Few days have passed and the news of the Vaults Kuroinu's plan to raid the Black Cidtail home of Olga Discordia by Celestine has spread across Eostia. The Seven fortresses across Eosita is preparing for the worst if something wrong happens
Dredgen was gathered by the Shield Knights from the Guild just as Celestine said and it was by Claudia alongside her top knights. Everyone in the Guild, even Greef, was shocked to see a Shield Princesses escorting their top bounty hunter.
"My lady has put much faith in you bounty hunter." Claudia said to him as they make their way to the temple
"I am aware of that". Dredgen replies.
Claudia growls underneath her breath; he didn't sound serious at all! Greef sent this bounty hunter because he trusts his skills but she's unsure about it and because of that she did a little background check on our Mandalorian
"I've read the guild reports of your many bounties you were able to collect and other quests you've done."
"Oh?" Dredgen raised a brow underneath his helmet finding it amusing that Claudia took the time to do a little research on our bounty hunter. "Doubting Lady Celestine?
Claudia can sense his humorous tone in his voice but brushed it off ". I do not doubt her Highness decided to employ you. I wanted to see what you are capable of, especially that you are a Mandalorian."
"And?"
"A few of your methods I did find...unorthodox but impressive. Managing to eradicate a large bandit encampment that was extorting many villages and You've captured some of the vilest criminals this Kingdom has come across and manage to bring most of them alive."
"They're worth more alive than dead and it's more a challenge. " Dredgen said "That is the way I prefer to do in most bounties"
"I see...Then I hope you won't fail on this important hunt of yours."
Dredgen doesn't plan to he came prepared and well equipped for this. It's more than just a simple bounty hunt for him, To hunt down a powerful and dangerous dark sorcerer Olga Discordia herself gives him some kind of freedom,or thrill or pride in him because many of his Mandalorian brethren and like him always desires a worthy adversary to hunt. Plus that Beskar reward is better in the creed hands than with the Sheild Knights.

Arriving at the inner walls of the temple Dredgen sees many mercenaries, particularly Kuroinus. They were loading up crates of supplies provided by the Shield Knights onto carriages. Ranging from weapons, ammo, and food basically the essentials for going into battle.
Claudia then escorts Dredgen to meet a person of interest
Standing in front of them is the leader of the Kuroinu Mercenaires Vault. A tall large older man in his late 30s maybe. He has dark skin, black scruffy hair, has a scar above his left eyebrow, wearing black armor with a small emblem of a dog on it, a red cloak cape, and a large black broadsword on his back, and also the small smell of ale around him
Standing beside him are 2 others. The first is a man with light tan skin he looked in his 30s as well, has light brown hair all the way pulled back he's wearing a green sleeveless vest showing off his abs, gray combat pants, and twin dual swords on his hips. This is Hicks Vaults', right-hand man.
And the other is a young man with light skin, looked in his early 20s, he has light brown wavy hair, a pair of glasses, a large dark blue cloak underneath a light green and dark blue sage outfit. This is Kin one of the Kuroinu top mage maybe even the only one.
"Vault this is the Mandalorian bounty hunter who will be accompanying you and your mercenaries to the Black Citadel"
"Hello there."
"Is that so?" Vault looks at the Mandalorian examining him "So you're the one who's gonna be tagging along with us?"
"That's right."Dredgen answers
"A Mandalorian eh?" Hick spoke up "Never thought I'll see one in person heard the stories about ya about being greatest warriors long ago or so they say."
"How interesting" Kin said pushing up his glasses "I've heard from Vault's men they've encountered one but never believed them but to see one now….how incredible underwhelming he looks."
Dredgen quietly groans underneath his helmet not loud enough for them to hear. This is off to a great start with the Kuroinu
"Don't let his appearances fool you young mage," Claudia spoke up defending Dredgen which surprised him and even Kin. "This is the Guild's top bounty hunter and you will show him proper respect."
Vault and Hicks snickers at the mage as Kin scowls at what he hears but he did what he was told by his employer "Tsk..As you wish Lady Claudia
Dredgen looked at the mage and can sense the irritation in Kins' voices, guess he doesn't like to be told around by someone else. But he did find it amusing to see Claudia telling to Kin be more respectful towards him
Claudia then cleared her throat "Now that you're all here together I don't need to remind, that You both have an important job to do. My Lady has employed you both because you are the best in these professions. Succeed in these dangerous tasks and you'll be both be reward substantially for your efforts
Vault, Hicks, and Kin greedily smiles at what they hear another big payout for them obviously because they are mercenaries
"As long as your 'Goddess' keeps paying us ' Professional ' we'll keep fighting for you!" Vault said sounding confident
"I'll honor it to the end Lady Claudia" Dredgen respectfully said
"I see you all have been acquitted with each other" An elegant voice caught the attention of the group. Claudia alongside her knights and Dredgen turn around to Celestine approaching them
"Your Highness!" Claudia and her knights were surprised to see their Goddess they immediately bow their heads to her.
