Chapter 2: The Wrath of Eris Part 1

From within Francoise Dupont High School, one of the most popular public schools in Paris, a small gathering of students were seen watching the daily news from the phone of Alya Cessaire.

Although it is usually uncommon for youths to be invested in watching these types of media, this news however wasn't necessarily what would usually be considered as "boring".

And once again the city is saved thanks to the brave efforts of our very own superheroes and guardian angels, Ladybug and Chatnoir.

All then cheered for the victory of their heroes. But such a celebration was later disturbed by the hecklings of a certain someone.

Oh please, Chloe spat with full bitterness in her mouth as she trimmed her nails. As if anybody couldn't have done that.

The crowd who were happy earlier were now glaring at the blond annoyed. All except for a boy who didn't get that what the blond had stated was meant to be an insult.

What are you talking about Chloe?

Alya raised her hand as to say "I'll take it from here" with a smug smile formed in her lips. Don't waste your breath Kim, she's just still mad because Ladybug kicked her out.

Ridiculous!, Chloe shouted. Utterly ridiculous!

Who in their right minds would ever think of kicking out someone like moi?!, she dramatically placed her right hand to her chest as to indicate herself. So I didn't obey her commands. Big whoop. It's not like she's any better. It's ridiculous on how much faith you all place on a jerk masquerading as a saint.

May I remind you Chloe., Alya spoke once again. That this "jerk" you speak of had managed to have saved your life for more than once.

So what if she did?, the blond proclaimed almost uncaringly. That's still not a good enough reason for me to trust her.

Unbelievable., Alya deadpanned.

Actually Alya., she heard a voice speaking so she turned her head towards the voice's direction and saw that it was from Lila Rossi.

As much as I hate agreeing with anything Chloe has to say. I do believe that she might have a point on this one. At least on the last part anyway.

A point?, Alya repeated while raising a brow.

The brunette girl took in a deep breath and nodded. She looked to be as if she was over ridden by guilt, as if whatever she was thinking about in her mind was something that she regretted.

So with one more exhale, the girl spoke.

No one knows who Ladybug is. None of us know who Ladybug is. I mean I get that it's in order to protect her identity and all but still, how can we trust someone who we know totally nothing about?

We know she likes saving people., someone from the crowd suggested.

Well yes, I can give you that., Lila agreed. But how much do we really understand the extend of it.

The extend of it?, Alix asked, somehow feeling unsure.

Lila nodded her head again before continuing. She also took in another deep breath while doing so.

Look. I'm not saying I'm not grateful towards her. After all she has managed to have saved my life for more than one occasion as well., she paused for a few seconds before proceeding. But a superhero coming out of nowhere? Sounds like something cut straight out of a comic book to me. I and so many others would be forgiven for just being a little bit sceptical.

No one's sure of where she came from or what her true motivations are. Unlike most superheroes, Ladybug prefers to keep her identity to herself. And that part is kinda concerning. Yes she's a hero with the mask on, but who is she without it?

Is she an orphan? Does she live with her parents? Does she truly attend school? Heck for all we know she could actually be working with Hawkmoth, and all this akuma attacks could actually be well… an act.

An act?!, Alya shouted.

Tell me. How is this!, she neared her phone close to Lila's face where the screen displayed the latest battle. Simply just an act?! How is all this!, she then gestured towards everywhere as to indicate all the recent happenings since Hawkmoth came to the scene. Simply an act?! Why on Earth will she do all this?! for an act?!

For attention., Lila answered simply. I'm sorry Alya. I know that you're a huge Ladybug fan but-

For attention! Why would she do all this just for attention?! Why would she risk so many of people's lives just for attention?! When there are clearly more than a hundred different ways for her to do that?!

It was somewhere within those words that something had clicked inside Lila. Her expression changed from that of guilt to that of anger. Her face became alien to the crowd who were watching. No one has ever seen Lila with that expression before. She was always so kind and sweet that no one had ever thought or considered if she was even capable of becoming angry.

Some who even presently saw her right now had even thought that she looked quite terrifying.

Why wouldn't anyone do all this simply "just for attention".

She turned her eyes to gaze at every person who were listening. Her lips making a satisfied smirk.

I am sure that everyone around here is aware of the fact that superheroes haven't been patrolling the streets in years, right? Then "miraculously" two of them showed up just when a supervillain had appeared. Now I don't know anything about you guys but that kind of sounds a bit suspicious.

