alongside with dishonorable warriors you must be wary of what comes."
"Why is that?" Dredgen asks
"For you to hunt the Dark Queen could be the end of the war for those Shield Knights and their alliance with those Kuroinu"
Dredgen didn't say anything and let her continue
"An alliance is a contract, and contracts like in all things in life..come to an end. You must remember Young One you are both the Hunter and the Prey. Whatever happens on this bounty you will honor it as a Mandalorian should...For this is the way."
"This is the way."

And Done! Our Mando now known as Dredgen has accepted the bounty to capture Olga Discordia! Nice!

As you can tell Dredgen doesn't have a full set of Beskar armor yet but he will. His armor design currently is the Infamous Bounty Hunter Armor from the Old Republic game with a dark leather color for the underlayer and a dark blue color for the armor pieces. When he gets his full Beskar Armor it will be completely different or more or less the same and a few weapons upgrades
For weapons, Dredgen has some are...exotic and he's proficient in many weapons but these are his main weapons.
A disrupter spearbolt It's a spear and crossbow into 1. Versatile for range and melee combat. Has a stun rune for nonlethal takeouts whenever. It can use standard crossbow bolts and a certain one that doesn't leave much remains of its victims
A short iron sword, a small dagger, a pepperbox flintlock like those in Assassin Creed Unity (Thank you Nightroad816 for the idea) Throwing Knives, and a few assort of bombs
His vambraces currently only has the rope launcher, and a flamethrower when he get's the Beskar a few additional modifications will be added.