"Raise your head Claudia" Celestine said in a graceful tone "I just wanted to see how things are proceeding and..." The Goddess turns her attention to our bounty hunter "I would like a word with Dredgen in private."
"Me?"
"I-In private?" Claudia was surprised to hear that but she was against it "My Lady you shouldn't be alone without-"
"It is alright Claudia" Celestine stopped her "Dredgen won't do anything harmful to me I assure you."
Claudia was still against it to leave her alone but she sighed and complied with her lady's wishes.
Celestine then turned her attention back to our Bounty Hunter "Dredgen please follow me."
"As you wish your Highness"
With a nod, Dredgen follows her. As the Goddess and the Mandalorian walks away from the group Vault was had a grin on his face probably taken interests in our Mandalorian
"So Dredgen is the Mandos name eh?"
After a short work Dredgen noticed they were in a garden there was a range of various flowers and plants it looked very nice and peaceful he'll admit but he's on the job right now and didn't have time to admire them
"Lady Celestine" Dredgen spoke up " what is it you want to talk about is something the matters?
"No nothing is wrong." Celestine then noticed the Beskar pauldron on his shoulder. "Oh I see you were able to make use of the Beskar we've given you"
"I have."
Celestine stares at the pauldron admiring the piece she slowly places her hand. Dredgen did not back away from her for he knows she not trying to do anything she just admiring it
"To see Beskar armor once again even just a part of it makes me grateful to see its beautiful craftsmanship"
"You might see the full set after this"
Celestine chuckles at what she hears "I hope I do and the thing I want to discuss is that I have something for you. Please hold out your hand"
Without question, our Bounty hunter held out a single hand to the Goddess. Celestine grabs his hand gently holding it. Dredgen felt a sense of serenity by her touch; it was calming in a way to him. The power of a Goddess he expected She then places a small cyan color stone
"What's this?"
"It is a magically stone" Celestine answers " It can communicate to another who has the same stone even from a long distance
"I see... you want me to keep you informed about what happens"
"Yes" The Goddess nods her head " it is of utmost importance for me to know. I do not doubt you'll do anything to jeopardize your mission but this is an uncertain matter for all of us."
Dredgen can tell she was serious about this by the look on her face. "I understand I'll keep you up to date"
Celestine smiles in relief "Good, this discussion is between us only do not share this information with Vault or any of his men.
Dredgen did find it strange for her to tell him not to sure this with Vault since she told him he has to work with them during their time together but that is wise a move he thinks. His client is Celestine, not Vault and it's not professional to tell others of your client's information
"As you wish I'll keep this a secret between us. and I will do my best"
Celestine can tell by the tone of his voice he is determined to complete such a dangerous bounty. "I have given you a dangerous bounty for you to hunt Dredgen but I have faith in you and your Mandalorian ways. I want you to return safely with Olga Discordia"
The very next day there was a sense of anxiety and hope in the air. With the Kuroinu lead by Vault raiding the Black Citadel and potentially that could end the long war for the Shield Alliance, it has many unsure what will come? Will they fail or succeed? Whatever the outcome is, it'll be a day to be remembered. Vault and his Kuroinu alongside Dredgen set out to make history.

Many days have passed and the trip to the Black Citadel for Dredgen was well dreadful(HA!) The more closer they get closer to the Black Citidal the land around them is slowly becoming a wasteland. The soil was so barren no vegetation was able to grow, rivers became tainted poison undrinkable, and the sky forever blood red. But it wasn't the environment that was bothering the bounty hunter for he had been trained to endure such things; it was the Kuroinu he had to travel with that was getting on his nerves.
The Kuroinu set up camp and they were maybe a day or two away from reaching the Black Citadel. Dredgen sitting alone near his own tent maintaining his spearbolt minding his own business. He didn't bother socializing with some of Vault's men for they seemed well to be a bad crowd. Some were drinking, playing cards to pass the time but every now and then a small fight breaks out either someone's drunk or accusing someone of cheating or both
Dredgen sighs at felt more like he's among bandits or a gang instead of 'professionals' like Vault claim what is men are
He even noticed most of his men didn't even know how to swing a sword properly or use any other weapon at all Only a few can though who have some actual experience or were former military turn merc. How did this group of ragtag warriors become the largest mercenary group in Eosita is beyond him but he can still tolerate this for the time being.
"Hey Mando!" Just then he heard a merc getting his attention. Turning his head Dredgen sees 3 of Vaults men approaching him
"Something you want?" Dredgen asks as they got close
"Yeah! Have a drink with us!"
"No."