And not only that! Since then Ladybug has not only been seen as a hero, but also as an icon. A national icon. And that might have been her end game all along. To be seen and venerated. To have statues made in her likeness. To be worshipped as if she were some sort of goddess who was worthy of our devotion. Yes, we see Ladybug as special, simply because she's the only one. However if there were other heroes in Paris, who knows. She might just end up as another grain of sand one ignores on the beach.

Why you-, to say Alya was angry would be an understatement. She was furious. Her blood was now boiling and her temper was now rising.

True. She had no clue of who the girl behind the mask was either. But there was something about the spotted heroin that had always made her feel a sense of familiarity.

Every time she had conversed with Ladybug, she never felt as if she were talking to a stranger, but with a close friend, or a sister even.

She wasn't certain why exactly. It was simply a gut feeling of hers. And the young blogger was always the type to follow in her gut feelings.

And right now her gut feelings were practically screaming at her to defend her sister.

However as she was about to attack the brunette, a boy had came in to block her.

She looked at the boy and saw that it was Nino.

Let's not loose our heads., the boy quickly said as he made sure that he was separating the two. Yes. Both of you make quite a compelling argument. True blind faith is dangerous, but so is making up conspiracy theories with no hardcore evidences to back them up.

Correct. None of us are sure as to whom Ladybug is. But as far as we're all concerned she, along with Chatnoir, are the only two forces standing between Hawkmoth and the safety of the public. So until then, Ladybug and Chatnoir are here to stay.

All then cheered and applauded their hands once he was done with his little speech.

Nino smiled in appreciation of his own efforts. He then turned his head around, looked down, and saw an upset looking Alya who was probably feeling guilty for almost causing a fight over something so trivial.

His smile then turned into a sympathetic one.

He bent down, meeting his eyes with that of Alya's, then moved forward to his girlfriend's ear. Whispering-

And besides, I'm sure whoever Ladybug is, is definitely bound to be an awesome duddete. Otherwise, she wouldn't have picked such an awesome team.

Alya made a sigh of comfort at his attempts to cheer her up. It was one of the few reasons of how she had managed to have fallen in love with the dork in the first place.

Suddenly the door opened and in came a loud thud.

Sorry I'm late!, cried a girl with dark blue hair and pigtails who had fallen to the cold wooden floor when she entered.

Some laughing was heard as she attempted to get up. She also tried to wipe her tears away, hoping that no one would notice.

She then saw a hand being extended in front of her.

She looked up and saw that it was her best friend Alya.

She then smiled and accepted it.

You know, Alya started, I always did wondered on why you could never seem to come to school early.

That's because I always had to walk in order to get here., Marinette explained nonchalantly.

Alya just stared at her in a shocked yet laughing way.

Girl! You literally live right across the street!

They then both laughed at their own sense of humor.

I swear, the girl with glasses said, if there was anyone out there who comes to school just like you do is definitely bound to be your soul mate.

Just then, as if the universe itself was playing with her words, the door burst open and entered a boy who was panting while holding his knees, looking as if he had to run an entire marathon, despite the fact that he always rode a limousine to school everyday. A common fact that in which everyone in the room was aware of.

Sorry I'm late!, the boy said between breaths.

Speak of the devil., Alya sarcastically muttered with folding arms. She looked to her side, expecting Marinette to be gushing or something like that. But instead what she saw was her looking down depressingly.

She was about to ask Marinette when suddenly-

Adrien. Bro., Nino came in giving the blond a fist bump. Not so long after, other people flocked in greeting the two. Completely unaware that another of their classmates had just arrived. And no one greeted her

She sighed as she awkwardly walked in. But soon got startled when a high pitch voice came calling her name.

She smiled.

Of course, she could always count on one particular individual to make her feel as if she wasn't always invisible. And that by itself was enough for her to be thankful.

She turned around to face that particular person and was instantly tackled into a bear hug by a short, pink, but surprisingly strong blond haired girl.

Hi Rose., she said with her usual monotonous voice.

I missed you so much!, Rose squealed.

That made Juleka raise an eyebrow. But I've only been gone for a day?

The blond giggled., I know. So, how did your family trip went?

