It took them all a bit to explain everything to Summer, the older woman staying in her bed, starting at them with a neutral expression all the time. All in all, Jaune and Ruby were nervous. This was Ruby's mother, whom she hasn't even met! And this was now Jaune's mother-in-law as well! Safe to say both young adults were sweating just being near her. Eventually, Ruby was doing the last part of the explanation, Salem sitting down along with Blake and Pyrrha while Glynda and Ozpin were on the side, Glynda still running the medical test on Summer to make sure she was alright.
"And that is pretty much how we ended up in this situation." Jaune replied with a nervous laugh, scratching the back of his head. Damn this nervus habit. He was even more nervous as Ruby did the slight mistake of mentioning how they all had a steamy group wedding night. He was going to be killed, wasn't he?"
"So…" Summer said, calmly at first. "Let me see if I understand. You all were involved in a dangerous heist run by Vale's most notorious thief, and it so happened there was also a terrorist group there, the Faunus girl there - Blake, right?" Blake nodded. "Going on her own, almost screwing it up, and you and your team jumped in to save the day?" She summarized, watching the nervous Ruby fidget in her seat. But then Summer smiled a bit. "Wouldn't have expected any less from my own daughter!" She shouted, making Ruby look at her slightly confused, but a sense of pride as well. "Believe it or not, back in the days of my Team - STRQ - we busted a whole drug deal that led us to a Kingpin back in our day! And it was also our first year!"
"For which you nearly got expelled, need I remind you!" Glynda added with a small frown recalling those events. "I should know since it was a big deal going around at the time and I was volunteering for work with the Headmaster at the time"
"I second that." Ozpin replied. "I was the headmaster back then as well."
"However, we didn't end up getting drunk and married afterwards!" Summer then replied, looking at Jaune and Ruby with a raised eyebrow, making the two teens freeze. "My baby girl's innocence was taken so soon…" She muttered, faking a tear. "You are not even 16 for crying out loud!"
"Mom! I was drunk!" Ruby argued back, then Summer looked at Ozpin, making the older man flich.
"I guess student-huntsmen-licenses still make you legal for drinking then? Even after what happened with Tai and Raven?" Summer asked, making Ozpin clear his throat. Despite Summer not doing a good job at acting scary, he could say she was slightly intimidating. "But Ruby…" Then she turned serious. "You said you didn't wish to divorce? Do...Do you really love this boy? Jaune, I mean."
"I…" Ruby blushed, fidgeting in her seat some more. It was one to say it in her mind and admit it, and the thought alone still made her blush, but having to say it aloud in front of her mother? She was blushing pretty madly right now, which was enough of an answer for Summer, making her smile.
"And you, Jaune." Then she turned to him, and Jaune did his best not to show his nerves. "I understand that you were not exactly in control of the situation, but you still ended up being my daughter's first and now most likely her ONLY for the rest of her life. Same questions; do you love my daughter?"
"I…" Jaune gulped down as he thought about his answer, then he sighed. "I am still trying to honestly figure out my thoughts and feelings as well, Miss Rose. I mean, this literally happened overnight!" He half-shouted. "I am not saying I am mad or anything, or that I didn't wish for this one day, but I never thought I'd happen so soon. Nor with the girls it ended up happening with. Ruby and Pyrrha both told me they had a thing for me, which took me by storm, and I am still trying to figure out why the others are still hanging around too." Said girls were both blushing to the side.
Pyrrha was nervous as well. She knew Jaune will one day need to meet her parents as well if they are to find out about the Arc Nikos line. She hoped they wouldn't be mad. However, hearing Jaune say those words, exposing her feelings in the open like that, made her blush. Salem saw this and placed a hand on Pyrrha, showing her a motherly smile. "It's ok, darling. It is no shame in announcing your love to the one you are betrothed to" This had Pyrrha calm down a bit.
"Don't get me wrong, I do love Pyrrha. She is great!" Jaune said, making Summer instantly get a nasty feeling. Favoritism was never a good thing, but before she could object he continued. "In fact, all of them are great! Which is another reason I ask myself why this happened to me in particular. I mean, Ruby is so nice, Weiss so elegant, Blake is so sophisticated, Yang is so fun - even if lately she is more pissed off than anything at the whole ordeal - Pyrrha is, well, Pyrrha! She is great, beautiful, and talented! She is herself! All of them are like this! Then there is Salem, Emerald, and Cinder. Although I haven't known them for long, and I know they are not entirely on ship with all of this, I also want to get to know them. Salem already showed how kind she can be, as well as scary." Salem giggled on the side. "She is so motherly as well, which is something I took note pretty quickly. But Emerald and Cinder? I still do not know, but I wish to know."
