"So, how is the housing search going?" Temari asked leaving against the kitchen counter as Hinata shoved her hands into oven mitts.
"Good, actually. There's one we're really interested in." The lavender eyed woman said grabbing the plate full of enchiladas.
The search had been easier than she thought, especially because of Naruto who had everything but patience. It took a few weeks but she was glad they found a house that not only she liked, but also one that Naruto had fallen in love with.
"Oh? Where is it?" Temari's voice snapped her out of her thoughts as Hinata put the plate inside the oven.
"Not far from here." She said closing the oven taking her mitts off. "All Naruto wanted was a big backyard. That's the only thing he seemed to care about so he was sold from the start." She explained with a soft smile.
She smiled as she remembered as how suddenly excited he got over a backyard. He didn't seem to care about anything else, agreeing with her opinions and thoughts on the other parts of the property.
"Why is he in such a rush to move anyways?" Temari asked with raised eyebrows.
That she knew.
"I think he suspects that my father had cameras installed in here." Hinata giggled turning to face her friend.
Temari gave her a weird look before laughing with a shake of her head.
"Didn't I tell you politicians were crazy?" The blond woman smirked, once she regained her composure, bringing the glass of red wine she was holding to her lips.
Hinata laughed with a shake of her head. "Naruto-kun isn't crazy."
"He's a politician. He's crazy." Temari gave her a serious look before her expression softened.
"Are you okay though?" Temari asked in a more serious tone despite the softness in her expression. "Are you happy?"
Hinata leaned against the counter looking at her friend reassuringly.
"I am." She said looking at the tiled floor curling her painted toes. "Even if I've been selfish and a wrecker."
"It's okay to be selfish, sometimes." Her friend shrugged giving her soft smile. "It could have happened a different way, but what's done is done. Both you and Naruto made decisions and chose your path. And you need to look ahead and keep being happy, dammit." She said with squared shoulders. "For my own sanity and Tenten's."
Hinata smiled at her friend's work and nodded briefly looking up to keep her eyes from tearing up.
"Don't you dare cry!" Temari shook her head.
"Sorry." Hinata said blinking quickly to fight her tears back in. "I'm okay."
"So Sasuke isn't coming?" Kiba asked dropping on one end the couch while looking at his blond friend who had toward the hallway that led to the kitchen with a small frown.
Naruto looked at him shaking his head with a yawn.
"I invited him, but you know he doesn't like awkward situations." He said with a shrug and Kiba looked at him questioningly.
"Ino?" He asked and the blue-eyed man nodded.
"Yep."
"Troublesome." Shikamaru muttered from his own place in the armchair.
Naruto nodded knowing that it was a little troublesome. Ino was feeling awkward being around him and Hinata and Sasuke doing his very best to not get involved at all. They all knew that at some point, this whole situation would blow over but it still was bothersome.
"Just know that this is Hinata." Kiba said seriously. "Hurt her and I'll kill you."
"This is like the hundredth time you've threatened me, Kiba." Naruto smirked looking at his dog-loving friend. "When are you gonna give it up?"
"I'm just saying." Kiba smiled back grabbing two game controllers from the coffee table throwing one at an almost-sleeping Shikamaru. "Wake the hell up, you!"
Shikamaru groaned glaring at him for his hostility but still grabbed the controller. Kiba knew that the lazy genius wasn't the best person to play with. If he had to pick, it would be Naruto or Lee, but he couldn't stand it went the man slept when there were people around.
"I'm next." Naruto announced standing from his seat and made his way to the kitchen.
Kiba snorted as he watched his friend leave.
The blond man has been wanting to go there from the moment Hinata and Temari left, but still stayed behind because Temari required him to. He was just looking for the opportunity to follow them.
"You need help, baby?" Naruto asked walking in the kitchen, his eyes immediately finding his girlfriend.
Before Hinata could reply, Temari butt in. "What can you possibly help with?"
Naruto gave her a displeased look moving closer. "Go to hell! I do help."
"I doubt it." She scoffed finishing her glass of wine in one gulp setting it on the counter.
Hinata came to his defense. "He's right. He is very helpful."
"Hinata is nice enough to label you talking her ears out as 'helping'." She smirked using her fingers as quotation marks.
Naruto moved and stood closer to Hinata looking at the blond woman with a wave of his hand.
"Don't you want to go bother Shikamaru or something?"
Temari smirked straightening up. "Just say you want me to leave."
"Very perceptive." He smirked and Temari rolled her eyes and left the kitchen grabbing her empty glass of wine with her, probably to go refill it.