"Eh?" The 3 mercs were surprised at how quickly he answers them
Dredgen has multiple reasons for refusing their offer. Firstly they're in the middle of a wasteland that pretty much anything there can kill you if you're not careful, second it's unprofessional to drink while on the job and the third? Well you can guess
The Mercs were somewhat disappointed they heard they got a Mandalorian tagging along with them from their leader Vault and thought could see what kind of person he is but seems uptight
"So do you ever take off that helmet?" One asks looking at Dredgen helmet
"Sometimes."
"How about taking it off now?"
"No."
"What? Come on man! Take off the helmet. What's the harm?
"I said no."
Dredgen didn't want to take off his helmet for personal reasons and that there deep in enemy territory. However, the mercs didn't seem to take a hint and were starting to get annoyed at how's this Mandalorian is treating them
"Oh, don't be like that."
One reached out a hand drawing near the helmet but before he could touch it Dredgen grabs the mercs wrist hard gripping it tight to the point the merc lets out a groan
"I said...no." Dredgen repeats this time it was a warning. He pushes away the mercs hand
The merc grits his teeth rubbing his sore wrist and didn't like that how Dredgen treated him
"Grrr You think I'm scared of you because you're a Mandalorian. You better show me some respect Mando! I've faced scarier shit than you've ever had!"
Dredgen lets out an annoyed sigh and he doubts that. Is this guy drunk or is trying to pick a fight to show he's better? Maybe both, whatever it is Dredgen just wants to be left alone and wants no trouble during their journey to the Black Citadel but Vault's men are clearly making it difficult to.
"What? Did you get all Quiet on me? Ha!" The merc and his 2 buddies laughed at his supposed cowardice for not responding ". I thought Mandalorians are the greatest warriors but it seems you're not if you're too much of a pussy to take me on!
That hit a nerve to Dredgen as much patience he has but for someone who says he's not a Mandalorian, especially that is some merc thug who has no honor is just downright ignorant and just asking for it!
Dredgen stood up quickly, standing in front of the merc looking directly at his face. The Merc thug and his 2 buddies were startled by it
"Keep talking like that and it'll not end well for you." Dredgen warns
The Merc Thug suddenly got a chill to his spine but wasn't going to back down because Dredgen a Mandalorian
"Ha! Think you can beat me! I'm one of the best fighters here!"
"Care to prove it?"
"…"
"…"
Without any warning, the Merc thug quickly goes for a sucker punch but Dredgen saw it coming. He backed away, the bounty hunter then grabbed the Merc thug by his shirt and started whaling on the guy's face, pushing him towards the center of the camp getting everyone's attention.
In a matter of seconds, everyone stopped what they were doing and circled around the Mandalorian to see what was going on. After 1 final punch, from Dredgen the merc thug was sent flying but was caught by the crowd of dogs
The Merc thugs rubbing his face he then looks at Mando in utter anger he dares such a thing against him! He then saw 2 of his buddies coming out of the crowd
"W-what the hell are you waiting for?!" He shouted at them " Help me kick this guy's ass!
"Really?" Dredgen sounding amused "Thought you said you were one of the best fighters here."
"Grr, Shut up!"
The three all charge at him
Dredgen focused on the first one in front of him. The Merc throws a punch, our Mandalorian took a step back easily dogging it he then caught the merc thug's extended arm and with his other hand, Dredgen again started whaling on the guys face. After a barrage of punches to the mercs face the bounty hunter dislocates his arm the loud popping noise made a few of the dogs look away in cringe at the sound he then finishes him off with 3 heavy jabs knocking him out cold and broken
Our Mandalorian quickly turns his head around to see a fist coming straight for his head with no time to move but it was a bad idea for the second Merc as Dredgen lets him punch his helmet with his bare fist. The merc thugs cried in pain looking at his hand before the Mandalorian did a right hook across his face and kneed him in the gut and tossed him onto the ground.
Two down Dredgen turns his attention on the third merc but to his surprise, the third actually used his brain. He had a look of fear on his face and was slowly backing away. He witnessed 2 of his buddies just got laid out in seconds by this Mandalorian without breaking a sweat!
Smart move Dredgen thought but Some of the dogs in the crowd were trying to encourage the third merc to keep fighting him. Our Mandaliran signed at this he's conceding he knows he's beaten but it seems the third merc is slowly agreeing to the idea thinking he can beat Mando.
Dredgen saw the third merc face with a now confined look, he was really going for it after seeing 2 of his friends get their asses handed to them. Our Bounty Hunter snapped his tongue at this and he'll end this quick. The Third Merc charged an-
"Hey, what the hell is going here!? "Just then a loud angry voice got everyone's attention making them stop "Why the fuck is there no keeping watch!"
Coming to the center was Vault alongside him Kin and Hick. And the Merc leader does not look too happy at what his men are doing.
"Do you want the demon army coming upon us?!" Vault shouted "Get back to your post!
