It's the very next day Dredgen, Olga, and Chole have crossed the border and now in Shield Kingdom territory. Now they just need to make their way to the White Citadel and perhaps to encounter a Shield Knight patrol along the way to help our Bounty Hunter to escort them back.
Currently, the 3 were still at a camp its morning right now and they were having some breakfast Chole manages to scrouge Mandalorian is up and well, he made some crude repairs to his damaged armor with some tools he had at his disposal but our Bounty Hunter can tell his armor has lost its integrity from the damage he sustains from the Blood Wolf he'll need to begin again after this job is complete
How are you doing Dredgen? Olga asks the Mandalorian who was tuning his flintlock
"I'm doing fine. He replies " but I feel like I should ask you that."
"Oh? The Dark Queen raised a brow "why is that?"
"We're almost to the White Citadel, are you both….feeling a little nervous?"
The Dark Queen paused at his question until she let out a small laugh "Hmph to set foot in the den of my long enemy to discuss peace with me is…..presumptuous. And given the situation, it's uncertain if Celestine's colleague would want to discuss such a thing.
"My Lady." Chloe speaking up "I am willing to take whatever punishment in your place. I will not allow the Shield Kingdom to lay a hand on you. I am willing to give my life to you
No Chloe. Olga said "Whatever the Shield Kingdom has in store for me I will be the one who bears it. You should not"
"B-But!"
"That is final Chloe." Olga sounding very frim about it
The Handmaiden was hesitant about this but her Queen sounded very determined to accept whatever the outcome is "As..you you wish My Lady"
Olga tried to hide that she doesn't seem worried about what will happen and she's willing to accept whatever the Shield Kingdom has in store for her but Dredgen can tell she is. He knows Celestine too is worried about this the Mandalorian is hoping the Goddess will have a solution and if she doesn't, well things will not look good for everyone in the future.
The Mandalorian sighs at that thought "Well whatever happens I'm hoping the outcome of this will be something beneficial for you and Chole rather than a bloody one."
The Dark Elves smiled a little to hear that from him even though he was the one who brought them here they still appreciate he seems to care about them.
"Well, then we should get moving." Dredgen stood up and hostler his gun
"Very well Dredegn" Olga agreed as she and her Handmaiden stood up "Lead the way."
Dredgen nods his head but just as they were about to leave the Dark Elves ear perked up hearing something. Our Bounty Hunter took notice of it he quickly turns around and scans the area
He didn't see anything yet but soon heard what sounded like horses riding; he then spotted a small battalion of knights riding horses straight for them. It was the Shield Knights he can tell it was them by their armor and the banters they were holding had the kingdom's logo on it.
"Stay behind me. "Dredgen said to the Dark elves. Olga and Chole did as he said the Dark Queen held her staff and her Handmaiden had her hand her weapons if they tried to do anything.
The small battalion stopped in front of the Bounty Hunter. Some of the knights scowled at the sight of the Dark Queen and Handmaiden behind the Mandalorian; the Dark Elves did the same to the knights as well. After a brief moment approaching to the front of the battalion is the Shields Knight Commander Claudia Lavelitan she looks down at the Bounty Hunter
"It seems we have found you, Bounty Hunter." She said
"Lady Claudia." Dredgen greeted. "I presume Lady Celestine sent you to find us?
"Indeed, she has told me what has happened." Claudia then glared at the damaged armor on the Bounty Hunter. "It seems your armor is worse for wear"`
"It'll hold for now. Here to escort us back to the White Citadel?"
"Correct Lady Celestine has ordered me to do so. "The Commander then gazed at the Dark Elves behind him who were looking back at her. "It seems you really did manage to capture the Dark Queen and her Handmaiden as well."
Claudia looked impressed and surprised by this so were a few of her own knights too that this Bounty Hunter managed to capture the powerful Dark Queen and her deadly Handmaiden. Now that they are here she can now those 2 into custody
"My Knights can handle those 2 for you Bounty Hunter.
The Shield Princess signals one of her knights. One got off their horse and was holding a pair of crude cuffs. The Dark Elves' faces scorn at the sight of it, after traveling a dangerous wasteland and crossing the border only to be put in cuffs.
"No." Dredgen stopped her knight before she could pass him
"Hm?"
"Cuffs won't be necessary Lady Claudia"
Claudia snapped her tongue at what she hears "Sir Dredgen this isn't time to play games. Those 2 are enemies to the Shield Kingdom and I intended to bring them in with every precaution.
The Bounty Hunter stared at the Shield Knight Commander he understands why Claudia is eager to bring Olga and Chole in given the history however that is his job to do not hers
"With all due respect Lady Claudia you weren't the one who was quested to capture Olga Discordia by your highness" Dredgen pointing out it he was the one hired to do this " As of now my job isn't complete I still have yet to bring Olga to Lady Celestine. You and your Knights can help by escorting us back to the WHitle Citadel but I won't allow you or any to do anything towards them without my say first.
Claudia clenched at her horse rein gritting her teeth. She can't believe what the Bounty Hunter is saying! He wasn't gonna let her apprehend the Dark Queen and her Handmaiden doesn't understand who he has this is of great importance for the Shield Kingdom?! However, the Dark Elves behind him were glad the Mandalorian is going that far to protect them
Before Claudia could say something back One of her knights from behind came to her.