It was good I guess., Juleka explained., Though I wouldn't really consider it as the best. My favorite part probably was when-

She was interrupted by her line of story when she suddenly took notice that her best friend was no longer paying attention to her, and instead had somehow became distracted when her eyes landed on something that she was probably wearing.

She looked to see what it was and immediately covered it up with her hand out of embarrassment.

It was her necklace.

It's beautiful., Rose said delightedly as her eyes sparkled like it usually does whenever she becomes overly ecstatic.

It's nothing., Juleka replied shyly.

Where did you get it?

I-I got it as a gift.

I'm sure whoever gave that to you must be someone truly special.

A smile formed on Juleka's lips after hearing that.

Yeah. He was.

Meanwhile somewhere across the room was Nathanael who was nervously-awkwardly walking his way to his new locker. The reason behind why he was nervous was simple.

He was short.

To explain, as an artist Nathanael always had to train himself in order to spot the smallest details. It was because of this practice that he had now gained an eye in noticing things that others would simply ignore.

It was through this skill that he could achieve in sketching the most lifelike and most realistic of drawings. Whether those drawings be Notre Dame, or a simple bracelet.

It was something that he was mostly proud of. But it was also something that he would sometimes regret.

The moment he had first entered the locker room today was also the moment that he had realized that almost all of his male peers had actually grown taller since the last year.

Even Max had now stood a few inches high.

He was embarrassed to say the least. Being the only one of the guys who hasn't experience a growth spurt during the summer.

Nathanael knew that it was absurd to be acting all worked up over something that no one would seem to care about. But still he just couldn't help but feel ashamed of himself.

As he finally reached his new locker, along with unlocking it with the combinations he had on his jacket's pocket. He placed most of his belongings inside and was about to lock it again before-

Hello Nathanael.

Oh no.

His body stiffened once he heard her voice. And the feeling of dread started to grow inside of him.

For standing right next to him was no other than the demoness herself. Chloe Bouggeois.

What? No hello back?, asked Chloe mockingly.

I am surprised and disappointed at you Nathanael, she sarcastically remarked, here I am giving you some of my precious time. And all you do is just stand there making me feel as if I were talking to no one.

Oh wait, I am!, she jeered as she laughed at her own joke.

Nathanael really hated occasions like this. He hated being mocked at, being teased at, being stepped on. He hated being reminded that he was weak and powerless.

But then again, what can he do really?

It's not like he was capable of talking back to the demoness like Marinette.

You know, this is actually one of the few things that I like about you., she suddenly stated, causing the redhead to look at her bewilderedly.

The blond then made a teasing smirk before continuing.

Unlike the others, you know your place. Unlike some "other people", you know just when to shut up and stay quiet. You know when to remain on where you stand. And for that I shall now leave you with your own little world and those trash you call art.

She turned around waving her ponytail at him. Once again laughing at her own sickening joke as if it were the most funniest thing that had ever come from her mouth.

Nathanael felt infuriated. Anger boiling to the deepest part of his core. But it was later replaced into that of shock once he witnessed a locker door suddenly opening out of no where, hitting Chloe straight on the face.

The poor girl knelt down in agony as two people came in rushing to her aid.

Chloe!, Sabrina cried out.

Are you alright miss?, asked a boy who was probably the owner of the said locker.

Ouch! My nose. I think it's bleeding? Quick someone take me to the nurse's office.

As Nathanael watched the sudden turn of events, his shock was suddenly turned to that into a smile.

He was aware that it was wrong to revel at the misery of others, however if he were being honest with himself, seeing Chloe get her just deserves was just a somehow satisfying.

Then suddenly he heard the bell ringing, which everyone knew meant that the first day of classes was about to begin.

And with that Nathanael took a deep breath to relax him self, closing his eyes before finally closing up his locker.

The first day of class started with science with Ms. Mendeleive who decided to start with the classic "introduce your self".

This was done so that everyone can know about the new comers and vice versa. Some of them even explaining that it was their first time attending at Paris. And some almost nearly admitting that the only reason why they chose Francoise Dubont High School was because of the rumors circulating about both Ladybug and Chatnoir going here. Along of course with the fact that the school was one of the city's main hotspots for akuma attacks. Something that they found to be exciting.

Shortly after everyone was finished with their introductions Ms. Mendeleive turned her head to the door where she heard knocking.