The crowd of dogs were frightened at their leader and quickly disperse leaving only the 3 Merc thugs and Dredgen alone with them
Vault turns his attention to Mando then looks down to see two of his men on the ground groaning in eyes widen in shock theses were some of his best men skilled in a fight and they were all beaten by our bounty hunter
"Huh? So that's why everyone wanted to see, Figures." Vault said, waving his head he then turns his focus on the third merc who was frightened by gaze. "You there! What the hell was this all about?! Why are you three were fighting this Mandalorian?!"
The Merc was shaking "W-well Uh Vault we.. we just wanted this Mandalorian to take off his helmet and he said no."
"All this because he said no? Really?! "Vault couldn't believe what he was hearing "Get those idiots and get your asses back to your post!"
"Um uh Yes Sir!" The merc quickly went to 2 buddies getting them up the best he can and went back to their post.
Dredgen standing nearby watching was somewhat impress that Vault had some sense of discipline for his men but not enough so it seems
Vault sighs in annoyance "Sorry about that Dredgen I know most of my men are a bit a pain to deal with
"Keep a better tight leash on them next time otherwise they'll be eating through a straw if this happens again."
Dredgen warns Vault before he turns around and goes back to his tent.
….
"Vault." Kin spoke up once the Mandalorian was away. "Are you really sure you want this brute aboard with us? Mandalorians have a strict code of honor and don't think he'll like what we have in store once we capture the Black Citadel"
Vault laughs at what he hears. "Relax Kin Dredgen maybe a Mandalorian but in the end, he's merc like us and something tell me he'll be on board once he hears my offer"
Dredgen went inside in his tent and sat down on his bedroll. He took a moment to clear his head. He should focus on why he's tagging along with the Kuroinu. The Bounty Hunter then pulled out the tele-stone it's time for his daily report.
"Lady Celestine are you there?"
"Ah, Dredgen, I am!" Celestine's voice came on, she sounded happy to hear his voice. "Another update I presume?"
"Yes I believe we are a day away from the Black Citadel"
"That's excellent news!" She shouted, sounding excited " How is your trip with the Kuroinu?
"We've run into a few mishaps but nothing serious."
"That's good."
"Right..."
"Is something wrong? The Goddess suddenly asks sounding worried
"H-huh? Why do you ask?"
"I can tell by the sound of your voice that something troubles you. Is everything okay?"
Dredgen pauses for a moment, he finds it odd his client Celestine is concerned about him. Most clients he worked with in the past didn't care for his well being, only the results. It felt comforting to hear it from her
"Just had some troubles with Vaults men but nothing I can't handle"
"Oh I see…"
"That is all I have for you Lady Celestine. I will contact you once I've captured Olga."
"W-wait! Dredgen!" Celestine stops him before he could hang up
"Hm? Is something the matter?"
"N-no" Celestine said different from her usual self " I just..just want to let you know how much I am grateful that you accepted this bounty to capture Olga Discordia you have no idea how much this means to me.
"You hired me to do a job and I intend to honor it as I do with any other.
Celestine smiles on the other end. "Still..I wanted you to know how I feel. I will be praying for your success Dredgen I wish you a good night and I'll be waiting for you to call again."
"I will Lady Celestine, I wish you a Good Night as well.
The Kuroinu had finally made it to their destination: the Black Citadel. As dark and foreboding as hence the name. It was a monumental spire that juts out of the ground like a spike. The castle itself emitted a dark aura that sent chills down the spines of every man. The only way in and out is the drawbridge on the castle and It seems the Demon army is aware of the Kuroinu at their doorstep and are on high alert.
The Kuroinu had set up camp in the outskirts of the Black Citadel far enough not to get hit by cannons or a barrage of arrows. Vault ordered his men to wait for him to find a way in other than the front.
Dredgen was laying on a steep poking his head out, staring at the Black Citadel with his telescope. Olga Discordia is there and he's here to collect her. It won't be easy getting to her. There's no doubt about that and plus that he has to subdue the Dark Queen without her putting up a fight first.
Magic Sorcerers are savvy opponents to deal with and Mando has been able to capture a few bounties alive in the past but none aren't as powerful to master dark magic like Olga herself. This will be a challenge but notice something off. The dark energy around him feels lacking in a way like it's getting weaker; he's not sure maybe he's just imagining it.
"Hey Mando!"
Dredgen looks over his shoulder to see It was Hicks getting his attention
"Hicks." The Mandalorian greeted as he got close
"What are you doing?" He asks
Dredgen went back looking at the castle
"Looking for any weakness in the Demon armies pattern"
"Really? Hicks was surprised to hear that and laughed it off " Eager to capture your bounty so soon? You know she's not going anywhere. We got them surrounded."
"That doesn't mean we can just walk right over them."
"Right…." Hicks was a little annoyed at his attitude "So I gotta ask?
"Ask what?"
"You Mandalorians are you really good as the stories say? Overcoming unstoppable odds, hunting the biggest game, having the best armor and weapons, and racking in the pay?"
