Chapter 7: Changing cartridges and meeting new friend!

[-10 reputation with Ozpin/Ozma]

[-40 reputation with Glynda Goodwitch]

[-40 reputation with James Ironwood]

[+40 reputation with Qrow Brawnen]

[Reputation feature has been fully unlocked!]

You and your faction can now gain true reputation from various amount of people and faction! The amount of Reputation you get would help you out with both missions and quest rewards depending how people sees you, can also unlock other faction quest depending how high positive it is!

Current Reputation is this:

Ozpin's Brotherhood -50 [Uneasy, Annoyed.]

Dreadclaw Tribe -732 [Hated, pride wounded by female.]

Deepwood Tribe +5 [wary, hopeful, desperate.]

Salem inner Circle -100 [Sensed your rebirth and immediately do not like you]

Huh... Wasn't expecting my prank on that wizard to help unlock this feature.

I calmly walked through the underground tunnel leading to the first forward base while I'm reading the text box of what I got and finally have some ideas who i'm currently fighting. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who is the Dreadclaw tribe considering it's likely the lizardmen and their monster allies. Ozpin's group is obvious and I sorta liked the fact Qrow seems to have found my prank hilarious enough to get some brownie points from him. Salem I sorta knew but the fact she could sense I was reborn as a Nekomata is enough to give me pause and some worry... If the barrier Aldia erected wasn't there, I would have been killed on my first day here on Remnant.

But then there is something else that gives me pause... Deepwood Tribe.

Who the heck are they and why do I have +5 rep with them? are they at war against the Dreadclaw tribe? where the hell are they located and how do they know of my faction?

Then it hit me, it's that Hollow infested town!

Jack mentioned that they haven't attacked at all and seems to be staying where they are, could it possibly be that there might be some friendly people there that are trying to defend themself from the Lizardmen? It would make sense to use the hollows as Proxy soldiers against the Dreadclaws seeing as their numbers are far too many to deal with.

But still... They are wary of me and my faction but seems to be hopeful and desperate for... may aid, i think?

The system doesn't seem to specify but it's pretty much what I got from it.

Either way, i'm on my way to see what to do from here with Jack's aid and perhaps make contact with the town and see if it's possible to make an alliance of sort. If there are other races aside humans that once lived in Drangleic then there is a very high chance they may actually know the layout of the lands far better than I do... Also try come up with something where me and my people comes from because i'm pretty sure they never seen Night elves, Trolls or Nekomatas before.

I could make up that we're from Azeroth and left our dying world with the help of Elune, it's a start but then I would have to come up WHERE am I summoning my folks from... Maybe their souls are stored away in a made up crystal or inside the tree of life and that i'm simply drawing them out?

...with money.

Shaking my head, might as well come up with something later as I finally left the tunnel and emerged to my first forward base. Gone was the rushed job of expanding a cavern chamber with a pool of water in the middle, now replaced with smoother brickwalls and stonetiles, proper stone bridge and some stairs leading either to the towers or other chambers where the mess halls, storage room and barracks are located. the large waterpool that was in the middle of the former cavern chamber was replaced with a moonwell to help heal any wounds and injuries my troops would get during the skirmish. Then there are some office rooms where either me, Jack, Tervalian Mydriel will be located doing any important business like planning strategy

Looking around I can see my Night elves warriors, Troll head hunters and Nekomata witches going about their business or working hard on their tasks.

I can see Tervalian and Jack conversing near the entrance outside to the Forest of the fallen giant, along with some stalkers standing behind them. They looks like your typical ninja like cat people with mixed Japanese style outfit with Night elven one.

"Looks like I've arrived for something important" I called out as I strodes over to them as they glances to my direction "What did I miss?"

"Other than the fact the tribe of those monsters are gonna attack us again with the same amount of them within a moment, nothing so far m'lady." Tervalian answered.

Tervalian has a change of wardrobe last time we fought together against the horde of Dreadclaw members, gone was the default Rogue armour you would find and replaced with dark grey uniform with metal plates on his forearm and legs, along with more set of throwing knives hanging from his chest belt.

Turns out both he and Mydriel actually went up a rank after these two survived and won against the assault from both the Lizardmen and conquering the gold mine. Both are now ranked B instead of C with some more proper equipment and skills to make up for it. Too bad Bo'svania didn't survive, otherwise I would have him with me most of my quest as a personal healer... So the very least I could do for him who gave his own life to defend the archers and healers was to rename this place Bo'svania last stand, in honor of that brave troll priests sacrifice.

"Well I think i have some good news, manage to unlock the reputation feature and I do believe the hollow infested town might not actually be our enemies." I said, smilking.

"Truly?" Tervalian asked, surprised.

"Yeah, have like +5 rep with a tribe called Deepwood and they seems to be wary of us but hopeful... My guess is that they're likely another tribe trying to survive against the Dreadclaw tribe, which by the way is our current enemy keep attacking us."

"Hmm I see..." Jack muses as he was in thought of this revelation "If we can contact this Deepwood Tribe and arrange an alliance of sort, not only would we have an ally to fight alongside with but also untold wealth of information of the current state of the rest of Drangleic."

"My thought exactly, if we can send someone to show we mean no threat and wishes to talk things out we could have better chance against the Dreadclaws and whoever the hell their leader is" I commented.

"Do you wish for me to make contact with them?" Jack asked

"No, I will need you here to monitore Bo'svania's last stand. Tervalian you and your Squad of Stalkers will have to make contact with them, stop by Mydriel at the gold mine and get anything to prepare just in case it goes south." I ordered and the night elf nodded, after saluting he and his Squad of cat ninjas left the forward base, leaving me and Jack alone.

"Very well, what will you do in the meanwhile?"