Through the windows she saw Chloe and Sabrina, who she heard had to run to the nurse.

She nodded. Indicating for them to come in. Once they did though, almost everyone went bursting into a fit of laughter due to the state of Chloe's nose. While others simply giggled at the sight. The only exception probably would be Adrien who felt concerned for his childhood friend.

This obviously didn't sit well with Chloe.

Ridiculous! You're all utterly RIDICULOUS!

The blond tried to taunt them but it only resulted in them to laugh even harder because of how funny her voice now sounded due to her nose being all wrapped out in bandages.

Alright that is enough!, Ms. Mendeleive shouted and slowly the class started to calm down.

She then gestured for Chloe and Sabrina to proceed in finding there seats. To which they had followed.

Now that everyone had calmed down Ms. Mendeleive had cleared her throat and told her class to take out their notebooks and write down all the Safety Rules that one must follow whenever they are at the science lab. Explaining that she didn't want a repeat of the incident she had last year with another class. Obviously referring to the Blue Foam Catastrophe.

And just to make sure that they follow. She also told them that she would be checking each one of their notes once class was over.

Many, if not all groaned internally but nevertheless proceeded to do it anyway.

As Nathanael grabbed hold of his notebook he then took out his pencil case after. But it was only when he opened his pencil case that he had realized that he had done a mistake.

He had brought in the wrong pencil case.

His eyes widened in panic. For sure Ms. Mendeleive will call him out for this and blame it on his "artistic endeavors".

He then decided to scavenge his bag, hoping he could find something there. When that didn't work he decided to ask Alix, the person sitting next to him, if she had any extra pen or pencil that he could possibly borrow.

Alix searched, only for her to shake her head in apology.

Nervousness started to grow as he placed his head on the table while clutching his hair in utter hopelessness. Fearing the trouble he would be facing from his science teacher on the first day.

As he did he remembered of how his mothers asked him if he had already brought his pencil case this morning. Perhaps he should have listened to them and simply took a double look.

All of a sudden Nathanael noticed a faint blue light glowing from within his bag.

Curious, the boy wondered on what could be causing it as he didn't recall bringing anything that could be capable of such things.

Having enough of not knowing , the boy placed his hand inside to see what it was only to find that the light had stopped glowing the moment that he did.

He was also shock to find that his pencil case (the right one) was inside.

But how can that be?, he wondered, he was certain that it wasn't there earlier when he searched for it.

He wanted to ponder on this before his eyes took a short glance at the clock.

He then decided to ponder on this one later as he still had a list to write down.

Meanwhile, sitting not that far from him was another soul struggling with her own issues.

While writing down the rules on her notebook the young goth can't help but subconsciously replay the talk that she had with her brother this morning in her head.

You are everything you've ever wanted to be and more,

Yeah right

Beautiful,

No.

Talented,

Of course not.

Brave.

As if.

All you need is a little confidence for you to see it for yourself. All you need is for you to finally get out of your cocoon, spread your wings, and soar.

And once that happens, all eyes… will be on you.

If only it were that easy., she whispered.

Just then she felt someone nudging her. Juleka glanced to her left and saw Rose who was pointing her blue eyes to her left hand.

Juleka looked and saw that the pen she was writing with had now gone missing.

She probably just dropped it.

She took a quick look under the table and saw her pen. But when she bent down to reach it she was immediately met with shock at what she was seeing.

To describe, Juleka's hand, was no longer a… well hand?

The palm, fingers, and occasional fingerless glove was now replaced with that of what seemed to be an insect's leg or something of that kind. Juleka didn't really know.

Frightened at the sight, the young goth blinked, hoping that it could simply just be her brain playing tricks on her. But when she opened them again she saw that it was still there. She blinked a couple more times until she finally concluded that whatever was happening to her, was definitely not a work of her own imaginations.

She took a peek at her entire class. Checking to see if anyone else had noticed her oddly spending too much time under the desk. Fortunately they didn't.

She was relieved at that, but not for long. As she looked back to take another glance at her used-to-be-hand, she instantly observed that whatever had caused the change in her hand was now slowly threatening to do the same to her entire arm.

Now filled with a feeling of dread. The young girl panicked, not exactly wanting her classmates to see.

With no other choice the girl raised her hand (her other hand) in order to get the teacher's attention. But as always, she was ignored.