"That's what my kind has done"
"Yeah But I'm asking you, is it true?" Hicks pressed " Since you are one, many of my men are making bets whether you can capture that Dark Queen."
Dredgen quietly groaned in annoyance. Is that what got Hicks all worried about? Losing a bet?! Not the battle?! He got off the slope and looks at the merc directly to the face
"Worry about your job instead of mine."
Before Hicks could say anything back a grunt got their attention
"Hey Hicks! Vaults need you here! So you do Mando!"
Both Mando and Hicks look at the grunt wondering why Vault needs them for but it was a good thing he came. Hicks was starting to get annoying to Dredgen
"Better not keep your boss waiting," Dredgen said before head where Vault is
Reaching were the Kuroinu leaders he noticed them coming.
"Ah, Hicks! Mando! Got some good news we found a way in without getting most of us killed!"
"A backdoor?" Dredgen asked
"Yup. Kin found this back entrance we can use to slip in and get launch a surprise attack"
Dredgen looks at the hidden exit. It was a large double stone wall that had multiple magical runes on it. The young mage was already chanting and after a few minutes, each one began to lit, and slowly the door opened.
Vault smiles at what he sees. "Haha! Nice job Kin!"
Kin backed away from the door with a sense of accomplishment before pushing up his glasses.
"It seems the Dark Queens magic was no match against me"
"Alright, Hicks rally the men!" Vault order
"You got it."
Hicks nodded his head and got the rest of the men, after a short while, many of the Kuroinu were gathered at the hidden entrance. All were equipped with their weapons and gear
Dredgen quickly checks on himself to see he's ready. His range weapons all loaded, his blades sharpened and got his various bombs and potions ready at hand. He's all set.
"Okay men!" This is it! Vault shouted " The Dark Queen would never expect this! Mando you're with me on the frontlines, Hicks in the middle with the men, and Kin you're covering our rear and giving us support. It's time to collect our payday everyone!
Vault doesn't need to Dredgen twice. In fact, our Bounty hunter wanted to be in the frontlines what kind of Mandalorian he would be if he didn't. He pulled out his short iron sword and dagger
They all marched in with Vault and Mandalorian leading the assault. An eerie silence and the sound of their own footsteps were all they heard putting a few on edge.
In front of them was a platoon of mixed goblins. There were the regular small little ones that made most of them. They're easy to kill but deadly for their numbers and if you underestimate them. And the others were Hobgoblin almost tall as an average human. Unlike their smaller counterparts, these types of goblins are somewhat sentient, they know how to use weapons and wear armor.
The little goblins roared and charged. So did Vault and his men, it was an all-out battle.
Vault swung his black greatsword and sliced a group of them in 1 swing. Hicks with his twin daggers taking out the ones that passed his leader. Kin stayed in the back, providing support to the Kuroinu with healing magic and with fireballs and lighting.
Dredgen charged and swung his sword and dagger at a group. Managing to take out a few quick, mostly the little ones, the ones he needs to look out for is the Hobs.
A Hobgoblin swung its blunt weapon but Dredgen backed away. He stabs his dagger into a gut but before he could finish it off he felt a blow to the back by a Hob. Thankfully his armor absorbs the hit he quickly cuts off of the sneaky bastard.
But the Hobgoblin from earlier still alive grabbed Dredgen and pushed him to the wall, applying pressure on him. It got him in the corner, it raised its fist and punched him. The Mandalorian manages to dodge it but this Hob is a fighter. It did a backspin but Dredgen ducks and quickly pulls out the dagger still lodge into the Hobs body it let out a shriek of pain from it until it felt the Mandloirans dagger stabbed into its throat
Dredgen then felt a Hob from behind grabbing his cape pulling him down to the ground. He quickly kicks the Hob in the head knocking it back before it could even raise its weapon
He looks up to see another Hob going for him. He quickly got up and used his flamethrower vambraces lighting 1 on fire. It screams echo throughout the cave. Dredgen then fired his rope launcher at the other hobs it wrapped around its neck tight the Mandaliarn then pulled it towards him causing it to fall in front of him and dropping his weapon.
Dredgen quickly flips both his sword and dagger and stabs right into the Hobs skulls. The Bounty Hunter pulls out his weapons and looks around the fighting around was over that was the last of them. He turns around to see many of the Kuroinu with a look of awe or shock on their face
Vault holding his large greatsword over his shoulder had an impressed look on his face
"Damn you Mandalorian are good as the stories say!"
"The fight has just started Vault," Dredgen says while whipping the blood off his blades
"Hmph You're right. "The Merc Leader turns around to his men "Alright men, you heard the Mandalorian! We got a job to finish! CHARGE!"
The Kuroinu and the Mandalorian went bursting through the doors and began fighting anything and everything that got in their way. They had caught many of the demons off guard for they didn't expect the Kuroinu to pop out from nowhere, and by the time they managed to arm themselves, the Kuroinu had made a significant dent in their numbers.
