Sorry for the wait. 😅
Grace's first class of the day was Herbology and while it was boring, it went by quickly. In her next hour, she went to the DADA classroom to help Lupin. She was troubled, to say the least. After her interaction with him on the train, she was questioning where it would go. She swore she'd heard her mother and father talk of a Lily. But was it the same on Lupin mistook her for?
Knock. Knock. The classroom door opened.
"Ah, Miss. Po-Malfoy. I was told by Dumbledore last night you would be joining some of my classes. I thank you for that." Grace smiled at him.
"It's my pleasure."
The class came in and Professor Lupin announced they would be dealing with a boggart.
"Does anyone know what a boggart is," he asked.
No one raised their hand. Professor turned and looked at Grace.
"Perhaps you would like to tell us."
"A boggart is a shape-shifter. It can take the shape of whatever it thinks will terrify us the most. They like dark, enclosed places. No one knows what a boggart looks like when he is alone."
"Yes, that is correct. Would you like to be the first to try Grace?"
"It wouldn't hurt to try."
Grace stepped in front of the wardrobe and prepared herself. With a flick of his wand, Lupin opened the door and the boggart came out. It took its place in front of Grace and started its change. It took a minute of withing before it eventually warped into a black cloud of smoke. Grace was frustrated she had no idea what it could mean. She stepped away and let the class face their fears. After they had all gone and Lupin had dismissed them she sat in front of his desk. There was a silence in his room for a minute before she finally spoke up.
"What did mine mean?"
As if Lupin was expecting this question he answered. "I think it either means your afraid of the unknown, or afraid of your mind."
After talking about it for a while Grace finally excused herself and walked to her next class.
In no time Defence Against the Dark Arts had become everyone's favorite class. Draco and his friends were the only ones that had anything bad to say about Professor Lupin.
"Look at his dress robes," Malfoy said, "he dresses like our old house-elf."
"Draco Lucius Malfoy! Ten points from Slytherin for disrespecting a teacher," Grace had overheard him.
No one else cared that Professor Lupins' robes were patched. His next lessons were just as interesting as his first. Grae loved to help him with the third-year class. She even helped him with the lesson plan for the rest of the month. Harry had told Grace he wished he was as happy with other classes. Worst of all Potions. The story of the boggart warping into Snape, and that Neville had dressed it in his grandmother's clothes, had spread through the school like wildfire.
Harry had also told Grace he was dreading the hours he spent in Professor Trelawney's room. To comfort him, Grace told Harry of an incident that happened while in her class.
Flashback
Grace had walked into the Divination classroom and sat down near the front.
"My dear, you have the grim. Just like Harry Potter," the Professor said.
She walked back over to her desk and sat down. When the rest of the class got there she announced they would be using crystal balls. Grace did not know how long she sat gazing into the ball before she passed out.
Harry and Grace were walking back from Hagrids hut when a black dog came and started to play with them.
Flash
Grace was patrolling a hallway when she saw Sirius Black. He looked at her and said, "Grace, I'm not the person they say I am."
Flash
A very short and fat man with thin hair changed into a rat and started running away. Grace hit him with a stunning spell.
Flash
Grace and Harry were walking around an old, dark, dusty house. Sirius Black popped out. "You came."
Grace woke up rapidly. She had no idea what those dreams were. Professor Trelawney was looking at her oddly.
"My dear, did you have any visions while you were asleep?"
"Yeah, I think so."
End of Flashback
"Grace, what could of those visions mean?"
"I have no idea, Harry. But whatever they mean, I don't think are as they seam."
The start of October had brought calmness upon Grace and Harry. The Quidditch season was approaching, and the captain Oliver Wood called a meeting.
"This is our last chance- some of us- to win the Quidditch Cup. We'll never get another shot at it. Gryffindor hasn't won it for seven years now. We have the best team in the school. We have three suburb Chasers," he pointed to Grace, Angelina Johnson, and Katie Bell," we have two unbelievable Beaters."
"Awww, stop it you're embarrassing us," Fred and George said together, pretending to blush.
"And a speaker who has never failed to win us a match," he looked at Harry with pride.
"And me," he added as an afterthought, "the point is the cup should have been ours the last two years. But we haven't got it, and this year is our, mine, last chance to see our name on the thing."
"This is our year Oliver," Fred and George said.
The rest of the team piped in with agreement. Full of determination, the team started training sessions, three nights a week.
One day the Gryffindor common room was buzzing with chatter. The first Hogsmeade trip was coming up at the end of October, Holloween. Knowing Harry couldn't go, Grace offered to stay behind with him. He excepted. A few days later, Grace noticed that the Golden Trio looked tense.
"What's wrong with you guys," Grace asked.
"Ron and Hermonie had a row," Harry answered.
Seeing that Harry desperately wanted to get away from them she suggested a walk.
"Let's go see how Hagrid is doing."
After the long visit with aHagrisd and petting Buckbeak, Grace and Harry were walking back to the castle. Crack! Harry and Grace spun around to see a large black dog creating towards them. It looked like it had in her vision. It walked up and sniffed Harry. It turned to Grace and froze. Grace was sure she saw a look of reassurance in his eyes.
"Grace, you should change into your animagus form and pay with him," Harry said.
"Harry... I'm not sure about that."
After they hung out with the dog for a while, Harry and Grace began the trip back for the second time. Grace couldn't help but think it was only of matter of time until the second part of her vision came true. An she wasn't sure she was ready to face it.
Please tell me if there are any mistakes. Thanks