"Gonna stop by my office and plan ahead what we do from here, we have enough gold and lumber to last around a month if their attacks doesn't drastically changes. But I will need to expand and build more bases and new units if we're going to take the fight against them." I answered.

Jack seems to agree with my plan and bids farewell for now, leaving me to go to my office which happens to be a tunnel down below, past the barracks and mess hall. Inside is what you would typically find in a medieval office, a table, a cupboard, bookshelf and a wooden bed in case i'm far too tired to make the trip back to Majula. Overall it's simple and just the way I want it to.

Sitting down and went back writing up reports of what I know so far with both the lands and our enemy, Sarlina suggested that I make these as it would not only be helpful keeping tracks of things but helps training me when I finally establish some relation with other factions beside the Conclave. However, I frown a little as a thought just entered my head; if I unlocked the Reputation feature, what other sorts of feature did or haven't unlock yet? Because I have a feeling the gamer system might be actually holding back information or features that I might have unlocked and never asked to see.

[Well i'm glad you asked!]

"Gah!?" I jumped as I wasn't expecting the damn gamer system to pop up in front of me.

[You know? most would assume many of the features of the Gamer power would automatically open up and explains to you in one go and not encourage to search and figure out yourself of the many various amount of mechanics this power gives, but the fact it took you near two weeks is enough to say you figured it out far more quickly than the others did! I'm impressed!]

Uh...Thanks?

W-Wait a second, there are other gamers like myself!?

[Sure are!]

Then were they also screwed over by this Skirra person into becoming something they didn't ask for?

[More than you think, hoo boy believe me you're not the first person to have changed from an average looking human male to a sexy Nekotmata woman with a killer body. As Lady Skirra loves to troll people and wishes to see how well you and the others adapt to your situations.]

[But either way, we're not here to talk about my creator's trolling peope habits, we're here to discuss what else your gamer power can do!]

Like what? Create an ID dungeon for grinding levels and materials or going into other worlds for shit and giggles?

[Why yes indeed!]

...I was frickin joking there!

Wait...WHEN did I unlock those gamer features?

[On your first day as a gamer~!]

...So you're telling me, that all this time... I COULD HAVE FUCKING GRINDED FOR MONEY, RESOURCES AND LEVELS AND NOT DEALING WITH THE SHIT i JUST DEALT WITH ON MY FIRST DAY OF BEING REBORN!?

[Pretty much! Your reaction isn't exactly new so good on ya for figuring out a bit earlier than most folks did!]

Calm breath Taesi, Calm and deep breath...

Deep breath...

I sighed deeply and frustratenly because a shit load of problems that I had in the beginning would have been solved so fucking easily that it isn't funny. Either way, at very least I know what I can do at this moment while waiting for Tervalian making contact with Deepwood Tribe and hope for the best they're friendly. Hey system, anything ELSE I need to know other than the fact it could have made my life easier?

[Well other than the fact your first home base may act like a Social gathering place for other gamers placed in other universes to come visit you should they happen to be in your friend list or you invite themself, the ID Dungeon and world hoping I will have to explain!]

[I'm sure you read a lot of stories involving the Main character having a personal dungeon to grind for materials, money and levels, right? Well you can stop thinking that and let's just say it's a bit different, like way different as there are requirement to unlock most of the dungeons and worlds instead of just lazily create one and become powerful right away. Both of the features are sorta mixed together as there are three different function it has and it is called Dungeon Siege...No not that game, the feature!]

I didn't even say or think anything!

[Well you be surprised how many times its been asked! Anyway, the Dungeon siege is split in three different category; Normal dungeon raid, Heroic Dungeon raid and Mythic Dungeon raid. The difference with the first two features is that it will randomly generate a world that will look similar to any sort of games or movies that you seen and your task is to complete certain quest and killing bosses. Of course you can also do this with other games if you like and simply go look into "Looking for Group" option and there should be some gamers around your level looking for help with the current dungeon they're in. Normal dungeon is what it is, a simple normal mode dungeon with sorta hard bosses with meager rewards while Heroic dungeon mode is much more harder with far more better rewards.]

[As for the Mythic dungeon mode, that's where it allows you to travel into other worlds and your mission is to either help the main cast to save the world or destroy it, once completed you can either stick around and maybe even change it to be your current homeworld instead of the one you're currently in. But a fair warning, you won't have any sort of help from your troops or Hero units as this is something you and your fellow gamers have to deal with yourself within the dungeons and should you choose another world as your new homeworld; you will lose your connection with all of your bases, troops and heroes within the world of Remnant and will have to restart anew with either the same faction or starting new!]

[Oh right, before I forget! When you enter either of the dungeons mode you will be given a declaration boast to choose from, think of it like Fable boasting system where you can boast of not killing any enemies or run around naked, should you succeed in finishing the dungeon siege your reward will increase 25% with each boast you declare!]

[And that's all I can say for now, I hope this explanation has been helpful and don't be afraid to ask anything else you need help with!]

Dungeon siege Feature is now visible!

I just sat there, leaning back against my chair as my mind went through with the information that I have been given by the Gamer system.

So not only is this Dungeon siege similar to the retail World of warcraft instant dungeon mode, but I can choose to either go by myself or join another gamer and helping them out with their current Dungeon. Not only that but i'm given also a chance to explore other worlds and should I manage to help them out completing the main quest it will become available for me to choose as my new homeworld... But that would also mean I would lose my base, my troops and my heroes. What exactly will happen to them should I even think of doing this?

[They will simply continue on moving, living on as they do and you will be given a choice who is to lead them in your absent.]

Oh thank frickin Elune's hairy eyebrow! for a moment I was worried they be deleted out of existence!

But still... I currently have nothing better to do and the current level grind is sorta at halt due to most of the monsters and wild beasts around the forest barely gives me the amount of EXP needed to level up. So I think I go and see if I can do a normal Dungeon round, maybe team up with someone and see the ropes of how to do this.