And he still went on, with even Ozpin listening closely. "But to return to your question...I don't know if I do love Ruby right now, but I am willing to find out. And hopefully I manage to fall in love with this cute, hyperactive, squeaky, crater face"
"You said you would never use that nickname, Vomit Boy!" Ruby quickly replied, a furious blush on her face. "And what is with all of that sweet talk?! When did you get so poetical - did Blake teach you?! Blake! Have you been teaching Jaune?!"
Blake, for her part, stared back at her leader. "I didn't." She replied, then she looked at Jaune, a pleasant smile on her face. "I am actually surprised as well about this. Jaune, have you been reading?"
"Well, you see, I-"
However, no one was able to continue talking as restrained giggles started to be heard, making everyone turn to the source of them. Summer was doing her best not to start laughing, but she did a poor job at it and eventually broke out in a rich laugh, one that ended with a winch of pain from her midriff. "You are such a dork, Vomit Boy-"
"Not another one!"
"-you remind me of someone else." Summer said, calming herself and giving him a warm smile. "You remind me of Ruby's father back when he was in Beacon with me as well! Albeit with a bit less confidence."
"Wait, mom? Does that mean?" Ruby asked, then Summer nodded.
"While I must say this was a shock, and a very big one to that, I can't say I dislike you, Jaune. You seem honest and kind, overall a good boy for my daughter." She said, looking at him. "And don't worry about polygotic marriage. Believe it or not, Tai was not divorced from Raven when we got married, so I'd be a hypocrite to say something bad about those kinds of relationships. However, your answer was honest and for that I thank you."
"Mom…" Ruby muttered. "D-does it mean that I can stay his wife?" At this, Jaune turned to her, his eyes slightly widened as Summer giggled.
"Sure, Ruby. Although I do want some quality mother-daughter time with you, seeing as we didn't get any thanks to...someone."
"Again, I apologise," Salem said.
Then, Summer showed a sly smile. "And you better give me grandbabies soon~"
"M-mom!" Ruby shouted, blushing hard while Jaune didn't try to hide his own blush. The simple prospect of being a father so early scared him! Heck, he doesn't even know if Ash managed to luck out remembering how Neo said she was not on the pill!
"Miss Rose-"
"Oh, please call me Summer, dear. You are my new son-in-law after all"
"Summer...Don't you think it is a bit too soon for that? I mean, we are both still in Beacon and Ruby is still too young to actually get pregnant-"
Summer laughed further. "Oh my God, you are just like Tai when he was in Beacon!" She interrupted again.
"It is too early for the stork!" Ruby shouted, earning the gazes of everyone present, creating an awkward silence. "What is it?"
"Ruby dear, has your father never told you where babies actually come from?" Summer asked, to which Ruby simply tilted her head. At this, Summer sighed. "And here I thought I lucked out. Well, it seems we need to have a talk about the birds and the bees."
"Right now?" Jaune asked nervously.
"What better moment will we get? I mean, you both already did it, so it is best she knows what can result. Besides, how bad can she react?"
A few students were walking past the infirmary when the door suddenly got blown from its hinges, a haze of screaming petals running down the halls covering her face with her hands, muttering. "Nope, nope, nope." All the way.
Inside the said infirmary, Jaune was groaning in his hands as Glynda felt slightly irritated since she knew she would need to fix that door. Salem looked strange at the door, finding Ruby's reaction a bit too much.
"She...certainly took that a little worse than I did." Summer said, letting out an awkward chuckle.
"Did you need to be that graphical?" Blake asked. "I mean, the simple details would've been fine."
"I agree." Ozpin said. "Beacon does have a Sex-ED for the Fourth and Third Years, and even the teachers are not...descriptive. And we got Oobleck teaching one of those classes."
"I honestly do not see why she is overreacting so much." Salem chimed in. "I was younger than her when I found out and I didn't react by breaking down the door."
"Oh boy, meeting her later is going to be awkward." Jaune said.
Meanwhile, a certain Schnee girl overheard her younger teammate saying nope to herself as she ran towards her dorm room.
"Just what is that idiot saying no to herself for?" Weiss said quietly to herself. But then another girl appeared before Weiss. A familiar Android girl.