"My Lady we shouldn't be keeping Lady Celestine and the others waiting"
Claudia paused until she sighed her knight is right she knew they're all wasting time arguing here. She looked back at the Mandalorian
"Fine but if anything happens. It's your responsibility Bounty Hunter"
"It always has been from the start."
The Mandalorian looks back at the Dark Elves and nods his head to them telling them it's time to go. Before they hop on the horse together Claudia provided Olga and Chloe big hooded cloaks for them to wear to hide their identity for when they arrive at the White Citadel an angry mob of citizens won't try to lynch them on sight
The journey back to the White Citadel was long and uneventful if not a bit tense for everyone. Dredgen rode his horse next to Claudias while her knights formed a circle around them. The Bounty Hunter can feel the harsh stares at them but not to the Mandalorian to the Dark Elves. Olga and Chloe were often given small insults to them but never acknowledge them for knights they have such childish behavior although it was getting annoying to them
Claudia kept a close eye on the bounty hunter. Celestine had passed along his warnings to the rest of the Shield Princess Knights, who've agreed to hold a conference in Ken to discuss Vault's betrayal in full detail.
But despite the warning, this Bounty Hunter gave to the Shield Kingdom Claudia doesn't exactly trust him. Given that Vault is a Mercenary and Dredgen a Bounty Hunter, those professions are more or less the same to her. And with the shocking betrayal of the largest mercenary company in Eostia, it has gotten the Shield Commander wary of freelancer types. Her Highness Celestine has much faith in Dredgen because he is a Mandalorian known to keep their words and are honorable warriors but she has her doubts now.
After many hours they all finally arrived at the White Cital around mid-afternoon. The guards on the gate saluted their commander and let them on through. The city was buzzing with life as usual
Claudia and her Knights were greeted by many citizens as they continue their way to the Holy Temple. Some waved at them, happy to see one of the Shield Princess and her knights made a safe return. Thankfully it didn't seem the citizens didn't recognize Olga and Chloe with their hooded cloaks on but the Dark Elves can feel the many eyes upon them, some were curious, and some were resentful they can feel.
The escort made it to their destination Claudia, Dredgen and her knights reached the stables and all got off their mount.
"Notify her Highness that we have arrived" Claudia said to one knight
"Yes Commander." With that one of her knights bowed their heads and went to do what they were requested.
The Shield Princess then turns her attention to the Mandalorian
You're with me, Bounty Hunter.
"Lead the way"
Dredgen, Olga, and Chloe followed the Shield Commander into the Temple. As the 4 were walking through the halls they passed a few clergies, and knights some of them were whispering to each other. Probably heard rumors they finally capture the Dark Queen with the service of the Bounty Hunter they see now.
Finally reaching their destination there were maids waiting by a large door as the 4 got close, they bowed their heads and opened the door for them.
Entering the meeting room there was a large round table in the middle and seated at the table was the rest of the Shield Princess waiting for them.
Dredgen examine the other Shield Princesses he has never seen them in person only hearing stories about their appearances and well it seems it's true
Sat to the far left of Celestine is a fair-skinned girl in her late teens.. Her hair was long blond reaching to her waist, she also had 2 small white hair buns on the side, her eyes light blueish purple, she had a nice figure and C-cup size breasts. She wore silver and gold armor that covered her shoulder, arms, legs, and part of her waist almost similar to Claudia's appearance but with more clothing, she had a white and blue short skirt and blue bra. She had a self-righteous look
That is Alicia Arcturus, a young knight she leader of Feoh, one of the 7 Fortress Cities across Eosita
Sitting next to her was a girl who looked to be of similar age to the blonde knight, maybe a few years younger. She had pale-white skin, her hair is pink wavy and long, her eyes a bright blue color, she is a bit short, almost around Alica's height, and D-cup size breasts. She wore a beautiful white and pink dress but on the lower half, it's slightly exposed showing parts of her pink panties.
Her name is Prim Fiorire, Alicia's younger cousin although Alica considers her a sister to her. The Fortress City she is leader of is Ur.
The next Shield Princess who sat next to Prim is almost opposites from one another. The woman seemed to be in her early twenties, maybe near the same age for our Bounty Hunter or the same. Her hair was red-pinkish and short, her eyes crimson red and her cup size is E. She wore a red V-shape long sleeve leotard with a fur collar showing off her goodies, a black neck choker with a tag, a black headband, brown leather gloves, and belt, navy blue leggings, and black leather boots.
The woman's name is Maia,she was once a former mercenary and member of the Kuroinu. She is known as the Red Queen Mercenaries and leader of the Fortress City Rad
Beside her was the smallest of the Shield Princess, and the one most easily confused for her child physique but in actuality, this Shield Princess is more older than she looks. Nowhere near as Celestine thought but still is older than the average human. This person is a Halfling, an all female-race known only to give birth to only females when bonding with their mate they chose. This Halfling has a small orange tail and her eyes a vibrant maroon color. Her outfit consisted of she wore just a large green cloak that barely covers part of her small exposed body, and a large green hat with red ribbons holding white puffballs hanging on the sides and has a small leather that is covering her lady parts.