Speaking of which, what happens should I fail and die in one of the dungeon modes?

[Nothing, you can either wait till your fellow Dungeon crawler gamer to revive you or you end up back here in this world.]

Huh, good to know~

Still miffed that my first days of problem could have been solved if I was aware of this stupid feature, but then again whoever the hell gave me the second chance is a frickin massive troll and something tells me it won't be the last time either.

So I brought my menu up and sure enough I can see the Dungeon Siege mode rigth here, pressing it as it shows me which modes I wanna do. I don't wanna do the Mythic dungeon mode yet and definitely not the Heroic one unless I wanna die several times. So Normal mode it is! Pressing it, it shows me that I can instantly go to a random generated dungeon for me to dick around or I could go to the "Looking for group" option instead. Might as well check it out and see if there is anyone out there that needs help and maybe giving me some pointers on how to use my magic better or new combat techniques.

After pressing it, it shows me a list of not only the names of the dungeons but also how many there are around my current levels.

...Like only three.

I check the higher levels one and hoo boy there were a lot more there, some ranges around 200 or 300 level and according to how long they been in the dungeon modes, days or weeks... Yeah I think I wait around before jumping in to try tackle high leveled dungeons.

So I checked my current level range to see two dungeons, one has two gamers in them while the other is all by themself. Not only that but I can see percentage of how far and how much they manage to complete the dungeon and the one with two gamers in it is almost done, but the other one is like 3% done. Either they just started or actually waiting for someone to come and help them, either way this helps not only me but them as well as I can just jump right into it and learn how the dungeon siege mode works...Hopefuly whoever it is isn't an asshole.

So I pressed join and the screen disappeared, nothing happened at first until a bright blue light appeared next to me.

Looking to my right I see a round blue portal hover in midair, waiting for me to enter. Smiling with a bit excitement I stood up and casually walked into it, as there was a bright flash of light in my vision and before I knew it; I was gone from Remnant.

Dungeon Siege: Normal mode.

Generated World: Nirn.

Location Vilverin

Mission: Explore the ancient Ayleid ruins and kill the last boss in the last room!

Bosses: 0/3

Bonus Objective: don't get killed.

Reward: 2500 gold, 8000 EXP, Random Oblivion rare weapon, Random Oblivion rare spell.

Bonus Reward: ?

Once my vision returned after stepping inside the portal, I blinked few times to adjust the bright light and warm breeze of the wind as the sound of nature surrounds me. I can hear the sound of water not too far and what sounded like a bonfire was lit, once my vision got adjusted I eyed widen in recognizition as I spun around to take in the view of WHERE exactly this generated dungeon has brought me.

I'm in frickin Oblivion! I'm in the Elder scrolls!

This is awesome!

I grin as I stood there and just took the scenery around me while gazing at the distance imperial city, especially the giant frickin long Imperial white tower.

Then I remembered that I wasn't alone and that there is another gamer here, looking around I don't spot them but I did see something near where the camp is located. A dead body of a Redguard who looks to have been scorched as his flesh been charred and the fur armour burnt. Curious of the aftermath I walk around the white walls of the Ayleid ruins to see the full view of the came and the large white elven structure. There I see another body not too far from the camp and the bandit is a Khajiit looking fella with bow and arrows lying on the ground; dead.

Seeing that the second bandit you would fight in the game is dead I look over to the camp and sees someone sitting on a stool gazing at the bonfire in a bored look on their face.

As for the person themself, it's a Female Dark elf in a rather skimpy sorceress outfit of some kind.

She has dark grey smooth skin, white shoulder leght hair that is not only straight but looks so smooth and silky, wearing a scarlet top that shows a lot of her shoulders and cleavage as it barely seems to hold back much of her tits because WOW! She seems to be around the same bust size as I am! Maybe even a bit larger! as for the rest of her clothing a scarlet loincloth with dark green highlights, long scarlet sleeves that has spiderweb patterns to them along with her stocking has the same color theme and reaches up near the middle thighs... Which she happens to be near barefooted like I am.

Wait is there some kind of theme with elves or youkai that has this sort of foot appearal, or this is something else related?

Nevermind that, the woman seems to be bored sitting there with her leaning against her staff while an elbow on her leg with her palm on the side of her cheek as her eyes seems to be half closed as she's about to fall asleep. How long has she been waiting exactly? Shaking my head I calmly walked over to the camp, waved and called out to her.

"Hey! Fancy meeting another fellow Gamer!"

This was enough to get a reaction out of her as she jumped in fright as she scrambles to hold her staff out as she looks at me with her red eyes with surprise and shock with her mouth slightly opened.

"W-Whu-" She finally responds as I can hear her gentle soothing voice stutters "Wh-when did you appear?"

"Like a minute ago, names Taesi Luvidas~" I greeted, smiling as I stood like three meters from her as she relaxes "Just found out about the damn Dungeon siege mode and wanted to give it a try."

"Oh I-I see, sorry for pointing my staff at you i'm not used to people sneaking up on me" Technically I didn't, I just walked up to you "But it's nice to meet you Taesi, My name is Lorei Xevias and well... I'm a sorceress if you haven't guessed yet." Geez talk about not being socially awkward as she just stands there shyly.

"Nice meeting you Lorei, how long you been waiting?" I asked.

"Oh I-Ithink around two hours" Holy...!

"W-Why did you wait for two hours on someone to come? I would have gone inside already?" I couldn't help but ask, seems kinda strange that she hasn't gone inside the ruins and explored while waiting for someone to jump in.

"Oh well... It's because... Well..." She sighs "Taesi... Do you have the Observ feature or know of it?"

"Yeah I do, why?"

