Previous chapter: Jasper - JPOV

I take a deep breath as Rose talks about Esme and Edward and realize that I've wanted to ask Caius about them for a while now. I reach over and gently squeeze Rose's hand as I say: "Do you want me to ask Caius how they are doing the next time he calls?"

Jasper – JPOV

I should have known that Rosalie would ask me to check on Esme and Edward sooner than later. Even though she disagrees with their actions, they are still family in her eyes, and Rose has always been fiercely loyal to the ones she loves. She pulls me close for a hug as I ask her if she wants me to ask Caius about them, and says: "Would you do that for me?"

I snicker as I say: "As I said, you're my sister. You know how important family is to me, Rose, and it's not that you're asking for much. I must admit that I'm a little curious myself." Rose smiles brightly as she pulls back and says: "You're the best brother ever, Jasper."

I give her another quick hug and laugh as I say: "Peter might disagree with you on that matter, but Char will. Now, come on, it's time to hunt. I can feel that you're thirsty."

Bella - BPOV

I smile as I listen to the exchange between Jasper and Rose while sending out the last order for Christmas decorations. Char claps her hands enthusiastically as the confirmation email pops up in her mailbox and says: "Everything will arrive in two days. It is going to be the best Christmas ever! You just wait and see, sugar."

Jasper smiles at Char's words as he walks our way, and I sigh happily as he pulls me into his arms and says: "You done, pumpkin? Emmett and I want to catch ourselves a bear for Thanksgiving. Come with me?" I nod as Char closes her laptop, and I say: "I would love to, Jasper. We're more than done. I think that we've bought enough stuff to decorate at least five houses. Char disagrees, she was going to order even more, but I stopped her."

Char giggles as we start to make our way outside and says: "That's what you think, sugar. No one stops Charlotte Whitlock when it comes to Christmas. I told you already: this is going to be the best Christmas ever."

A loud groan from the doorway makes me giggle, and I lean my head against Jasper's shoulder as Peter pulls Char close and says: "Will this be worse than the Christmas of '65?" Peter groans again as Char shakes her head as she says: "What was wrong with the Christmas of '65?" Peter pinches his nose as he takes a deep unneeded breath and says: "God, woman, your love for Christmas is going to be the death of me. I'm sure of it."

Jasper shakes his head as Peter and Char run back to the house while Peter mumbles something about 'snow' and 'everywhere', and I turn to look at Jasper questioningly as I whisper: "What the hell happened in '65?" Jasper shrugs his shoulders and smiles as he says: "I have no idea, darlin', but knowing my brother, it probably wasn't as bad as he makes it out to be. I'm sure Char will tell you later. Let's go hunt."

Jasper – JPOV

Bella smiles as she stands on her tiptoes to kiss me and I let out a contented sigh as her love for me washes over me. Bella moans softly as I pull her close and deepen the kiss. God, I love her so much. Bella waves her hands through my hair, and I can feel myself getting harder as she tries to pull me even closer.

"Let my sister go, Jasper! You promised me a bear!'

Emmett's booming voice pulls me back to the present, and I shake my head as I turn my head around to see him, Rose, and our children with their mates standing near the edge of the forest. Bella's face lights up as she spots Alec and Jane, and I take a deep breath before slowly releasing my hold on Bella. She slowly caresses my cheek with the back of her fingers as she takes a small step back and whispers: "I love you so much, Jasper Whitlock."

"Yeah, and he loves you too. Can we go hunting now?"

Rose slaps Emmett against the back of his head as Jane turns to growl at him and says: "If you ever ruin such a beautiful moment between my mom and dad again, I'll have you writhing in pain for days, Uncle Emmett. Be warned." Everyone laughs out loud as Emmett's eyes widen in horror at Jane's words and moves to stand behind Rose.

Bella gives Jane a loving smile as she walks toward her and says: "Are you, Alec, and Bree joining us, sweetie? Or are you going to hunt in the city?" Jane shakes her head as she turns to look at Alec, and says: "We're coming with you, mom. We've spent so many Holidays without a real family to celebrate it with, and it never bothered us. But now, we plan on spending as many Holidays as possible with the both of you. You're our parents, and we love you."

Bella - BPOV

My heart overflows with love as I pull Jane and Alec close for a hug and say: "I love the both of so much. Next to your dad, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I will treasure every Holiday that you get to spend with us." Jasper smiles as he walks toward us and says: "I'm sure that you can arrange something with Caius, darlin'. He can't seem to deny you anything, most certainly when you rope Athenodora into your plans."

I smile as I take his hand and say: "You might be onto something there, Major. My mother is a worthy ally, that for sure." Jasper lets out a loud laugh as he leads me into the forest with the rest of our family close behind, and says: "I have a hard time saying 'no' to anything you want, so I can only imagine how Caius will feel when you and Athenodora start teaming up. The man won't know what hit him."