Her name is Luu-Luu, Leader of the Halflings and the city Fortress of Ansur
Finally, sat to the far left of Celestine was the last of the Shield Princess. She is probably the most exotic one from the group, a Shrine Maiden hailing from the Far Eastern lands of Eostia. This Shield Princess has black short hair with two white ribbons tied to the side of her, eyes dark orange amber, and D cup size breast. She wore a traditional top Shrine Maiden red and white robes exposing her lower half showing a tight white fundoshi. She had a calm demeanor on her face yet her aura gave off a graceful feel.
She is A Head Shrine Maiden Kaguya leader of the Fortress City Thorn.
All without a doubt they're all look very attractive.
The door closed behind them right away Claudia bows her head to her highness. The Dark Elves also lower their hoods, no point of hiding since they know why they're here.
"Claudia, I am glad for your safe return." Celestine then turns her eyes on our Mandalorian she lets out a relieved smile to see him once again "And you as well Dredgen"
"Your Highness" The Mandalorians place a hand onto his chest and nods his head
Celestine then turns her attention to Olga she form an elegant smile to her.
"Olga, it is good to see you here alive and well and to your Handmaiden too. Let me be the first to welcome you into the White Citadel. The Goddess gestured to the open chair at her left, between her and Kaguya. "Please take a seat.
Chloe pulled out the chair for her Queen, waiting until Olga was sat comfortably before pushing it in again. The Handmaiden stood at her Queens right, returning the glares sent by some of the Shield Princess. Chloe maintains her hostile expression slowly turning into a calm stoic one to match her Queen.
Claudia took the open seat between Alicia and Celestine, her steely countenance softened somewhat by the familiar faces around her. Dredgen himself received a few curious looks from the women at the table. He maintained a relaxed stance, though he was wary of the hostile looks sent at the Dark Elves.
Celestine clapped her hands together, gathering everyone's attention. "Now that everyone is present this meeting will begin. First, let me introduce this man This is Dredgen Jager he is the Guild's top Bounty Hunter here in Ken and I hired him for the important task of capturing Olga Discordia. As you can see from his appearance he is a Mandalorian."
Nearly all of Shield Princess's eyes widened to hear that. Celestine expected that kind of reaction from them. They were shocked yet intrigued to see Mandalorian these days
"I understand some of you would be surprised by this given they are known to be the greatest group of warriors all across Eostia long ago and haven't been seen since but that is not the reason why I summoned you all here. Dredgen can you please tell us the events that transpired during your hunt."
The Mandaloiran nods his head and steps forward
"Hello there as you all heard from Lady Celestine I was hired by her to capture Olga Discordia at her home, the Black Citadel with the aid of...Vaults and his Kuroinu. We fought our way through, I confronted Olga in her throne room and she offered to come quietly with me if I managed to defeat her Handmaiden Chloe in a duel of honor. Needless to say, I was the victor of the duel and shortly after Kuroinu had taken over the Black Citadel."
"Vault and his men celebrated their victory and stayed in the Fortress for a few days to loot and recuperate. The Kuroinu's job was finished but mine was still not. I secretly notified Lady Celestine about the news with the Tele-stone she gave me. I waited for Vault to send a group messenger to officially give the news to the Shield Kingdom. During that time I kept watch over Olga and her Handmaiden"
"But as more days passed Vault didn't send a messenger yet. Something was off. I noticed most of his men were eager for something. Just as I was running out of patience Vault wanted to have a word with me in the throne room."
"When I entered the throne I was shocked to see the Demon army standing alongside Kuroinu and Vault sitting on the throne. Confronting Vault about it, he said he made a deal with them to join his army"
Just as Dredgen said a fist slammed onto a table it was Maia and she doesn't look too happy at what she hears.
"Bullshit you're lying Vault would never recruit the Demons into the Kuroinu!" She points at Dredgen
"Maia!" Claudia shouted "Restrain yourself! Let the Bounty Hunter finish before you make an assessment"
Growling slightly Maia obeyed Claudia's order and lowered her arm.
"Dredgen please continue." Celestine said to him
"Right...The reason why Vault recruited the demon army into his ranks is he wanted to start an uprising against the Shield Kingdom to create a Sex Empire were women will knee to every man obeying whatever did they what becoming sex slaves..or worst. He believed he and his men deserve more than a large sum of money for their effort in ending the war. He wanted power even as far as to say they earned it."
"Vault wanted me to join his Sex Empire I took his invitation but I never actually did accept it. I escaped the Black Cidital with Olga and Chloe before anything hinderious happened to them. On the way back we encountered some problems searching parties and near the end a Blood Wolf that nearly killed me hence my damaged armor. After that Lady Claudia found us and here we are."
"Are you finished?" Maia asked tersely, her arms crossed impatiently. "Because I won't listen to another word of your tripe. Do you even listen to yourself? Your bullshit story has you painting one of the greatest mercenaries in Eostia as a villain!"
The Mandalorian briefly stared at the Red Queen before making a small laugh at that claim. His humorous laugh only made Maia growl in anger at him
"What's so funny Bounty Hunter?"
"Oh, I find it amusing that you consider Vault the bastard he is and so his Kuroinu too to be the greatest mercenary company in Eostia considering the fact that most of his men are thugs and scumbags and that you are defending them, well...I should've expected that from you given that you were one of them."