Dredgen and Vault, flanked by Hicks and Kin cut their way through the castle reaching the throne room. They came upon many demons, mostly orcs and imps, but they also fought against ogres, goblins, and gargoyles. They had a variety of savage beasts too, such as Cerberus, horned bears, and even—
"Is that a Chimera!?"Hicks shrieked.
From the ceiling, a monstrous beast with two heads, that of a lion and a goat, the body of a lion, dragon like wings, and a snake for a tail, flew down and roared at the intruders.
"Unbelievable. Olga actually managed to tame one of those things?" Kin said in fascination. He raised his glasses slightly to peer at the creature's furry and scaly body
Dredgen staring at the large creature he never fought something this large 's got his blood pumping in him he gripped tight on his blade but before could attack the beast Vault stopped him
"Mando this our fight, not yours! We'll give you an opening to the Throne Room!"
Dredgen for a moment was surprised to see Vault stopping him. But he's right this is not his fight he has a job to do.
"Men! Keep that thing busy! Vault order"
Vaults men, some without any hesitation did what they were ordered and drew the attention of the large beast the best they could. But the Chirmeria is a resilient one whatever attempt the Kuroinu did, resulted in many getting whipped away, stomped, and even eaten by it; not a single one was able to get around it to flank it. Even with Kins fireball and lighting attacks, it did little to no effect
Vault grits his teeth in anger "Damn it! This thing is annoying!
Dredgen knew this was taking too long; the Dark Queen may have escaped already. He needs to get in that throne room!
"Vault you may wanna order your men to their cover eyes for this!"
"What?"
"Just do what I say!"
Before Vault could say what the Mandalorian was gonna do, he then sees him pulling out a strange ball of sort out from his pouch. Instantly Vault knew right away it was a bomb of sort but nothing he has seen before and knew what he was gonna do.
"Men Cover your eyes!"
Vault and his men quickly cover their eyes as Dredgen tosses his flashbang bomb near the Chmiras face. It made a beam of light blinding the Chimera causing it to scream giving a short window
Dredgen took the opportunity and ran past it and headed down a long hallway. Where three orcs were standing guard to the Throne Room
Dredgen quickly sheath his sword and daggers and pulls out his spearbolt just as 1 approaches him. It swung its sword at him. Our Bounty Hunter took a step back dodging its attack he then luges his spearbolt at the orc but the brute stopped him by grabbing the frame. The Orc mockingly laughs at the Mandalorian to stop its weak attack
But Bounty Hunter wasn't unfazed by its laughter; he let out a chuckle which caught off the orc until he felt a jolt of electricity to its body. coming from the tip of the spear through it. It screamed in agony letting go of the Mandalorian spear. Dredgen took this opportunity to kick it in its shin strong enough to get the Orc on its knees.
The Mandalorian then used the butt of his weapon against the Orcs face, knocking out some it's teeth before slashing its throat with the blade of his spear, killing it.
The other 2 lets out a raging roar to see one of their brothers to kill by a human and charge right at him
One Orc slash with its large sword, Dredgen blocks with the frame of his weapon but this Orc quickly grabbed the Mandalorian by the helm with its other hand
The Orc Gripped tight but Dredgen didn't feel that thankfully his helmet even though not Beskar was strong enough to protect him. The Orc lifting him off the ground and throws him into the wall hard
"Ow." Dredgen groaning from the pain he had to quickly suck it up as he sees the Orc coming to him to deliver the finishing blow
Still sitting on the ground and with no time to get up and defend himself Dredgen quickly lifts up his spearbolt and fires at the Orc
On impact it made a loud pinging noise as the Orc was completely disintegrated, no remains were left, only its makeshift rag for its clothing and its large sword on the ground.
The third orc's eyes widen probably in shock to see his brother vanish in an instance. Anger to see his 2 brothers defeated by this pathetic human it lets out a battle cry and charges at the Mandalorian. Dredgen still unable to get up he quickly grabs a disrupter round from his bandolier and loads it into his spearbolt.
The Mandalorian fires and the results were the same as before. The Orc disintegrated and its rag and weapons were left on the ground.
Dredgen slowly gets up, he quickly shakes it off the pain and puts his spearbolt away. He looks at the entrance and his real fight is behind that door. He pushes through the large doors and this will be it.
The Mandalorian entered into a very large room that was shrouded in darkness. A long pathway was illuminated by numerous torches that were spaced between giant stone pillars that were in the middle of a large pool.