"Well use it on me and you will see why." Confused and curious I did as she asked me and once I see the menu of her stats did I realize why she was hesitant to go inside.

Jesus Christ she's literally a frickin glass cannon!

No wonder WHY she's so hesitant to enter the dungeon by herself! Just one or two strikes and she's down!

"Well... I can undertstand why you waited for someone to help you out with this one... But why have you focused on so much on Intelligence and Willpower?" I asked with genuine confusion. From the way she's been to me I figured she's someone who used to be shy in their previous life... Or maybe the death experience changed them and affected her greatly.

"W-Well that's because it's my own fault... I've been relying on my troops for so much that I didn't see the need to put in some of my left over stats in Endurance... Now i'm regretting it." She lower her head in shame, likely didn't expect her decision to focus on two main stats come bite her in the ass this hard.

I just shrugged and replied "It's fine, we all make mistakes. Oh by the way, did you also get a chance to choose which Warcraft 3 faction at the start?" Getting a nod I asked "Cool, which one did you pick and which world did you end up in as your starting world? I picked the Night elves faction and got RWBY as my starting world."

"Oh! I choose the Alliance as my faction and named them The Arcanum because... I-I like magic a lot so it made sense for me to pick them, as for world I ended up in it's Dragon age... And yes I know, not exactly a very good place as my starting world either" Lorei sighed in sadness and frustration which I honestly can't fucking blame her for it.

I played both the first and second game of Dragon age and the world is... So fucking shitty with how racist and power hungry the humans are, how utterly greedy the dwarves are and how oppressed the elves currently being treated. Don't get me started with the Qunari and the Templar order and they constant shitty treatment to the Mages. So I honestly understand quite well how she feels like considering she was reborn as a Dark elf within a very unstable world.

"Well to be fair, the world of RWBY that I ended up in has bloody dark souls 2 shoved into it. Currently stuck in Drangleic with a magical barrier hiding the continent away from the rest of the world and yes, it's filled with so many nasty creatures that i'm currently in war with." I explained, surprising her "W-wait really? so you got two elements mixed together while i'm stuck in an elven racist world that comes close to breaking the walls of reality between the real world and the dream world?"

"In some hindsights... pretty much."

"...No fair." She pouted, which i admit looks frickin cute.

"But either way, wanna clear this dungeon out together?" I asked, pointing toward the entrance to the ruins which she perks up "R-Really!?"

"Well yeah, sure you're a glass cannon but that ain't a good reason to not help out a fellow gamer, right?" I said with a grin.

"Oh thank you! I was worried that nobody would help me because I screwed up my stats, i'm so glad to meet you Taesi and that my worries was unfounded!" Lorei thanked me, actually skips over to me and give me a hug and unintentionally squeezes our tits together while hugging me. Ya know? I don't mind something like this plus I'm not an asshole to ditch someone in need.

"You're welcome, so shall we go?" She let go of the hug and nodded.

We both walked over to the front entrance of the Vilverin Ruins and before I could open the front door, a menu screen pops up.

[You're about to enter the Vilverin ruins!]

[Do you wish to declare a boast before going inside?]

Boast 1: Fists only

Boast 2: No gear equiped

Boast 3: Sneak past all mob enemy

Boast 4: Never using potions

If failed at a boast you will get a reward penalty!

"Huh would you look at that." I commented while reading the boasts that me and Lorei can do.

"um... Do you want to use one of them?" The busty Dark elf asked.

"...Nah, this is our first dungeon run, let's just test the waters first before we do something stupid. Better we have some ideas how the dungeon mode works and in higher levels." I said, earning a thankful nod from my companion and I pressed decline and the screen vanished.

The Doors opened, allowing me and Lorei the entrance to the ruins itself as we gazed down at the stairecase leading down a rather dark room. We both just stared for the moment till I summoned my Titanite daggers and nodded at Lorei "I'll go first, this should be right up my valley as a sneaky assassin~" She nods and I went into stealth mode and quietly snuck down the stone white stairs. Once I was down I sees the first enemy which happens to be a regular Oblivion bandit in Fur armour.

Bandit

Level 10

HP 420/420

Race: Imperial

Description: Just a regular Bandit in Fur armour, not much of a threat but will call for others for help to overwhelm their enemies with numbers.

Sneaking around the guy was easy as he just stood there like a brain dead idiot as I sprung into action, stabbing first into his kidney while plunging my other dagger into his throat. He died gurgling as I called out quietly to Lorei to come as she bounce down the stairs carefully. Trying to not make much noise as we both descend further down into our first dungeon.

While there were moments that we were spotted and took upon myself to be the tank for Lorei, I did see how well she handle herself and holy shit she knows how to use her spells a lot more effeciently than I can do.

She waves her staff around conjuring either large flames or lightning that slashes the bandits, most of the time either cooking them or incinerating them into ashes but there were times she manage to split them in half. I can see why she would go for a pure mage build because I dealt with most of the more heavier hitters with much more HP to them while she deals with the crowd control as she blasts group after group of bandits with ease.

I may also been distracted few times due to her...*Cough* Assets bouncing around few times.

Hey I know I'm a women now but I was a man in my previous life, give me a break!

Anyway; as we killed so many of the bandits I noticed the amount of Experience we get is a little bit higher than what I usually would get. Each bandit seems to give me 85 Exp while the Lizardmen shamans would only give me 40 Exp and they happens to be somewhat the higher level than the usually grunts that I have to deal with. The toadmen doesn't count, they're pretty much design to be annoying mob enemy as an obstacle in your path!