As soon as she left, Hinata looked up at him with a bright smile making his heart literally skip a beat. The longer he looked, the faster his heart was beating, the more he wanted to grab the small woman and lock her in his arms.
Damn. His hand twitched.
Was it normal for one human being to have this much power over him?
His arms found their way around her small waist and he pulled her close burying his nose in her hair inhaling her sweet scent deeply, enjoying the feeling of her soft full tresses against him.
Hinata leaned into his embrace wrapping her own arms around his torso burying her face into his chest.
Kami did he love having her in his arms. She fit right in and was so soft.
After a few seconds though, she pulled back looking up at him with her doe-like eyes.
"I'm sorry Sasuke-kun couldn't come." She said apologetically.
He snorted leaning down to rub his nose against hers affectionately.
"Don't worry about it." He said kissing her cheek before giving her a bright smile. "I'll see him at the gym tomorrow, anyways."
She nodded placing a soft hand over his cheek before tilting her head on the side.
"My father and I have with some of our shareholders, early on Monday. But he wants to see you after, at the company, around lunch time." She told him slightly biting on her lip. "Are you going to be busy?"
"See me for what?" He groaned dropping his forehead against hers. "He just saw me last week."
She shrugged with a small smile. "I don't know."
He huffed dropping his head on her shoulder. "I'll have my secretary move some things around then for the mighty old Hiashi."
She giggled appreciating his efforts despite the fact that he didn't like being alone with her father. "Thank you, Naruto-kun. I told you he liked you. Now he wants to see you all the time." She teased.
He scoffed. "No, he doesn't. If he wants to see me in his office, it's probably work related."
"The hokage's son doesn't have any business with the Hyuuga corporation, Naruto-kun." She reminded him but he shrugged again.
"Yet." He corrected looking down at her. "It's Hiashi. If he's gonna let me be with you, best believe he's going to find profit in the situation."
She giggled with a shake of her head but still knowing that he might be right. Though her father didn't really deal with politicians, she knew that he might find a way to create a bridge to accommodate himself.
Her thoughts were interrupted as his hands moved lower to cop a feel of her behind.
"Stop." She lightly giggled though her face warm and she made no effort to pull away, already used to his wandering hands.
"Stop what?" He innocently asked as he continued fondling her plump behind.
"Naruto-kun." She reprimanded as he lowered his head to press his lips on her jaw.
"It's your fault." He sighed against her skin relishing the feeling. "Nobody told you to be this gorgeous."
She shook her head and jumped when he squeezed her ass hard before looking toward the entrance kitchen, afraid that one of their friends might come.
"You're always so-" She cut herself and he looked down at her with a wide smirk and twinkling eyes.
"So, what?" He pressed tilting his head expectantly and she shook her head trying move but he pressed closer. "So, what, Hinata?"
"Nothing." She smiled pushing against his chest. "I have to check on the Enchiladas."
He barked out a laugh and her heartbeat quickened. "You were going to say 'horny'."
"No, I wasn't." she squeaked grabbing the cutting board off the counter with pink tinted cheeks and quickly turned her back to him.
"Yes, you were." He continued laughing.
She shook her head with a smile placing the cutting board and knife in the sink. She jumped as his hands found their place on her round hips pressing his body hers.
"You're not wrong though." He breathed against her ear making her shiver. "You make me horny."
Her hands balled on the counter as she felt something hard press against her back making her whimper and almost arch against him. Her thighs pressed together as he pressed an open-mouthed kiss on her neck making her knees weak. He pressed more into her as his kisses moved to her shoulder.
"Fuck." He grumbled moving his hand to lift the dress she was wearing high enough to press his two fingers into the thinly covered pussy.
Hinata moaned grabbing onto his wrist with wide eyes. That didn't stop him though as he pressed his fingers deeper and allowed his index to graze her clit making her throw her head back in delight.
"W-We're n-not alone."
He only hummed using his other hand to lower the spaghetti strap on her shoulder to give him better access to her supple skin.
"P-Please. Temari might c-come back." She tried again as his hand was about to move under her silk underwear.
"How long before it's ready?" He asked in a raspy voice and her lavender eyes quickly moved to the oven timer.
"Fifteen minutes." She said and felt slightly disappointed but also relieved when he moved away from her, his body warmth leaving her too.
"Better be quick then." Was his answer.
"Uh?" She gasped in confusion as he grabbed her hand puling her with him leading her to the hallway. "Naruto-kun?" She shook her head as they passed by their friends who were too busy to notice.
"We'll be quick." He told her.
"Sasuke, what do you think?" The woman asked walking to the tall mirror in their bedroom to stare at her reflection.
She hummed moving her long blond hair back to have a better look at the yellow strapless gown she was wearing.