Juleka deadpanned in annoyance.

Of all the days really.

She then made the decision to march to Ms. Mendeleive all while covering her freakish mutation with her spare hand.

Ms. Couffaine-

I need to go to the bathroom., she said monotonously yet hurriedly at the same time. She knew it was rude to interrupt a teacher while she was still speaking , but right now it was urgent.

You can go once class is-

It's an emergency.

Ms. Mendeleive gave the youth a stern look before changing it to that of defeat when she gave in and nodded. So with that, Juleka smiled and ran towards the door, but not without saying thank you of course.

Once she left, the science teacher slowly shook her head.

Kids this days., she thought.

Oh Ms. Mendeleive.

She turned her head to the direction of her caller.

She saw Chloe Bourgeois raising her hand up.

I need to go to the bathroom too.

Within one of the many bathroom stalls was where Juleka hid. She gazed at her mutation, which has now covered her entire arm. She feared that it might continue taking over her entire being.

She wondered on what could possibly be the cause of what was happening to her.

At first she tried to pinch herself, trying to see if her current circumstance could all simply be just one huge nightmare.

It didn't work. But she sure wished it did.

She then wondered if perhaps she was akumatized. However based on her own experiences of being akumatized herself, she knew that this wasn't exactly how akumatizations work. So she had to debunk that theory as well.

Now not knowing what else to do or think about, the girl sighed in defeat.

She knew that she desired for attention. But not like this. Now everyone was going to view her as a freak.

As if you haven't heard that before, her own inner voice told her.

It was true though. Juleka had been called out and labelled as a freak plenty of times in the past.

Growing up, Juleka was never really the typical average kid one could find on a regular basis. While as other girls played princesses and tea parties, she liked to collect bugs and slugs, while as they loved to draw cute stuff like kittens and puppies, she liked to draw spooky images such as ghosts and zombies, while as they liked wearing pink, she adored wearing black, while as others were obsessed on playing with dolls, she- well she liked playing with dolls as well, she simply just preferred making up her own ones which ultimately made her seem creepy in the eyes of plenty.

In short she wasn't normal. Which resulted in her being called names such as freak, the weird one, the odd one, she had even heard adults at times calling her a witch, or a Satanist. To which she knew she wasn't.

Honestly, she thought, if the universe didn't want to ignore her it would certainly find ways to show that it hated her.

She sometimes wondered on what kind of crime she had committed in her past life for her to deserve all this.

There was a moment in her life where she had grew tired of it all and decided to change her ways to what was deemed "normal", but her parents refused on that idea, telling her that she was unique and that people would grow tired eventually.

And they did. But the scars had lasted to this day.

She gazed at her arm one more time until she started crying.

Juleka wondered on what names they would call her next. Monster? Insect arm?, or if the universe decided to give her some mercy, freak.

She didn't really care what they would call- oh who was she kidding, she definitely cared about what they would call her.

More tears fell from Juleka's eyes as she remembered the words her family use to encourage her.

Her mother told her that she should be proud of who she was.

But she didn't.

Her brother told her that she was awesome.

But she doubted.

Her father told her she was beautiful.

But she wasn't.

She wasn't any of those things. She was nothing but a piece of garbage. That was what she was. And that was what she will always will be.

She wanted to believe her family's words, she wanted to believe those words so badly. But no matter how she tried, she couldn't.

They keep telling her that she was special, that she was unique, that she wasn't like anybody else. But honestly, all she wanted right now was to be just that. To be regular, to be average. All she wanted right now, was to be normal.

When Juleka opened her eyes again she was shocked to find her hand had returned. She looked at it as if she hadn't seen it in a long while.

She observed it, turning her hand from back to front. She tried playing with her fingers, and she had even tried to check the mirror that was attached to the fingerless glove that had gone missing moments earlier.

She couldn't believe it. Her hand was back. For once the universe had actually come through for her. But what had caused it to transform in the first place?

She knew it wasn't a dream and she knew that it wasn't an akuma. So what had caused all this?

Juleka pondered on this for a bit until she heard the bell ringing. Remembering that she still had classes to attend to.

She wiped her tears away quickly as she didn't want her friends to worry about her. She then fixed her hair, made her face, and finally exited the stall, only to be met by a certain blond.