However, another thing I noticed is that the Vilverin is a lot bigger than I remembered it to be, then I realized once more this isn't like in the game as many of the places like this isn't limited to game limitations and most of the Ayleid ruins WERE once large cities for the elves. So it is no wonder that after six rooms of either slaughter our way through or me going stealth and quietly slits their throats that it felt like it's taking a bit forever to reach our first boss. After I executed another bandit from behind with my two handed sword, me and Lorei stumbled upon the giant huge room leading to the second level of the Ruins and down below was another bandit... Except this guy looks a bit different from his cronies.

Garbed in heavy iron armour, wields a large warhammer and it so happens the guy is an Orc... Great.

Bandit leader

Level 15

HP 880/880

Race: Orsimer

Description: Leader of the Bandit group that you and your companion have pretty much killed off, now wants revenge.

Of course the guy saw us and drew his weapon while exclaims "So you bitches think you can slaughter my boys!? I'm going to break you!" And with that he let out a roar so fucking loud that it actually hurts my feline ears as I clamp over them with my hands. I saw at the corner of my view Lorei did the same as she was also affected and got a quick notification that we both got a debuff.

[Deafening roar]

Your senses are scrambled for few seconds!

Shit!

I looked where the first boss is and sees him LEAP from where he stood down below and up to us with his warhammer raised.

I manage to push Lorei out of the way while I myself barely avoided the downward strike from his hammer as it slam right into the floor, sending a shockwave as it sent both me and Lorei off the upper floor and down below. I grunted as I landed and immediately leap to my feet as I can feel the debuff went away, however glancing to Lorei I can see she's hurting and her HP is looking low.

Glancing to see the boss bandit leap over the railing to fight us I quickly cast Regrow on Lorei and picked up my two handed titanite Bastard sword and clash against this brute. I grit my teeth as my blade lock against his warhammer as we both pushed into overpowering one another. His Orc strength so far rivaling my own Youkai strength as I try to either push back or find another way to attack him. We both let go as we continue to strike and swing our weapons at each other, parrying or blocking as the sound of metal echoes through the ancient ruins while me fighting against someone who seems to be at the same level of fighting ability like my own.

Thinking to change my tactics I side stepped from another downward strike as I dismissed my bastard sword and summoned my daggers as I went in for the attack.

This time it worked a bit better as I manage to actually get a few hits and slices at him.

However He manage to block one of my slashes and was about to punch me, until a red barrier covered my form as his punch bounce off and staggered him. Glancing over to Lorei I can see she's healed up and used a barrier spell on me, giving her a nod of thanks I went in for the kill as I capitalised his staggered state as I sliched and diced on any opening that isn't covered in iron armour, ended it with an upper kick that sent him flying and Lorei finished him off with a well placed Fireball that crashed into him, exploding and sending his charred remains here and there while his warhammer falls to the ground, scorched heavily on the metal as the handle broke upon impact of the ground.

I panted slightly after the fight but grinned as I held up a high five to Lorei.

"Nice work! Our first boss we killed!"

Lorei smiled and high fived "Yeah... That roar of his took me by surprise." She admits while I nod "Tell me about it, wasn't expecting that bastard to have such kinds of lungs for that."

We both went quiet as we glance over to the door leading to the next level, me and Lorei looked at each other as I say "Ready to tackle another part of the dungeon?" Lorei nods and we both went through the door.

So far things went pretty smoothly and I can see why this is a normal dungeon mode because so far we have yet to face any sort of dangerous foes, aside from the bandit leader.

After Lorei and I went through the door, we dispatched the last remaining bandits that were left and the Busty Dark elf found the hidden switch that would enable us deeper into the dungeon. Once we found ourself inside a large chamber where a dead Khajiit bandit lies on a pedestal did I realize we're now in the more slightly higher difficulty level as loads of skeletons, zombies and some stray ghost start to appear from the darkness.

The skeletons were easy to deal with as either a slash from my Bastard sword or a fireball spell from Lorei is enough to destroy them in groups, Zombies were a bit tougher to deal with as they could tank many of the hits I deal out and setting them on fire didn't seem to work out for us as those bastards trying to hug us while they were burning. The ghost can go fuck themself, those bastards keeps at a distance while firing Ice bolts at us which forces me to change my armour to my default assassin set as one fucking blow that manage to hit me was enough to lower like a third of my health down.

When we manage to reach the second boss of the dungeon, it was some sort of a Lich of some kind.

He was... Pretty frickin easy to deal with as all me and Lorei had to do was using myself as bait and running around while it blasted magic at me, distracting it long enough for Lorei to finish her more powerful spells and unleashed it on that poor sucker who died in an instant as three literal pure blue flames with dragon shaped heads came out of her staff screaming and obliterated the Lich as nothing more than a scorch mark on the white stone floor.

...Yeah I can see why she focused on so much on the Intelligence and Willpower stats.

After we dealt (More like Lorei did most of the work on that one) with the lich and even leveled up from it we decided to take a break to catch our breath and rest after fighting endlessly through hordes of undead and getting hit with spells and arrows. During that time we talked a little bit about ourself and learned one another as a person. Before Lorei became the way she was, she was actually once a nice lady who liked to play rpg games but was very shy and timid. The day of her death she died due to a drunk truck driver drove his vehicle through her house and ended up killing her. Next she woke up butt naked within a forest and learned what had happened to her and what she was given.

She admitted that she was both horrified, sad and yet excited to not only be given a second chance with the power of gamer but that she was reborn as a sexy elf as she admitted she was pretty much just an average looking woman with barely any contacts with her enstrange family and very little friends...Which also doesn't exactly help me either as it feels like I got even shafted even harder due to the fact she got her wish to be reborn as a sexy elf while myself is forced to experience what it means to be a female.

And yes.

She laughed like crazy when I told her the truth and how utterly awkward it felt the first few days as a Nekomata.