"Salutations Weiss!" Penny said to her friend.
"Huh? What do you want Penny? I'm not really in the mood to talk right now." Weiss said as she just wanted to be alone for right now.
"I am sorry to bother you but I thought that there was something you should know. I analyzed the data from the other night. It appears that Ruby did not drink alcohol during the event at all." Penny said which surprised the white haired girl.
"Wait, what? Ok, 2 questions. First, how do you know about that and how was Ruby not drunk?" Weiss was confused at what she was being told.
"Well I saw the marriage between you all and mister Jaune. So I was asked by Ozpin to check to make sure everyone truly was drunk during the whole thing as he wasn't entirely convinced. It turns out that Ruby drank a type of vale energy drink that was spiked with a heavy overdose of sugar. I believe that this caused a reaction in Ruby that made her mind go into a state that people shouldn't go to. Ozpin also believes that Miss Emerald was the one behind this as we found that there was alcohol that was swapped out with the energy drink. It had more than one hundred times the amount of sugar than the sweets that Ruby typically eats. We believe it was something that Miss Emerald did called a prank. I do not understand what that is though." Penny explained.
"I don't get it, how does that explain Ruby being drunk?" Weiss asked.
"It appears that the amount of sugar and energy triggered a type of intoxication in Ruby. It made her act very similarly to those who drink large amounts of alcohol." Penny replied.
"Alright, even if I buy all that, how does it change anything? She still got in bed with that pervert Jaune." Weiss countered.
"It does. We are afraid that if something like that happens again it might last longer, or have other, bad consequences." Penny bluntly stated.
"Bad consequences?" Weiss echoed slightly, feeling somewhat worried for her Team leader. "What kind?"
"At least fall terribly ill in the best even fall into a coma. It is a miracle that she seems to display no negative side effects from the experience as it is. I cannot always be by her side to protect her so please Weiss, from one friend to another, can you promise to make sure she does not do that again?" Penny pleaded.
"Honestly, I really don't see how that idiot could possibly get any dumber but if it really is as serious as you say then yeah, I'll do my best to make sure she cools out on the sugar. But i need to ask, why tell me this instead of Ruby herself? Or at least her sister?" Weiss asked.
"I tried to do so but Yang is currently in her dorm room and simply told me to leave without hearing me out, and when I passed Ruby in the hallway she simply was repeating 'nope' to herself over and over and didn't seem to notice me. I did not know that humans had errors like that. Is this a common thing?" Penny asked curiously as she still did not fully understand how humans work.
"No, pretty sure that's just a Ruby thing. Anyway, thank you for telling me all this I guess. I'm not gonna speak to her right now though cause I'd rather not deal with her weird phase." Weiss stated.
"Understood. I will leave you be then." Penny said as she then left Weiss to her own devices.
Meanwhile, Ruby arrived back in her dorm room to find Yang in her bed. She was, however, still muttering 'nope' to herself again and again as she laid down in her own bed.
"Ruby, there's something important you need to know." Yang said to her little sister. The rose-themed girl however didn't respond as she was still too distracted by her own thoughts.
"We're leaving Beacon," Yang stated. This caused the younger sister to snap out of her trance and reply.
"S-Sorry Yang, I was thinking about something else, what did you say?" Ruby wanted to make sure that she heard correctly.
"I said we're leaving Beacon. Both of us." Yang stated.
"L-Leave Beacon? Why? To go see uncle Qrow? I guess I must have been so happy that I got to see mom again that I didn't even think about dad and uncle Qrow. I'm sure they'll be happy to hear that mom is alive!" Ruby was partly lying as she could tell by the tone of Yang's voice that she was far too serious.
"No Ruby. I mean we're leaving this school for good." Yang bluntly stated. Ruby now was starting to feel a mix of fear and confusion. She had to see what was really going on in her sister's head.
"Yang, why? Why do you want to leave? This is the best school ever… And we have Weiss, Blake, and everyone else… so why?" Ruby questioned.
"Best school ever my ass. This place is disgusting if it's run by some old bastard who would forsake us and our happiness for his own selfish reasons." Yang replied with anger starting to appear in her words.
"Yang… This is about us all marrying Jaune? I know you don't like Jaune and I understand that you don't want to be married to him but… Isn't leaving Beacon going a bit overboard?" Ruby was trying her best to understand Yang's thoughts.