Chloe looked at her venomously, as if she were her prey. But truthfully it was a little hard to take her seriously due to her nose so Juleka had to try her hardest to suppress a laugh.

You were one of them, weren't you?, the blond spat.

Ah what?

The ones who laughed at me! You were one of them!

Okay. She'll admit that she did chuckle a little. But she swore that was all she did. She didn't burst into laughter like most of the others.

Liar., Chloe hissed.

No really-wait. Why are you even so worked up on whether I laughed at you or not?

Because, the girl explained, I don't want you stepping out of place.

The goth made a questioning face when she heard that. Chloe saw this and huffed before continuing.

She then looked at Juleka, giving her a rather sinister smile. For a moment the goth had actually forgotten about the diva's nose due to how intense she was staring.

As you can see., Chloe explained, everything in the world has its own proper place in existence. Every star, every tree, every speck of dust. Rocks, cars, whatever, they all have there place because everything has its place. Including people.

And it is through this that order is given. So when we ever try to break this by going out of place. Well…we end up destroying this order.

Juleka continued staring at the blond diva, wondering whether there was a possibility of her loosing a marble or two when she was hit by that locker.

She was about to leave when Chloe blocked her way.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, order was doing well for itself creating harmony. Then, one day that harmony was tipped by two specific people. One was a stupid control freak who can't seem to stop playing superhero. The other, a stupid clutz who just can't seem to keep her mouth shut. And as they did so, everyone else followed, slowly breaking that order and normalcy that once was.

Everyone has there place my dear classmate. I'm the rich girl who is always in charge, Sabrina is my best friend who always does what ever I tell her to.

Kim is an idiot, Max is a nerd, Mylene is a scaredy cat, Nathanael is a wimp, and you… you're a freak.

Juleka's skin paled at that statement.

And that's what you'll always will be. So if you even think-

Chloe stopped when her eyes landed on the jewel that the other girl was wearing.

What's that?

Juleka tried to hide it but the blond was persistent in taking a better look. Despite the goth's opposition Chloe manage to snatch the necklace away from her.

Once it was finally in her hand the blond can now have a good look at the necklace's designs. However when she did though she proceeded in holding it in an almost disgusted manner.

Eww! What's this!

She threw the piece of jewelry which collided to a wall and closely landing to a nearby trash bin.

Juleka shoved the blond and ran towards the necklace. She kneeled and held the heart shaped jewel.

This was given to me by my father., Juleka hissed, tears once again threatening to fall from her eyes.

The blond merely shrugged and went towards the door. But before she could exit she looked at the other girl one last time saying-

Well your father obviously has no taste. No wonder you're like that.

And with that Chloe had now left Juleka who had now gave in to the tears as she cried.

Her field of visions were covered by her own tears. She sobbed and weeped as she continued crying on the floor.

Barely broken.

Flashes and memories of her childhood played in her mind. The name calling, the bullying, the shunning of her classmates, the accusations of adults.

She opened her eyes to take a glance at her necklace.

Her father used to have always told her that she was beautiful.

But it was clear that she was not. The world revealed that to her the moment she failed fitting in to its standards.

For true beauty only lies to those who were "normal".

Somewhere within the city lied a dark and almost empty chamber. A circular shaped window slowly opened allowing for light to enter. It revealed a mysterious figure. A man wearing a fine violet suit, a cane, and a mask that almost covered his entire face.

In there he was surrounded by a kaleidoscope of white luminescent butterflies.

Ah. First day of classes and already such drama., the man delighted.

He then opened and raised his palm and instantly one of the butterflies landed on it. He covered the animal with his other hand and channelled a swirl of dark energy to come.

When he released the tiny insect its white beautiful glowing wings had now become corrupted from the darkness that resulted from contaminated forces.

Go my evil akuma!, the man commanded, And evilize her!

Through the city the creature flew. Till it finally reached its destination at the school. The akuma managed to have snuck itself to the bathroom. Until finally merging itself with the necklace that the girl was clinging.

Reflecta., called a deep masculine voice.

Juleka's eyes widened out of surprise. Her sobbing immediately stopped once she realized of what was happening.

She tried to desperately suppress the villain out of her head. However unfortunately battling it would only prove fruitless. For in the moment Hawkmoth has violated an individual's thoughts, had only meant that that person was now left at his control as the devil's pawn.