Anyway, she further explains a bit more what's going on over her world and that she's currently on some mountains where there are barely any human, dwarf or elven contacts which she uses her advantage to build her kingdom there. She manage to at least make some good defenses and bases long enough to finally having contact with the outside world and unfortunately it's bunch of humans... Which also happens to belong to the Templar order and sees her and them using non-fade magic and yet still goes hostile because of both unrestricted magic and her elven heritage.

Yeah needless to say the small army that came to her mountain didn't stand a chance against the constant gunfire from the Riflemen and mortar fire that the nearby kingdom had to intervene and make peace with her out of fear that their kingdom would get caught in the crossfire. Yeah a lot of people from the Chantry was NOT happy that Lorei and her people will be running free while taking in both apostles, Elven refugees and anyone that has a frickin brain to understand the Chantry's iron grip on Religion isn't working or having different belief.

Well at least she started out somewhat nicely with minor problems. Me? i'm still stuck in Drangleic and has yet to make contact with the rest of the world due to a wide continent magic barrier keeping me, my kingdom and the monsters that lives there inside.

After our conversation and getting to know one another better, I went right away to send a friend request to Lorei which she happily accepted.

After our break we decided to finally go and reach the last boss after fighting through another horde of the undead. Once we reach the last chamber where I remember there lives a necromancer (I think?) who just roams around his bedroll, when we got there the area was definitely lit by torches and the chamber was twice bigger than it was in game... Interestingly enough I don't see the last boss anywhere.

"Huh, that's weird. Where is the guy?" I asked, leaning my bastard sword against my shoulderpad while wearing my assassin set.

"I don't know... Be careful, it could be a trap." Lorei warned as she held her staff out and cast "Sensing" spell. The sheer amount of different spell this girl knows astonishes me, I really need to update my pool of spells as I'm still stuck with two different bolt of spells. After she cast sensing, she stiffed as she slowly points her staff behind one of the pillars and whispers "Over there..." I kept quiet as I wasn't sure what exactly Lorei sensed but whatever it is, must be strong if she froze up like that.

Putting my sword away I took out the night elven bow and nocked an arrow as we both carefully, tip toed near the walls to get a better view of the last boss of this dungeon.

Once I manage to get a view of whatever the hell the last boss is, I raised my bown, crouch down and aimed at the shadowy figure. Then I release the arrow and let it fly as it soar through the air and struck the side of the figure which hisses loudly as it turns toward our direction. Suddenly it moves toward us frickin fast before I even have a chance to take out my daggers as it manage to grab onto my shoulders and sunk their teeth into the side of my neck.

I let out a pained gasp as the creature began suck blood from my neck, paralyzing me as I couldn't move.

"Get away from her!"

There was a flash behind the monster as it let go of me screaming in pain as the stench of burnt flesh hits my nostrils, but it was enough for me to stagger back and clutch the side of my neck while taking a better look at the thing that attacked me.

Vampire

Level 20

HP 2321/2450

Race: Breton Vampire

Description: A vampire that lurks beneath the ruins of Vilverin, it hasn't feed for quite some time so it is currently mad with hunger.

Oh fuck me!

The now revealed Vampire whirl around to face Lorei whom is taking few steps back to get a distance from it, but it didn't help as it disappears in a flock of bats and reappears behind her as it grabs onto her and ready to bite her neck. Luckily she seems to be ready for that as she flashes her light spell and blinded it for a moment, enough to give me time to recover and fire Wrath bolt at it as Lorei dodged the spell attack.

The bolt hits dead on at the Vampire's chest as it let out a shriek of pain but it didn't kill it as it took out a rapier and focuses on Lorei. Seeing that the thing is trying to kill her I sprinted toward it while taking my bow out and start firing arrows at it.

It looks at me with angered annoyance as it holds a hand out and fires a bolt of red energy at me, I quickly dodged the attack and continue to pelt the bastard with arrows as it disappears in another flock of bats and reappear in the middle of the chamber. It holds its hands out as dark red energy gathers around it and thrust outward as the vampiric magic explodes and engulfes the skeletal remains around us. The corpses suddenly twitch and rises as now suddenly there are over a dozen of skeletons armed with rusted weapons, ready to kill us.

"Oh come on!" I growled out as I switch my bow to my daggers as I start fight against the skeletons that charges at me and Lorei, cutting us off from reaching one another.

The Vampire then decided that Lorei was the bigger threat due to her magic and decides to try finish her off as it charges toward her with its rapier raised. Lorei was too busy firing her spells at the undead to focus on the vampire so I did the only thing I could think of; I threw one of my daggers at the vampire and by some miracle I manage to catch the side of his throat.

The suddenly blow to him was enough to cause him lose control of the skeleton as they freezes for a moment, but it was enough for Me to throw my other dagger at it but it was prepared as it swings its blade and knocks my dagger aside in the air with a growl while glaring hatefully at me. But I merely smirked as I had given Lorei enough time to prepare her spell as the crackling of lightning fills the air as we both turn toward the busty, skimpy clad Dark elf who exclaimed while pointing her hand and staff at the Vampire.

"Arc Lance!"

A pure beam of Lightning shot out of her staff as it not only destroyed the skeletons in her way but it manage to puncture the chest of the vampire who was too slow to dodge, once the beam of Lightning stopped a large hole is visible on the Vampire's chest as it gaped down at its wound; before it breaks down into dust and the skeletons falls as there was no one to control them anymore.

The last dungeon boss is dead.

I let out a sigh of relief as the damn Vampire is now dead, with winces as I clamp my hand on the side of my throat "Son of a bitch... I hope I don't turn into a frickin Vampire cat from this!" I growled out as Lorei lightly jog over to me and takes out a healing potion "Here take this, should be helping with the bloodloss." Looking at my health I noticed just from the bite itself was enough to bring me down like fourth of my health. Nodding I gracefully took it and drank it, grimace at the taste but I could feel the two puncture wounds closing and feeling a bit better.