Reaching to the throne one sat upon it Olga Discordia herself and standing by her side is Chole her handmaiden
Dredgen heard stories about her appearance and they were no exaggeration. They were beautiful, he'll admit. Both dark elves with mesmerizing bodies, and chocolate-like skin. Olga with sharp golden eyes, her hair long and black covering her right eye, and F cup size breast. Chole red eyes, her hair a light blond color with a right side ponytail and D cup size breast
Their attire is a bit revealing like Celestine and the Shield knights. Olga has a silver crown with dark jewelry. Around her shoulders, she wore a large black and gold multi-layer cloak, underneath that a two strapless dark purple corset that barely holds and covers her large breasts. To go with the corset a pair of dark purple leggings and armbands. Above a black thong, she wore an odd magic symbol that was placed underneath her bellybutton. In her hand, she held a black staff carrying a red jewelry
Chole, Her attire is almost similar to Olga; she had a dark blue jacket covering her shoulders and upper arms. A dark blue corset that was connecting her blue leggings by red straps, a black thong, and a pair of brown leather boots.
Both sides stared at each other for a while until one of them finally spoke
A single human dare enters my throne room alone? Olga asks I don't know whether to be amused or insulted.
Perhaps he thought he could best you, my Lady. Chole added with her arms cross
Dredgen remained silent; he looks at the black scepter in Olga's hand that could easily wipe him out if he's not careful and also there is her Handmaiden he needs to worry about as well.
Olga continued to stare at him and he could tell he was overwhelmed by her beauty and presence, based on the fact he was as stiff as a board. However, he seemed much more . . . in control than most men who first lay eyes here were. His stance also said that he not only recognized her womanly traits but was prepared to fight as well. He had his hands near his weapon ready at all times. She examined him a bit and to her surprise when she recognized the armor design he's wearing.
"A Mandalorian you are?" The Dark Queen asks.
"A M-Mandalorian! Chole shock to hear that they have one of greatest of warriors among them
"You are correct I am one" Dredgen politely nods his head "..Olga Discordia"
Olga was surprised to hear that but was intrigued by it "I see I haven't seen one of your kind in a long time and thought it be extinct but to see one again and it part of those Dogs invading my home Mandalore has really fallen to low standards
"You are mistaken your Highness I'm not one of those Dogs I'm just a tag along. I'm here on behalf of Lady Celestine"
Olga raised a brow "Celestine?"
"That's correct" Dredgen nods." She promised me a Substantial reward to capture and bring you to her alive."
"You wretched human!" Chole shouted her eyes piercing at Dredgen while gritting her teeth "You dare such a thing against my Queen for a reward!?"
"I'm a bounty hunter. It's what I do for a living." Dredgen said back to the Handmaiden
The Dark Queen hums at this "Celestines sends a single bounty hunter after me and it's a Mandalorian? How interesting but tell me do you really believe you can complete this bounty for her?"
"I gave her my word, I will do my best to do so and intend to honor it" Dredgen said with a strong sense of resolve in his voice.
Olga stared at the Mandalorian a bit more until she let out a laugh surprising her Handmaiden as well
"M-my Lady?"
The Dark Queen finished laughing before she flicked her long hair "Hmph..It amusing to see a bounty hunter with a code of honor these days but since you are no ordinary bounty hunter but rather a Mandalorian one I have a proposition for you that will interests you
Dredgen was surprised to hear that. "What are you proposing?"
Olga smiles at his question "A duel of honor. You Mandalorians have a tradition for one on one combat. If you manage to defeat my Handmaiden Chole in combat….I'll surrender to you and come quietly.
"My L-Lady!?"
Chole obviously shocks at her Queens proposal
A duel? Why are you willing to do such a thing since I'm here to capture you?
You're a Mandalorian that's why. Your ancestry had saved many of my people long ago before even you were born and because of that, your kind has earned my respect.
I'm honored to hear that from you.
"Do you accept my proposal?"
Dredgen stood still for a moment and an alternative has been presented to him to bring Olga without any problems. All he has to do is defeat her Handmaiden Chole in combat, he has heard of Chole's combat prowess from others. They say she is formidable and ruthless to her opponent especially to men in particular. Even a high-rank Shield Knight has troubles dealing with her. But Dredgen is a Mandalorian; to battle against someone like her is a worthy opponent to him
"Very well...I accept this duel of honor"
Olga smiles at his answer. Very well, Chole.
"Y-Yes Your Highness!" Chole standing firm at her Queens summon
"Prepare yourself for your duel against this warrior.
"As you wish." The Handmaiden bows her down and processes to walk down the steps
Chole walking down the steps she looks at Dredgen. So this is a Mandalorian she thought. She had heard stories about them and if they are true this will be difficult for her. She has slain many warriors in the name of her Queen but never she had once faced a Mandalorian and never thought she would.
The Handmaiden stands opposite sides from Dredgen she pulls out her weapon, a pair of twin daggers and enters her stance
"Prepare you Human filth! I won't allow you to capture my Queen!"
"We'll see about that," Dredgen said as he did the same thing.
With both standing opposites from one another Olga acting as the ref, she raised her hand and signals began.