"Fuck that perverted bastard… if I ever see him again, I swear I'll punch his dick so hard he'll never be able to use it again. Anyway, get your stuff ready so we can leave." Yang seemed to almost order her younger sister. Ruby was now starting to become truly frightened by the current situation.
"Yang, please don't do this! We don't have to leave! I'm sure that there is another way! And besides, I… I…" Ruby couldn't bring herself to finish her sentence.
"Ruby, I don't ever wanna hear that you love that bastard, do you understand me?! This is exactly why we're leaving! It's for your good!" Yang's eyes now were crimson red and her hair started to stand up.
"No… please… please calm down…" Ruby was now starting to mutter as tears were forming in her eyes.
"Ruby, tell me. Who do you trust more, that blond perverted bastard or your own big sister?" Yang asked with a flare around her.
"I… I…" Ruby did not what to say here as she was afraid if she said something wrong, her own sister might come to hate her.
"RUBY! FUCKING ANSWER ME!" Yang screamed out with more fury than ever. She was now close to seemingly literally exploding in anger. This pushed her younger sister over the edge as she started to cry.
"I… I understand… I'll do what you say… I'll leave Beacon with you… if it's what you think is best… just please… don't hate me… I'm sorry…" Ruby struggled to say all these things through her tears but at that moment, Yang hugged her.
"There, there little sis. You know I could never hate you. Just leave everything up to me ok? I promise that you'll be happy. I love you, Ruby." Yang said as warmly as she could as her red eyes and flowing hair turned back to normal.
"I… I love you too, Yang…" Ruby replied.
As the two girls were talking about how they were going to pull off the runaway, a certain green-haired girl couldn't help but overhear the shouting Yang did not long ago. Emerald approached the door, leaning her ear to it and listening in slightly. She was still wearing the wedding ring because she liked the model and thought of it as a nice jewel to have. But listening to the girls had her breath pitch for a moment.
"They are trying to run away? More so, it seems the blonde one is trying to convince her sister to go with her. Wow. That is, like, so wrong…" Emerald thought, then she slightly backed away, going back to the room she was sharing with Salem and Cinder. She was trying to figure out what to do with this information.
"It is not any of my business, even if I am married to that guy as well and those two are my sister-wives. So I could just let them leave. However…" She then looked over to Salem's bed. "She has been somewhat more...happy? Lately. Salem certainly acted differently since what happened in the office, and in a good way as well. She clearly is fond of the boy. True, her being in this means Cinder and thus I am, but if the same chain effect applies…" That is when it hit her. "If they leave, and Jaune starts to blame himself for it, possibly getting depressed, then Salem will become sadder and depressed as well, meaning that Cinder might...I cannot let those two run away. I have to find Salem and Jaune, anyone trustworthy right now. Heck! Even that Schnne bitch works!"
After that Emerald ran out of her room, heading towards the main building of Beacon where she knew Salem went with Jaune. They had to be aware of this.
It was now the middle of the night. Yang and Ruby had managed to make their way to the garage in Beacon in order to get Bumblebee. Yang couldn't exactly leave her prized motorcycle behind after all.
"Yang… are you really sure about this? Is there really no other way?" Ruby asked as she wanted so desperately to stay at Beacon.
"Little sis, do you not trust me? Do you think I'm stupid or something?" Yang asked with her eyes starting to turn red again.
"No… it's just that-" she was then cut off.
"Good. So follow along then." Yang demanded. The yellow-haired older sister managed to find her bike but she also found something else she didn't expect to see. A shadowy figure that she couldn't make out.
"Who's there?!" Yang yelled out.
"Good evening, Yang." Salem greeted as the lights turned themselves on, revealing Emerald sitting on the side as well. "I find myself asking, even though I know why you are here already and your plan, but what are you doing?"
"What does it look like I am doing?" Yang asked, clenching her fist as her eyes grew red. "I am getting away from this fucked up situation once and for all!"
"But then why are you taking Little Red there with you?" Emerald asked. "Pretty sure she and blondie were not that bad together and were hitting it off well, actually-"
"Ruby agreed to this already," Yang said, interrupting Emerald. "Now move!"
"I am afraid that is not that much of an option, Miss Arc Xiao Long." Yang turned herself around, hearing the voice of Ozpin who was standing there with a solemn expression on his face. Ruby and Yang were both surprised to see him along with the people around him.
Blake, Cinder, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Jaune were there as well. Glynda made herself known soon as well. "Breaking curfew?"