"Jesus, out of all bosses a fucking vampire has to be the one we fight against." I mutter.

"I'm just glad we manage to beat the dungeon, shall we go and see our rewards?" Lorei asked and I nodded, just want the Dungeon to be over now.

We both walked out of the last door that would lead us back to the entrance, instead we came upon a large room with glowing crystalks on the side and at the end of the room was a large chest. Walking over to it we both grabbed hold onto it and opened it, as we slowly opens it a golden light shines out of the opening and once we manage to fully open the chest; we got notification screens of what we won as we looked down in the chest of our rewards!

[Congratulation! You cleared the Dungeon raid!]

Mission: Explore the ancient Ayleid ruins and kill the last boss in the last room!

Bosses: 3/3 [x]

Bonus Objective: don't get killed. [x]

Reward: 2500 gold, 8000 EXP, Random Oblivion rare weapon (Elven bow), Random Oblivion rare spell (Absorb Health).

Bonus Reward: Bloodfang (Daggers)

Smirking as I bent down to grab the blood colored curved daggers, checking them to see they were almost near the same kind of stats my titanite infused daggers are except these puppies has an enchantment on them, with each strike I can actually absorb the health of my opponent and never run out.

Glancing at the Elven crafted bow I give it a test by pulling the string and actually feel it to a bit more smoother and lighter than the standard night elf bow that I have. Not to mention I instantly learned the Absorb health spell and already can see various way to abuse this spell! not to mention me and Lorei Leveled up as well from the reward Exp!

Pretty nifty rewards I say~

"Oooh!" Hearing Lorei squee in glee as she reaches down to take out another staff, it's some sort of an ice staff of some kind as she test the balance and likely checking the stats of it.

We grabbed our loot that we got and left the ruins, now standing outside the front entrance as the sun shine down at us as I sighed in relief and stretched "Maaan! It took a while but we did it~" Lorei nodded happily "We did, I truly hope we can do more of this together Taesi"

"Hope so too, You take care now and don't be afraid to visit when feel like it" I said, giving the busty Dark elf a thumb up.

She smiles and nods, we both said farewell and promised to keep in touch for any future dungeon raids or just wanting to hang out. Soon we both left through the same portal that brough us to this generated Dungeon and back to where we came from. After that Light show I opened my eyes to see i'm back inside my office where I left and equiped my Fiery armour set again and sat down.

"Man, am I glad to have fought with another gamer... Wonder who else I might meet in the future?" I pondered as I lean back in my chair.

Before I can go back to work on finding ways of beating the Lizardmen "Lady Taesi, it's me Tervalian." Then Tervalian telephatically contacted me, getting serious I answered back "Hello Tervalian, any luck with your mission? did you manage get in touch with whoever lives at the town?"

"We did, wasn't easy to convince them that we're not their enemies. But we manage to get in touch with the leader of the Tribe and told them of you, they wish to meet with you and discuss with the threat of the Dreadclaw... After proving to them of a task they failed in completing." Tervalian said.

"Task? what task?"

"It's best you come here to find out yourself, the leader was rather tight lipped with what they wanted."

"...Alright, I'll be there." I said, frowning a bit.

While I'm glad Tervalian manage to find the Deepwood Tribe but it sounds like they want something for me to do for them, whatever it is it can't be good nor easy if whatever it is that they couldn't solve and now they're pretty much handing it to me to deal with and already I have no idea what it is and why it is important.

Only one way to find out is by travelling there...Gonna have to bring with me a squad worth of warriors to my side.

Something tells me it's going to get messy.

OMAKE: Scrapped scene!

"Other than the fact the tribe of those monsters are gonna attack us again within a moment, nothing so far m'lady." Tervalian answered.

So the very least I could do for him who gave his own life to defend the archers and healers was to rename this place Bo'svania tower, in honor of that brave troll priests sacrifice.

"Hmm I see..." Jack muses as he was in thought of this revelation "If we can contact this Deepwood Tribe, not only would we have an ally to fight alongside with but also a wealth of information of the current state of the rest of Drangleic."

"My thought exactly, if we can send someone to show we mean no threat and wishes to talk things out we co-" Before I could finish my sentence, a loud horn bellowed through out the base as it was soon followed with loud warning bell ringing out, which means one thing... We're going to be attacked once more. Only difference is that I set up two different set of alarms to showcase what sort of threat we're dealing with here. If only a horn is sound that means it's a small horde, but if the horn is followed by the alarm bells that means we're going to be attacked by a huge fucking horde!

"Dammit, change of plans boys." I growled as I summoned my bow, which happens to be a standard Night elven bow, as I directed orders to both of them "Jack keep those fuckers far away from reaching the entrance of our base, Tervalian take some of your stalkers and try make contact with the Deepwood tribe and see if it's possible to not only establish a friendly relation with them but see if they can spare their tethered hollows and help us out with the attack!"

"What about you M'lady?" He asked.

"I'll be up at the towers and try support Jack by range, it's time to see if my archery training pays off." I merely stated. Tervalian nodded and turn to order the Stalkers that stood silently next to us to follow and the group quickly left the base. Jack nodded at my plan and ordered those who could fight on the ground to follow him and forming a wall against our enemies. Saw most of the Huntresses and Axe throwers follow him, along with Wraith bringers as they had their undead minions following them which also happens to be Tethered Hollows that they found wandering around the woods and equiped them with better weaponry and gear.

I'm so frickin glad that I have some necromancers helping me here, the sheer amount of Hollows under my command has helped me a lot of thin down the numbers of the Lizardmen and not throw them away like cannon fodders like those fuckers do.