That hit a nerve to the Red Queen
"Gr Why you!"
"Maia"! Claudia shouted at her before she could do anything brash. The Red Queen clenched her fist in utter anger but she managed to control herself. She sat back down.
Dredgen stood there not surprised at the Red Queens' reaction "Like it or not Lady Maia that is the truth I'm telling Vault made a deal with Demon Army and he wants to overthrow the Shield Kingdom to create a Sex Empire with his demon army at his disposal."
Everyone went silent at that
"Can we even trust his word?" Everyone turned their eyes on Alicia who had her arms crossed together. "He's a bounty hunter, mercenary. He'll do anything for money. For all we know this is some kind of ploy by the witch there."
Chloe glared daggers at the blond knight for calling her Queen a witch but Alica remained very content about it
"With all due respect Lady Alica." The Mandalorian looked directly at the blond knight which made her jump a little at his gaze but still maintained her composure "This is not some ploy set up by Olga.
"Alica" Celestine spoke up "I understand you might find it hard to believe Dredgen words and some of you as well that is why I've procured this in advance"
With a snap of her fingers, a hexagonal mirror floated away from the wall behind her, coming to a stop at the center of the table. Celestine then turns to the Mandalorian and place ahead near his helmet
"Dredgen can you please try to remember everything that you've just told us. It will be projected on the mirror and allow us to see what events you experienced this will prove the truth of your words"
Before the Mandalorian did, Dredgen briefly looked at the floating mirror on the table he has heard of such a device so they will see what he has seen? This will get interesting
From the Goddess's hand, a small glow emitted and slowly formed an orb coming from the Bounty Hunter. Celestine then motion the orb to the floating mirror which it absorbed it and the mirror slowly began playing images
It showed a first-person view from Dredgen's eyes. Many brief images came to the mirror showing the start of it from the Mandalorian being informed about the job by Greef, to accepting the bounty to capture the Dark Queen, and receiving the Beskar as a commission from Celestine which he shortly got made into a pauldron by his Armor that he is currently wearing.
Many of the Shield Princesses were shocked to see the Bounty Hunter be commissioned Beskar by their Goddess and to be made into armor which they thought was impossible. The Mirror continues to show more images to Dredgens little scrap with Vaults men in the wasteland, him raiding the Black Citadel alongside the Kuroinu
The Shield Princesses were in awe at how Dredgen fought; it was way different from any of them they had seen; he fought like a Mandalorian. Our Bounty Hunter was Fast and Agile, graceful yet devastating, perceptive, resourceful, and relentless. Even his equipment was something they have never seen before, especially the spearbolt. Luu-Luu had star eyes when she saw it vaporized 2 orcs into nothing with ease but as for the others they were shocked or horrified to see such a weapon like that exist
Then came Dredgen confronting the Dark Queen in her Throne Room. Olga offered to come quietly with the Mandalorian in a duel with Chloe which the Shield Princess was more shocked to see the bounty hunter was the victor against such a strong opponent.
Finally, the moment of truth was revealed to them. Vault confession of his plan to betray the Shield Kingdom, striking a deal to the Demon Army to join his revolution of a Sex Empire. Nearly all of the Shield Princess faces were dark, and furious at what they were hearing. Olga made a scorn expression when Vault even tried to get the Mandalorian to join his dishonorable dogs
The images faded as Dredgen's memories came to an end. Maia fell back into her seat, her face frozen in an expression of she couldn't believe it. Her former leader has shown his true colors.
"No...Vault,How..could you?"
Dredgen watched as Maia tried to process the whole thing. Guess she was very fond of Vault and was never aware of what kind of man he really is.
Celestine gathered everyone's attention again "Now that we have irrefutable proof that Dredgen is telling the truth and of the Kuroinu betrayal, we must prepare for war."
"How horrible," Prim said sounding sad, "another war, so soon after the last"
Alicia gave her cousin a comforting pat on her shoulder, Don't worry Prim. This war won't last centuries like the last"
Luu-Luu grinned barely to contain her excitement. "Ooo I can't wait! I barely got to do any fighting in the last war"
"But before we discuss any battle plans of the sort." Kaguya said stoically. The head Shrine Maiden started at the Dark Elves present in the room with silent contempt. "There is something we must address first"
The Dark Queen started back at Kaguya, meeting her gaze with her own quiet disdain.
"Kaguya is right." Claudia agreed. "For us to focus on this new war against the Kuroinu we must deal with Olga Discordia punishment here and now."
Prim seemed to be disgusted with each idea." Can't..Can't we just imprison her for life?"
Alica turned to her cousin with a stern look" Many lives have been lost due to our war against Olga's reign. She has to face the consequences, Surely you understand that Prim?"
A sully look fell over Prim's face. "I do, but..."
Celestine closed her eyes trying to contemplate the matter. Nearly all of them wanted Olga dead for her crimes against the Shield rather than make peace like she couldn't bear the thought of doing such heinous action against her. The Goddess then turns her attention the Bounty Hunter
"Dredgen." The Goddess calling him "What is your opinion on what should we do with Olga Discordia"
The Mandalorian tilted his head at her "My opinion on this?"