"What the fuck is it with all of you here?" Yang asked, feeling trapped. "And you, Weiss? You were against this just as much as me! Why are you here?"
"Because as much as I dislike this situation, Yang, what are you doing is not any better. For a matter of fact, it might be worse." Weiss stated. "We know about your plan of running away, Yang. Emerald overheard you back in the dorm and announced Jaune and the others. Together we decided to stop you here knowing you will most likely get your bike first."
"What?!" Yang shouted. "That is bullshit! Why would all of you try and stop us? If we want to get away from here we should be allowed to do so-"
"But is it right to force Ruby to do this even though she might not agree?" Blake chimed in, cutting Yang off.
"She does agree!" Yang replied, then she turned to Ruby. "Tell them, Rubes!"
"I...I…" Ruby was stuttering, trying to figure out her words. Seeing everyone here made it hard for her to do anything, let alone still go through with it. Yang, for her part, clenched her teeth and turned her gaze towards Jaune.
"This is all your damn fault!" She shouted. "You forced us to marry you-"
"Jaune didn't force any of us to marry him!" Pyrrha shouted back. "Although we might have not been sober at the time we all agreed to this!"
"Which is another reason this is messed up!" She pointed to Ozpin. "And you! Who marries their own students to some freaky, immortal witch just to end a feud?!" Ozpin didn't reply, nor did anyone there. "And to top it all off, why are you all just...Ok with this?! I know Weiss and Emerald were there and wanted to divorce, but then Emerald pulled back because of Cinder! And even then she is only here because of Salem!"
"Do not dare to-" Salem raised her palm, silencing Cinder in time.
"Pyrrha might have a thing for Jaune! Heck, I even admit Ruby might have something on him, and even Blake gave him strange looks, but the rest of us?" She said. "This is unfair to us all!"
"But is it fair to drag Ruby into doing something she doesn't want to do and run away?" Jaune asked, feeling unable to hold back anymore. "Yang, don't you see? Ruby doesn't want this, she doesn't want to leave Bea-"
"Oh, shut the fuck up!" Yang interrupted again. "She doesn't know what is good for her! She has never been in a relationship before and all of this is like jumping from square one to eleven in one hop! Even if Summer is back now because of you, that doesn't change anything! More so, it makes things worse! Salem was the one to take her away for so many years, and you are all...forgiving her?!"
"I know I have sinned, but I promised to atone for everything," Salem stated. "But what you are doing right now is not the right choice, Yang. You are not even thinking straight!"
"Oh, but I am." Yang retorted. "In fact, I think I am the only thinking straight of all the people here! So now get out of my way! Come on, Ruby! Get your luggage! They cannot stop us from taking my bike and leaving!"
"Yang, but, I…" Ruby stuttered, watching everyone standing idle. Even Salem and Emerald walked away from the bike. "Why aren't you all trying to stop us?" She asked, to which Jaune stepped forth to talk.
"Because in the end, Ruby, I cannot keep any of you bound," Jaune said. "If any of you wish to leave me, I understand. It is the stupid law of Vale that is keeping everyone tied like this. I honestly just want things to go back to the way they were before with us having a good time in the cafeteria. But this? Ruby, I know you are not the type of person to run away."
Hearing those words, even if they were not directed at her, made Yang perk up. "What did you say, Vomit Boy?" She asked, slowly turning to him with her eyes bright red.
"That running away is not the answer." He repeated, watching as Yang slowly walked to him. "Yang-"
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!" Without warning, she launched herself at Jaune, the boy activating his semblance out of reflex and reinforcing his Aura. As soon as Yang's fist had made contact with his abdomen a shockwave erupted, making the ones closest to them cover their eyes. "What?!"
Jaune took an easy breath. "Semblance, right. I have a strong one." He muttered, then he watched Yang back away holding her hand. The same happened with Cardin back then, he hurt himself trying to punch through his reinforced Aura. It was honestly a gamble seeing Yang's strength and the fact she herself was using her semblance...Or was she?
"We are NOT running away," Yang stated. "We are just leaving-"
"Just as Raven left you and Tai?" At this Yang felt her heart sink in her stomach as she turned to the left, seeing Summer standing there in a wheelchair being pushed by Penny. "Yang?"
"Summer...Why?" She muttered, then she looked at her step-mother. "You...You know about all of this?"