Difference between them and us is that we take care of our undead minions properly and ensure they are well equiped and strong enough to hold on their own, while they just throws them at us with no regard of their well being. Turns out my idea of maintaining the Hollows with more tactics and better gear worked out a lot better than it did for them~

"Alright, show time." I said quietly to myself as I ran up the stairs leading to one of the three towers that I had built, along the way up i got new notification from the quest system.

[New quest objective!]

The second Assault!

The leader of the Dreadclaw had decided to try once more to attack your forward base, repell the enemy until they either give up or there are none left to fight

Reward: 12000 EXP, 4000 Gold, 4000 Lumber, New potential unit at the Ancient of War and Haunted house!

Bonus objective: Kill Hero class enemy

Bonus Reward: S Rank summoning Crystal

Dismissing the screen after reading over it quickly, I hurrying along to reach the top of the tower.

The main biggest tower is located above the forward base with two smaller wider ones next to it, the main one is where most of all of our range units are located while the other two would have most of the glaive throwers with half of ranger crew stationed within them and the only way inside the towers are through the main entrance to the Forward base which so happens to have Jack of Blades along with the rest of the troops guarding and making sure none of those freaks gets past. Beside even if some miracle they do they would have to break down the large thick wooden doors that are closed.

Once I reach the upper level of the tower I could see the wide view of the landscape below me. From a long distance I could see the fortress that houses the Dreadclaw, along with some ruined towers covered by moss and vegetation at the outskirt of the fortress. Looking down below I could see the small red cloaked figure of Jack of Blades leading our troops and stationing them where they should be, I can count the amount of Huntresses, Trolls and nekomata and their hollow minions down there. over 200 Huntresses, 300 Axe Throwers, 50 witch doctors, 50 Wraith bringers and 200 armoured Tethered Hollows with tower shields and spears; which the Nekomatas are guiding their minions to the front and to act as a wall with spears ready to skewer the enemies once they're close.

While up in the defense tower most are over 400 archers, 100 axe throwers, 10 witch doctors and 100 Wraith bringers, along with six glaive throwers that has been modified to launch not just giant glaives but also mana bombs at our enemies.

I really should thank Andre for helping modifying them because I can literally see the sheer amount of those monsters charging out of the fortress and holy shit! this... This is far more than what it was last time! Using observ to count how many there are, over 3000 of Lizardmen, forty Toadmen and along with five of what looks like four armed humanoid lions pouring out of the gates and charging toward our location.

This...Will take time to cull, doesn't it?

It will take few minutes before the first wave arrives at arrow ranges so I had my troops double check the amount of arrows, bombs, axes and what else we can use before start firing. Once I see everything checks out I stood by my archers and axe throwers and readying my bow and arrow, taking deep and calm breath while lining my shots and waited till they were in range. It didn't take long for my glaive throwers to start firing mana bombs in the midle of the first wave and already blowing those freaks of nature apart with high concentrated energy, but that doesn't stop them as they still keep charging. Once they were within second in range I bellowed "FIRE!" and released the bowstring and let my arrow fly free as it soar through the air and found its mark in the chest of a Lizardmen shaman.

No sooner I ordered to fire everyone fired with everything they had, from arrows to axes, to dark magic and debuff spells.

I saw the first wave of so many of those monsters die to the sheer volley of our projectiles, this slaughter continue on despite they didn't quit and walking over the bodies of their dead. The creatures roars and screams, desperately charges to the first line where Jack and the wall of Hollows stood waiting, as I continue to fire arrow after arrow my mind wondered what exactly is their plan here? Charge blindly to the killzone and pray that they would actually reach our first line of defense?

Before I could ponder more on that as I reloaded another arrow and fired, expecting it to hit one of the mass of monsters down below.

"GAH!?"

I wasn't expecting a humanoid, darkly clad chameleon looking creature to appear out of fucking nowhere up on the railing of the tower as it fell to its death, followed by more seemingly getting shot by accident as me and my fellow rangers were completely surprised and confused as to what the fuck just happened. That is until I realized very quickly who ever it is that is leading these creaturers plan was as I dismissed my bow and summoned my daggers as I screamed out "CRAWLERS ON THE WALL!" No sooner I shouted that, a number of those chameleon creaturers appears armed with daggers and axes as they began to engage us in close combat.

These creatures manage to capture some of my archers and Wraith bringers off guards as they were either stabbed or thrown off the tower, but that didn't last very long as my warriors retaliate immediately with even more bloodier result. Turns out these creaurers aren't that strong nor know how to properly use their weapons as they were killed or thrown off the tower with little effort.

I slashed and hacked some of them as they fell to the floor bleeding, looking around I could see more crawling up over the railing and uses the chance to observ them.

Description:

Hey everyone, once more back again with another chapter and introduction of another gamer!

Not much to say about this chapter as I tried find some other way to introduce another form of the ID dungeon grind except you can have other gamers helping the MC out, but also introducing another potential character gamer Lorei Xevias the Busty Dark elf sorceress. Wanted to see how it worked with her and see if there are any future possibility for her to appear in another story, because right now she's mostly going to be either a guest character or a potential ally for Taesi in the future. As for you guys suggestions of what other type of hero units, they're something to think on and will see if there is a possibility to see if it works or not.

Also good god, adding Yukari in the world of RWBY will not end well!

Also the Scrapped scene that I had going was meant for another assault from the Dreadclaw tribe whom I finally came up with a name of the enemy as its member doesn't seems to boast of their tribes glory or what not. To showcase that they're no longer fucking around and are taking this seriously.

Yeah decided against writing that scene and save it for something else.

Oh but on another note before I'm ending with the author note, been planning to draw what sort of armour design Taesi is going to wear as to show what it looks like in illustration than described in words. If you guys have any sort of suggestion what sort of other armour type she could be wearing i'm open to hear them!

Well I hope you enjoyed the chapter, take care and have a happy summer!