The rest of the Shield Princess were surprised to see their Goddess asking him even the Dark Elves too.
"Lady Celestine, why are you asking the Bounty Hunter for such a matter?" Claudia asks "You shouldn't get this bounty hunter involve in this."
"I understand that all of you have your own decisions but I would like to hear Dredgen opinion as well. After all, he was the one I hired to capture Olga without his efforts this meeting would've never happened."
Claudia and some of the others were unsure to hear a bounty hunter's opinion on such a matter especially since he is a Mandalorian that knows little of but they comply with their highness wishes.
"Do you really want my opinion on this Lady Celestine?" Dredgen asks
"Yes." Celestine sounded very firm about it
All eyes were on the Mandalorian. Dredgen has the leaders of this Kingdom looking at him waiting to hear what they should do with Olga and possibly her Handmaiden as well. He does not know if It would be taken seriously but he will say his piece of the matter and he already has his thoughts about it way before they arrived here
"Then... I suggest enlisting Olga Discordia and her handmaiden Chole aid."
….
"You what?!" The one shouting was of course the Blond Knight Alica shocked at what she hears and so were the others
"Enlist their aid." Dredgen repeats
Alicia grits her teeth "Y-you can't be serious! They're the enemy here!"
"Yesterday's enemies are today's potential allies." Dredgen said back "And I believe they can be helpful to your Shield Alliance"
The rest of SHield Princess was surprised to hear such a thing to hear from the bounty hunter.
However Alica wasn't found on such an idea "You really expect us to go with that? Put aside our differences just like that and forget all that woman has done!?"
"No, but given the situation now your Kingdom will need all the help it could get."
"Why do you suggest we need their aid against Vault, Mandalorian?" Kaguya asks him as she stared at the Bounty Hunter intrigued by his opinion
"Olga knows a great deal about the demon army that was once under her control and the wasteland as well. That information can make a difference. " Dredgen explains "Plus she is a powerful dark magic user even though in her... weakened state she can still be of use"
"Her Handmaiden Chole, as some of you already know, is a formidable warrior. I've seen that personally. She can help fight against Vaults Kuroinu, you are wasting valuable resources if you execute them."
Olga and Chloe who were a chair away from the Mandalorian felt a sense of relief and gratitude that he's trying to save them in a way from facing harsh punishment.
However, Alicia scoffs at the idea "We don't need their help. The Shield Kingdom can take on Vault and his new army. If we strike them now we can end this war before it even started". The blond knight sounded very confident about that
"It's not that simple Lady Alicia"
Alicia twitched at his claim. "What makes you say that Bounty Hunter?"
"As I recall your kingdom's army was stretched thin during your war against the Dark Queen here that's why Lady Celestine hired the Kuroinu in the first place. Without them now I would say you're all at a disadvantage now."
"Plus the Kuroinu has been working for your Shield Kingdom for years. And in that time Vault may have recruited some of your own people to his Sex Empire way before this happened. He may already have some among your ranks"
"Impossible!" Alica shouting "Our people are loyal to us They would never betray us and join Vault's idea of a Sex Empire!"
"Sir Dredgen" Claudia spoke up getting his attention " Why do you think we would have traitors among us?
"All warfare is based on deception." The Mandalorian answers before explaining more " Vaults likely told them the same thing he told me, promising them power and such and they're just waiting for the order to stab you all in the back when the time is right."
Nearly all of the Shield Princess were disheartened to hear that. To think one of their own will even dare betray them to join Vaults obscured idea of a Sex Empire
Dredgen can see the expression on the Shield Princess's faces. It was something they did not want to hear but that is a possibility that can happen in war.
The Mandalorian lets an out sigh "Despite his appearance Vault is no fool he didn't plan this betrayal overnight he's been slowly building it up for years gathering allies to his cause. He knows all of you he will use your strength, weakness, even your beliefs to give him an edge against you all."
"So my opinion on this is you all put aside your differences for now and forum not an Alliance together but an Armistice instead. Make a compromise to defeat Vault and his new army."
The Shield Princess was looking at Dredgen shock yet intrigued they didn't expect such a thing from a mere bounty hunter. The one who was the least shock by him was Luu-Luu she was impressed at this Mandaloirans strategic mindset. She thought the stories she read were gonna be somewhat exaggerated but after seeing and hearing everything the Halfing is eager to see more of this Mandalorian in action
As the rest were trying to process what he said Celestine and Olga were smiling a little at him. Dredgen has thought this through as they expected from a Mandalorian. They are not just great warriors but also tacticians too!
Dredgen watches the reset of Shield Princess trying to think over what he said. It may not matter to them but he thinks this is what's best to do in a situation for all.
"I can see his point." The first one who agreed was Kaguya
"Kaguya!" Alicia shouted in shock
"This Mandalorian does make a very valid point." Luu-Luu joining in " It seems pretty stupid if we don't use them to help give us an advantage.
Claudia hung her head as she too nodded at the idea. "As much as I loathe the idea of having the Dark Queens aid, the bounty hunter is right, our forces are stretched thin. We need to make a compromise."