"Yes. They explained it to me shortly after you left the infirmary. It is hard for someone to sleep through your shouting, you know." Summer said. "But I am glad they did. I can tell Ruby truly cares about Jaune and he didn't even try to lie to me by saying outright he loved her. He was honest with me and I appreciate it. But Yang, is this right?"
"Of course it is!" She replied. "I and Ruby were forced into this because of a stupid mistake whilst drunk and-"
'Did you know that the same mistake led to your conception?" Summer said, not proud of having to say this now, but she saw no other way. Yang, for her part, went silent. "Another reason why Raven left was that she really didn't want you, Yang. You see, Tai and Raven got together because Raven got pregnant after she and Tai got drunk one night during a party. We had barely graduated, you see."
"But…"
"Raven at first wanted an abortion, but Tai and I managed to talk her out of it." Summer said, looking down. "I sometimes feel like I forced her to do it. To do something she did not desire. But when the day of the birth came do you know what I saw on her face?"
Yang scoffed. "Disappointment?"
"Love." Summer replied, earning Yang's confused eyes. "She might have not liked the idea, and believe me, the first trimester of her pregnancy was full of nasty insults during the morning sickness session, but when she held you in her arms she had such a peaceful expression it was hard to believe it was the same Raven."
"But then why did she leave us? Why did she leave me?" Yang asked once again, to which Summer replied solemnly.
"Because, in the end, when it became hard for her to be a mother she ran away." Summer said, feeling sadness within. "Or at least, that is what Tai and Qrow assumed. I didn't get to see her when she left, so I will never truly know why exactly she left. But it couldn't be that. As a mother myself, I know that better than anyone. After all, it wasn't just her and Tai, but me and Qrow as well that were taking care of you at the time before Ruby was born."
Yang took a step back. "Why are you telling me this? First, telling me I was an accident then telling me that my own mother, who ran away, actually had love for me?" She looked at Summer, her red eyes flickering. Her rage was being slowly taken by other emotions. "What does that have anything to do with the matter at hand?!"
"Because although Raven didn't want you, Yang, she was glad we did what we did and got to meet you! To hold you and love you." Summer said. "She gave you a chance, Yang. You never blew it. But now? I might not know the reason behind why Raven had to run away like that, so I cannot judge her, but this? This isn't right, Yang. You are dragging Ruby in this as well even though she doesn't want this!"
"I said it already, that is not-"
"YANG, SHUT UP!" The blonde brawler's words died in her mouth as she turned around, setting her eyes on the teary, silver orbs of her sister. "Please, just shut up already. You are not making anything better by running away! I do not want to leave Beacon! I want to stay here with everyone! To learn, to become a Huntress, to be with my Team, my friends, and Jaune! I want to stay here because I love him!" She said, leaving Yang stunned. However, Ruby quickly realized her last words and blushed. "I-I-I m-mean that I love everyone here! Y-yes! That's it!"
"Ruby, you…" Yang muttered, looking at her sister. "You never shouted at me before like that, let alone telling me to shut up."
"Yang, please, do not do this!" Ruby pleaded more. "I know you are aware this is not the right thing! You are making the same mistake your mother did; abandoning everyone!"
"But I am taking you with me-"
"You are forcing me to come!" Ruby cut her off, once again stunning her. "You are forcing me to make the same mistake, something I do not want to make! Please Yang, just think about it more. Is this really the best thing?"
"I…" Her eyes went back to normal fully, slowly backing down into the wall of the garage and slumping against the wall. "I'm just…" She muttered, not knowing what to say. This was a first; her, Yang Xiao Long, not knowing what to say in this situation.
"Yang, I am not stopping you from doing anything." Jaune said. "But you cannot drag others with you. It's just not right! And if you want to vent then...Take it out on me." This earned the looks of everyone, worried gazes that settled on Jaune. Even Yang raised her eyes to look at him. "I have a lot of Aura, and with my semblance, I can make it stronger. No matter how much you hit me, how much you break me, I will be fine. So please. Do not bottle up what is within. Let it out-!" No sooner had he said that Yang was upon him. She tackled him by the midriff and crashed him into the ground, the others wanting to jump in as soon as they saw Yang punch him in the jaw, but Jaune weakly put his hand up, stopping them.