"Sasuke?" She called again still looking at her reflection.
"Beautiful." He said from his spot on the bed.
"Really?" Ino frowned. "I feel like it's too sparkly for an event like that. Why did they put so many pearls?" She asked suddenly not liking the dress anymore.
"Yeah." Sasuke said again in the same monotone voice.
She was trying to pick a dress for an event the hokage was hosting. She was going with Sasuke as his plus-one.
It was an event the hokage hosted every year but it was her first attending so she didn't really know what to expect. And she was going to see his son Naruto. Naruto who was her friend's boyfriend.
This year, said man was going to attend with Hyuuga Hinata, Hyuuga Hiashi's shy daughter. A nice woman from what she remembered from her in high school and from what she's gathered from their common friends throughout the years.
The woman Naruto left her friend for and caused her pain.
Sakura was heartbroken, more heartbroken than Ino has ever seen her. Sakura was a strong woman, strong enough to not even flinch in situation where Ino would cry her eyes out. The pink-haired who is going through medical school with an iron fist. Sure, Sakura had been very angry when Sasuke had asked her out and had given her the silent treatment for a few weeks but never had she seen her friend this way.
Sakura barely left her apartment and wouldn't even answer any of her calls.
Everything happened less than two months ago and Sakura was still heartbroken over what Naruto and Hinata had done. And Sasuke had told her yesterday that they found a place to move in together.
A house.
They were buying a house and planning a future together. Just like that.
She sighed.
Sakura just needed time and Ino knew that things will soon look up for her friend. They had to.
She sighed with a shake of her head looking at her reflection again.
"Let me try on the red one." She decided going back to their closet.
After a couple of minutes, she came back out wearing an alter top red satin gown.
"This one is better right?" She said moving her long blond hair to the side.
"Yeah." She heard Sasuke say again causing her to pause.
He was not listening to her. Not even looking.
She frowned placing her hands on her hips with a glare directed at the unsuspecting man through the reflection.
"And green looks great on me, doesn't it?" She asked narrowing her blue eyes at him.
"Yeah." He said not moving his eyes from his work documents.
She then triumphantly smirked shifting on one hip when an idea came to mind.
She cleared her throat tilting her head to the side. "It does show an awful lot of boobs but that's fine too."
She got what she wanted because his head snapped toward her, slightly narrowing his onyx eyes at her.
"You're not wearing tha-" He paused as his eyes landed on her perfectly covered chest.
"Sasuke." She frowned crossing her arms over her chest. "You weren't even looking."
He placed his work beside him and looked up at her while crossing his arms over his chest. He had a neutral look on his face as he stared up at her unhappy face.
"Sasuke." She hissed stomping her foot causing a smirk to appear on his face.
Spoiled brat. He thought.
"You look beautiful in red." He said and she raised a sceptic eyebrow at him.
"Really?"
"Yes." He nodded.
"Then why weren't you looking?" She asked sassily placing a hand on her hip.
He sat up resting his feet on the floor beckoning her over. "Come here."
She slowly walked up to him with a small sway of her hips. His big hands held onto her hips once she stood in front of him.
"Red is your color."
"I thought you said it was blue, and green before that." She teased and gasped when he pulled her closer to him.
She looked down at his onyx eyes.
"So, you like this dress?" She asked biting on her lower lip.
"Hm." He nodded pulling the end of her dress up her legs before suddenly pulling her down to straddle his lap.
She gasped with a giggle setting her blue eyes on his face. "You're going to winkle it." She smiled as he ran a hand over her exposed back to the knot at the back of her neck undoing it. "Are you really hoping for something when you refused to help me pick a dress?"
"I like this one." He simply said pulling on the top revealing her red lacy bra.
She decided to ask him what she wanted to know before he got too distracted.
"So Hinata and Naruto are really already house hunting?" She asked causing him to shrug.
"He loves her." Sasuke stated giving her warning look, silently telling her to not even go there.
He told her that it wasn't their business from the beginning and that they should stay out of it.
"I know." She said placing a hand on his jaw stroking it softly to soften his expression. "I was just asking."
"Good, because Naruto is happy and that's all that matters to me. I don't care with who it is with. All I know is that he loves Hinata. The rest is none of our business." He said and she chewed on her lip with a nod.
"My friend isn't happy." She said and he shrugged again.
He didn't say anything and trailed kisses over her chest.
"Sasuke." She groaned as he flipped them over so she laid on the bed with him on top of her. "You're a piece of work, I swear."
A/N: This story might have two or three more parts before it completed. It was meant to be a oneshot but my mind had other plans.