"His idea does seem better." Prim agreeing with his opinion
"Sure, do whatever best." Maia said non-committedly
Alicia couldn't believe that the rest of colleague even Claudia is willing to give the idea of having Olga's aid a chance but even as stubborn she is she could see the benefit of having the Dark Queen help in the war that is about to come
"It seems we have made a decision. "Celestine turned to the Dark Elves, "What do you say, Olga? Are you and your Handmaiden willing to aid us?"
Olga scoffed, as she flipped some stray hair. "It's not like I have much of a choice, do I? If I refuse, I either die or wallow away in some cell. Though I'm not entirely against the idea of me aiding your kingdom. My Handmaiden and I would love to put those dishonorable dogs in the ground.
"Whatever my Queen decides I will stand by it." Chole standing by her Queens decision
"Then we are all in agreement? "Celestine asks as she scans around the table for opposition to find none. She nodded her head
"Good now then..." The Goddess turns her attention to the Mandalorian standing beside her "Dredgen...can we hire your services once more?"
"Once I receive my payment from this job….I may consider it"
"W-wait Lady Celestine" Alicia spoke up " you want to hire this bounty hunter again?
"Yes, the Guild Master selected Dredgen because of his skill and reputation. We all have seen that he is capable and he's been truthful to us. Hiring him to help fight our new war against Vault would be a tremendous help.
"Yeah Alica! Having a Mandalorian on our side would be great!" Luu-Luu shouted as she playfully stared at Dredgen " Plus I wanna see more of what kind of cool toys this bounty hunter has!"
"Although I don't share Luu-Luus excitement for what kind of weaponry this man has. Claudia jumping in conversation "His skills as a hunter can be beneficial for us"
"It does seem foolish for us not to hire his services again." Kaguya agreeing as she stared at the Mandalorian intently
"He..does seem trustworthy Alica." Prim said sounding a bit timid " He did warn us about Vault"
"Hire him if you want I don't care. "Maia said uninterested as her mind is still in the gutter about Vault betrayal
"Alica nearly everyone here is okay with hiring Dredgen. We all seen he can be trusted why is it you are wary of this Bounty Hunter?"
"With all due respect, Lady Celestine if it was just another bounty hunter from the Guild I would've been okay with us hiring one to our cause"
"But?"
Alica turned her to Bounty Hunter looking dead in his eyes. Dredgen can sense where this is going. "That man is Mandalorian. Don't they live for battle, always desire to conquer anyone who stands in their way all for glory and fortune?
"It is their culture, Alica"
"That's what worries me." Alicia sounded concerned " Mandalorians don't share the same values of our Shield Kingdom. Vault even offered him and his people to join his army to give him war against us for money and such. How do we know that Sir Dredgen isn't a part of some elaborate plot of Vaults for his own sake?"
The room went silent, almost deafening at the thought. Most of the Shield Princesses don't know much about the Mandalorians other than the stories they've heard about them. Can they trust this man who is one? Celestine lightly frowned at this, he seemed to be the only one to have any faith in Dredgen. But before she could assure them someone else beat her to it.
"My how ignorant you are Little Girl."
Everyone turned to the Dark Queen in the room who was amused at the situation
"What did you say!" Alica shouted
"You heard me, Little Girl." Olga said in a mocking manner 'Clearly you don't know much about the Mandalorians thinking they're just a bunch of savages, assuming they are just like any group of mercenaries who will do anything for money. To them, money is just a tangible asset that does not motivate them to do what they do."
The Dark Queen looks at our Mandalorian "It is true they desire a worthy battle for that is their way of life but they are not animals. Dredgen here is an honorable warrior, a man of honor who follows the way of Mandalore its codes and traditions"
"When Vault told his plan right away Dredgen tricked him to free my Handmaiden and I and escape from his clutches. He did his job as instructed and completed as intended. He may be the one who captured me for he is a Bounty Hunter you're Goddess hired but he has done more than any of your knights would ever do"
"If you really think he and his kind would join those dishonorable dogs because they do not share your values of a sense of chivalry you have then you truly do not understand them." Olga lets a laugh "Hmph...You should feel lucky that a Mandalorian was even willing to do the job of capturing me for your 'Alliance' otherwise the situation may have been different for all of us"
The other Shield Princesses raised a brow at what the Dark Queen said. What does she mean by that? As for Alicia, she was getting rather more upset at this to be talked down by the Dark Queen
"Why should we feel lucky to have a Mandalorian here?" Alica asks " because they were the greatest warriors long ago if they are how come there aren't that many today?!"
Olga turned her head to Dredgen then to Alica staring at her for a moment and chuckle in amusement at the blond knights questions only making her more agitated
"I take it you aren't aware of what kind of history between the Mandalorians and your 'Shield Alliance' had before the Great Purge?"
Alicia twitched at her question she didn't answer and clenched her fist
Olga chuckles again "It seems you don't Little Girl. The Dark Queen then looks at the other Shield Princesses. "And so do your colleagues as well."
"And what? You know you witch? Alica asks
"Oh I do. "Olga sounded very certain about it " I know what really happened to them. I know the ones responsible for it. THe Dark Queen then slowly avert eyes to Celestine"... and so does your Goddess too."
The Shield Princess turned their heads to Celestine
"Lady Celestine?"
