When the three girls found an empty compartment. Grace ushered her two friends in and closed the door. She also shut the blinds so anyone who walked past could not see in.

"What's got your wand in a knot," Ella asked.

"You know how I was talking to Mr. Weasley before you guys," Grace said.

"Yeah. But you always do," Bri commented, "It's a tradition for him to see you off."

"Ok. I know. But this time it was different. He had something important to tell me."

"What," the two girls asked."

"Something about Sirius Black."

"Oh, you mean that hot prisoner from Azkaban," Ella said.

Grace and Brialla looked at her like she was crazy. After Grace saw him in the Daily Prophet he looked like he was anything but hot.

"Hot? You think he's hot," Bri asked.

"Well if he trimmed his hair and washed up. Maybe got some sleep and decent clothing he could be hot."

"Uhg! Ella! That's not the point, the point is he escaped Azkaban to come after Harry. And Mr. Weasley said that I might be in his way from getting him!"

Grace's two best friends were shocked at her outburst but more confused by her words.

"You might be in his way? What does he mean by that?"

"I don't know. But I have a feeling they're not telling me something."

For the next few minutes, they talked about what they would be doing after they graduated. Suddenly the train stopped and everything went cold. The lights went off and Grace got up.

"I'm going to go find Harry."

She walked down the corridor until she found Harry and his friends.

"Hey, Grace. Do you know what's going on," Hermione asked as Grace sat down?

"No I don't," she looked at the man who was asleep next to her, "who is that?"

"Professor R.J. Lupin according to his suitcase," Ron said.

Harry got up and looked out the compartment door. Suddenly their light went off and Harry sat back down.

"Harry. You're sitting on my lap get off," Grace said.

"Sorry," Hatty mumbled.

"Ouch! Ron, that was my foot," Hermione gasped.

"Do you think we broke down?"

"Dunno..."

"Something is moving out there. I think people are coming aboard."

The door of their compartment opened and someone gell over Harry's legs.

"Sorry, do you know what's going on? Ouch. Sorry."

"Hello Neville," Harry said while pulling him up by his cloak.

"Harry, is that you? What's happening?"

"No idea, sit down."

There was a loud hissing sound followed by a yelp of pain. Neville tried to sit on Crookshanks.

"I'll go and ask the driver what's going on," Hermonie said.

Grace felt her pass and heard the door slide open. Then two loud squeals of pain.

"Who is that?"

"Who is that."

"Ginny?"

"Hermonie?"

"What are you doing?"

"I was looking for Ron."

"Come in and sit down."

"Not there," Harry exclaimed, "I'm here!"

"Ouch!"

"Quiet!" Said a hoarse voice.

It seemed like Professor Lupin had woke up. None of them spoke. The door slid open. Standing in the doorway was a cloaked figure that towered to the ceiling. Its face was completely hidden beneath its hood. There was a hand protruding from the cloak. It was glistening, greyish, slimy-looking, and scabbed, like something dead that had decayed in water. But it was only visible for a second.

Then the thing beneath the hood drew a long, slow, rattling breath, as though it was trying to suck something more than air from its surroundings. Coldness swept over them all. Next to her, Grace felt harry go rigid and fall out of his seat. Professor Lupin stepped over him and mumbled something. A silvery thing shot out of his wand, and the thing turned around and glided away. After a few seconds, the train started moving and the lights came back on.

"Harry are you alright?"

Professor Lupin reached up and slapped his face.

"What are you doing?! Stop slapping him," Grace exclaimed.

Lupin looked up at her and froze for a second. "Lily," he whispered.

"No. I'm Grace. A pleasure to meet you. Harry! You're awake are you okay?"

He looked pale but not as pale as Neville or Ginny. A loud snap made all of them jump. Professor Lupin was breaking a piece of chocolate and handing them out.

"Here, it will help."

"What was that thing," Harry asked.

"A dementor. One of the guards of Azkaban. Excuse me I'm going to go talk to the driver. Eat it will help." with one last look at Grace he disappeared down the corridor.

"Who screamed?" Harry asked.

"No one screamed Harry," Grace said.

After a while, Professor Lupin came back and smiled.

"I haven't poisoned the chocolate you know."

Grace took a bite and instantly felt warm. Seeing that she was okay everyone else in the compartment ate there's.

"We should be at Hogwarts in ten minutes," Professor Lupin said.

Everyone nodded.

"Oh! Grace I meant to ask you," Hermonie said, "did you get the head girl?"

"Yeah, I did. I promise I'll go easy on you guys," Grace said with a wink.

The rest of the ride went smoothly. When they got to Hogwarts they walked into the Great Hall and sat down. After everyone was sorted Professor Dumbledore stood up and gave his speech.

"Welcome to another year at Hogwarts. I have a few things to say before our feast. First, our school is playing host to some dementors of Azkaban. They are stationed at every entrance to Hogwarts. It is not in their nature to be forgiving. That is what I ask every one of you not to provoke them. But you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light. On a happier note, I am pleased to welcome Professor R. J. Lupin. He will take over Defence Against the Dark Arts post this year. To enjoy time with his remaining limbs, Professor Kettleburn retired last year. However, I am delighted to tell you the Care of Magical Creatures spot will be filled by our very own Rubeus Hagrid. Thank you! Let the feast began!"

The table was filled suddenly with food and drinks. The Hall began to eat. After a while, everyone got up to go to their common room. A large portrait of a fat lady in a pink dress asked them for the password. Grace came to the front.

"The new password is 'Fortuna Major'. Everyone in!"

Grace climbed the stairs to her own dorm and let her two friends in. She was finally home.