"Why!" Yang shouted as she unleashed Hell on him. "We were drunk!" Another punch landed on his jaw, dazzling him. "We never truly agreed to this!" She punched him again, his nose already leaking down blood. "Yet we all woke up, naked, right there in bed with you!" She punched him again, sending a few drops of blood to the side. "We woke up married against our choice!" She punched him again. "And now we cannot even undo it! You even took Ruby's innocence, what the fuck!" And again, and again, and again, until Jaune's face was a mess. However, as she kept punching him, her punches became weaker. "So why are you being so kind and understanding?" She asked, punching him again, but the force behind it was lower. "Why do you have to be such a good, kind-hearted, dorky, Vomit Boy!" She punched him in the chest with one arm, then the other came down. Then she put her head on his chest. "Why...Don't you hate me? I have been nothing but a bitch to you since this started…"
Jaune spat to the side, seeing a tooth sliding on the concrete. Yang roughed him up good. He then heard her words and looked up at her. "Because I am aware of all of this…" He said slowly. "This is unfair to you all, I know, but I am in the same boat here. I mean -" He snorted. "I got married to a bunch of wonderful girls, true, and each one is better than I will ever be."
Yang raised her head, slight tears filling her eyes as she looked at him. "That...That is not true!"
"Of course it is…" He stated again. "I even cheated my way into Beacon. You all deserve to be here, I don't"
"That is not true, damn it!" Yang shouted again, punching his chest with both of her arms and earning a wince from him. "You are here to be someone! To save lives! I...I am here just because I want to fight Grimm and other people! I never once wanted to save others, only seeing it as a pleasant side-reward...You deserve to be here more than even me…"
"Than everyone." Pyrrha chimed in. "I came to Beacon so I could run away from my fame back in Mistral. For me, becoming a Huntress was nothing more than a way of running away from that"
"I wanted to become a Huntress so I could fight for Faunus rights." Blake said. "But in the end, it was a biased view focused only on the Faunus, not everyone."
"I always wanted to be a Huntress to follow in mom's footsteps." Ruby stated. "I do not know if that is a good or bad thing, but I think Jaune's reason is still better."
"You see, Jaune?" Yang asked. "You deserve being here."
Ozpin smiled seeing this. "Which is why I allowed him in with the forged transcripts." All eyes were on him. "I knew all along he was a phony, but any person who is willing to put their lives on the line like he had by simply coming here deserves a chance to grow and be the ones they want to be. Fate has already spoken when you passed the initiation and became the leader of Team JNPR. Cheat or not, your father was a grand fool for not seeing the potential in you and nurturing it."
"Everyone…" Jaune muttered, feeling a tear stroll down his face. One that Yang whipped away.
"No crying, Ladykiller. I don't want my husband to be a crybaby." She stated.
"Wait, you-"
"Don't get ideas." Yang got up, helping him on his feet. "I won't call you any fancy, cutesy names or anything or act all lovey-dovey and whatnot. I will just stop acting sour and bitchie about it. So if you want this ass again you have to earn it! Got it?"
Jaune took a moment to process. "Yes?"
"You better hit the gym more often then!" Yang added. "Now, Ruby…" She turned to her sister. "I am sorry about nearly doing a big, stupid mistake. You know I care about you and wouldn't do anything to hurt you, but all of this just had me going nuts for some time. Can you forgive me?'
Ruby jumped at Yang, hugging her sister. "Of course I am."
"Too sweet…" Emerald said, slightly gagging at the sight. "Can we just go back to our rooms? It is night and I need to sleep."
"Shouldn't you fix Yang's bike first?" Salem asked, to which Emerald panicked seeing Yang turn to her.
"My bike?" Yang asked. "What about Bumblebee?"
"Well, you see, in case you got on your bike and tried to ride away, Emerald rigged it so it breaks down after a few miles." Cinder said. "Pretty sure that counts as sabotage."
"You touched my bike?" Emerald turned pale. "FIX. IT!"
"Y-yes…"
And so, after everyone went back to their rooms after the whole ordeal. Jaune had to make a detour with Glynda to the infirmary to get some good treatment for Yang's rough treatment - pun intended. Afterward, they all went to sleep, waiting to see what tomorrow might have in store.
Nerdy: and done.
This one is more even than the others. At times one of us gets stuck and the other has to do everything else solo. This one is actually balanced. Granted, I had other plans, but what Nerdy made here works too.
Nerdy: pillow, you trolled us hard lol. But yeah, this chapter felt a bit rushed at first but i'm satisfied with the outcome. Although, yang was starting to feel a bit yandere there for a second lmfao. Oh well. All's well that ends well i suppose.