The Goddess didn't reply she had a stern look on her face but not surprised at their reaction
"Care to tell them, Celestine?" Olga asks with a smug look
The Goddess stared at the Dark Queen for a moment they both do know the history of the Mandalorians of their long life she's let out a sigh at this
"I do know also. "The High Elf turned her head to the Mandalorian "But I believe it's best for him to tell, Dredgen you are aware of the history of the Great Purge yes?
The Mandalorian tilted his head at her question strange for the Goddess to ask him "I do Lady Celestine"
"Then...can you please tell everyone here in this room what this….'Alliance' was during the Great Purge long ago"
Before The Mandalorian did he look at the rest of the Shield Princesses, these are leaders of this Kingdom loyal to it without a doubt "Lady Celestine, are you really sure you want me to tell them? I don't think they'll like what I'll say."
"I am sure Dredgen."
Dredgen briefly looked at the Goddess then back to the others. They are definitely not gonna like what he is gonna say, don't know if they will believe it but he will say it anyway.
"Before the Shield Alliance was created it wasn't an Alliance first…..it was an Empire.
Every Shield Princess's eyes widened at what he said.
"A-An Empire!?" Alicia shouted
"Everyone" Celestine spoke in a loud manner…".I know that you are shocked by it but Dredgen is speaking the truth"
Words cannot describe how the Shield Princesses Claudia and Alicia were the most shocked at this revelation. The Shield Kingdom that represents justice, and honor was an Empire?! That can't be! How could they not know such a thing!? Olga had a smirk on her face at everyone's reaction of course this would be a bombshell to them as for Dredgen he expected this kind of reaction from the leaders of the SHield Kingdom
"L-Lady Celestine, you can't be serious!?" Claudia asks in utter disbelief so was Alicia too
"It is the truth, Claudia. The Shield Kingdom was once an Empire long ago and the one responsible for the Great Purge of the Mandalorians." Celestine said as she looks at Dredgen
"Then does that mean that this Mandalorian sees us as enemies?" Alicia asks
"No." Dredgeon spoke up "Your predecessors were enemies to my people but you individuals are not. Though some might not agree with that."
"Everyone "Celestine speaking again in a loud manner " I understand, many of you have questions about this but now is not for that time. Dredgen here is not our enemy. His skills as a Bounty Hunter would do help our new war against Vault."
The other Shield Princesses were still in shock of the news of their Shield Kingdom was once an Empire but they comply with their Highness wishes of hiring Dredgen though he hasn't technically agreed to take the job yet.
"Good then." The Goddess noticed it was already dark outside " I will conclude this conference, It is getting late, We will continue this tomorrow."
The Shield Princesses stood up from their seats, bowed their heads, and processed to exit the room. Leaving only the Mandalorian, The Goddess High Elf, The Dark Queen, and her Handmaiden alone in the room
Celestine breathed a sigh of relief, finally able to relax for a moment.
"Thank goodness that went peacefully." The Goddess turned to The Mandalorian. It was all thanks to you Dredgen that this was possible."
"Just doing what I was hired to do.
Celestine smiled at him but she soon turned her head to the Dark Queen. "It seems you Olga purposely wanted them to know about that."
Olga chuckled in amusement. "It seemed only fair for them to know what your... 'Alliance' was and what they have done to the Mandalorians I wonder how they are going to take it in"
The Goddess stared at the Dark Queen who had a smirk on her face she sighed she gonna a field day explaining to the other Shield Princesses about them being an Empire long ago but before that she turn her attention back to our Bounty Hunter
"As for you Dredgen you have definitely earned your payment. You will receive it tomorrow morning."
"Tomorrow morning?"
"Do not worry, for your wonderful services you did for the Shield Kingdom you can spend the night here in the Holy Temple"
Dredgen titled his head again at what he just heard "You want me?
"Yes we have many rooms for you to stay in you must be exhausted after, what you've done. Think of it as a bonus for your excellent work."
Our Bounty Hunter gave it some thought it's not every day he gets a chance to spend a night in Holy Temple and well it'll be a lot easier to get his payment tomorrow since he'll be already at the Temple. "Very well Lady Celestine I will stay"
"Oh?... "Olga raised a brow as she had a fun idea pop in her head. "Giving the Bounty Hunter a room to stay for the night? If that's the case…" The Dark Queen proceeds to walk to Dredgen and latch onto his arm. "why don't you have Dredgen paired with me and Handmaiden?
Dredgen was caught off by Olga's actions he didn't expect she would something like now! As for Celestine almost twitched at what Olga doing she was still calm but she looked surprising annoyed by it
"That won't be necessary Olga." Celestine said in a stern tone "I will provide a protective spell over your room. Anyone who enters your chamber with the intent to harm you will instantly become paralyzed. Now please let go of Dredgens arm."
"Aww..I was just playing Celestine." Olga said as she let go of the Mandalorian arm "No need for the Goddess to get a little jealous."
Celestine again twitched; she had small red marks on her cheeks but still maintained her composure "I see...My maids will escort you all to your rooms. I wish you all a good night."