Chole right away charged at the Mandalorian letting out a battle cry. She fiercely swings her twin daggers at him. Dredgen defends with his sword and dagger counter-attacking the Handmaiden was proven to be difficult for everything he tries she sees it coming and dodges or blocks it.
The Handmaiden was fast with her attacks and she kept the pressure on him. Dredgen blocking, and dodging her attacks he can see the stories about her skills are true without any doubt.
Olga watching the whole thing unfolds. Her Handmaiden is really going on the offensive as our Mandalorian was on the defensive. She observes Dredgen, his movement, his style, and can tell he was trained by Mandaliraons. It is almost nostalgic for her to see a Mandalorian in combat and wonders how this will play out.
The Handmaiden and the Mandalorian were good but only one shall be the winner here. Both charge and clashed their weapons against each other
Both pressing their weapons against each other hard, trying to push away one another. The Handmaiden giving everything she's got. She can't lose to this human especially that he's a Mandalorian. She has to win for her Queens safety!
Chole pushing hard she then felt a kick from Dredgen breaking away their clash. Catching her footing only for a second. The Mandalorian fires his rope launcher at the Handmaiden. It wrapped around her entire body tight preventing her from moving.
"Grr such a dirty trick!"
The Mandalorian didn't care what she said; he did a charging boot kick, knocking her to the steps near Olga's throne, dropping her weapon.
Rolling down the steps Chole still wrapped in the tight rope struggling to break free the best could but unable to. She looks up in horror to see the Mandalorian with his sword up ready to strike her down. Dredgen swings his sword down at -
"Wait!"
Olgas voice echoes in the Throne Room causing Dredgen to stop mid-swing, his sword inches away from Chloe's chest. The Mandalorian slowly turns his head to the Dark Queen and it was shocking to him
Olga stood up from her throne, the look of fear was all over her face. She shaking until she was able to collect herself. Dredgen stood still like a statue waiting for her until the Dark Queen had to swallow her pride"
"I...I have seen enough to know who is the victor. Please spare Chloe's life."
"My L-lady don't!" Chole protested "I am willing to give my life to you! Don't surrender to thi-"
"Chole that is enough." Olga stopped her "You were clearly bested by this warrior. You are the Victor "Mandalorian Please I ask again spare my Handmaidens life"
Dredgen stood still for a moment; she really cared about her Handmaiden to even go so far as to stop the duel and plead with him to spare Chole's life. He couldn't help but admire that.
"Very well. I'll spare her. I'm only here for you."
He backed away from the handmaiden and sheathed his weapons
Olga sighed in relief and smiled a little at the bounty hunter's honorable act. She approached Dredgen "I am a Queen of my word. I surrender to you Mandalorian and will come quietly to Celestine.
The Dark Queen hands the Mandalorian her black scepter almost immediately upon grabbing it he feels the dark magic from it. It was overwhelming but not as much he thought it would be which was strange he thought.
Olga, now unarmed, looks at Dredgen with a request " I will not do anything to escape during the return. I would also like for you to bring to Chole with us"
Dredgen slowly turns to Chole who was still on the ground wrapped in rope glaring at him "Her?"
"Yes I rather not leave her in the hands with those filthy dogs"
Dredgen gave it some thought His job was to bring the Dark Queen to Celestine that was it. Bringing her Handmaiden along with them would be more trouble for with the time he has spent with the Kuroinu the way they act and such will leave a bad taste in his mouth and maybe he'll get a bonus for bringing her as well.
"Very well I will bring you both with me"
The Dark Queen smiles again 'Thank you again warrior as I said I am a Queen of my word and will go with you to see Celestine.
Shortly after Vault and his Kuroinu storm the Throne Room. To their shock they see the Mandalorian holding the Dark Queens' magical staff in his hand and having both dark elves in cuffs. They all cheered in victory, Olgas Demon army has surrendered, the war is over and it will be time for a new beginning for all.

And Done! This was a long chapter but I had fun writing it!
The Mandalorian lore I will be using will be a kind of mix with the Disney Canon and Legends. Like in Legend Mandalorian armor color has its own meaning and I might use that.
The Darksaber will of course be in the story. Don't know which bastard will have it maybe Vault or Grave Levantine.
Here's a list of WIP Beskar armor upgrade ideas I have Keep in mind these are not final and might change when I get to that part. If you have any suggestions for armor upgrades let me know and I'll consider it!
Beskar Helmet: Thermal sight to spot heat signatures and see through smoke. T-Visor turns blue when active like the clone commandos.
Beskar Vambraces will have a Hidden Gun, Dart Launcher, and Phantom Blade. Basically Assassin's creed
Beskar knuckle plates have a small retracted blade for close kills or covert kills like the clone commandos or clone assassins has
Beskar Jetpack or Hoverboots? Maybe with a magical rune that grants flight. Don't know yet.