"You don't have to imagine how Master Caius feels, daddy. Mom and I can give you a sample of how it would feel if you want."

Jasper groans loudly as the rest of us start laughing out loud at Jane's words and says: "That won't be necessary, sweetie. As I said, I can't say 'no' to your mom. I would give her the moon and the stars if she asked me. She is my world, and I would do anything for her, and the same thing applies to you and your brother."

Jane's laughter rings out through the forest as we continue our search for a worthy Thanksgiving dinner. Bree squeals happily as we pass the waterfall at the edge of our property, and I smile as Alec yells: "We'll wait here, mom." I nod as the rest of us keep running and say: "We'll all come back here when we're done. Have fun, sweetie."

Michael breaks away from the group not soon after that as the smell of a puma reaches us, and I give Jane a quick nod as she turns to look at me and say: "Go with him, Jane. Meet up with Alec at the waterfall when you're done." Jane mouths a quick thank you and turns around to follow her mate, right as Emmett lets out a low growl and says: "That bear is mine." Rose gives me a wink as she turns to follow him and says: "See you at the waterfall!"

Jasper leads us a bit further into the forest, and I smile as he hugs me from behind and says: "Close your eyes and tell me what you smell, darlin'." A soft growl escapes my throat as I close my eyes, and the scent of a grizzly bear reaches me. Jasper leans down to kiss my mark, and I moan as I feel his hard member pressed against my back. His hands move slowly down my arms as he says: "Wanna share with me, darlin'?"

God, he wasn't playing fair. I wanted the bear, but I wanted Jasper even more. I rub my thighs together for some much-needed friction and open my eyes to look at my mate as I say: "Yes." Jasper's eyes turn pitch-black instantly as he kisses me passionately before running toward the bear at full speed. I follow at a short distance, and I watch in rapture as Jasper lunges for the large Grizzly and snaps its neck. Jasper Whitlock is pure sin and, thank God, he's all mine.

Jasper – JPOV

I drop the bear at my feet after I snap his neck and reach out for Bella's hand. I watch in awe as she stalks my way. God, I love her so much. I kiss her hand as she reaches me, and we both kneel next to the bear to drink. I can feel our lust rising with every mouthful, and I fling the dead bear away the moment he runs dry. Bella pounces on me the moment the bear leaves my hand, and I groan loudly as she presses her gorgeous body against mine to get friction while we fight each other for dominance over the kiss.

Our hands work frantically to remove our clothes, and I let out a low growl as I take a step back to admire my mate: "So beautiful and all mine." Bella moans softly as my hands roam her body and whispers: "Only yours, Major. Make love to me, Jasper. I need you."

"Just as I need you, pumpkin. Come here."

Bella bites her lower lip as I lay her down on the forest floor, and her hands roam my torso and my back as I move to lie between her legs. I kiss her lovingly as I slowly push inside her and her eyes darken even more as I let our love and desire flow around us. I snicker as she says: "God, I love that you're an empath. Please, don't stop."

"I will never stop wanting you, darlin'. Hold on."

Bella moans loud as I pick up speed, and I growl in ecstasy as she meets my every thrust with passion. I feel myself moving even faster as Bella digs her nails in my shoulders, and I groan loudly as I feel her walls tightening around me already. Fuck, she feels so good.

"I'm so close, darlin'. Come with me."

Bella screams my name as she shatters beneath on my next thrust, and I roar as I follow her in a mind-blowing orgasm of my own. Bella pulls me close as I lie down in the grass next to her and says: "I love you, Jasper." I smile as I kiss her forehead and say: "I love you too, Bella, with all that I am."

I purr softly as Bella lays her head on my shoulder while running intricate patterns across my torso with her hands. I close my eyes as I let our love flow around us and smile happily as Bella starts to purr as well. I wish we could stay like this forever and groan in protest as the sound of laughter bursts our peaceful bubble.

Bella moves to pick up our clothes and giggles as she sees the pout on my face as she hands me my jeans: "Let's go see what our kids are up to, Major. We will continue this later tonight." I growl playfully as I take my jeans and put them on as I say: "You can bet on it, pumpkin." Bella blows me a kiss as we quickly put on our clothes, and I give her a soft kiss on the forehead as I take her hand in mine and lead her back toward the waterfall and the laughter of our kids.

Bella smiles brightly as we reach the waterfall and watch the children jump down the waterfall into the lake below. Bella lets out a soft sigh as she leans back into my embrace and says: "I'm going to miss them when they go back to Volterra. Promise me that we'll visit them often." I smile as I place a kiss on top of her head and say: "As often as you want, pumpkin. I would never keep you away from the twins. I can feel how much you love them. They are family."

Rose turns to look at me as I place another kiss on Bella's head and smiles at me softly. Fuck! That reminds me, I need to call Caius and ask how Esme and Edward are doing.