The Goddess maids came and escort them all to their own individual rooms
When the Mandalorian entered the room the maids closed the door behind him. Now standing alone in the room Dredgen couldn't help but feel in awe of it. This bedroom was huge and the furniture was all fancy. It even had a balacy to the outside! Completely different from his quarters at his clan's hidden sanctum
Dredgen walked out to a balcony he saw the city lights down below illuminating the streets. It looked beautiful yet It felt strange to him. He spends most of his life down there out in the streets, the frontier facing death constantly for a job he was hired to do or a bounty he's hunting; this is the way he follows it's just, he never thought he would be standing here in Holy Temple of White Citadel home of the Goddess Celestine admiring the view from up here
But today was an eventful day for all of the Shield Princesses. From them to agreeing to make a compromise to have Olga and Chloe's aid in their war against the Kuroinu, to discover that their beloved Shield Kingdom was an Empire and was solely responsible for the Great Purge of the Mandalorians long ago. That is certainly a bombshell for them. Dredgen now is wondering what happens after now once he receives his payment tomorrow and what he's going to do. He's not exactly in a good position given that he pissed off the largest mercenary company in Eostia who will likely have placed a bounty on him, the irony of that. Celestine wanted his services again, which is an option he needs to consider.

Within a split second Dredgen quickly turned around, he sensed someone behind him. The bounty hunter reaches for his weapon but just as he was about to pull out his gun it was an intruder It was Celestine she was taken back by his quick reflexes
"Lady Celestine!?" Dredgen immediately drops his stance; he didn't expect the Goddess to be here. "Forgive me for almost drawing my weapon upon you"
"No no, It's okay Dredgen". Celestine assured him " I should apologize for not making my presence aware of you sooner. The Goddess walked up to the balcony standing next to him.
Dredgen is surprised to see the Goddess here with him "Why are you here?
I just wanted to speak with you in private away from the others. Celestine said as she slowly scooted closer to him. "I wanted to thank you for what you did for Olga and her Handmaiden Chloe. You saved them not just from Vault but helped by giving them a chance to aid us.
"I'm just did what seemed best for their survival and your Shield Kingdom
Celestine smiled at his words "Not many would've done what you have Dredgen. You deserve more than just the Beskar reward I promise you.

Before he could finish Celestine stood in front of him looking directly at his eyes through his visor. Dredgen is taken back by it, at how close she is to him. She looked without a doubt beautiful he was almost infatuated by her appearances
"This reward is from me personally"
The Goddess slowly places both of her hands on his helmet and she can feel the wear from it.
"L-Lady Celestine?"
Celestine didn't reply as she slowly began lifting up his helmet. Our Mandalorian felt the instinct to stop her but couldn't, her divine and graceful aura was too powerful to resist that she was able to remove it completely revealing his face to her.
Lowering his helmet the High Elf took a good long look at his face. His skin is a light pale color not that he's unhealthy or anything, The Bounty Hunter was quite young she knew that already, he looks around in his early 20s or so. His hair was short and black it had dark blue highlights too. His hair was a bit messy from wearing his helmet. His eyes are a sharp silver-gray color and he looks rather handsome to say.
The Goddess then lets out a smile. "So this is what you look like." Before Dredgen could say anything, Celestine slowly leaned in and planted her lips onto his.
Dredgen was caught off guard by this The Goddess Celestine is kissing him right now! But it wasn't just a simple kiss on the lips, rather a lustful one.
Celestine moved in closer making her breasts squashed against his chest she pressed even deeper that she stuck her tongue in with his. She continues to take the lead wrapping her tongue with Dredgens
The Bounty Hunters overwhelmed by this that his mind is going blank as Celestine continued to kiss him and well he'll admit it was starting to feel good to be kissed by a sexy Goddess.
After a long and passionate kiss or rather a make-out session the Goddess backed away as she did not only she was left a bridge of salvia between the two for a second Celestine had a lewd face like she enjoyed that deep kiss with Dredgen
Feeling satisfied the Goddess catches her breath she flashes a beautiful smile to him. Dredgen blinked a few times to collect him he quickly shook his head as Celestine giggled at his reaction
"Hehe enjoyed your reward?" Celestine asks
"You...could say that."
Celestine again giggled at his expression, she put his helmet back on him. Our Mandaloiran remained silent looking directly at the Goddess's eyes.
"Dredgen."
"Yes, Lady Celestine?"
You may drop the 'Lady' when speaking to me; you can just call Celestine from now on.
Dredgen tilted his head the Goddess just kissed him a moment ago and now Celestine wants him to casually call her name like Olga what a turn of events for him "Ok...Celestine"
Celestine smiled at him using her name.
"Hmph..That will be all Dredgen. The Goddess bows her head to him " I wish you goodnight, and I hope you join us."
With that Celestine left the room for tomorrow will mark the first day of a new war in Eosita.

And Done! This chapter was but difficult to write but I managed and we got a face reveal, he got kissed by Celestine and a shocking secret of the Shield Kingdom that was an Empire long ago and one responsible for the Great Purge of the Mandalorians!
I was 50/50 on face reveal but this is a harem story with lemon too and it felt like it was inevitable that we will see his face so yeah. But our Mandalorian is very sensitive to keeping his helmet on.
I have some very interesting ideas about the Empire predecessor to help build out the story it more particularly for the Darksaber and the one who has it.
Next Chapter Our Mandalorian will get his new official Beskar Armor with some deadly upgrades to his arsenal and a jetpack! Still don't know what it'll look like maybe similar to Din but with different color schemes.