For years now you have been abused by people who simply just to not understand how special you truly are. Shunned and ignored, mocked and ridiculed, no person ever deserves to be treated in such a way. Which is why I am giving you the chance to take vengeance and destroy the idol that they call "normalcy" by offering you the power to cause chaos and discord wherever you go! All I ask in return are Ladybug and Chatnoir's Miraculouses.

His voice sounded soothing, trusting. It felt extremely hard to resist the temptation the villain was offering. Whether it was some kind of magic spell, or if he was simply a master manipulator, she didn't really know. All she knew and thought right now was the sudden boiling anger ranging inside of her, compelling her to make the deal.

From today, you shall now be known as Eris! And all shall tremble before you!

So., Hawkmoth asked. Do we have a deal?

Yes Hawkmoth., and with that she accepted the villain's proposal. Allowing her self to become consumed by darkness.

The new classroom wasn't really that different from the old one. And Marinette was glad that the sitting arrangement wasn't all that different from that of last year. She still sat next to Alya. And Adrien still sat next to his own best friend, Nino. Her blue eyes took a glance at the rest of her classmates.

Mylene had now sat next to her lover Ivan. Kim still sat next to Max. And Nathanael was now back in sitting alone at the back of the class.

She took in a quick look at the next row and saw Lila who was sitting next to a new girl. She was short, probably around the same height as that of Mylene. She also had brown hair and wore a nice simple sea foam green attire. Her most striking feature however were the various bead necklaces and bracelets that she had.

Lila had tried to make small talk with her but the girl had only given the other brunette an eerie look while uttering the words:

The lying fox likes to hide the in hole she has dug.

Obviously Lila found that to be rather creepy so instead she decided to open and read a book that she had brought.

Have any of you two seen Juleka?

Both Marinette and Alya looked to see a worried looking Rose walking towards them.

I thought she went to the bathroom?, Alya asked.

Yeah., Rose answered. But she hadn't come back since. I even asked Chloe if she'd seen Juleka, but she said she hadn't.

Marinette then turned her head towards Chloe's direction eyeing the blond.

Something tells me that this has Chloe written all over it.

A gasp came from Rose. Fully aware of how mean and cruel the mayor's daughter can be. You really think so?

Calm down girl., Alya told her best friend. We don't know for sure yet.

Just as Marinette was about to stand up in order to confront Chloe, a strong gust of wind had suddenly appeared, knocking almost everyone down while causing a number of papers to fly everywhere.

Once the wind had stopped. Everyone stood up trying to regain their balance before a malevolent sounding laughter was heard.

Immediately the entire class went outside in order to see what it was. There they were met with a girl with pale skin and messy purple hair that blew everywhere. She wore a dark dress that resembled that of night. She also currently floated in the air using the wind.

But from all her changes in appearance her copper colored eyes remained the same and gave away who she truly was.

Juleka?, Rose asked anxiously. Hopping that it wasn't her.

I am no longer Juleka!, the villain spat. I am no longer Reflecta either. From now on I am Eris! The fore bringer of discord and chaos! And the destroyer of normalcy!

For centuries we all had been forced to abide by society's norms and rules. But now I am here to liberate you all from it by offering you my divine judgement.

Chloe Bourgeois!

She smiled sinisterly and made a gesture with one of her hands indicating as if for someone to come closer. Suddenly Chloe had levitated from where she stood and was forced to come nearer to Eris.

So you said you liked order and balance huh?, Eris asked, amused and delighted to see the frightened look on Chloe's face.

Well, what happens if I take that part away from you then?

Eris then placed an accusing finger on Chloe's forehead and a surge of violet electricity begun to envelop the blond.

Soon Chloe was transformed into a green, slimy, disgusting tentacled monster with no eyes, mouth or even a nose. Just three sets of slimy tentacles all conjoined into one human sized body.

Not bad. Honestly shows how you look like on the inside!, Eris mocked.

And with that she dropped the poor soul. Thankfully, due to the state of her new body, the girl managed to have survived her fall. This was shown when one of the tentacles started moving.

All who watched were frightened after witnessing of what they had just seen. But there fears were intensified when the villain gazed at them while giving out a sadistic grin.

Whose next?

Eris pointed an accusing finger at them preparing to shoot a blast of purple lightning. And from there, the entire class were shot.
